One of the very best Caramel Custard you will find in Mumbai and you can boomerang the jiggle moves it makes when shaken. One of the must haves in Mumbai.
This Place is Located in Matunga, near From Matunga Railway Station. As this Restaurant has Small Dessert Shop too. I love to eat here Crispy Chicken Roll and BBQ Chicken Roll. Pocket Friendly. You should try this Restaurant too.
Nice place to eat good Chinese. I have tried almost everything. Best place for gathering with friends. Value for money. Must try Butter chicken biryani (own style) and try milkshakes.
Me and my cousin went to hang out.
We visited snow point and ordered chicken chilly & chicken triple rice
Chicken chilly was OK,but chilly flavour was missing a bit in dish.
Chicken triple fried rice was in huge quantity.
Best thing in their dishes are that they didn't use any color in the food.
Compare with the price food wasn't worth.
When we school frnds hangout we make a center point location which is dadar and we always choose this restaurant just because it got taste and quantity with adequate quality. It serves veg and jain. Its more or less like 5spice, with same quantity and taste, worth the price. And they have tables outside to enjoy in our own way. Generally people prefer this place and that’s how i came to know abt this restaurant. Its totally worth and give a try.
Snow point, historically known as Gulshan Cafe is located between Dadar and Matunga near Podar College.
It is an Small Outlet basically for Having fine lunch for collegiates. Well, the Ambience looks like they are the Brand Ambassador of Coca-Cola!! You'll know this, only if you visit there!!😌
Mostly I go for Chicken and Paneer Crispy whenever I visit there. I'll say the Best Crispy I ever had is from SP, One must Surely try! Along with it,Chicken Biryani was So damn Amazing!
The Staff was Good and the Service was Quick!
**overall Ratings**
Food:5/5
Ambience:4/5
Staff:4/5
The quantity of the food is very nice. The omlette is amazing. And the Bun Maska And Chai are a must have. Also, Chinese fills the stomach of around 3 people.
Snowpoint is the small outlet which is located between dadar and matunga. What love about this place most is open dining available here.
This outlet serves best rolls like manchurian roll, crispy roll.
Manchurian Roll: Love the manchurian roll because manchurian balls are damn crispy and manchurian gravy is also good.this roll looks very fresh and tastes awesome
Crispy Roll: the stuffing inside is of schezwan.sweet and spicy.good taste.
Pocket friendly,Quick service,Decent place.
Overall not great but very good✌✌.
The best keema pao I’ve ever had. The service is fast, with amazing amount of food. Keema pao is a must try. Will revisit this place soon :)
Best place for low budget..
My favorite thing here is Chinese bhel and black coffee.. Too good and yumm..
Portion of each food is really sumptuous.. Easily 2 people can fill their stomach by a single dish
If u sit out side the coffee u get is double then inside.
Service is good..
being a student of ruia college, i've come here plenty of times, so i can definitely suggest food that will 10/10 be delicious-
chai and bun maska
hunan sauce noodles
chicken biryani
tibb's frankies
custard
apple pie
chicken lollipop with daal tadka and jeera rice
kheema pav
Snow point
Mediocre food
Totally hyped for its vintage ambience and prime location
Taste is good but not worth visiting speciall
Foodie rating- 7.7/10
Snow Point is one of the oldest cafes of Mumbai. The Iranian style cafe offers food at dirt cheap rates. They have two seating options: the outdoor cafe and the indoor restaurant. The food that they offer is delicious and the quantity is amazing!
We tried:
• Chicken Biryani : 3.5
• Veg Biryani: 3.0
• Kheema Pav: 4.0
• Bun Maska: 3.0
• Schezwan Roll: 3.0

Its my all time favourite place. Me and few of my friends visit here oftenly and enjoy our leisure time. The food, quantity and price is all reasonable and amazing. Located amidst the college area of matunga makes it more comfortable and a hangout spot.
Also known as cafe gulshan.
Must try kheema pav, chicken lollipop schzewan style and chicken biryani.
Famous for Chinese cuisine.
Quantity is awesome.
Service is fast but little rude.
i have tried all the deserts over here but the best one is the chocochip brownie. it was simply amazing. talking about the food, it is also nice. but the deserts are amazing💓
Well this place is here since ages...Childhood days we used to be here to get pepsicolas😉😉.
