The Bun Bistro is a cute little cafe opened in kandivali, though this place has limited seating but looks promising with their great variety of buns, fries and milkshakes. As their are many joints opened providing the same food pattern, this place has made an excellent attempt to come up with something unique and healthy too. It just feels so good when you sink your teeth into the fluffiest and crisp layer of the sweet and savoury buns here. We had Herb and Cheese Burst Savoury Bun which was and oven fresh bun stuffed with herbs and cheese with a savoury taste indeed. Next we had Red Velvet and Cream Cheese Bun- baked bun filled with white cream and topped with cheese cream and red velvet crumbles.Lastly we had Dark and White Chocolate Bun which was just too yumm and delightful! Satisfactory to the sweet tooth. Highly recommended for all foodies out there!

They have 2 outlets , this one is good compare to the 2nd outlet .
The Ambience is Classy, and the service is also is good . For all bun lovers it is heaven , They have unique variety. Not only in bun but also in Milkshakes and fries .
I had Chocolate bun which was really good . Delicious bun topped with chocolate sauce , also I had Chocolate milkshake and French fries . Chocolate milkshake is must have , it was awesome .
Over all I had good experience at the bun bistro , food was nice . This place is quite small compare to others , but the food quantity and service both are nice .

This new place is serving Amazing Hot Buns in delicious flavours. This place has great interiors and pleasant ambience. And also it smells like buns 😋. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. We ordered
1. RED VELVET CRUMBLE & CREAM CHEESE. It was topped with cream cheese and red velvet crumbles. Not only that but it was filled with too much of cream cheese making it delicious. RECOMMENDEDED
2. COOKIE AND CREAM. It was topped with cream and cookie crumbles and was filled with lots of cream. Just amazing.
3. DARK & WHITE CHOCOLATE. It was topped with white chocolate and dark chocolate and was filled with dark chocolate on the inside.
4. CLASSIC NUTELLA. It was overloaded with Nutella on the top as well as inside. Divine.
5. CARAMEL AND CUSTARD. It was topped with caramel and custard and filled with lots of custard making it finger licking. RECOMMENDED.

Bun Bistro. The newest addition to the amazing food street of Mahavir Nagar in Kandivali west and the other branch is in Thakur Village in Kandivali east.
The words kind of makes one feel what is this related with?. Just buns? What is in these buns that make it different? .....But to our surprise this was the most awesomest place even though small where one can eat at heart's content.
This place offers you special savory buns and dessert buns along with beverages. Their menu is small and limited but the taste of each bun is colossal.
The savory buns especially the soya bolognaise and the cheese and herb are marvelous and made with ingredients that make the perfect taste and flavourful.
For dessert buns, if you like a little sour and sweet taste i would strongly recommend you to try dark chocolate and orange and for the ones who just love any dessert go with red velvet which is absolutely smooth and velvety.
The experience was truly scrumptious. A 10/10 for this restaurant.

🆕 Another new place recently being opened in Mahavir Nagar. There are alot of new outlets being opened in Mahavir nagar and the competition has increased over there.
🔶 This bun bistro is giving a tough competition to the others outlets out there. Talking about the place, its really small but worth visiting. Hardly 6-7 people can sit together.
They also have outdoor seating with such a great ambience.
🔷 The Staff members are really great. The person who guided us throughout the time was really helpful and Humble. I consider hospitality over the dishes they serve. I believe ambience and hospitality can make you go up.
🔰 The bun which they serve are really an unique item which I have seen and had for the first time. And I would say that I'm really impressed by it. It was very great and amazing.
📛 Talking about the food, they present it in a great manner. The bun usually is like a donut shape made up of flour and accordingly flavoured with cheese and pasta whatever you order as such. They does not have great variety in menu but I would say though they provide limited menu but they are absolutely Awesome.

1. NUTELLA HAZELNUT CRUNCH
This was very thick milkshake with the base of nutella and crunch pieces of hazelnut.
2. BROWNIE MILKSHAKE - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
A complete brownie chocolate with the thick layers and lines of chocolate which you can literally see from outside the jar.
3. PAV BHAJI BUN - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
A Bun served with the bhaji and this was so delicious. It wouldn't taste less than a normal pav bhaji. ❤
4. DARK WHITE CHOCOLATE
It was a dessert bun with two layers of dark and white chocolate.
5. RED VELVET CREAM CHEESE BUN - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
You couldn't miss out this bun if you are fond of desset. Red velvet flavoured bun with cream cheese and too delicious 😍

We tried the Herb and Cheese Roti Bun and the Chocolate Oreo Shake. The Roti Bun was soft and warm with the perfect amount of cheese! A savoury Bun is one of a kind and here you can surely aim at relishing these. They also have sweet buns in flavours like Nutella, Strawberry and more.
The Oreo Shake was crunchy and chocolaty. They also offer a large variety in shakes.
Our experience was good considering they serve 100% vegetarian roti buns which is one of a kind!

