Great Food! But they have Shady Lights. Great Ambience.... Love their food and they have a lot of dishes on their Menu! Plus great place to hang out with Friends for some Hard Drinks!
I have tried their chicken lollypop and i must say they were very delicious ๐ and yumm. I have also tried chicken crispy was absolutely tasty. Will visit again

Chicken tandoori is really good and delicious.
The chicken used is soft and fresh it is marinated with proper Indian spices.
The daal and rice is also good.
Best bar in that area in terms of food and service... kalimiri tandoori is best amongst other starters...Arabic tandoori follows if you are looking for some better n different taste in tandoors... service is prompt.... ambience is peaceful...if you want to enjoy couple of drinks with good food and ambience this the place u should visit.

I am always looking out for drinking bars which are popular with locals of the area. Overhearing conversations of nearby tables at these bars helps a tourist to experience flavour of day to day life of a local. Two star is one such bar.
The place is crowded mostly by locals. Don't expect to find corporate crowd here. The place is not very brightly lit, and simple wooden chairs and tables are used.
The place is run by a father and his two sons. They are extremely customer oriented. I wanted to eat salad of red carrot and reddish which the restaurant did not have in stock. The owner sent someone to market nearby and made sure we got what we wanted.
Beer served was aptly chilled, and waiter was attentive, yet unobtrusive. We also tried egg bhurji and omelette in food. Simply made and good taste.
The restaurant also has an outside area, where a few plastic chairs and a fan are placed. Lots of greenery. But you are not allowed to sit there with your drink.
Rs.200 (including tax) for a bud bottle (mrp 150) is true value for money. Go here to sip beer and experience local day to day culture.

Best place in the locality for cheap food and alcohol! Friendly staff, food is average! Alot of alcohol options as well! If has a inner section for people who want privacy as well!
This used to be my and our hang out place after shift for quick drink and dinner. They have outside seating, indoor seating Non-AC and AC section. Its been almost many years that haven't been to this place. We were very regular customers of this place when liquor used to be cheap from 2007-2012 (Around 120 for bottle of Carlsberg). They serve delicious food too indian, chinese etc.
Its a famous bar in whole of Santacruz East, especially among College folks and Night owls. 90% of the time you will have young crowd no uncles with their boring outlook.
Drinks are ok, I would avoid drinking/eating during festivals as it can be heavily crowded.
There is a AC section too normally for family members.
Overall Good with decent crowd.

Great place when u are having heavy pockets. Quite place to get drunk. Food is very tasty. Service was average. Having variety in chineese and punjabi dishes. Place away from station need vechile to reach here. Waiters very well know what kind a dish they serve. Sitting is somewhat conjested after getting drunk. Being a bar foodie people will love to have food here. Manchow soup is awesome. Try out tandoori was fantabulus. Alcoholic people try kheecha papad.

A favorite among students and young professionals living in the area. The ambiance may not be all that inviting but it covers up with its low costs and good service. The simple butter chicken and the chicken patiala are highly recommended with a drink of your choice won't cost you more than 300 bucks. So all in all a great place to catch up with dinner and drinks (especially at the end of the month). And a non ac and ac section to suit your preference, though the AC area is small.

Two star is a decent place if you relish spicy Indian dishes skewed towards south indian style cooking especially with the curry/masala. The home delivery is good even for the order of a single dish. The quantity delivered is also more than sufficient for one person.

I do not know from where to start with. This place is one of my favorite place in Mumbai. Whenever we go, we go in group. I like cheese garlic naan very much along with chicken lolypop. Really a nice place to be with friends.
It's one of the best and very popular Restaurant and Bar in Kalina area. It serves amazing veg and nonveg dishes along with liquor. Dishes that should not be missed are ....Murg Mussalam with Naan.... Chicken Kalimiri Kabab.... Chicken lolly pop......Egg Masala.....Veg Jaipuri. The staff is friendly and gives a very good service. It's a neat and clean restaurant ๐
Today i had checked in at Two Star Restaurant with my church friends to have lunch. We asked the waiter what is the best at the restaurant for main course and he suggested us 2 chicken item and those 2 chicken items gravy that we ate with naan was very tasty. Apart from the main course we also had chicken lollipops. The service was quick and the AC oriented ambience was also enjoyable. Through price was also very affordable. Greatly Recommended
I recently visited Hotel Two Star and was pleasantly surprised by the experience.

It's just a normal bar, but the plus point is the food it was pretty tasty, that was quite unexpected to us and another good thing was it was a very calm n quite place.

Two Star has been a 5 star for the Kalina Boys since ages. I have seen it transform from a small place to a place where now Families are welcome like home.
Pros - Awesome Location, right in the market area. The food is awesome, the ambience is good but can be improved. No worries though, the staff is good and will provide good service.
Cons - Gets crowded on the weekends, especially On Friday, Saturday. This makes service a bit late, again, no worries.
Please order for home delivery, in case you're not visiting. You'll not be disappointed.

A lovely evening at Two Star yesterday...the food is amazing ..we tried their Kebabs and it was really tasty. The highlight was the Murg Musallam with garlic naan ..a instant hit with all of us...

Owners Arvind and Anish are gems, ask them to tell you a few stories about their daily life at 2 Star, they are super hilarious ๐. The food is delicious, we have been going here since childhood days. A must go if you are in and around Kalina.
