While wandering along the station road at Dadar, came across Chetan Bar & Kitchen.
A chalk board outside highlighted the specials which had a lot of Mangalorean sea food. The menu had a vast variety of options from varied cuisines but I thought of trying a Mangalorean dish since the restaurant specialized in it.
Tried the Squid Masala with some Neer Dosa. The masala was fiery red and had a good amount of spice. A nice squeeze of lime cut through the heat and just enhanced the flavour of the dish. A delicious dish and perfect for spicy food lovers.
The Neer Dosa was thin and light and paired perfectly with the squid masala.
Best part is that it's a bar and hence could calm the spice with the coolness of the beer.
A must visit restaurant for some good spicy sea food.

Nice place to have a glass of beer and sea food ...price is affordable. Service is also good in short nice place to go and relax after work if you work near by Dadar .
A very decent place with AMAZING QUALITY of food. Very extra ordinary place since it's expensive. But didn't take much time for my order.
Also the Ambience is good not very extra. Just like any normal HI-FI restaurants.
I really loved the food also I was very hungry. The waiters who served us were very kind. Also one important thing, if you're planning to go with any dineout discount, call them and confirm the booking!! Because this didn't work for us.

One of the best place to hangout with Friends or Family. Service was good. Food was testy. We order Chicken Tandoor Lollypop, Chicken Tikka Chatpata, Chicken Crispy in starts. And Chicken Tikka Biryani in main course.
I had few hours to spare before my Shatabthi train to Aurangabad at Dadar station so stopped by here after seeing good google reviews. Yes, it was actually a better choice where you can get premium drinks also a great variety of non veg starters. Also had biriyani which tasted very great. A must place to chill out with a cool beer and Easy walk to train terminals!

I visited this place with my friends. From the name bar & kitchen, i didn't expect too much from the ambience hut i was totally wrong.
This place is awesome & have a pleasant atmosphere, loved it.

1.veg fried rice

3. Veg crispy
4. Chicken seekh Kebab
5. Fruit punch.
All the dishes were good & worth.
Went on Saturday night..Crowd was nice..the staff which attended our table was very polite.. we asked him for his suggestion for starter and main course.. his recommendations were bang on..
We ordered Banjaara Kabab, Chicken Roasted in Hongkong Sauce & veg Hakka Noodles.. Also Peach Ice Tea is just awesome.. The rates are bit high..

This place is very near from dadar station. Very convenient. Coming to the food, we ordered chicken Tikka biryani & virgin mojito. Biryani was yummy. Very tasty & perfect & One of the best Virgin mojito I ever had. This is must visit place if you want to try some delicious & tasty food.

Small place near Dadar station with good non veg food and budget friendly for drinks as well. Not recommended for a big group as they have limited seating space. Overall a good experience with good food and service.

Chetan is a nice family restro bar.A/C and Non/Ac both are having attractive interior decor.Well furnished with good lighs.It's located right opposite to station very easy to reach there.Haven't found a replacement of chicken rara masala anywer else.

A good place to hangout with your friends. There are two sections to this place , one is the family room and one the the bar. You can order alcohol even in the Family room. The food is quite good. The Chicken Tandoori was exceptional and a must try on the menu along with the butter chicken. Although the staff was not rude but they weren't very friendly either or very eager to suggest anything on the menu.... That was a Small drawback .... The place is located right next to Dadar Station so it is very accessible. Overall Experience was good.
This renovated bar has grabbed so many customers...the credit goes all to their food and the interior... i am the regular customer over there and the fish thali with neer dosa is their speciality ....one who loves to sit in a regular kind of a bar must try...worth the Money...!!!

Chetan bar and kitchen - a typical Mangalorian restaurant.
I have always loved the butter chicken and naan. Though the butter chicken is not the authentic sweet butter chicken.This butter chicken is little spicy but I have always liked it.
As a Mangalorian myself I am not very fond of the Kori roti (it is a very popular Mangalorian dish) but my non Mangalorian friends seem to love it.
What I would highly recommend one to try here is Fish Pullimunchi
( The literal translation is Pulli - tamarind & munchi - chilli)
If you love spicy food and fish you should try this.
They have done up the place quite well but if you still don't feel comfortable they are pretty prompt with their home delivery service.
well this is a typical mumbai bar अणि restaurant type place and having cheap booze with my friend was damn good.Its cheap and it was kinda fun to explore this typical place. The food was good. Ofcourse u cant expect a polished service here but the service was good and the waiters cared a lot.
Mangalorian Dish Rocks Neer dosa,Gassi(fish) .... So yummy U can't say enough.also Fish starters koliwada's,squids are sum rocking speciality.Do try the green apple mojito Mocktail.Thank U for A very wonderful experience.

