If your looking for best samosa in town here you are.
Had Vada Pav and Lassi. Tasted decent.
If you are near Borivali station, do not miss out on this place. They have a seating area as well as you can opt for a parcel. I am a big fan of their Samosa's and the sweet chutney they serve.
Do not miss out on the Vada Pav, Samosa pav and Lassi.
Lassi on ur mind.. if u around borivali stn, do come here for yummy lassi. Famous for vada pav, samosa pav. Everything served here is tasty. Good option for quick bite. Crowded usually.
I love this place. They make one of the best Samosa in the world. Must try but one needs to compromise the hygiene here. Cost friendly. Also the taste makes u delighted
Pipasa has the best vada pav in borivali. I just love the taste of their vada pav. Lassi is also their speciality. Pipasa is known for its lassi and vada pav. If your ever visit borivali and want to eat vada pav or lassi just go to pipasa. It is easy to reach their because it's visible from the borivali station.
Good for quick foods like vada pav, samosa pav and also the best part is their lassi, tasty and quality food in affordable prices. If you are around Borivali West station then it's nice place to visit and have some quick bites.
This place is quick service vada pav and Lassi shop. I had the vada pav and lassi. Both were very good. Vadapav has lots of flavour with the 'seengh dana' chutney providing extra zing.
Lassi was thick and sweet as sugar. The quantity to price ratio is affordable. Overall a nice place for quick eat when around Borivali Station.
Oldest Food Restaurant in Borivali.
Good to have your quick bites like Vadapav, Samosas....famous for their chutunys.
Special Item is Lassi.
If you like thick Lassi you must visit here.
It's available in half and full two quantity.
Either you can have it here or take home.

Located exactly opposite Borivali station.
Their famous yummy Sweet Lassi, loaded with Malai is one thing that surely gets me here everytime I pass PIPASA.
Apart from that, their Vada-pav gets sold like hot cakes throughout the day & is surely something to try here.
The place is always crowded & also has around 6 tables where you could sit & eat.
Visiting this place since childhood or when ever visiting borivali station. The lassi is too good here. Always crowded. A must visit place on a hot day. The lassi is fresh n sweet. A must place if visiting borivali station
Its located right outside Borivali Station near platform No. 1.
My evening hunger pangs made me buy some vada pav and samosa from here.
They were piping hot and chutneys were good.
It's a good option but there tons of better places.
I would only prefer the Lassi here which is thick and creamy.
Best place to have snacks for college students if you are wada pav n samosa pav lover then this place is surely for you .It is just outside platform no1 and is easily accessible . Best thing about this place is the chutney which they use .They have 4 varieties of chutney and is thus d main reason dat there samosa n wadas taste so good, another thing which is attractive about this place is their lassi which is a must try . Specially for college going students if you have 30-40 bucks with you try their vadaor samosa pav for 15 n half lassi which is for 20
It's a very good snacks corner just outside borivali station. Tasty vada pav and samosa. Try dahi samosa, it's very tasty. With variety of milk products at reasonable rates it's a good place.
Located outside Borivali station, many people flock to this small eatery mainly for their lassi and vada paav. The lassi you get here is very thick with cream and is amazing. The chutney they put in vada paav and samosa paav is different from others and has taste of its own.
Nice place to have vada paav in borivali west
Nice and hygine place speciality in vada pav and lassi
Good ambience and good food
Really love it
Hey this place cannot be forgotten, just opposite the borivali railway station is pipasa, very old and famous, I first visited this place in 1992, vada pav along with a lassi is the best, so next time when your in borivali drop in and enjoy their food stuff
Highly Recommended
This is one of the most known fast food centres situated bang opposite borivli West station..
Tried the vada pav, samousa pav and medu vada from here.. All of it tasted good.. Lassi from here is also good..
Slightly on the expensive side but quality is good..
Good place for a snack..
Situated bang opposite Boriwali Station platform no 1 in west side. This small joint is well known since I guess more than 12-15 years easily. I still remember my dad used to get samosa & vada for snake when we were school going !
Place is still the same with its same taste & quality with short...
Lassi-must.Vada pav and samosa pav is very good too...just found it a little salty.
Taste is yum....but dont forget the lassi. Its a small place, take your order and walk off.You can always trust mumbai street food for its hygiene.
This is the land mark in borivali... every one who love lavda pav shold know abt this place.... and the fams lasi....
