Sunset is quite a old restaurant at caddle road. We use to swear about their taste and quantity back then when it was always a favorite hangout and go to place for teens. Recently they had renovated and created that much wanted ambiance but the seating capacity was affected by that and its again back to normal killing all the ambiance and an enhanced seating capacity. The taste is not as great as it used to be then but still good than most of nearby Chinese restaurants. Quantity is good and prices are OK.
We order for our the favorite lollipop masala and it turned out to be awesome. Along with that we tried the Manchurian rice and Pot rice which was good too. Brother suggested me to try their Vicky's chicken which is my order for next visit. overall a good place for Chinese food which earns it a 3.5

One of my favourite places to have Chinese food, Sunset is located at Mahim, just 5 five minutes away from Shivaji Park.
I ordered Chicken Lung Fung soup, Chicken Manchow soup, Chicken Triple rice, Oriental Fried rice, Chicken Hong Kong rice.
The food is really delicious and Chinese food lover must visit the restaurant to have the Lung Fung soup and Oriental fried rice.
The place is bit small but the tables are well arranged which makes the ambience soothing.
I love Chinese so one of my friend recommended me this Chinese restaurant which is located at Mahim near Hinduja hospital so gave a visit one day and seriously we loved the crispy chicken which was for 250 and the quality and the quantity was also too Good for two and then we had Triple chicken rice which was also for 250 and good in taste and main thing about this restaurant is they server the gravy separate they don't mix it and give and the ambience is also too Good specially those small lightings must go during the night time and it's a small place and it won't damage your pocket too.The staff is also too friendly.
Best Chinese... Try Triple shezwan Rice or Noodles it's awesome & Quantity is like in a single triple order 3 ppl can eat... The taste of the shezwan sauce is the best in the locality...

One of the worst experience I ever had.
I ordered a chicken starter and Chicken triple, I stay in Dadar. I took them around 1.30 hrs to deliver the parcel. The rice was uncooked, no taste, no sign of noodles in triple, About starter chicken was uncooked and quality was disgusting. In future, I would recommend my friends never to order from here.
Place is small, however do not judge based on that....the food is awesome...it is super tasty that can even put big restaurants to shame....order anything and it would be 100% delicious. Also very affordable...value for money. Do try!!

Sunset Chinese restaurant is actually near my home. Sunset is the best Chinese restaurant in my area. And the sunsets Chinese taste is awesome. I loved specially chicken cryspy, damm the chicken cryspy quality and quantity is amazing. I love this. And Singapore triple rice is also good.

this place is close to my home. recently i visited sunset with my friends. i ordered singapore chicken rice. the quantity and taste was awesome.
And i ordered food from them at home. i ordered tripple schezwan rice.
So I went to this place on a friends recommendation. And I love it. So tasty and yet so pocket friendly. I have tried chicken triple schezwan rice, Hakka noddles, chicken crispy, chicken manchurian, veg schezwan rice here. All the dishes are extremely yummy. This is one of the practical go to place for Chinese food. The quantity is good too. Ambience is fine. Service is nice. Would rate this place a 4.5.
nice place to be in. good quantity and quality. with good ambience as it is renovated now. full ac restaurant. tough the space is less. hardly 6-8 tables. it is located on the highway so its convenient to grab awesome food on the go. in terms of taste it is good ders no awesome factor. ideal for family, frdz and couples.
This restaurant is kinda okok because the food over here is too pricey! The Ambience is improving over the time but even the rates... But the quality of the product is getting low!! From frequently ordering from here TO not at all ordering from here became my Moto!! If I get a chance I will do visit here again..to test the food!! All the best Sunset team!

Intrigued by this place after passing by on many occasions...i finally called in for dinner on a Sunday night. A confused person on the other end who probably passed on the phone to 2 others and eventually my order was accepted. Roasted chicken chilly dry and chicken fried rice...my staple. Zeroed in on the roasted chicken after salivating on some of the pics posted online for the same....unfortunately the restaurant folks just couldn't guide about the dishes. Anyways after a little over an hour it reached and i was super happy...it looked like i had wished it would....the perfect layer of oil,roasted chicken chunks,green chillies and garlic galore!!! I had my quintessential Chindian chilli chicken...the way i loved it the most...superrrr spicy! The fried rice was great too....no kanjoosi in the chicken or egg. Sunset chinese made me very very happy. We all need a regular Chinese joint...to satisfy those sasta but accha food cravings and after my childhood place shut shop after all those years...i think I'm now ready to move on and find happiness again :) :)
Quantity of dishes is very good. 2 people can share dish properly. After renovation and AC installed it helps to try hot dishes as they served, no need to worry about Mumbai heat.
This place is renovated and have done some cost upgrades as well , less quantity and more price. For ex : the triple rice had so much quantity for one person , that we needed to order half but now they have made half as full and kept the price same as full. Disappointed.
Going to the good part , the lollipops are still good and the taste is the same :) Do try the triple though
Its a small restaurant located in Mahim on Cadell road.They have recently renovated this place as previously it used to be a small simple Chinese Gala but the consistency of taste is still same.I am a big chinese food lover and trust me dis place serves awesome Chinese food.The quality, quantity and the pricing everythn at its best.Nothing to complaint, their Soups,Starters,Maincourse everything is jus amazing.I jus love dis place.

