Canara is very good bar and restaurants for bachelors with good food and liquor. Families please avoid this place as the crowd is not good (All Men). It serves both veg and non-veg. Location is near to TATA memorial hospital. It does home delivery too in Parel area. Overall a decent place for Men.A person who is non veg lover and booser must visit as non veg food is aweaome . Reasonably affordable and faat service. Home delivery available. Near to tata and kem hospital
We live really close to this place but had never been here since initially it was only a bar. But now they have converted and added a family section to it too.
The ambience is nice and it's done nicely. Loved the old mumbai paintings put up everywhere.
I read a lot of other Zomato reviews before going here so that we could order good, recommended dishes..
We ordered a paya soup. So the taste was spicy but not very flavorful and also I dint enjoy the paya in it.
We ordered tandoori chicken which was tasty.
Next we ordered a recommended chicken oyster and wine. This is sweet and spicy in taste and you should order this only if you like that sweetish taste in food.
For the main course we just had a chicken dum Biryani and a blue Curacao based drink which was quite refreshing.
It's not very expensive too. Around 900 for two persons!
Canara Family restaurant and bar is located near Tata Hospital Parel. It has nice ambience with good amount of seatings for groups or family also instrumentals of hindi songs were playing in the background. The separate family AC section has comfortable seating.
Now Coming to the food and drinks we ordered following :

👉🏻Green Surmai Fry: Huge slice of well marinated rava fried surmai fish, A must try at this place.
👉🏻Paya Soup: Hot and spicy paya soup with very perfectly cooked tender paya pieces.
👉🏻Mutton Ghee Roast: This is a delight for the mutton lovers.
👉🏻Gajar Halwa: IT is made fresh and I'm sure that you wouldn't stop at ordering just the one.
It was a pleasure visiting this restaurant for leisure time along with your family and friends one easily located and feel good place for sure!!!🤩🤩🤩

Canara has become a usual for us because of it's proximity to Kem hospital.
It has a simple and elegant ambience with instrumentals of classic hindi songs playing in the background.

If you're looking for veg- nonveg dishes with cheap booze for family dining then Canara dining and bar is the best fit near Parel, Bhoiwada. The restaurant has a simple and clean ambiance and serves Chinese, Mughlai, Punjabi cuisines. Food quality and quantity were pleasant. The food taste was good, nothing disappointed us in terms of taste.

Fine dine with family and friends then this place is a good option. Located opposite Parel hospital, it is very easy to find. They do have a separate bar section as well.
Ambience:
The entire place is decorated with photo frames of famous inventions giving it a classy vibe. It also makes addition to your general knowledge as well ;)

1) Starter-Chicken Oyster Wine
Different starter than the regular ones. The taste was sweet and tangy but overall amazing.
2) Main Course-Murg Mogalai and Naan
The chicken gravy was little sweet with lot of cheese added to it but the taste was good.
3) Peach Ice tea
Decent did not enjoy it that much could have been better.

The restaurant is a bit pricey but otherwise with regards to food and service it's pretty good.

One of the oldest joint in Bhoiwada , parel . Serves multi cuisine food . Must try the butter chicken , tandoori chicken & Chicken sukka . Haven’t tried their chinese yet ! It was a like a quarter joint but with new ambience its a family restaurant now . Really worked on the plating presentation with the ambience. Overall a good place with affordable price .

The place is small but stunning considering the location. With fully chilled AC and the well laid décor, the restaurant looks premium. If you're a history buff, you'd especially love this place. The walls are full of old images of Aamchi Mumbai along with other historical firsts like mobile phone and camera.

1. We had Masala Papad which was standard affair.
2. Prawns Fry was nice and crispy with succulent texture. The quantity was disappointingly less.
3. Black Pepper Chicken starter was excellent. For spicy consumers, this is a must have. Leaves a pungent flavour in your mouth for a long time, which may or may not be a deal breaker. Quantity was just enough.
4. Veg Triple Schezwan Rice was pretty different from what I have had in other Chinese places. To start with, I had to ask the waiter, while he was serving, whether it was actually fried rice since it had green peas in it. Nevertheless, the peas weren't a bother. The rice was great. Little different from other triple rice dishes in which there was less gravy, so rice was not watery, which was good. The dry fried noodles added a nice crunch to it. Only dismal part was dry manchurian balls. The balls were a little hard and dry in the centre. The rice also had spicy sauce in it which improved the taste significantly. There was no need for any additional sauce or soy. Quantity was satisfactory. Overall a good experience with rice. Could have been excellent if the manchurian balls were soft and succulent.
Cost: 4 Stars;
Considering the ambience and decor and to some extent food, I'd say the cost was OK and reasonable.

Staff is courteous and gave good suggestions. The service regarding food was particularly quick. That's the best part. If you're really hungry, go for this place. Will serve you whatever you want to have in very short time.

Have visited this place for dinner with my friends the ambience is good the service from all the staff is good . For a start we ordered cheese garlic naan , hot garlic chicken in Chinese which was good , kalimiri kebab That was good too and again. We ordered a cheese garlic naan but the quality of second one was not up to mark as compared to first one . Than , it was time to grab some roti with chicken Amritsari red thick gravy little spicy in taste overall from my review I have rated , also I would like to bring in notice our order was not at all delay and was in time thanks to the staff and chef ..

Quick service. Courteous staff. I would recommend the Chicken Pulimunchi, Chicken Sukka, Authentic Mangalorean Neer Dosa and the Chicken 65. Alcohol too is reasonably priced. Nice place to visit after a tiring day at work. Definitely a favourite with all the tired doctors of Tata Memorial and K.E.M Hospital. I would rate it 3.75 stars if the option was provided :)

My all time favourite bar in my area....the renovation is just too good to explain...family section they have started it extra ordinary... This bar has a standard to arrive with your family and special friends...old mill kind of a gesture and interior....with some antiques in showcase.....i loved the atmosphere....Food is good BUT....quantity of Biryani is too less...

The vegetarian food options here are quite nice and yummmy. I've tried their 'Paneer tikka masala', 'pahadi paneer', 'paneer maratha', 'veg handi'. I don't remember other items which i've tried here. But it doesn't matter because their food quality, quantity and taste all of them areee quite awesomeee!! The air-cooling is also very nice and the area although a bit smaller at first look is adequate for a limited number of people. One thing i'd like to suggest them is the introduction of 'Chapati' and 'butter chapati' variants in breads section!!!!

Searching a lot i find this hotel somewhere in dadar and parel so going inside the atmosphere was good as AC was working good its a small dining area ..food was tasty but i feel price was too high ..as food quantity was very less ...in one order only one can eat properly...sharing will lead to quantity issue ...over all food was nice drink prices are double or triple from wine shop price so thing is ur a middle-class with family as its not pocket frndly ...sitting area is small but one can adjust and seat ...

Went there on suggestion of a friend but it was the best things that happened off late to me. What a great ambience, too good a service and very tasty food. I always keep a tab on the bill but for the food we had it dirt cheap. We paid about 800 per person for two round of drinks and veg plus non veg snacks. Portions are also good and so is the presentation of food. Btw the place has two partitions of family and non-family guests. Even the "chakhna" with drink was prepared with so much care. Must go place for a quiet and enjoyable hangout with friends.

It's very affordable place to dine in.. we a group of 7 friends visited.. every dish was good. I personally liked their jamun ice cream and laccha paratha which went well with their chicken gravy... I'll visit again.💜
