Shreedevi has always been a paradise for me. I was badly craving for North Indian food and ordered some seriously delicious food from here. Huge boxes and good packaging. No spills. Paneer kadhai and Kolhapuri Biryani were the star dishes for dinner. Amazing quantity and superb taste. Definitely gonna order some more food from here.

Kaju Makhanwala :- So delicious it was. Lots and lots of kaju inside it. Yes was little sweet but i loved this dish.
They serves some delicious food which just fullfiled my cravings. in love with the outlet and the portion size. the measures taken for safety was up to the mark.
Shreedevi is an amazing outlet with a variety of options to try from. the generrous portions of food which are pocket friendly as well. im excited to try their other food stuff again.
Shreedevi has always been a evergreen place and the food they serve is legendary. I recently ordered some food, honestly it was flawless as before. Right from the packaging to the lipsmacking taste, food is totally best. Shreedevi Pavbhaji, Paneer Kadhai and Veg Kolhapuri has always been my favorites from here. It was a pleasure having such a fantastic meal after so long.

Simple soulfood. Absolutely loved it all. We tried the dahi wadas as starters. Loved the tempering of mustard seeds on the curd. We also tried the onion uttapam. Lovely coconut chutney and mild sambhar. The butter pav bhaji was delicious and something I was craving for from a long long time. And last but not the least we enjoyed the veg Kolhapuri with butter rotis. Excellent meal and extremely affordably priced. I must say the South Indian is quite good here. Also the packing was neat and clean. There were no spills and leaks
This is the very best place for family. The food quality is good. Having here since ages and delivery was good, safety measures taken with proper packaging.

I had ordered from Shreedevi couple of weeks ago. The restaurant offers the most famous dishes people like in Mumbai. I ordered a Masala Dosa along with a Pav Bhaji. The food was packed properly and hygiene was taken care of. The taste was simple, home made like and freshly prepared. Also, the prices are very economical and you can almost order daily from here. TODAY afternoon arround 2:15pm we visited for lunch...had taken parcel of dahi wada.contain lid not closed properly.they just closed and brought to us with brown parcel bag with a strapped..once when open all dahi spilled out. NEGLIGENCE staff. Spoiled the entire day.
For every bollywood fan, this place rings a bell. This restaurant has simple and sober seating with high quality food. Healthy living is an emotion now, so I first started it with fruit salad which was refreshing. The fruits were fresh and sweet. But we Indians can't live only with healthy food so I ordered a rawa masala dosa as well which was really great. The masala filling was fantastic and i really liked the coconut chutney with it.
For Starters, we ordered Panner Chilli Dry😋 which was really good and not dry, as the name says 😀..We were already full with the starters😀.. For the main course was Paneer Butter Masala and Naan..Dint need to order rice after that, we were two of us and the quantities were good enough..Thank you

We were in Malad and keen on trying some new restaurant for lunch. That's when I searched on google for some vegetarian restaurant's near me and this was the first one that came in the list.
Coming to the restaurant it is really good and located quite near to Malad Railway station. The restaurant is quite spacious and well lit from inside and not to mention it is clean too. The ambiance is pretty good as well. Coming to our order we ordered a south Indian Thali and a Tawa Pulav. The thali had an option of with or without pulav so we ordered the without pulav one. There were 3 types of vegetables namely one gravy and two dry vegetables.
The tandoori rotis were good and soft. The dal was also good and so was the curd that came with the thali. Apart from that, it had the usual accompaniments of pickle, papad, and raw onions. Coming to the Tawa Pulav, it was really good and tasteful and they made sure to make it less spicy as we had specified. It also came with one papad and a small bowl of raita. The tawa Pulav had an abundance of veggies and the long grain rice was delicious to taste.
All in all the experience was really good and the only thing they can improve is the speed of service. Thus, a really good experience and you can definitely try here.

When we are tried of shopping at natraj market we can eat here. Its a busy restaurant during afternoon for its variety of Thali.
Situated in Natraj market, this restaurant is a hot favourite for shoppers and is usually crowded. The Punjabi Thali is a must try. Apart from that the paneer items on the menu are great. And if you're still hungry, you can try the Falooda.

