I've ordered so many times from here and the food has never been short of anything but wonderful. The meat is tender and bursting with flavour, the roti is so soft. The kebabs bring back memories of Delhi food that is SO rare to find in Bombay.
Am I maybe writing this in a food-fuelled high? Possibly. But does the place absolutely deserve this rambling love note in the guise of a review? YES.
This place was at the beginning of bandstand, but now moved to carter road. Tried the tandoori chicken and chicken barra semi gravy. Both dishes were delicious with good quantity. Worth a try.

In Frame: Chicken Afghani Tikka, A semi-gravy starter which was worth a try. It is neither too spicy nor too bland. The combination of the gravy, the chutney and the smokey flavour of the chicken was on point. Chicken was tender and juicy.

We have seen some really good reviews and pretty bad ones too for this place, and frankly speaking our personal experience was really good, we had always seen this place full of people whenever we passed by the lane and always thought of trying it. A hot spot for the locals as it stays open till 1 a.m. There is no place to sit but you can always stop by in your cars as their service is quick and efficient. On the other side where we feel the quantity should have been a little more for the price, still a good place for your midnight cravings for smokey starters.
Yum yum yum. I just ve to say that. The blend of the spice and chutney is lovely.just the right spice and having it there one of its experience.

“Salim’s Shahi Sigdi” a compact stall on the footpath of Hill Road, Bandra opposite to popular St. Andrews Church. This place is well know for serving delicious non vegetarian starters and rolls.
Since it’s a stall there is no seating options available and you have to stand and eat. Incase you have vehicle you can park and sit inside it to eat.
The menu of this place is short and sweet which is totally for the non-vegetarians. We ordered Chicken Chatpata Kebab and Lucknowi Chicken Seekh from the menu which are accompanied by onions and mint chutney on the sides.
Chicken kebabs were really soft and juicy and trust me you won’t stop eating it😋😋.

Service:- Quick as you don’t have to wait much for your order.
Experience:- It was luscious experience and surely must visit place if you are non-vegetarian. So next time when I’m in Bandra I’m going to visit this place again as there is still a lot on the menu to try out.

Ordered chicken malai seekh from here. It was amazing, very tender and extremely juicy. Im excited to try out more dishes from here.
The only thing dissapointing was that there was no roomali roti available to order on zomato from here.
This place is close to Hearch's burger co...its quite famous amongst the locals ...we had ordered 4 rolls and tandoori chicken...sorry that I couldn't take pics as we all just pounced on the food coz it was looking damn taaty...it tasted good as well...the rolls start from 100rs for non veg and it's worth it ...the juice is worth the squeeze 😅 #ITbhukkad#rolls#tandoori
It's a road side shack. Don't expect anything fancy. But the food is amazing. People who love kebabs this place is definitely worth trying. You won't regret.
I had the Chicken Afghani Tikka & Chicken Dahi Seekh both were semi gravy kindoff dish. It was nice - soft and juicy. Seekh kebab had the slightly spicy flavor which was perfect. Not too spicy nor too bland.
I gave less rating cause I found 2-3 pieces of the chicken afghani seekh slightly undercooked.
Also I find the rolls to be on the costlier side as compared to the price. Increase the quantity please.!
Anybody out here in Bandra would definitely know Salim’s because of the crowd that one could spot in late eves. The aromatic fragrance of chicken and meat getting roasted is so tempting. Chicken is so tender and juicy and obviously it’s so fresh. We would always stop by because they offer quick and efficient services in your cars. Must visit!!

We wanted to eat kebab & we came to bandra west hill road to this amazing place called Salims Shahi Sigdi an awesome place to have kebab. The taste is superb however I feel it was costly. But it’s a great place to have kebabs.

We had ordered 6 plates of chicken Afghani tikka and 4 plates of chicken malai tikka for a house party recently!
We went for the Afghani since it was highly recommended by the staff...and presuming that the staff is never wrong,I went with their recommendation and I wasn't disappointed at all!
The chicken Afghani tikka is out of this world!
The malai tikka was also tender and succulent...all in all,good value for money!
However,this is not a sit-down eatery. It's actually a roadside stall where you can grab a bite on the go or order a takeaway.
If you want to have fresh and yummy chicken tandoori then this place is a must visit place. The chicken was very tender and every bite was mouthwatering.

This is indeed a very nice place to have chicken tikka or Chicken Tandoori. Athough there is no sitting arrangement, you need to eat it while standing or get your food parceled.
Chicken tikka and Hara Bhara kabab, both are really nice. I haven't tried Tandoori yet but I will soon do it.

