Just a amazing place ..near to station ambiance is also best...even staff members are friendly
Madras cafe is newly renovated...... And they made some good changes like they started a/c dining and also they improved their Ambiance......
So it was looking good and hygiene. And the service was also very good.....
We ordered veg dum biryani and veg manchurian fried rice....
Do try this ones.....
The varieties of south indian food available over here and taste is so good and service too
A very old restaurant serving some good food more than 30 years.
Madras Cafe
Bhandup lacks in some good restaurant, there are only few restaurants which are well known and serves good food. Madras Cafe is very near to bhandup railway station 5 mins walk. We went over here after a movie as we were very hungry and in a search for some good food madras cafe caught our eyes.
What We Ordered :-
Paneer Tikka :- 5/5
South Indian Thali :- 4/5
Amul Pav bhaji :- 4/5
Overall food was good they can make thali more better proper seating arrangement in both Non Ac and Ac. Cards are accepted.
Overall Rating :- 4/5
Madras cafe one of the best restaurant on the LBS.
Just in 5 minutes from bhandup station.
This place is best for "nashta"
100% pure veg
Southindian food at its best.
I just visited with my friend.
Best taste at reasonable price.
About 250 .
We Tried Punjabi Plate...
It Comes with a variety of Curry's 2 piece of Tandoori roti and a Plate of Jeera Rice
The food here is delicious
Loved the place we come here often
We were in Bhandup for some shopping and this was the only good restaurant we could find for our lunch near the station area.
.
We ordered Pav Bhaji and Chole Bhature to play safe and both the dishes were good. I personally loved Chole Bhature more than the Pav Bhaji.
.
For deserts we ordered Fruit Salad with ice-cream and jelly. We could only find apples and pineapples in it. Also the jelly didn't seem to be fresh and was a bit stiff than usual.
.
Overall a decent place for a quick snack.
Visited this restaurant for some south Indian food. They kept it to their brand name. Loved the food. Highlight was the butteruttapam. It was crisp and cooked perfectly. Highly recommended if you are near Bhandup station area
Typical udipi styled restaurant and it doesn't disappoint with the food. Good for a morning breakfast. And the service is quick too. Located at the signal T point coming from bhandup station. The upma is a must try if you like upma that is gently sweet.
Happened to budge visit Madras Cafe yesterday as I didn't find places outside Bhandup Station and realised this is the one!
Since it was in the evening we didn't want to have a full course dinner so tried two of their starters.
IDLI CHILLY
Tried this for the very first time and its an amazing combination of South Indian and Chinese cuisine. Definately trying this at other places too. The ldli was perfectly soft inside and fried crispy outside dipped in the sauce. One thing that can be changed would be they should try using less oil for this particular dish.
SPRING ROLLS
These were decent enough, not really a recommended one.
TEA
Had it quite after a long time but the tea was amazing!

One of the oldest restaurant in Bhandup west located very close from LBS road. This is a pure veg restaurant which is good for their tasty food and decent seating arrangement. A good choice for family dine out.
This cafe is situated in bhandup west near LBS Marg. Speciality of this cafe is South Indian food like dosas and idilis. And the food was great and service too.
This place is known to be more than 35 years. I don’t know how old this place actually is. I was so glad to visit this place almost after 15 years last week.
As a child my favorite dish used to be sada dosa & masala dosa.
I am glad to see they are still best in Bhandup for South Indian food.
On my visit I had Rasam Idli & Filter coffee.
Both were really really yum.
I never Bhandup has best rasam & filter coffee serving place.
And I visited here now 2nd time also. I mean itne saal be baad visit kiya & now happened to go again.
This time I had Butter mysore sada dosa & filter coffee ofcourse. Can’t miss good filter coffee even in this summer.
Butter Mysore Sada Dosa tasted so good.
I am looking forward to visit this place to try more dishes.
Ambience is basic.
I visited non AC section.
Didn’t visit the renovated AC section.
Service is good.
They provide you good service. Atmosphere is good and food quality is good. I had visited this place. After upgradation this cafe has changed a lot. You should try their cheese dosa. It's awesome
Madras cafe is the best place for food lovers. I am a foodie, and each and everything is awesome here. From South Indian to Chinese everything is tasty and yummy. It's worth having food here. Good quality and quantity of food. I love masala dosa and manchow soup the most .
This is a huge place. Both AC and Non AC seating is available. I took the AC section. The place is beautifully decorated. The ambience is quite nice. The staff is very polite and helpful and always on their toes to cater to the needs.
Coming to the food:
Paneer crispy: 5/5. Do try if you're going for a Chinese starter.
Manchow soup: 4/5. A bit strong on vinegar.
Paneer handi: 4/5.
Paneer tikka masala: 5/5 both quantity and quality were great.
Daalkhichdi: 3.5/5. Much liquid consistency. Tasted good though.
Roti: 3/5. Got too dry and hard after a while. May be go for a butter one.
Overall experience was good. The price according to the quantity is good.
Recommended.