This is another lil old gem amidst the hustle bustle market of Malad....quite famous in locality and runnung from ages. Came across this place durimg a shopping spree. Since we were hungry we straight away went for their spl Punjabi thali which wasn't huge unlike the monster thalis these days hitting the social media but more of a subtle one like it used to be. With good vegetables, dal fry, pulav, puris, salad, dessert, dahiwada, lassi etc.. Food was good and the place was busy too...yet its spacious n comfy. Wortht he penny for sure
I have been their walk-in customer since I moved to Malad in 2006, though not very regular. I will caption them, "The Ultimate #Dosa Point @ S. V. Road". The next time you go to Natraj Market or pass the station, you better try the dosa they offer. They have amazing Thali options - south and north. Both are very filling. I love their paper dosa and Mysore malasa dosa. It's a delightful treat that makes me happy. Environment is good. Service is nice. Ambience is cool. If you like it quiet then they have an AC section too. Well lit, clean tables and fast service. Yeah, they bring food quick enough!

This restaurant has been around since I was a kid and it has never disappointed me till date! A perfect family restaurant with a very polite staff catering to all their customers' needs. One of the popular local joints,so may get a little busy in peak hours or weekends.
Some of their delicacies include all of their South Indian dishes and their Punjabi thali. Prices are reasonable and food is worth the money.
Do give them a try, they're thoroughly with it. Unfortunately, I do not have any photos to upload here because going along with family calls for setting the phone aside during meals :P but you may trust my words along with all those other good reviews they've earned here!

Decided to drop in to this iconic place for lunch. They have 2 seating sections AC and non AC. Since the weather is so horrid we opted to sit in the comfort and solace of the AC section.
The seating is a bit awkward considering the chair are literally attached to each other so if you do want to adjust your seat, the person sitting alongside you has to adjust as well. But you get over that quickly enough.
After long thought my Mother opted for the South Indian Thali, my Girlfriend the Butter Pav Bhaji and I the Punjabi Thali.
The Thalis both came out almost immediately after placing the order which was a relief since we were starving.
The Punjabi Thali was absolutely brilliant and a MUST ORDER for anyone who loves delicious food. The Thali consisted of Papad, 4 Pooris, Chole, Mixed Veg, Dahi Puri, Daal, Rice, Srikhand and also came along with a glass of Lassi. Everything on the plate was phenomenal, especially the Chole and the Mixed Vegetable which were the stand out dishes of this Thali.
The South Indian Thali - I didn't taste much as I was too preoccupied with the Punjabi Thali. The South Indian Thali consisted of Poori, Papad, Pulav, Rasam, Daal, Sheera and some other liquid dishes. I personally didn't care for much of what I tasted. My Mother also said that the Punjabi Thali was much better.
Butter Pav Bhaji - Got to be the worst Pav Bhaji I've ever tried in my life, so tasteless and not at all buttery which was shocking considering we ordered for the BUTTER Pav Bhaji. The bread was toasted with butter but the Pav Bhaji lacked it completely. It was very disappointing and if you truly want to have Pav Bhaji I suggest going elsewhere.
Lastly we ordered for Paper Dosa with Butter - Once again the butter was missing, I don't know why. The Dosa was crisp and light, not the biggest considering I've eaten Paper Dosa at a lot of different places but the Sambar and Chutney served alongside it were good and the Dosa served as a light snack for all of us to nibble on.
All in all the place is really nice and one should definitely visit to try out their food (except the Pav Bhaji), the service is quick and the ambience is minimalistic.

Thali consisted to Puris, Paneer kohlapuri, Aaloo mutter, Srikhand, Papad, pickle, Dahi wada, A glass of sweet lassi.. they serve 2nd round of either Puris or veg Pulaav. We chose to have Pulaav which was ossm.
paav bhaji was also good. kids loved it and so did mummies👌😊
if you crave Puri bhaji or a dosa even at 9pm and your friends and family are in for it too. do go here . the staff are friendly and there's really good service. you don't have to wait for long to fill your tummy.