We tried their Red Velvet dessert bun and the Pav bhaji savoury buns which were good both in quantity and taste wise. Could not stop drooling over the red velvet bun as we enjoyed their Brownie shake along with it.
The Bun Bistro, located in Mahavir Nagar is known for their variety of savoury and sweet roti buns.
With a seating capacity of about 15 people, this outlet really knows how to tantalize tastebuds!
WHAT I ATE:
1) RED VELVET CRUMBLE BUN: Freshly baked roti bun oozing white chocolate loaded with a topping of red velvet crumble. Absolutely delicious!

2) CHEESE AND HERB BUN: One of their hot selling savoury buns. Crisp on the outside and the hollow inside was filled with a cheese and herb bake. Wow!

The shakes that are available are nothing extraordinary to look forward to, however they will help you wash down your guilt, with more sugar. ;)
All in all, an innovative experience if you're looking for a quick snack and are bored of the usual street food that is available on every street corner.

Red velvet crumbled bun: This is from the dessert buns and it was very aromatic, loved how they serve you freshly baked buns. This was filled with a filling condensed milk and had sprinkles of red vevelt crumbs
Cheese and herb: This is from the savoury buns, this bun was crisp and was filled with Cheese and herbs again full points for the aroma, the filling was actually good and I really enjoyed the idea
Hazelnut shake: Its quite a normal regular milk shake nothing special, a drink you that would compliment your buns.
Service was nice
But the place is very small

This quaint little place has newly opened up! Was really impressed with the dessert variations and so decided to give it a try with a friend. We ordered for Red Velvet Cream Cheese and Orange Dark Chocolate flavors to taste. Mighty impressed with the Orange Dark Chocolate, perfect balance of the sour Orange flavour and mixing it with Dark Chocolate made it extremely good to eat. The service was relatively quick. They also have savoury flavors as well as other items such a fries and shakes which you can try out. Would I like to visit again? Yes!

Mahavir Nagar is nothing less than a paradise for foodies and the newest addition to this area is "The Bun Bistro". The place is known for its amazing range of savoury & dessert roti buns. Typically the place serves buns, fries and milkshakes but unfortunately they have discontinued fries at this particular outlet..
Coming to the ambience, it is a nice little cosy place with limited seating arrangement.. Staff is quite warm and helpful.. Also the place is pocket friendly!
Coming to what we had :
- Pav Bhaji Bun : Mumbai style tasty & flavorful bhaji stuffed in the center of delicious and fluffy roti bun.. Must try!!
- Herb & Cheese Burst : Savoury bun filled with melting hot mozzarella coated with garlic and herbs.. I liked the stuffing but it was a little dry overall..
- Dark & White Chocolate Dessert Bun : Totally droolworthy, the bun is filled with loads of chocolate and then topped with the chocolate sauces to give the ultimate chocolatey feel!!
- For milkshakes we tried Brownie milkshake and Nutella & hazelnut crunch milkshake.. Loved both of them!

Newly opened small lil cafe in the lane just opposite Croma, beside Pure milk centre.
They have indoor and outdoor seating.
The deliverables looked pretty interesting so we went on to try it on a cozy weekend evening.
Here's what we tried:
Creamy mushroom Bun - Mushroom cooked in a creamy sauce and stuffed inside a bun. I think the sauce should have been more because it gets a Lil dry when you eat with the bun as the bun absorbs the sauce.
Cheese and herb Bun - Super Cheesy ! Bun filled with Cheese and herbs and baked to perfection. 5/5
Red velvet Bun - Dessert Buns are a must, thought to give a try to this one. Filled with cream cheese and topped with Red velvet crumbles. Not too sweet.
Paired with these shakes, Served in Cute Glass Jars which you can take home.
Oreo milkshake- Thick milkshake with rich taste of Oreo.
Nutella and Hazelnut- Every sip had a taste of nutella and hazelnut. MUST ORDER.