Best place to visit in Bhandup it's on LBS road and closes to Bhandup station this place is very famous for their south Indian dishes. One of the best dish I tried is Mysore masala dosa!!

The starters are really tasty with a good quantity.
But madras cafe is different and madras cafe fine dine is different...
Madras cafe fine dine's entrance is sideways... if you find problem in finding it just ask the at the counter...where is madras cafe fine dine..they will guide you..
MADRAS CAFE FINE DINE IS BETTER THAN MADRAS CAFE( BOTH IN SERVICE AND FOOD )
We ordered cheese dosa Sara and cheese masala dosa . Missal pav too. Though they forgot to provide the pav so swiggy helped with a replacement . I had food at restaurant . Having there in person is better vs ordering when I did both
Superb food, very good ambience and service.
South Indian food is tasty and good quality.
Price is reasonable and can give a try.
Service staff is smiling and courteous.
Oh madras cafe....
this place is there from my childhood me and my father use to go there after my school to have some real dosa and medu vada...
i can still remember the taste of that schezwan dosa i had here for the first time ...
Great foood great service
Madras cafe is best restaurant for breakfast. It is a/c and non a/c restaurant. It is famous for south indian dishes. There Masala_Dosa and Vada_Samber is so yummy. Also they provide better service to customer. It is near Bhandup railway station.
We have been frequent visitors to MC. after their renovation. In our Bhandup West area it is the best veg joint which provides really testy food. The place is neet and clean and the worth visiting
Madaras Cafe serves some amazing South Indian food! 😊 Recently, I tried their Bhav Bhaji, and let me tell you, it's like nothing I've ever tasted before – especially the pav bhaji, it's absolutely awesome! 🌶️🍛 To all the pav bhaji lovers out there, this is a must-try. Just go for it without any doubts
I loved this place due to its atmosphere and authentic food taste. This place serves a variety of dishes, such as Indian, panjabi, South Indian, Chinese and many more. And Each and every food item is amazing. This place is heaven for vegetarian people.
We had paneer butter masala and garlic naan.....food was good .....what i liked the most is staff behaviour.......staff people were so professional and so well behaved ..... Never seen this much polite staff in restaurant
Ordered Medu Vada, batata Vada sambar and misal pav. I didn't expect misal to be so tasty considering the restaurant specialization is South Indian dishes. The restaurant is located very near to Bhandup station.
This eatery is close to Bhanup Station. I've had some of the south indian dishes here. Good Taste and also service is worth appreciating. If you are looking out for quick snack or a dinning place for your family or friends this is the right place.
Madras Cafe is one of the best hotels in Bhandup for vegetarians.
Service is quick, fairly priced food, good quantity, good staff and huge sitting place makes it very convenient for the food lovers
A must visit place if you are in Bhandup and even in peak hours you will get space for sitting though the hotel is full.
This place give you impeccable Paneer Chili
I visit only to eat that, sometimes they don't work on quality control thus need to say they get you the good food with apology
Positives -ambience,staff members,
Negatives - Sometimes food quality is compromised
Madras cafe is very close to the station hardly 10 mins.
It is actually famous for South Indian food and its first restaurant in the station area since ages.
I had eaten sada dosa, idli and medu vada and tasted uttapa also.
Here the idli is best ite very soft like it melts in mouth both sambar and chutney is excellent and here you get a variety of dosas.
All the other South Indian menus are amazing.
Here you can get other Indian main courses like roti sabji, rice, Chinese and pav bhaji also.
I had eaten panner chilly which was also good it was soft and the taste was amazing.
One of Bhandup landmark, having a quick breakfast or lunch right near bhandup railway station west, recommended veg cheese grilled sandwich 🥪 😋,they have variety in utthapa,Dosa, For lunch they have thali, should improve in coffee not upto my expectations, overall a good place for family gathering ND couples, children birthday party they have ac section also,Do have a try when in bhandup
The restaurant is located with a walkable distance from Bhandup station, on LBS Rd. Somewhat 200 mts maybe. Restaurant has 2 section non AC that is on the ground floor and AC section that is on the first floor. Not vary spacious, but good place to dine. Place is clean and hygienic, Pocket friendly and good options. Majorly you can be here for a good snacks like dosa and pav bhaji as well as for a meal itself.
Four star's for Good Food, but one star for service and hygiene
*Need to improve on quality of staffing
*No proper infrastructure even though it is newly opened... the quality of table and chairs are not comfortable
*Food does the justice to the pricing
*Afordable restaurant
The only thing I didn't like service and hygiene..
It's really good. The food is nice and wholesome and doesn't cost much considering the quality they provide. The service is really great and the atmosphere is chill. Enjoy a cup of tea with whatever food you like.
Strictly No parking space.
Inside the hotel ambience is Okish not much bad being a oldest in the town.
I ordered mysore masala dosa and pav bhaji. Both dishes were very tasty and flavours of all south indian masalas. I saw people orderinf chinese over here and some lassi too. So if your want chinese + south + Maharashtra style food. Definitely for taste you can visit here. Overall good experience.