"Shreedevi" is one of the oldest hotel in malad.
It is located on SV Road and it hardly takes 5 mins from malad station and about a min from malad station bus stop. Its very close to the market so after shopping it is one of the best place to end your day happily and peacefully.
Ambience is very old style but at the same time its warm and welcoming. They have both ac and non ac section. Non Ac section has a capacity of about 50-60 people(tables for 6 and 4) while the AC section has a capacity of about 30 people.
Inspite of a capacity of 50-60 people the place is crowded during peak hours but not to worry people share tables willingly and happily. Credits for this may go to the servers as they make you feel like home.
Service is fast and even if you visit during peak hours your order wont take a huge amount of time to get ready. Servers are very humble and welcomes you with a smile and helps you with menu.
When you visit an outlet food matters to a great extent but the hospitality also plays an important role. The warm vibes you get here actually helps to make a wonderful food experience.

It is a limited thali.Punjabi Thali consists of 2 sabjis, roti/puri (depending on your choice), raita, shrikhand, daal, dahi wada, papad, pulav, pickle.
The 2 sabjis keep on changing over a period of time. When i tried punjabi thali the two shabjis were palak paneer and mutter paneer.
Palak Paneer: 4/5 ☺
Paneer cubes were in good quantity but the taste was more on garlic side.
Mutter Paneer: 5/5 😍
It had the exact spiciness and taste. Along with mutter there were other vegetables too.
Shrikhand: 4.5/5 😋
It was a kesar shrikhand and tasted yummy. It was of mediocre thickness.
Dahi wada: 5/5 ❤
Dahi wada was a gem. It tasted awesome. It contained one wada with a good quantity of dahi. The yogurt (dahi)was also perfect.
Daal: 5/5😘
Daal was also good. It had the tadka which made it more awesome. It gave a filling of completeness when it was added to rice.
Rice: 4.5/5😋
The grain was of good quality and the wasnt just a fried rice but was very much like pulav.

It was thick and blending of yogurt was perfectly done.
Thats what the punjabi thali contained and is more than enough for a single person.
The price of the thali is pocket friendly.
Juices served are also good. A must try juice is coctail juice.

Typical fast food joint. Another that's been around since my childhood and probably before. I've always mostly had the usual south Indian snacks here. But on the few occasions that we've had meals, it has been good.

Oldest restaurant memories I have are of dining out at Shreedevi. Even though I'm not very regular here for special dining but I absolutely love the lunch thali here. Too bad they do not make the Gujarati thali anymore but the punjabi thali is a close runner up 👍🏼

This place has been my go-to place since childhood for south indian delicacies. May it be piping hot Idli Sambhar on a rainy day or quick bite for a crispy Masala Dosa, this is the place I go to over local stalls. It being to a close proximity to the market makes it the best place to have some food after some delightful shopping. One of the things I noticed on entering the restaurant is that they keep a tray of glasses of water for those who are just passing by and in need of water.
The ambience is very welcoming, old style tables and chairs wait for you. At peak hour, people even share the tables and are happy to so. They have an Ac section too.
There are servers or Anna's as I like to call them, who have been here since the beginning. They remember everyone who comes frequently to the restaurant. Whenever I go I am treated with a smile (and with the expression "Oh she's come again, wonder what she'll have today) It always feels like home to sit here and eat.
Coming to the food, today I had ALOO PARATHA, FINGER CHIPS and DAL KHICHDI.
The service is really fast. *ting* the water is here *ting* the order is taken *ting* the order arrives. Majorly people order south indian food here coz the idli and dosas and chutney sambhar is to die for. A HG meal for those suffering from hunger.
The ALOO PARATHA was very tasty. The aloo masala was full of flavor, paratha was nicely cooked,not oily. Very crispy on the edges, just the way i like it.
FINGER CHIPS is my favorite here as they have a thick cut and they give the perfect flavor of potatoes, more than anywhere else. Though salt was less, you can always add it.
DAL KHICHDI *heaven*
Dal khichdi is my go to comfort food. Almost every restaurant I have been too, i have tried their dal khichdi. I feel if a restaurant can master the basics, they can master any dish and this dish becomes like taste tester for the other dishes that the restaurant serves.
Anyways, the dal khichdi at Shreedevi is yum, yum, yum. Smoky flavor, garam masala, ghee, perfect percentage of dal and rice along with the achaar. (haye death hi hojani hai).
Its so flavorful, i completed 1 and I took 1 parcel to eat with family at home.
To end my meal, i had CHAI. One Anna is my favorite and he knows what i like to eat. Without asking he brings me Chai coz he knows whatever meal i have there, i end it with their special CHAI. they make amazing chai, just like a typical south indian restaurant. Me being a chai addict, if i say its nice, then it's definitely nice.
If you are anywhere near the vicinity, just come here and eat. Whether you are hungry or not, just come here, order something, you will realise you were hungry after all.