Previously this place wasn't a favourite nor was it preferred. But ever since it's been renovated a new demand has got this place back up to it's feet.
I usually have food delivered home. And this time we got our food within half an hour which was really surprising. And yet very impressed.
We ordered food for around 2 people, but the food which was also recommended by the person taking my order it was sufficient for around 3 people.
Here is what we ordered.
Starters
LOLLIPOP - Good crunch and cooked well.
CHILLY CHICKEN DRY- It's somthing they don't go wrong with. Really loved the balance of flavour and spiciness.
Main Course
MALAYSIAN FRIED RICE ( Chicken) - Now here was a suggestion given by the person taking my order over phone. I was really impressed as he did recommend something I hadn't tried. The quantity and taste was really good.
CHICKEN MANCHURIAN GRAVY- Again a dish you can't go wrong. A favourite and the combination along with Malaysian Rice was really good.
Will definitely be ordering from again.
The outlet is located right next to our society. This is how we came across this and thought of trying the food. We have ordered twice from the place, and haven't been disappointed both the times.
We ordered oyster Chicken with chicken fried rice. It was simply amazing. Though the outlet serves indianized Chinese, but the flavours wood match those of a big outlet. The quantity is quite sumptuous and more than enough for two people.
Would definitely recommend a try! Looking to explore more options from the outlet 😊

I wanted to eat some quick chinese food when I found this while on my way home.
Along with my friend who preferred vegeterian for that particular day we made a odd combination of A Veg Triple Sechewan Rice along with Chicken Hunan as the main course.
The rice was wisely cooked each grain seperated and the spices were rightfully added along with some spring onion.
The gravy served along with the rice was quite tempting and proved to be a moreish sides.
The Chicken Hunan was lush and held some fresh tender pieces of chicken which were moist and juicy served along with thick gravy, though the garlic pieces were visible if ignored the dish was a complete treat for my mouth.
All in all a small chinese corner serving good chinese food.
Must try.
Earlier Sunset was a similar to Cheap Chinese stalls which are all over Mumbai but recently got renovated and its complete different now. The ambience is very good with peaceful environment music playing in the background with very slow volume. It's a very small place located opposite De bella cafe one of the best in budget Chinese Outlets near Shivaji park and Mahim. Good Place to go with friends for Chinese Hogging. The Pricing isn't that Expensive Value for Money with a good air-conditioning. Their Starters and Main course were brilliant it had a amazing taste. We tried Chicken Manchu to Rice which comes with a Soup gravy it was brilliant in taste. Quantity was Good Enough the soup was amazing.. The Service was quick a good. If you are around dadar mahim area near shivaji park and want some good Chinese this place is recommended. Go for it

Sunset Chinese mahim is a great place ...recently refurbished. .its fully air conditioned n now has music too! The menu has been made new with an addition of desserts and soda..so now one can have a full meal and be satisfied. It is not pricey like the other local restaurants..The place is pocket friendly. It gets crowded in the evenings so I suggest u get there early and get yourself a table.

Decent Chinese food joint on Cadell road next to Hinduja hospital. Ordered Crispy chicken and triple chicken shezwan noodles. Quantity wise it is perfect for 2 ppl, infact on the higher side of sufficient. Taste wise it matches the price and decor. Will sure try other items. One thing I hate about some restaurants is, if hey have a Pepsi fridge you will not get Coke products and I am more of a Thumbs Up guy if I drink softdrinks. All in all there is no disappointment and you can surely try.
We ordered one chicken dish and one veg. Noodles dish, the test was really good compared to my past experiences. The service also was good.
Only ambiance need improvement, else we love the food.

Excellent food. At a rate where 3 people can relish stomach filling appetite for 800-900 . Worth really.worth. and it's not just amount but the taste and quality too is upto the mark. Hope they don't change the quality , quantity and most importantly rate too.
Good and quality food. Quiet expensive but not very much. Means if two people takes a starter and main course with some cold drinks then your bill will easily touch to 600 Rs. But highly recommended.

Food Quality was awesome. Located between Hinduja Hospital Mahim and Shivaji Park Dadar. A nice place to have a quick bite or a full fledged meal. Soup was wonderful and Chicken Lollipop was fresh and tasty.... Prices were reasonable considering post covid times.... Recommended.

They have approx 25 seating capacity.They only serve Chinese and the taste is really awesome. You must try Chicken Chopper Rice I really loved the taste. Value for Money.

Dragon rolls are awesome. Food is tasty. It's better to take-away as the place has too many mosquitoes. Any dish you buy will easily serve two people.
