Shen Te's has given us quite a few memorable cakes in the past 8 years. Be it a fruit cake which we absolutely adore or death by chocolate that is just exquisite. But in all these years consistency has been key, we always got the bar they set at the very start.

I had brought a cake from Shen Te's for my birthday on 23rd, a mixed fruit cake. Which was really fresh trust me and it was tasty too. As an employee from corporate they gave me a discount and some home made toffees as well... I was so happy😇😁 and satisfied with my purchase. This is very near to my house and my best spot for cakes. This place is the best for fresh cakes in Malad West. I have been ordering cakes from this outlet from couple of years. There are many cake shop in this vicinity but no one can beat Shen Te's taste. Secret of this cake shop is like they make on the spot fresh cakes and deliver. If you give them time they will surely surprise you with their service. They also have Lott of varieties and they can even customize cakes as per request. That's amazing.

I have ordered Fresh Mango cake, Gulab Jamun, Red velvet cake and they are best. They also pack properly and deliver. You can have their cake for almost 3 days and they serve to be fresh till that time. I would highly recommend patrons to order cakes from here for any occasion on a shoe string budget.

Being a resident of Malad West and a complete dessertarian, I'm always in hunt of chocolate desserts in our vicinity.
Having found Shen Te's on Zomato, if you happen to visit their cake shop for the first time you may have a lot of preconceived notions about their store. It is a small shop located in a narrow lane, off Malad link road.
Being my mother's birthday, I ordered a 1 kg Nutella Death by Chocolate. It is a delicious combination of a perfectly moist chocolate cake and a sweet, inviting Nutella icing, all covered in chocolate ganache.
Moreover, the presentation and packaging was so point, we were travelling out of Mumbai and the cake remained pristine. Also to add it was very fresh and in consumable condition even after 2 days.
Not forgetting to mention about their excellent delivery service as well. Way to go team Shen Te's. I'm definitely ordering soon again.
We have Ordered Shen Te's cake atleast 20 times in last year. They have some amazing flavors and the cakes are really juicy and creamy. The Death by Clocolate Brownie cake are awesome, heat them up in the microwave and its gone in less than 5 minutes!
Yummy cakes...Death by chocolate silk, death chocolate nutella and the fudge cake are to die for. And the waffle desert are delicious, you can play games while eating your mouth watering deserts
I ordered their choco chip overload cake. It was delicious. The flavor was just perfect. Not too sweet not too chocolaty. The cake looked damn pretty. Checkout the picture 😊 Their almond fudge cake is awesome as well. If you plan to order a cake for any birthdays or farewells, definitely give them a try!

One of the best places serving egg-less cakes. The variety is good as well. We have ordered cakes from this place for many of our office parties, each time a different cake, and they have all been unique in taste and a treat for the eyes.

Good cake's... available.. I did order the Nutella cake it's really good... however we did order a red velvet cake the cake didn't have a cream cheese frosting and it didn't taste up-to the mark.. the basic requirements for a cake base were missing
Shen Te’s are really good at baking cakes.. their cakes are so delicious and mouth watering that even if you are not a chocolate lover you’ll still love it and would want to have more!

I've heard about this place and was excited to visit Shen Te's... i tried their death by chocolate Pastry.... well the name says it all... the pastry tastes very yummm filled with loads of chocolate..!! One pastry is enough for 2 people..! being a chocolate cake lover i loved the cake..but the cake was tooo sweet... but over all it tastes good.

Wish fulfilled one fine day I happened to pass by the area and by luck saw this place immediately halted to satiate my long pending desire.
Needless to say they have the best chocolate pastries in town .
Tried the silk dairy milk pastry and the dark Belgium chocolate pastry.
Loved every bite of it the gooeyness , the fluffy sponge the right amount of sweetness .
Priced at 250₹ for two pastries ( quite steep than normal ) but once in a while is worth the indulgence .

Shen Te's is located on the link road in the lane opposite Toyota showroom. It is accurately available on Google Maps too hence easy to locate.
The menu is extensive with all the basic and exotic options of cakes available and is completely an eggless cake shop. Price wise it is at par with other cake brands. The best part is they can make any cake quickly so no pain of ordering it in advance.
The staff knows their menu well and are good in giving suggestions as per a persons liking.
The packing of the cake was perfect with candles and knife provided. Also complimentary chocolate cake balls were also given which tasted decent.

Half Kg Nutella Death By Chocolate Cake.
The moment i saw the cake i got worried as the presentation of the cake was messy so they really need to work on it.
The cake had thick layer of chocolate on the top with caramel drizzle and one layer in between had the Nutella hazelnut spread. The chocolate to cake ratio was outstanding. The chocolate tasted smooth and perfect. The cake was moist and it was sufficient enough to put my families chocolate craving on hold.
So Shen Te's cakes are amazing and are definitely worth a shot.