If you’re a non veg eater then this is definitely the place for you to be. A very old shop that serves it legacy just right. Not as hyped as other places in Mumbai, but it’s better than most of them.

Love their food. It's cheap and tasty too. Since I live close I usually order their rolls which are very good. Their Chicken Malai rolls are outstanding. Also delivery is quick as I stay nearby.The good part is that it is open till late in the night

Was passing buy halted on Hill road near bandstand had ordered as suggested by the server , ordered for mutton seekh Malai roll , the taste was gud onions were like less it was juicy tho.. overall a nice room need some more instruction to them before ordering . So be specific abt ur order what u want I think it will be the best......

Salim Shahi Is my all time favourite for a quick cheap meal. Value for money , amazing taste , always cooked to perfection. Love their Kalimiri chicken tikka roll , Chicken sheekh kebab is super moist . Must try if you are in Bandra ( hill road ) and want to grab a quick roll , salim sigdi is definitely the answer to your hunger 😊😊

Salim's Shahi Sigdi is an amazing place for yummy muglai food. Just come her at night and eat away in your car with friends and family.
The staff is very friendly and kind and they will recommend just the right dishes to satisfy your taste buds.
They welcome you with a smile on their face.
The food is reasonable and worth every rupee. The chicken is very soft and tender and cooked and flavored thoroughly unlike so many places where it's very rubbery inside.
Its my top recommend places for a nice muglai street food.

Since it is the month of Ramadan I was craving for chicken kebabs. This was the very first time that I went to this place with my friend to have kebabs. As, we used to see this place crowded while passing by, we eventually had to stop at this kebab corner to eat. This place has no seating but it's worth to wait for those delicious kebabs.

The Taste of both the kebabs were amazing!. It simply started melting in my mouth as the pieces were soft, juicy and well marinated. I found Pahadi kebab more delicious than the normal kebab. The marination of Pahadi kebab was next level as every bite of it had the flavour. Prajakta Gharat

By now, I'm pretty sure I've tried almost all their kebabs. Have been eating from here for a couple of years now and it's safe to say, don't you worry. Your stomach will not go out!
My personal favorite is their Malai Tikka Roll. Just the right amount of spice. Yes, it is medium spicy even though it's Malai Tikka but I wouldn't have it any other way.
The seekh kebabs are another crowd pleaser but hey! go for what you want to try, I bet you'll love everything 😀.

Weekend's at bandra have a great impact on foodies as it's a great place to discover new restaurant which can produce authentic-mouth watering tastes in their dishes.Near palli hill Salim's Shahi Sigdi is famous for it's kebabs.All of their menu item try items.They also serve biryani which leave you speechless with its tastes.You have park your car near restaurant and order from your car itself.They serve you inside your car, as a result no fuss about waiting for in line to place your order!!!
Coming straight to the point, this is a kebab corner directly opposite St. Andrew's Church, Bandra going towards Bandstand. You'll have to stand as it is located on a footpath.
The kebabs, however, are very succulent but overpriced, I thought. They are served with a green chutney and onions. About the hygiene aspect, I'm a bit sceptical. So, if you think your immune and digestive systems are up for this, go ahead.
The food is simply delicious to say the least. Way better than most of the people around him. The meat is rather soft and succulent. Am really glad that I tried them just by chance. Now they are a regular choice and yes, nice blokes at the counter who serve you with a smile.

A place for all those who want to grab a bite at night till 1-2 am. The rolls are tasty but compared to the price you pay, the quantity is not satisfying if you are really hungry.
Don't forget to sip on the amazing thick shakes served in a joint (Sip-N-Trip) nearby owned by the same person. The shakes cost around ₹200 minimum but is worth for every penny you shell out, may be even more.
We tried brownie shake and red velvet, the best ever I have had till date. A must and must try for every foodie. They even give you testers if you ask in shot glasses which are the coolest thing. So you can try a few shakes before ordering your drink.
Rated 4.5 just because the shakes satiate your hunger which isn't satiated by the food which you ordered.

Charcoal grilled chicken tikkas wrapped in a roomali ... perfect size ... good quality .... reasonably priced ... very highly reccommended ...

