The first thing.. when we entered we were grated with a very warm welcome by the staff. Which many places lack. They have very polite and helpful staff. Food was amazing.. My partner is not a fan of sizzlers but here he just love it.
We ordered.
Threaded paneer - Which was goddam crispy and crunchy paneer was fresh. And the gravy served with it was superb.
Jalapeño cheese corn balls - The best I have had yet so far. I tried many places in Malad including lounges didn't appeal me as much as these did.
Chinese sizzler :- This was just amazing gravy fries manchurian noodles and rice. What else can you ask for. Rice fine and perfectly flavoured, thin noodles flavourful gravy soft as cloud melt in mouth manchurians and crispy fries. Not spicy not bland just the perfect taste.
Just less one star because the place is quite hard to find people usually get confused between the lane and not located perfectly on map.
Would suggest to use glowing board to display the name of the restaurant. It would be more easier to find out or locate.
Place is located near Kanakia cinemax.
It's not on main Road.

The States serves the purpose of a family restaurant very aptly. I believe, the ambiance doesn't qualify to be a criterion of judging a family restaurant as the ultimate aim is to have some quality family time. They do have good music which doesn't really distort the conversation. The interiors are decent.
Our attendant for the dinner was Mr. Mirza Sabir Ali. He eased out the selection process with his inputs and made sure that everything is well in line with our requirements. Thumps up for his services!
The menu has enormous North Indian options.
We tried the following dishes -
"Paneer Ke Sholay" - the spices and the subtle presence of yoghurt, along with the side salad, gnarled our taste buds for good. It was marinated well but the paneer was slightly over cooked.
"Balti Saufiyan Baluchi Sabzi" - this dish is served in a bucket as, named. The veggies and the spices catalyzed the dish as a whole. This was indeed toothsome.
"Veg Haveli" - the uncanny fusion of paneer and cheese along with Indian spices filled us with wonderment. This is extremely filling and tastes delicious. Even the sizzling fragrance was enrapturing.
"Paneer Takatak" - this was ordinary and we weren't happy with the size of the portion.
Even the Naans and the Rotis served were roasted well. The restaurant seems to be very meticulous about the presentation and the taste. Also, there's no stagnation of oil which is gratifying.
4 stars!
P.s: most of the things are produced inhouse (eg - schezwan chutney) and everything in the menu is available in Jain as well.
The sizzlers I had were excellent.. quantity was also more than sufficient. The ambience is fabulous. I would definitely wish to recommend this restaurant to all............................

The States located near PVR cinemas in Mira Road, Mira Bhayandar. Visited recently with family to celebrate my brother's birthday.
Loved the place and Food. It is a complete package with treat to eyes (beautiful decor), ears (slow music), tongue (tasty food) and tummy (hygiene food)
We ordered as
Starters :
Multani Mushroom : Prepared using Mushroom caps stuffed with cheese and coated with wheat making it healthy
Jalapeno Cheese Corn Balls : Prepared with Potato, Cheese, Jalapeno and Corn deep fried making it yummy and crunchy
Main course:
Balti Saufiyan Baluchi Sabzi as name says was served in balti cooked in Saufiyan style included baby corn, mushrooms, mix veggies prepared in dill leaves making it mouth watering along with Butter Roti and Naan. Followed by delicious Veg Nizami Biryani accompanied by fresh and sweet Raita.
Ended with dessert as food is never complete without dessert and there is always extra room for it.
Serves only Veg food! Jain Food Available! Worth Money! Accept Zomato Gold!
Actually when I reached this place I was a bit sceptical if the place was actually up to the mark as per the reviews I read n decided to come here. But as I leave I can say I have tasted the best of Veg Food after a long time

Food was excellent we had their chef Sizzler and we found to be good and it taste was good. The service was good and polite staff. Our only request to maintain this standard forever.
A pure veg restaurant with good ambiance for family dinners. We tried The States signature sizzler and trust me it was worth the money. The taste was very good and the quantity was enough for 2-3 people. This was our first time at the restaurant and we enjoyed the food. We haven't tried more dishes but yes they have different varieties in their menu to serve if you are a veggie

Easy to find and the ambience is decent as well. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Service was very nice.
What we had :
▪️Logan Kebab & Veggie Mix - Taste was nice but it felt a bit dry.
▪️Paneer Takatak - Paneer was fresh and the gravy was spicy and tasty. Would highly recommend this.
▪️Veg Crispy - Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way it should be and absolutely delicious as well..😋
▪️Corn Malai Seek - Presentation was very good on this one, but disappointed in terms of taste. The flavour of cardamon was very overwhelming.
▪️Paneer Khurchan - Soft chunks of paneer in a delicious red gravy which was nicely spiced.
▪️Balti Saufiyan Deewani Subzi - Mix vegetables in a medium spicy gravy which was infused with the flavour of fennel seeds. Didn't live up to the name for us.
▪️Roti ki Tokri (Butter) - An assortment of 5 types of Indian breads. Nothing special or anything to complain about here.
One complaint we had is that there were mosquitoes bothering us.
But overall a pretty decent place to visit in Mira Road.