Now most often chai and bun maska...
The kheema paav is simply awesome one of my favourites till date😋..
Other food options also to try for...
Definitely a good place to have a good time with friends...
The place is still the same and I have never seen it change since years. This place is famous among the college students nearby as it is pretty much pocket friendly on the zomato check list. The crispy chicken roll is the best thing on the menu with soft bread and deliciously juicy chicken stuffed on it which is cooked in an Indian Chinese style. The veg crust pattice, paneer roll too are excellent for the vegetarians out there. Coming to desserts, this place sells a variety of desserts but they are not at all fresh as staying on the counter for long they become bad and stale and also this place sells a huge variety of ice-creams which are from cassatas to kulfis. Service is fast but the ambience is a BIG NO NO, as there are hell lot of mosquitoes and flies around so you all need to take care of that. This place is also sharing its seating arrangements with cafe gulistan which has made the space less. I would recommend you all to take the food back home and eat.
Popular among college students in Matunga. Good place to have food. Serves variety of food. Also have bakery items.
Taste is very delicious and very pocket friendly.
Butter chicken was beautifully made.
Must try butter chicken and kheema paav.
Located beside three top colleges of mumbai is the reason of this place being crowded.
I ordered
Chiken Manchaw soup
Fried dal with scrambled egg and Roti
One coffee.
Soup was outstanding.
I have never tasted soup like this before
Besides that
Dal + eggs was average
They could have flavored it with spices. If you are health freak then you'll definitely like it.
COFFEE
As you guys know I am big bug of coffee.
Just looking at conc. And contain of coffee you'll flattered.
I would not say perfect but it satisfied me.
Hope you have a good time
Have a Great day :)
Located at 5mins walking distance from
Station That is when we discovered this place . The place was crowded with 4-5 customers. The place looked hygienic so we all went in and tried few ice cream's . We ordered kesar pista and roasted almond , both were average .
Location 3.5/5
Service 3.5/5
Ice cream 3.5/5
Nice place mostly crowded with college students! Has various options to choose from! Would recommend for snacks and pastries, anything else is average!
Came for an office lunch. Superb feel of a college canteen meshed into an Irani cafe.. Started with a mutton patty followed by 2rounds of entrees on veg and non veg side.. My favs were keema pav.. Washed down with masala soda.. The dessert was a simple Caramel custard which seems small but is quite heavy... All in all a lunch visit of 6 people costed barely 1300 bucks.. I think I'll be coming here again..
I wouldn't have attended half the lectures I did in college, if it weren't for this place. One of my few motivation factors to attend college,I love the Chinese served here (the Indian Chinese variety ofc). They also have a ready to eat kinda section filled with rolls, puffs and baked goodies. This rolls, pastries and desserts are more of a hit and miss. Sometimes good. Sometimes bad. They have almost every kind of ice cream available in India it seems. It's so hard to choose sometimes ! Everything is priced economically being a college hangout kinda place. Service not bad. The head of staff here remembers my usual order by heart so that's a plus point ! There's a thing called 'Mexican panini' available here. Please DO NOT buy it. I had throw it away. Worst thing I've tasted probably. Try anything else other than that. VFM place.
Located in the same campus as cafe Gulshan , this is the desert outlet of Gulshan. It serves really yummy cakes and deserts. The ice creams are also worth giving a try
Went for some work in Matunga East & I felt like eating something on a busy afternoon. Just entered in this place to have some quick bites & I found it ideally awesome for the people who love to eat fast food & simple desserts. Place is really nice to try some snacks & other main course dishes. It is crowded most of the times as there are 2-3 colleges & banks nearby. But still you will enjoy your eating experience. The menu have very long list of ice creams of different varieties so many call it ice cream parlour & it's attached with Café Gulshan so both the places serve both the menu.
This is my all time favorite place.. Great food..always crowded. Any dish is satisfying.. I have been visiting it since my college and the quality is maintained the same..
dis place is a mix of 2 extremes..one thing can b excellent and the next can be an absolute let down..the dessert selection is good and so are the rolls..d deal breaker is it might not b as fresh at it looks..but surely go try your luck!
Snow point is a good option for desserts and affordable too. have tried chocolate and red velvet cupcakes, both were average. Red velvet pastry was better as it was soft and perfectly sweet. Paneer roll I liked the most as it had ample amount of soft paneer and it was filling as well.