Every abt this place is just wow... when ever ur near borivali just vist thia yummy place... n make ur tunny happy....
If you want to have the best lassi go here!
It is amazing, fulfilling and tasty.
I had the Special Pipasa Lassi and it was full of dry fruits, kesar, malai just how it is supposed to be. The perfect one !
Always had Malai Lassi, vada pav n samosa here. The quality of food is amazing. Still need to try Mango Lassi. Nice place to visit a have quick snack on the go
Never had a lassi better den dis ever. Its much much better the MM ki lassi. Best vada pav nd samosa in mumbai..always served hot n fresh. Very hygienic food. The size of ther vada pav samosa n sabudana vada is vry big. Cold masala milk is a must hav.
Pipasa has been the local yet never aging and ever loving mother to all its tired, hardworking and daily train commuters, trespassers and locals alike.
Being a refreshment joint yet rejuvenating most with it's fresh vada paav and hot samosa pav and sweet Lassi that too with a wide variety to it and all being amazing(lousy work lately,to be honest).
A samosa pav and half glass Lassi always did the trick for me as I was drenched in sweat and exhausted as hell after a long day of travelling during my college tenure.
Loved it!!
Ambience wise if had been more spacious would be icing on the cake but nevertheless is still is quite populated and resides at the core of localites' hearts
snacks 4/5
Ambience 2.5/5
Service (coupon system) :3.5/5
Value for money:3.5/5
Repeat value:3/5
Jai Maharashtra!! Cheers!
Excellent location for excellent business! Located right outside borivali railway station in the west. Superb snacks and really tasty lassi. They give 4 chutneys with samosas and vada. Don't forget to ask for the red powder chutney that's the best one! So if you pass by borivali station don't think twice before picking up a samosa or a vadapav ;)
Best place to have samosa. They always serve it hot and fresh. Yummy imli chutney too. Pocket friendly and located outside borivali station.
It might be small, congested, engulfed by scores of shoppers, but you can't miss Pipasa the moment you step out of Borivali station's platform#1. It can't be exactly said that they expanded in terms of space (which they haven't), but they have surely done so with their menu.
Ever since those carefree days of college, when free lectures were celebrated more than festivals, Pipasa had been an eternal favorite; more so for its easily accessible location. One hop in the train from Goregaon and 10 minute later you would be gorging on a piping hot wada pav/samosa pav or sipping on their famous lassi.
Pipasa changed their internal structure quite often, from making enough people to sit and then finally settling on making it completely a stand alone place, with a few chairs thrown at the side for the elderly. The menu which started with just hot snacks, such as wadas, samosas and lassis, moved on to pattices, farsan items and quite recently take away thalis.Β
The pricing of all the items on the menu are a little on the higher side, but the taste is totally worth it. The size of the wadas, samosas or kachoris are in tandem with the prices and you actually don't complain after hogging on to one. First timers might definitely find the place very crowded, considering the place is very small and the crowd just keeps coming in every minute.
If you want a quick fix before hopping on to a train or a bus and head towards a stressful life, Pipasa will always come to your rescue.
Whenever I am around Borivali station, I always happen to see myself going towards this outlet.
Well this place serves epic Wada-pav & Samosa - along with variety of lassi (so thick & buttery). You will never find this place empty & people generally hop in to grab a bite Vada/Samosa Pav serverd with their 3 types of Chutneys(that's the speciality).
I recommend this place to one & all.
Located opposite Borivali station Pipasa Offers A mouth watering Vada Pav and Samosa Pav also they are served it Hot to us.lassi of Many variety are available.
one of the best samosas which you wil get in borivali and specialy with the garlic chutney both wet and dry. simply love the place thogh i m not a very big fan of their vadapav and lassi but samosa makes up for it n if you visit in evening be prepared to stand in the que but its worth the wait
I relate pipasa to their lassi and light snacks.. Been at the station it has a locational advantage.. Pipasa has been there since more than 15 years now.. Hope they maintain quality with growing business
A very old joint near the borivali station........ Popular for its lassis and samosa/vadas....... The taste is also quite good.. and a place to grab a quick tasty snack.
I'm from Chennai but been to Mumbai many times and the day I come to Borivali, drinking lassi in Pipasa is must, not fan of vadapav much but still would to love to eat over there. Wont get that same kind of lassi anywhere.