Back in the 90s when Natraj Market and the other street vendors around were the only shopping options Shreedevi Restaurant was the number one choice of everybody for a quick breakfast or snacks. Nobody staying in Malad can ever forget this restaurant. Sunday evenings used to be super crowded.
I went there recently for a quick South indian breakfast with family and it is still the same. The waiters are super fast and very efficient. The food arrives on the table in no time. Masala dosa, Idli, Medu wada, Filter Coffee, Sheera are among my favorites and it has still maintained the standards since decades. The cleanliness and hygiene has improved a low. The price is still similar to what they used to charge.
Really very impressed by the way it is still operating and made me feel nostalgic to come here again.

As a kid, every Saturday, an evening Idli/ Masala Dosa / Idli-wada was pretty much a tradition for my parents and myself. So much so, that I even know the wait staff and the owner by now.
I don't think I can give an unbiased review about this place since it has been that great.
Seeing it evolve from the humble beginnings to the nice ambience that it poses today, it has been quite a ride.
But what hasn't changed or hinged is the quality and the taste of the food. Btw, I order an Idli and a Filter Coffee every time I go.
I will visit this again as soon as possible.
For people staying in Malad for generations, ShreeDevi is the best. The restaurant has built its reputation on tasty food, excellent quick & friendly service, next ambience. Have taken many friends from other cities to eat here and everyone was impressed. It has been 1st preference of my parents over the years & my wife and kid prefer ShreeDevi to any other Restaurant as well. Keep it up.
We usually visit this place with my mom for the thali.
They serve gujrati , Punjabi and South Indian thalis.
Our all time favorite is the Gujarati thali which has a good variety of veggies, pulses etc. Those who do not like sugar in their food should avoid this one as the items are on a sweeter side. The Punjabi thali is equally good but has just 2 gravies and Farsan as well.
Apart from that their South Indian, Chinese, Sandwiches, Pav bhaji are good and the staff are good with their service

A hungry morning way to the office decided to go with Shreedevi. Parking here is a big problem. Visited to the restaurant ordered a Vada Sambhar & Butter Masala Dosa all was perfectly made except Sambhar it was sweet in taste May be its my taste I like a particular type of sambar.

Its a completely budget full Family Restaurant. Its good for it's South Indian dishes especially 'The Upma'. If you have it in the morning, I can guarantee you that It would be the best breakfast. The Event:
Today being a Valentine Day I expected something of a fancy treat from Sonam. Instead I was dragged into the intricate labyrinths of the bylanes of Malad in a furniture shopping spree. After a grueling time of inspecting a dozen sofa cum beds from half the number of shops, we finally settled for one.
The chore done, we found ourselves at the doorsteps of Shreedevi, offering our prayers.
The Frills:
Shreedevi is a sprawling and bustling South Indian eatery and has been one of the earliest places to arrive on the scenery. And located so very close to the station, it commands its own respect.
The interior is decent - its a longish place divided into two sections, the AC and the otherwise. You have artistic wall pieces all around. Well lit place, decent seating arrangement and a lot of food servers busy around the place.
The Food:
Gujarati thaali with pulav (INR 160): We called for this thaali, which gave us an offering as below - three ghee laden chapattis, one katori of moong, sweet dal, Gujrati kadhi, Aloo tamatar veggie and cluster beans veggie each. There was the customary raita, pickles, papad and chutney. There was pulav, there were a couple of aloo tikkis, a small glass of chhaas and there was a small katori of shrikhand.
The thaali was good as it goes, seemed quite nourishing and filling and was equally great in taste. We don't mind the sweetness in most of the things and we simply lapped it up.
Rava Dosa (INR 60): This was a decent, crisp, fair sized Rava Dosa with a few bits of green chillies present across. Again a delightful experience, the accompanying sambar and coconut chutney were nice too.
Cocktail Juice (INR 80): One sip of this and I realised that this place believes in giving a good bang for the buck to its patrons. The juice was thick and served chilled without it having any ice cubes. The presence of black grapes, pineapple, sweet lime and oranges was evident, and the quality was premium. Nor was there any penny pinching in quantity, which actually had us warming up to this place.
The Verdict:
A Grade. Generous and unpretentious. More on substance less on noise. And perfectly right priced. I shall return to this place again and again.