Very nyc food... little congested as it is located near dadar railway station. Service is good. I tried burnt chicken chilly which was yummy. Must visit place in dadar! Highly recommended
Another surprise place. For the economy and the food and service quality.
The place was jam packed and hardly had a place to even keep a foot. Allotted table with complete strangers and it was a first of its kind experience.
Prompt service. The only let down being the chargeable peanuts/chakli with the drinks.
Pahadi Murg was my pick and I was delighted I selected it. Accompanied by a masala chutney and coleslaw, the chicken were very well marinated apart from being fresh and juicy. Quantity was worth the price.
An evening of 180ml liquor, peanuts, chakli, soda and plate full of Pahadi Murg costed just 500 bucks!!!
The hotel is small with AC and non-AC division. Special for sea food. Simply trust me they have very yummy veg. Food was nicely presented and prepared. Prawns Biryani was to die for. Staffs are very, very attentive though. Do give this place a visit!

It was evening some days back me and my friends thought of popping in to " Chetan Bar & Kitchen
" for a quick drink The name was pullin as a back but it was the interiors which pulled us in It had both Ac and non Ac enclosures, we thought of going in for budget as you know month end ;) We were planning to place the order and guess what amazed us ... There were old fashioned glasses which you would find in premium pubs instead of the regular glasses Not only that that they served water with mint leaves in it Now it was the time to place order and we ordered some whiskey which was prices very reasonable Food is what got us High that evenin as whatever we ordered was yummmm My recommendation go for Chicken Mallipulam Singapore paneer tikka And neer dosa Here's 5 star to this amazing place which has so much detailing in terms of the decor, styling of the food and presentation and well dressed and behaved staff

I happened to see this restaurant on my way somewhere and was pretty much excited to visit this new place. To my surprise this place was there since ages and i never bat my eye to it until now. Voilaa! Thanks to the catchy and astonishing renovation!
Finally was able to visit it today and here's how it fared...
Food:
Went there for couple of drinks, but the chicken chilly starter turned out good! Looked delicious upfront to be honest. I wish to try to more of the main course next time i visit.
Ambience:
Wonder what is the best thing that happened for Chetan? Renovation! Big time! The renovation has changed the ambience by 200% if i am allowed to exaggerate lol! Gone are those days when it appeared no less than a regular tacky bar!
Now you have a proper interiors and cutlery that match the reputation of a good bistro!
Service:
Had a pretty decent service on my visit! But yes, it might get slow as the crowd gets in late night! However all the waiters , @they are prompt!
Pricing:
Biggest pro that chetan has to offer! Beats any of the bar in the locality hands down when it comes to pricing! One wouldnt mind spending those many bucks having been able to enjoy his time in such ambience. Cheap booze!
Definitely recommended if you happen to be near dadar station (E). And btw the place is wide open till 1 am! Feel free to visit! ✌👐
Visited this Restaurant after a tired long day.The interior inside the Restaurant is impressive.Had Fruit punch,Pot Rice,Chicken Banjara Kabab though Pot rice was a bit spicy.Over all Awesome Service,Quality food at a affordable price.Will surely visit again.

This Restaurant categorize itself in between family bar and restaurant & a typical bar.
There is an ac section for family members which houses females sometimes.
Outside section is mostly filled with uncles and young boys having a drink all day.
Food is great. Rates are awesome considering Dadar. Overall an amazing place to chill out with your boy guys.

Visited this place by chance as it was near our hotel But the family room was surprisingly good , the service was prompt and the food tasted very good. Highly recommended for konkan style food for both veg and meat/ fish lovers.

A great place to dine in with 3 different sections 1 for regular Non-AC, 2nd is AC and 3rd is Family section. Easy to locate, at a stone throw distance from the Dadar Railway Station. Good food, good service, great ambience.
Located very close to Dadar station (East exit) the restaurant has a vast menu which serves variants of Indian cuisine (North Indian, South Indian, Chinese etc) they serve excellent sea food served in Kerala, North Indian, Manglorean and Goan style... The place also serves reasonably priced alcohol and the service is prompt and polite.