This place should figure in the Legendary collection after all it has been there for decades, finest lassi and the vada pav is also yummy ...
A nice place Opposite Borivali Station. Vada pav and lassi are fabulous. But Prices are on higher side.
Just opposite to birvali station platform no.1 and hidden by underground road opening, this place serves absolutely fabulous Lassi and vadapao.
Though the pricing is bit high and place is not so sufficient, you will always find the crowd here.
Most importantly this place is clean and neat.
Size of vada pao is big enough, mirchis that they give along with vada pao has unique masala and delicious taste.
Burgers, wraps, falooda is also available here but most of the selling is of vada pao , samosa and lassi.
Lassi is thick, creamy, chilled, bit sour and sweet in taste.
Space is constraint , sometimes you end up standing on road for waiting for ur turn to get vada pao, this place has token system for which u have to get yourself to the counter get the token and come back, in crowd its the most irritating job ever.
Overall taste of food is good, nothing much to talk about ambiance.
rating : 3.5
This is one of those places which you visit with the singular motive of consuming one amazing dish. For Pipasa it's The Regular Punjabi Lassi. One of the most mouth watering lassi I've had! And very reasonably priced considering how thick and rich it is! Great place to chill and refuel while shopping around Borivali.
If you are looking for rich authentic soft and buttery butter Lassi you should go to Pipasa. This place is located opposite to Borivali Railway Station.
They have been serving Lassis for decades . Started as a lassi shop it now also serves Samosa and vada. The Samosa are big in size, hot and crunchy. The vadas are soft and served hot.Majority of the people come over here to have Lassi. The Lassis are served chilled and thick and the sweetness is just perfect. The shop has changed its interior and billing system over the years but the quality of the Lassi has remained unchanged.
If you tired after travelling in Mumbai Local Train,I say go to Pipasa and have one of the most cooling and refreshing drinks.
Bigggggg wada pav:
This place has one of the biggest wadaas in the wada pav in Mumbai. It is so big that you need to eat it carefully so that the wada doesn't slip out of the pav. :-) And yes, it is tasty too! :-)
Biggggg sabudana wada:
The vendor makes really big sabudana wadas. He also serves nice dahi and chatni with the same. You'll surely love it. :-)
So, in short, if you are at borivali station and need some breakfast, just step in and pop in a couple of wadaas and it will give your taste buds a nice experience besides keeping you going for at least a couple of hours.
Giving this place a higher rating compared to other snack shops as they serve hot and tasty food.
Area of improvement:
A better seating arrangement, some interior decoration and little more focus on hygiene.
I love pipasa lassi. They have the best wada pav and samosa pav in whole mumbai. Pipasa roxxxxx. Please visit pipasa once for ur delightment.
OMG, what a delicious testy food !!!
After a tiresome day at college it's such a relief to have the smoking hot samosa paav at pipasa which is so near to borivali station. After which a half glass of lassi is just the cherry on top. I call it the pipasa combo!
Samosa pav : 15/-
Half glass Lassi : 20/-
I think they should make it a combo at 30/- though!!
All time favourite place for snacks.
Taste with quality ππ
No.1 specialist in lassi...
Everyone living in Borivali knows that Pipasa Vadapav is a must have
Price : 16 Rs.
Location : Pipasa Snacks, Opposite Borivali Station.
I am giving 4 star only for samosa I had.. it was best samosa I have had.. we ordered lassi also but it was watery and they had added cardamom also so it was not good as it's hyped
Even they are not giving enough malai for lassi ..it's just hyped for lassi...but samosa was best and best
Not so big restaurant some seats are there to seat and have food.
One of the oldest snacks joint in Borivali west,
I love the vada pav and then Lassi.
Best part is the chutney in Vada or Samosa, many other items also available. Lot of rush always so what you get is always hot. One if the best place for a quick snack when you get down at borivali before going home.
Good place for quick bite... Their lassi and samosas are too yummy and delicious... Must visit when in Borivali π Place is a bit small, so you can also get a take-away π
Located opposite Borivali station, Pipasa serves you a good vada pav with sweet, green and sukha chutney. It has good samosa, dahi kachori and sabudana wada too.
Tbh, i've only had samosas from here and they were really good with the green chutney and their sukka masala.
This is one place that everyone loves. Near Borivali station feeding the kids back from college or people back from a hard day's of work. Lassi here is amazing and must try!!