The quintessential Udipi restaurant of Malad station road, and my Mom's favorite bribe for dragging me to Natraj market for hours of boring shopping (even thinking back now gives me shivers, lol). I had my first pav bhaji and paper dosa here. Even if Mom had ulterior motives to treat me here, I never complained, because I was one of those lucky kiddos to be able to gorge on this delicious food almost every week throughout my childhood. The veg spring rolls, the cream of tomato soup, the tomato onion uttappa were all awesome. I distinctly remember even today, that Shreedevi Hotel's chatni was the only one that I completely gobbled up. This really is a chatni institution. To think that this chatni has almost become a benchmark for all Udipi joints I eat at, is in itself quite a distinction (and I eat out a lot). Reminiscing and writing about this has got me all nostalgic about all those precious moments I spent at Shreedevi Hotel, and I am going to talk to my Mom tonight about those wonderful days, growing up with Shreedevi Hotel cuisine. To the Management - Here's hoping and wishing that many more children like me, across generations grow up to love and cherish the food at your restaurant, and build happy memories. A BIG THANK YOU!
Heard about it from my mom saying that they used to come here with my grand mom and its her fav place..so we could consider it as a legend for street food(south Indian)
They say that the taste is still same all these years
The good they serve is hot which is really important..

And I only eat there idli sambhar
But the taste of the sambar and the hot idli made me come back here and change my rating

Shreedevi was my favourite veg restaurant since I was a child but I had not been there in a while. The thalis are superb and the falooda is out of this world. The staff are very courtious.
The pav bhaji here is really yummy.
The sambhar is to die for.
The dosas are crisp to perfection. Try paper dosa and ask the waiter to make it crisp.
I have even tried their north indian food which is okay okay.
I have even tried their pizza which was yummy.
Sreedevi has been here for ages and I hope a American fast food place doesnt take over this too. I have nothing against fdi or other cuisines but not at the cost of our foods .
Entered here quite unplanned on a whim. Basically had some time to kill in this area and I dont regret my decision. The non ac section is pretty breezy and clean too. Staff and service too is decent

Spring dosa-amazing. Just what I was craving for.

Thhis hotel is special in south indian dishes and its so tatsty and the rates are also average and quantity is also verry good and some of the punjabi food tatste is also verry good yummy and good for 2 people.
It's a nice place, the staff is very nice and friendly. The menu is like pretty much what you'd find in most Veg. restaurants. Food here is also pretty good, I've eated a few other things but whenever I'm here I always take the Punjabi Thali, boy isn't that thing filling. It's and insane amount of food for the price you pay and if you order it parcelled the quantity almost doubles! Like I said everything else is pretty much normal/average so dont really need to talk about it. The pricing is also quite fine and affordable.
PS: Try the Thali's there 3 types- Panjabi, Gujju and Mallu
Malad is small gujrat of mumbai, whenever I enter malad I feel like running away from chaos , traffic jams, and irritatingly narrow SV Road.
somehow only one thing keep me going to malad is the shreedevi.
South indian cuisines you get here are to die for. This is at SV Road just start at Natraj market. So with all the shopping bags you can hop in here.
Its a typical madrasi hotel with pretty neat decoration. Service is quick , quantity is very good, and price is directly proportionate to quantity of food and quality of food... :)
My personal favorites :
Paper masala dosa (Order this if you are starving for a day or two, or you have someone to share)
Rava masala dosa.
Taste of sambhar and chutney is too good. You will keep coming here for the sake of only these two things.

Veg thali I love the best

Panjabi vegetarian food is also good.
Parking is big problem so be prepared.