It's basically an extension of Gulshan snd serve both menus. But Snow Point is basically where they serve puffs, sandwichs, frankies and a variety of pastries. Their chicken garlic puff is my favourite. Their sandwiches are alright.
They used to serve some really good pasta which they stopped sadly.
Since its located near three colleges it's crowd consists mainly of college students.
Snow point is located right next to my favorite place i.e. Gulshan Cafe. It offers pastries, puff, Frankie and more.. The Chicken Frankie is juicy and sumptuous with good quantity and great quality. You get a range of pastries to choose from.. My personal Favourite is The Red Velvet pastry which is soft as velvet and perfect in taste.. They even have the Ice Cream Sandwich which is awesome.. Apple pie is nice..
I'm in love with the variety out here
Best place to visit if you have a sweet tooth .... What if its a street food joint ... The cakes are much better than other bakeries and the new variety in ice creams will leave u awestruck and wanting more
(My usual style of review is not used due to this place almost being a street food joint, its not exactly one but its something between that and a restaurant)
I remember myself just out of school and coming to seek admission in my to be college Podar. Always in love with food and especially pâtisserie my eyes easily spotted Snow point and on the very first day i found myself here digging into its Chicken Pattice (which would soon become my favorite).
Snow point is to Cafe Gulshan what a side car was to the Bajaj Chetak. Though different names they served a joint menu. At snow point you can find mouth watering rolls, Beautiful Pastries, Yummy pattices and Tibbs ka Franky.
Snow point is a must visit for every podarite/ruiaite and believe whether you want it or not at some point in your college life you will end up here.....Bon Appétit
Chinese is very good.. The quantity is so good dat even 2 people who love chicken or paneer cannot finish it.. And the rates r very reasonable compared to the quantity.. Starters n main course for 4 ppl wil cost at around 900 which is affordable..
If u want to have a quick breakfast or lunch or dinner..then this is the place..
The food over here has the irani taste...the menu is simple..butthe taste is mouth meltin..
People goin for breakfast, do try double omlette and chai-bun-maska..
Hunan sauce served here is delicious..
Though very near to the famois colleges, you will alwaz find a place to sit..
And the prices are cheap..so anyone can easily hop in and have a heavy lunch at minimum cost..
Had gone for a bird exhibition world of the wings and found this place on the way was feelung hungry so juz went there for quick bite had chicken garlic malai roll and sprite n tibbs frankie....nice descent food...
It's just the extension of gulshan
Rolls and desserts are tasty
Light on pocket too
Good for college students!
Earlier they had Italian food counter as well, the cheese garlic bread and pasta in white sauce was good, they should reopen it
The rolls are usually fresh and tasty!
Those good ol' Junior College times came back to me today! Snow point adjoining Cafe Gulshan at Matunga! Frankly speaking, I was just passing by and I saw the crispy chicken roll! And if you've been to Gulshan you ought to love it's Crispy Chicken! It's just out of the world! Like nowhere do you get that! So I had that roll after which the only thing I regretted was that I hadn't ordered a bowl of chicken crispy! And the icecream soda which is quite good n the icecream sandwich
This place is sooo pocket friendly with variety of dishes.. From hot rolls, pastries, noodles, fried rice, butter chicken and what not.. Ambiance is not great but the taste, service, price top the chart
Gulshan has been our regular hangout place for a long time, our breakfast point u can say the place serves amazing kheema pav which i personally i have each time i visit the place, apart from this the chinese is ok too,bun maska too is good in here. The rolls too are ok and the food is decently priced in here .Overall a great place to chillout with friends and enjoy food .EnJoy Eating
A regular college idlying place like a perennial hangout
after a revisit had friends visit along and brought back our nostalgic memories
quick bitings available in the deli type counters provides value for money snacks
adjacent irani restaurant makes a setting for a great ambience for chilling with tea and burun maska ,
kheema is really great with dal and bread bun..
a total visit for now forgotten college themes
Snowpoint is an extension of Gulshan cafe and offers a host of rolls, veg and meat, frankies, pastries and cup cakes.. It's a popular college student hangout for its decently priced ready to eat food.