It's an easy to miss, tiny & cute outlet at Mahavir Nagar. Green walls and contrasting blue door have an appeal of it's own. It's a really small space accommodating only 2 tables inside & 1 outside.
FOOD
They have EGGLESS BUNS and that's something that even Papa Roti doesn't have!
They have variety in both sweet & savoury buns and it couldn't help but try both kinds.

🔺Bun Bistro is one such outlet which serves dessert & savoury buns originated from Dubai. Till now , we just had PappaRoti which gave us a bun experience in Mumbai , but now The Bun Bistro is one such affordable outlet which served eggless buns and at relatively lower prices.
🔺The outlet is located in Mahavir Nagar , just besides Krishna Pan Shop & Pure Milk Centre and is growing at an amazing speed because of their Re.1 offer.
🔺Management is good. Although , we faced a miscommunication issue and had to wait for almost 30 mins , but later on , the issue was sorted and everything went good.

Overall I did like this place I won't over exaggerate it...but it's definitely worth a visit!

As the market is full of same food pattern going on in sweet side, here is The Bun Bistro who made such an good attempt to come up with a healthy options.
Kandivli Mahavir nagar is the hub as a food paradise for me and so this outlet is being making its footprint into the competitive market.
I really appreciate that they have gone ahead then the options running as a common thing everywhere.
THE BUN BISTRO opening doors on 3rd July, 2018 in Kandivli-w, Mumbai.
There are a wide range of different types of buns, fries & shakes and all ready to get things crazy in here.
With one outlet already in Kandivali, the new outlet at Mahavir Nagar is all prim, proper and ready to serve all.
100% vegetarian and signature roti buns are here to take your taste buds on a BunTastic ride.
The magic begins when you sink your teeth into the fluffiness and the crispy layer of our sweet and savoury buns made with quality flour.
And so how can I not go and have these.
Let’s start from the beginning, the outlet looks very appealing from outside.
As you step in you find it has outdoor sitting and moving ahead indoor space of food ordering and side by walls having a place to place your plate and have food standing or on the higher tables.
Yet there is no indoor sitting so far.
But outdoor sitting is also something one need to have especially in this rainy season it gives a very good feeling to enjoy food and watch out rains.
Just need to work more on lights for outdoor, though the lights are good enough but still to capture good quality of pictures to flaunt social media :-P
Okay that was an overview about the outlet, now let’s have the food here.
Started with Alphonso Mango shake (yes we have mango still in season).
This shake is served in a jar bottle which is actually good to even travel with.
It is a glass jar bottle and looks very cute and handy.
And we have paper straw trending with beautiful designs on it which ads an extra glam.
In taste wise it is very pure and i appreciate that they have not opt in adding any artificial flavoring to enhance the natural taste.
It is like vanilla at the first sip but has a good mango after taste.
Sugar contain is also proper, not very sweety, just right.
The next we have is Red Velvet Bun.
And just look at the picture you will definitely fall in love with this bun.
It actually reminds me of my old school days where i used to have sweet buns and tutti-futti buns.
But this Red Velvet bun is a total surprise in the bun world.
They have actually made an attempt and shown that these are better options to go healthy.
And bun can be made a good choice by these lovely flavors to it which we never even thought of.
Again a good taste in the sweet side, not too sweet just right.
I personally do not like things which are over sweet ans this was perfect.
There are many more options to choose from.
Then after we have is a Pav Bhaji at next level.
Eating pav bhaji in a plate daily makes you feel boor ?
The here is the new interesting twist to it.
Here even pav bhaji are up with new concept.
They are served in the bun.
Have you ever thought of having normal looking pav bhaji to this extend ?
By its look, it is also delicious by its taste.
Recommend you to give it try.
There is a surprise in every buns they have, the taste.
And to talk about the dine in-take away.
So The Bun Bistro has a set serving for all orders.
You ordered the food for dine-in and changed the plan of not sitting here then no need to worry about going the counter again and ask then to make it take away.
The food is served in such a way that you can sit and enjoy the food at the outlet or just simply collect your order and step out to what place you find it perfect to enjoy the food.