U always were the same good old place, food good, price reasonable, cleanliness good.
It's your typical Udipi restaurant that offers freshly made food with quick service and at an affordable price. The ambience is okay but the waiters offer a quick service with a smile. The food was delicious. I ordered and onion uttapam that was cooked to perfection served with a tasty sambar and chutney. The chaas that I had was one of the best, so I gulped two glasses of it. :)
This is the very best place for family. The food quality is good. Having here since ages and delivery was good, safety measures taken with proper packaging.
What We Had:
•Pav Bhaji: It was superb in taste with good quality.
•Paneer Chilly: It had less gravy. Need to improve in that.
•Paneer Handi: It was delicious in taste with perfect quantity.
This is a charming restaurant in existence since long. It has retained its charm through tasty food and fast service. The menu is long and covers many items. They serve different kinds of thalis like South Indian thali, punjabi thali etc.

Yet, despite all the restrictions, the Jains have conjured up an absolutely delightful cuisine, making the most of what is available to them.
This is the first time I ordered Jain food from the restaurant.
Shreedevi is quite popular and one of the oldest restaurants on the streets of Malad(W) & it’s serving delicious food to customers from the last 2 decades.
We tried:
Veg Hakka Noodles: All-time favourite Hakka Noodles, it's one of the best options to treat your taste buds. Chinese cuisine is incomplete without garlic and onions but I want to try something different so I tried Jain Hakka noodles and it was damn good.
Biryani: Is there anyone who doesn't love Biryani? Biryani is one of the best things one can have for lunch or dinner. Loaded with veggies and cottage cheese along with raita and papad is pure bliss.
I was reading the menu card to see if I could get something different than usual and I saw Shreedevi special vegetable which has 2 different gravies. It's 2 in 1

I've been visiting this place from back then..
They never fail to impress me..
The quality that they serve you is top notch and the quantity is heartful..
I had ordered
Paneer kofta : paneer filled koftas served with a little sweeter side gravy
Kolhapuri Biryani : authentic Kolhapuri biryani with a little spice to it..
Pav bhaji : one of the best pav bhajis I've tried till date (recommended)
Overall it's a must try place for everyone in malad aswell as visitors..

I loved cheese garlic Kulche. Naan is good(pls don't add Haldi in it)
Loved the tawa sabzi..and custard is too good.
Pls avoid Cheese Papad roll, due to lots & lots of oil(rather I suggest go for Corn finger chips)might be better.
Overall a wonderful experience :)
Hotel Shreedevi is located just near Natraj Market. After shopping one can just relax and have nice food. It's a family restaurant having ample space.
It's open since 1982. Our 3 generations have eaten. Here today I took my kids the 3rd gen there to eat

100% recommend. Once I started going here I never want to visit any other restaurant. None of the old restaurants here have been able to maintain their standards along with price and quantity.
Every time I try a new restaurant I get ripped off and I don't even get good food. But not at this place. The food is sooooo good and not at all expensive. I've had Chole bhature and dal fry fried rice. All these items are to die for. The quantity is also very good. For 4 people I had ordered 2 dal fry 2 fried rice and 1 Chana masala(Chole) my bill was a mere 680 rs. Must visit guys. Its a treat for your taste buds.
Have Still managed to retain the same taste. Lockdown has taken the toll could be felt as the Air conditioner section was closed due to lack of staff

Busy with work and no time to cook made me order from this restaurant which has been serving since decades. This place is always known for its reasonable yet delicious food.
I ordered my favourite main course - Paneer kofta with chappatis. The quantity was good for upto 6 of their large chappatis. The kofta was huge was filled with crushed paneer and the gravy was sweet-spicy.
Also tried the Kashmir Dum Aloo, was perfect in every sense. Loved it. They also sent along some lemons, onions and pickle along with papad, definitely a good gesture
I tried the Paneer Biryani here which was served along with raita. The quantity was good for 2-3 people and was extremely delicious. Easily my favourite biryani from this place.
Overall Shreedevi has never failed to impress me ever. From their Aloo bhaji puri to Pav Bhaji, I've grown on their food. Should definitely give them a try.
Best super affordable food and no compromise on the taste.
Sambhar is just perfect here even in the night you will get good and fresh taste