We were desperately hunting for food yesterday night when we came across this small road side joint! There are two sigdis adjoining one another and initially we were confused. Later on this tough job was left on to Usama Khan and he decided we go here!! This is a small roadside joint yet they hav chairs so that you cn have your food in peace! They had a variety of kebabs and rolls to choose from! We tried their chicken malai tikka and mutton seekh kebab! The chicken was grilled properly and the mutton was tender enough! Later on we decided to have some rolls .. They suggested us to have their chicken shahi tikka roll ! It had the perfect amount of meat and sauce !
If you are hauting for food at night , this is the place you should definitely try!

Next time you're in and around this place to withdraw cash from one of the many ATMs adjoining Salim's. Instead of waiting impatiently for your turn, stay calm and go ahead and order some seekhs and rolls.
We're a regular tandoori nibblers at this joint. Seekh kebabs are delectable too. Have tried most of their rolls and couldn't find anything to crib about.
Even if I had to order something blindfolded here, I would happily do so. Cause whatever I lay my fingers on, I would be utterly satisfied once I'm done with it within the first five minutes of being served.
Don't see any reason of not visiting them again. They also deliver biryanis and I have a menu handy but have so far not had the opportunity to order them for my gang at work. But it would not be long before we do.
A great joint to have some authentic and comforting rolls and starters. I have gone there many a times and tried almost everything on their menu. The pahadi tikka, dahi chicken kebabs and seekh kebabs are really good. Dahi chicken is I think their best item on the menu. They have a dahi chicken roll as well which is equally good. Very unique and delicious. Chicken chatpata, chicken tikka and seekh kebab rolls are great too. Good quantity. Very underrated and not as hyped as the other roll chains in Mumbai but it's better than most of them.

Well...if ur from mumbai.....or even if ur just visiting, a late night trip to bandstand is a must......Me being a localite, have on more than one occassion had a growling stomach during these trips.....well wallah ! Stop ur car by the side and order at will....the kebabs, rolls are simply delicious......and the anticipation of bandstand just elevates the pleasure levels......:)

It's probably the best kebabs I have ever had till date. Tried it on the Christmas eve and was worth every penny of it . The chicken was tender and juicy mixed well with the spices. Proper blend of everything indeed. Had four kebabs .. personal favourite was the Dahi chicken kebab. Whenever I go to Bandra this place is a must. Kudos.
First up, the address listed here is horribly wrong ... They're located near St Andrew's Church and nowhere near Theresa's which is closer to Khar. Secondly, I believe the prices have changed since the menu was listed here. Paid 480 for 4 rolls which works out to an average of 120 a roll.
Nonetheless, the rolls are wholesome for the current pricing and arrived fresh. They took the trouble of checking if we prefer spicy food but even after agreeing on medium I found the chutney (generously applied in each roll) to be a little too spicy. Chicken was well cooked in all the rolls and special mention for the Seekh Kebab ones.
Things I didn't enjoy as much was the Cabbage used instead of Onion which takes the flavour down a notch. The curd used in a couple of the rolls also seemed out of place as it makes the rotis a bit soggy along with the excess chutney.
Good pricing, good flavours and good quantity of meat.. Good start!!

I love their place. It is a very small street type place to have good food. If you are a 'Bade miya's' colaba fan, then you can definitely relish the same taste by living it near bandra.
The yummiest rolls I’ve ever had and best part was each one had it’s own different mouth watering flavour , full of Flavours perfect amount of spices and the outer bread was just perfect. Would highly highly recommend!
A good takeaway Kebab eatery along the lanes of Pali hill in Bandra. Good to fetch some kebabs and tikkas while trolling on and evening soiree. We had Chicken Zaffrani Tikka and it was soft and melting. The marination was just perfect with a balanced blend of coal heating.

We tried alot of dishes and every single dish was nailed to perfection! Absolutely love this place! Love the rolls here. Service might take time depending upon the crowd but the service is great & they treat their customers well & politely. Open till 2-2.30AM thus making it a rest place for quick bites. Apart from roles, they also have some chicken & mutton dishes with roti's.
Chicken malai sheek kebab roll was truly yummy. Can't wait to try the other dishes.

Absolutely gorgeous food. Simply magnificent.. Being a hardcore non vegetarian, I don't prefer vegetarian fare ever. But the vegetarian kebabs served over here are simply some of the best in this city. Simply delicious.. Do try it out with the regular fare and I bet you won't regret it..
Tried the seekh kebab - it t literally melts in the mouth. Their tikkas and rolls - especially the makhani roll and chatpata roll are droolworthy.
What rolls and what a biryani - their dahi garlic roll was amazing.
You'd might want to wear a slightly loose jeans while eating their food so you don't feel guilty and eat to your hearts content