Shen Te's has now become our cake shop of choice every time we have an occasion in our office at Malad. We discovered Shen Te's through our very own Zomato about a month back and we are completely smitten by their cakes.
I have never visited the cake shop personally so cannot comment much from a venue point of view. Every time we call, the staff is quite friendly and helps us promptly place an order.
A must try is their chocolate and almond cake. The Swiss chocolate cake is super yummy too. The chocolate is really dense and the sponge is super moist. Trust me, you'll keep on craving for more...
I always feel that there is some amount of alcohol in the sponge in these chocolate cakes mentioned above. I have no objection to it, but it remains a mystery to be solved. It absolutely amazes me how good their cakes are. Price wise, on average, a half kilo cake is around Rs. 450.
Final piece of advice...stick to hardcore chocolate cakes when ordering from them. We recently ordered a strawberry and chocolate cake from them and weren't as pleased.
Overall, a definite must try. Keep up the quality guys...looking forward to placing my next order :)

Their best cake is Death by chocolate, as many of my fellow reviewers have also mentioned. Almost all of the chocolate based flavours are delicious. I first time tried their rich blueberry cake, however it wasn't that rich in blueberry. The good thing was that sugar content was optimum.
Please try the chocolate flavoured cakes for best experience. The delivery is quick too.

Should also have their fruit and chocolate cakes which are a good combo. Liked the mango and chocolate in this section.
You can always ask him for recommendations as he freshly prepares the cake in 20-30 mins or even lesser for the simpler cakes

Exotic Fruit Cake here what was ordered and the quality is good. The cake BASE and texture was soft and good flavours of fruit. It was amazing and the pricing was also fine. Recommended for cakes..

This is my absolute favorite cake shop in Malad.. Their service is fabulous and the cakes taste delicious... I order cakes for office functions from here now. From their delicious fresh cream mango cake, to the absolute decadent death by chocolate.. Drool.. I also ordered two baby shower cakes, a house warming cake and a cake for a friend's engagement and everyone raved about how delicious the cakes are.. They have recently opened a coffee shop next door and I can't wait to try that out too..mayur is extremely helpful and customer centric
Though this place did not come up in top searches of dessert places on Zomato, I happened to be arounnd this place and decided to give it a go. It was my boss's 10 years in office anniversary and obviously I wanted to get the best cake I could in Malad. And Shen Te's offered an interesting lot of options. The place also has many items for kid-parties like the minions shaped- and Doreamon-shaped cakes. Then there are party paraphernalia like confetti, snow in a can and cute little bags with little pieces of chocolates.
Only checked out the pastry section, didn't have time to explore the cafe but the place promised to be good. Will try to visit again.

Have to admit that Shen Te's have delicious cake with variety. Red Velvet is a must try. You have to wait for 15 to 20 minutes if your flavor is not available, but trust me it's worth waiting. Even their pastries are awesome.

It was my last day at work and i was been surprised by this Beautiful Cake, Fruit Wine Bottle and a Basket Full of Chocolates . It was a Strawberry Cake.. The Cake was soft and just so perfect to taste. My colleagues enjoyed having it and i was surprised with my picture and my favorite cartoon character picture on it. Thanks to my friend and Thank you for making such a lovely Cake.. Only Disappointment that my friend had, was over the delivering of Wine Bottle and chocolate basket. Shen Tes is a popular cake shop and i loved their cheese cake. ..word of caution you need to order the cheese cake atleast 6 hours in advance. The owner ( or thats who i thought he was) was extremely helpful and courteous. Ill be going there again surely.
Ordered the death by chocolate nutella with a brownie base and it was one of the best cakes that I have ever had. It was soft and delicious and not too sweet! The only thing I would have loved more was a choc ganache icing rather than the gooey semi liquid chocolate one.
Their delivery was quick and all their cakes are eggless (they do make ones with egg but only on order )
Looking forward to trying their other cakes.

Their Fruit Passion cake is ammmmmmazing ! Kit-kat cake is also very very nice. Pick anything on their menu..n it will never disappoint you. They also make great shape cakes..the owner Mayur is very innovative.

A good little joint that serves mostly delicious treats..We tried the mango cheesecake, the sizzling brownie & the death by chocolate as suggested by the staff...Amazing! The follow up fruit pastry was average..not as good as the earlier round we had..Owner's friendly though the service could be faster..But definitely a better cake shop than most have tried in Mumbai.
I would swear by Fruit Passion & Death by chocolate anytime. This time I requested for a fusion of both & they made it amazing. Every bite would just melt in your mouth. All my guests loved it.