The States is a very good upcoming restaurant in Mira Road- Bhayander. This place is quite small but food is toothsome. I ordered paneer tikka sizzler, logan pepper and vegetable mix and Cantonese fried rice. All of them very tasty in their own way. I personally do think that they should start desserts and mocktails too; it was the only missing thing

The food was awesome wether it be starters or main course......staff was polite and the service was also nice. The interior was also very peaceful only the issue was they were playing old songs. Hope that next time they take care of it.

We had been here on a Sunday evening and the place was packed with visitors. The restaurant has a good ambience and the interiors are quite decent.
Pros:
We had ordered Veg Galouti Kebab, Paneer Take Tak and Veg Fried Rice going by others recommendation on ZOMATO and it did not fail us. The food is really good and portion for fried rice was also very good. The quantity of the sabji was a bit on lower side which could be improved.
Cons:
1. The service was quite slow due to a very limited number of waiters.
2. The air conditioning was very bad and due to the rush, it feels uncomfortable after sometime.
But I believe the cons can easily be managed and you should definitely try this place!

This is my first visit to the restaurant..was planning to explore this place from many days and finally im here. Interior of the restaurant is quit good. Went there when it just started. Surprised on Day 1, Zomato gave it 4+ rating. All crowd belonged to Zomato Gold membership. But food was ok. Soup had foul smell, asked them to change, they replaced it.

Headed to this place on Sunday evening. The place was full so we had to wait for 10 to 15 mins and after that, we finally got the seat.
Ambience and service.
This place was small with simple decoration. Seats were not managed properly if they managed properly they would have got more tables to arrange. A good place to go with family not recommended if you are going for a date. Service was damn slow. They were lacking managing skills may be they get improved by the time. Zomato gold worked very smoothly.
The food we ordered
Veg Galouti kebab: We ordered this dish based on zomato review. It was soft and very tasty though the quantity was not up to the mark, the dish was perfect. It was served with salad and chutney.
Jalapeno cheese corn balls: A big no this dish. I will never ever recommend this dish to anyone. It was the first time I was trying this started and it was the worst experience. They only served us a bread crumb balls with a little bit if corns and chilly pieces that's it. High not recommended.
Masala cheese papad: It was good in taste. It was very cheesy.
Paneer musallam: Paneer cubes served in a red thick gravy with a perfect blend of spices. Not too spicy not too sweet it was perfect. Paneer was fresh and soft. The quantity was good enough to serve three people easily. Accompanied with butter roti.
Jeera rice and dal tadka: People want to have light food can blindly order this. The consistency of the dal was medium thick with perfect tadka on it of garlic, chilly and ginger. Again quantity was good enough with the awesome taste.
Overall a good experience. Apart from service and jalapeno cheese corn balls nothing was disappointing. Value for money. One must definitely try this place.

One of the best family restaurant in Mira road. I especially loved the sizzler and the service. Sizzler was amazing and quite complete. It was too much for 2 person to complete. The roti basket was also good. Overall nice ambience. I also loved the discount on mocktails. At 90 we got 2 mocktails. If they give such cheap mocktails I'll definitely come again.
The ambience was very good and soothing. Had lots of artificial plants and had peaceful music. Good place for family visit. We ordered for Veg Kolhapuri and bread basket as well.

Day by day the road which was empty and its like traffic jam. Just wait for 15 to 20 mins promise u will get the best taste best services and better quality of food. We visited today the States restaurant for the first time. Our experience was awesome. To begin with ambience, it was very innovative, pleasing and natural. This restaurant offers only vegetarian and Jain cuisine. Restaurant serves lunch, dinner beside catering to Birthday, Anniversary & Kitty parties. It offers great variety of innovative Indian cuisines which we really liked. Waiters are very polite and service is very fast. The owner Mr. Harshal owner of this restaurant personally seeks the feedback from patrons about the cuisines and the services. There is also Punjabi music playing in the background. There is enough parking space for few cars infront of this restaurant. This restaurant accepts payment by Credit Card, PAYTM and cash. One can also order food from here using Swiggy and Zomato. Restaurant timings are 11:30 AM to 12:00 midnight. Overall a decent restaurant to enjoy once Lunch and dinner with family.

I had ordered for The State's signature Sizzler. It was superb. Me and my wife both could not finish the entire sizzler. The paneer (5 different flavours) was awesome. Mushrooms were too good and for first time we had a sizzler with a concept of punjabi taste along with kulcha.
Ambience is nice with soft romantic music decently lit and comfortable spacious sitting. Overall very good experience 👍🏼

The states is North Indian and Chinese vegetarian restaurant in Mira road. I was skeptical about it while entering the place. However, all the dishes were just awesome. We tried Hakka noodles, Veg Manchurian, Multani Mushrooms, Balti Sufiyan kofta kadhi and Jeera rice. Multani Mushrooms are highly recommended. Kadhi, wasn't very tasty. It was just fine. Also, it din't look like kadhi, it was more like a veg gravy.