This place has been a regular hangout for me for the last 5 years. Most of my college days were spent at dis place. Call it snowpoint or Gulshan, the name would not alter the taste of mouth watering food served here.
Their best offering is their chicken crispy with a correct blend of sugar n spice n ofcourse anything that is chicken has to be inviting. Even the roast chicken fried rice is worth a try. In fact u can have evrything out here without complaining. This place gives VFM as great food is served in enormous portions. They also have decent desert section.
All in all i would recommend if u r someone who weighs taste over sophistication and class.
Been here many times but have no idea why i did not review it. Maybe bcos it is Cafe Gulshan and not exactly Snow Point that serves the fast food. Please see pic of cover of menu card.
This is a place for VFM food due to the Quantity alone. If you are looking for "tasty" food then this certainly is not the place.
However there are a few dishes served that are good. Kheema pav, i heard, is really good but have never tried it.
My son likes the crispy chicken here. It is prepared well with good pieces. A bit on the sweet side. It tastes good.
Wife n me normally take manchow soup (1by2) and usually it is very good.
Today we tried Gulshan special chic rice and found it devoid of any flavor.
The usual group of staff were missing. Usually the food tastes better than today but today surely the food and the quality were bad. I hope this does not continue.
The crowd that comes here is mainly from Welinkars and Podar and Ruia college and from around.
Ambience - 3.5/5
Quality - 3/5
Quantity - 4/5
VFM - 4/5 just for quantity
Can do so much better. Quality surely needs to be given importance.
Have been here 2 times and both times I've only had their kheema rice dish.Very well sized dish filled with a mix of rice and (I believe and hope) meat kheema.Exquisite taste and enough to fill up the fatest of people :)
If you short on cash n wanna enjoy stomach full meal this is the place to visit.
Ambience is average as its a small place..bit bhaisaheb khana is zabardast so itne paise me itnaich milega!!!
Superb kheema pav they serve and best part is they serve half dishes as well.
A Very Very popular joint and if you are a Matunga Resident, you WILL know about this place for sure. Its a popular student loved Chinese joint.
What you can eat here: Food. And survive
What you should avoid?: Water. Yep I'm not too sure about it.
Food is spicy and okay. And the quantity is ALOT. Mind it you won't be able to finish your stuff alone so make sure you bring some company.
Its a road joint. So if you're ever-sophisticated guy/girl you might not be able to live with this one.
Cheers;)
Best place for snacks🍔🍟🍗, Chinese🍲🍜🍝🍛🍱, black coffee☕🍵, ice cream 🍨🍧🍦,cake🎂🍰 All in once package.. You also get indian gravy's with chapati. Pocket and budget friendly. Bring here since mote than 8 years but never the taste has changed.
Food is ok but the vibes are good . quantity is good for two person Chinese is like local street wala
....outdoor indoor seating available..eating options u get . Rolls ,pastry , donuts etc .. icecream got good variety.
Snowpoint is famous amongst the college going kids in Matunga. Served quality food with decent prices. Keema Pav, Burji Pav and Deserts are amazing over here.
It is such a beautiful place. The quantity of the food is amazing. Loved it.
Nice place to visit and have some meal!
This place will charm the older generation and the new generation. I will call it old school cafe, where old school will always survive.
Now coming to the food, it was somewhat mixed, the reason being some of the items we ordered were really good and few other below par.
The Chinese food order was good, the biryani was the best. I had ordered chicken and mutton patties which did not impress me at all, just very very ordinary.
P.S: Do have the lemon tea, it was fantastic.
Good Cozy place in the heart of Matunga East with lots of eating options. Its a Irani Cafe with a small portion dedicated to selling knick knacks known as Snow Point. You get pastries, ice cream, non veg & veg food.Youngsters prefer hanging out here as there are 3 huge colleges around
Dal pav is amazing 👏. Chicken biryani is taste. Neat and clean space. They serve half portions which is monies worth for people sharing or eating alone.
One of the few Irani joints left in the city. Interestingly they have adapted to the needs of the new generation too, to cater to the youngsters of the nearby colleges. Still, the old charm, taste, ambiance, service and the typical language is intact.
The food menu is the same as Gulshan Cafe. Apart from that, there are many more options such as veg & non-veg patties, veg & non-veg frankies, veg & non-veg rolls. All these delicacies are great value for money.