So the food was 5/5, the buns were spongy, soft, freshly baked and the stuffing was fresh and tasty.
The place looked pleasant, but since it’s small it gets crowded quickly, but the overall decor was pretty and soothing.
The people were nice to talk to, the staff, they were interactive and took good care of us.
The bun was fascinating to look at, and was a new and innovative concept. It’s easy to take away, and is good enough for a meal.
The milkshake was very nice, it was creamy and fresh. I ordered a brownie milkshake and it had crumbs of brownie which made it better, and it was presented in a fascinating jar.
The best part, they have both Savory and Sweet buns so you can choose depending on your mood.
The Savory bun I ordered was The cheese and Herb and the Creamy Mushroom, the Mushroom was some kind of filling I’ve never tasted before. It left me wanting more. The cheese and herb, although sounds like a common thing, it tasted yummy, with the combination of two types of cheese and herbs mixed
The sweet bun I chose was caramel custard. With a crisp top , the bun had sauces all over, dripping, and a filling of the same inside. This was a little heavier and one could be consumed by two people.
The only shortcoming was their address. Google Maps show a completely wrong address, hence making it very difficult to find. Also, considering that it would be consumed mostly by teens, we operate on a limited budget, so it’s a little overpriced for that cause it’s ₹164 inc. of taxes.
The concept of the place is to scoop out the bun and add a filling of your choice, making it new and exciting to try. Buns are commonly interpreted as boring cause most people relate to them as the burger buns, making this place special and unique in its own ways.
I had visited Kandivali East branch of The Bun Bistro earlier. I happened to visit this branch as I won a contest which was held on the instagram page of the outlet. The contest got me and my friend buns for free. This branch of The Bun Bistro is way too spacious as compared to the Kandivali East branch. There are arrangements made to sit inside and eat. The staff is very friendly and greeted us as soon as we entered. The service is also quick. I tried the Classic Nutella bun and Red Velvet Crumble and Cream Cheese.
Classic Nutella: It had a lot of nutella fillings and was topped with almonds. I loved the Nutella drooling out of the bun as we took a bite. Nutella never disappoints.
Red Velvet Crumble and Cream Cheese: This is a must try for all the red velvet lovers. This bun tasted really amazing.
I look forward to visit this branch again as it is situated in the famous “Khau Galli” of Mahavir Nagar. I am thankful for the wonderful experience.

What an interesting Place with Delicious Food which has opened at Kandivali !!
It has come come up with freshly baked buns and they are served hot and fresh 😍
So they have Two varieties of Buns i.e Dessert Buns & Savoury Buns
We tried both of them
The Red Velvet bun was spongy soft and Yummilicious stuffed with Chocolate & Red Velvet ❤
The Herb & Cheese was Cheesilious containing lots of Cheese 🧀

Another new place in Mahavir Nagar but this time is something new and interesting.Bistro Bun the new place in Kandivali West and East(thakur village) offers range of innovative food which is gonna be new to the Kandivali crowd. As the name suggest they offer different types of bun and dessert buns. The buns are made by themselves and owner is real friendly.

The bun bistro located at kandiwali West , Have good variety and a place to have good experience.
They have 2 outlets , this one is good compare to the 2nd outlet .
The Ambience is Classy, and the service is also is good . For all bun lovers it is heaven , They have unique variety. Not only in bun but also in Milkshakes and fries .
I had Chocolate bun which was really good . Delicious bun topped with chocolate sauce , also I had Chocolate milkshake and French fries . Chocolate milkshake is must have , it was awesome .
Over all I had good experience at the bun bistro , food was nice . This place is quite small compare to others , but the food quantity and service both are nice .

This is one of the many outlets located in Mahavir Nagar. The ambience is quite decent and cosy. There are about 3-4 tables here and it's a little surprising considering that it was a weekend. Anyway, coming to the food we wanted to try something different and we liked what we ate especially the mushroom with bread coating. The staff was very cordial and answered all our queries with a smile. Do visit this place if you want to try something different. Mind you it's a vegetarian joint.

I feel there’s nothing more dreamy & artistic than Bistro filled with freshly baked buns and having a red velvet bun floating in white cream cheese on your plate!
I’d this Red Velvet Crumble & Cream Cheese Bun at The Bun Bistro, while coming home from work. A small but very pleasant and cozy joint with friendly staff, in the heart of Mahavir Nagar, Kandivali (W).
Any bun lover here? Must visit place for Buntastic experience guys!
Awesome bun I had cookie and cream bun it was so mouth watering I got the bun for Rs 1 only as there was a offer going on in short I would recommend all to go there and have a try awesome place and quick service
