The place is good for pocket friendly and quality food
I’m impressed with the hospitality of this place and even with the food quality and quantity, so decided to write a review.
I went to this place with my mom and dad.
Let me make it short and sweet.
Mom : pomfret fry thali
Dad : mutton masala fry
Me : butter chicken
Karan and Sunil who served were kind and helpful.
Even the owner or the person on counter keeps check on table.
Value for money
Good Quality and quantity
Pocket friendly
Excellent food at reasonable rates. Half tandoori and chicken masala total bill 350!!!! In today's world great food at this rate is rare
Lovely food always recommend for pocket friendly crowd.
Best hotel for late night South Indian non-vegetarian food in Dadar. Do try Mandeli fry, bombil fry and Chicken masala with Bhakri. Sol kadi is an add on, don't miss. Quite small and crowded always but as far as you're hungry it's serving your purpose.
I went there on a weekday. The place was pretty crowded. The ambience was soothing and good. I ordered for a break fry dish. It was good and tasty. Worth each penny.
Randomly ended up here on a Saturday evening on a friend’s suggestion. This place is very modest, with simple seating and small area. The proper lunch home vibes. Prawns Biryani was amazing! The mutton wajadi thali was great too. The prices are the best part of this place! Super affordable for people who was to eat proper Lalwani seafood without burning huge holes in their pockets!
food quality was good...the cost is cheaper than other restaurants around yet the food is good and service is quick... strongly recomended...
Firstly, lets take out a minute to appreciate the name of the restaurant. Never in my nine lives will I ever think of a name so creative . Furthermore, it does justice to the food there. How you are with your friends is how the sambhar tastes with the dosa. I would really go for it. And in case you don't like it, judge yourself not the restaurant. Thats my time guys.
When you're broke, mentally, emotionally, or just out of cash, a meal at Sujay is happiness guaranteed.
The food is great. Especially the dragon chicken gravy, the butter chicken, the dal tadka and the bombil fry.
The service is exceptional, and the staff go out of their way to satisfy you.
Go early, as it gets crowded at lunch.
This place is to nearby my office so we are going here very frequently. tiny place with basic ambience not a first class hotel but food here is a first class and service too, especially service provided by waiter Sunil. the quantity they provide for that price is awesome, they serve malvani dishes which doesn't taste like malvani but chinese dishes they serve is great try chicken noodles soup, chicken munchow rice and mixed fried rice, prawn masala is tastes good too. Dal khichdi is also very delicious.Total value for money you can't find any restaurant who provide best quantity with cheap price with good taste in that area.
Recomanded......
Service : 5/5 (the star provided is for waiter sunil only)
Taste : 4/5
Ambience : 2.5/5
Value for money : 5/5
It's the cheapest and closest sea food place to office... Have been a regular patron at Sujay for over 2 years now. While the food may not be as great as a Jai Hind, but it's value for money and the quality of food served is also good. Good place for a quick and cheap meal
Swastat mast...taste is good quantity also good ...chicken schezwan rice would be a best choice to eat ... But delivery is too late...value for money
Fantastic Place to eat Malwani food. Bombil fry is yum. Try prawn Sukka, chicken fried rice and don't forget to take soul Kadi. Order to your liking if you are close to Dadar and they are easy on wallet as well.
One of the best restaurant to ask for a parcel if you feel Munchie.. :D :D xD
I mostly order Chicken Hakka noodles or Chicken Fried rice.. Quantity is enough for the cost and so is the quality.
Life Savers!
This is one of those little places to eat where you should walk in for some delicious comfort food, when absolutely not in the mood to cook, and when you are feeling too lazy to dress up for a fancy restaurant. My personal favorite here is the gift from heaven named bombil fry, which comes searing hot on your plate to remind you that absolutely nothing can be wrong with the world! With a crispy coat and a soft delicious flesh, it can cheer you up on any bad day. Even the rotis and subzis are good enough for a meal.
Small seating area but recently they installed Air Conditioning and made it very comfortable to dine there in hot summers.
Food is above average and you'll definitely not leave the place disappointed (don't expect great seafood. I'd stick to regular Chicken Thali as their SeaFood disappointed me many times).
Owner plays some nice 70s to 90s bollywood tracks and it sets the vibe (for me at least).
They accept cash, UPI and also cards.
There is no restroom in this restaurant.
Wheelchair accessibility is not there.
I would recommend their Chicken Fry Thali.
Also yes, thalis are not Punjabi/Dhaba style preparations and that is great about their thalis.
Nice food .infact lady owner invited us while we were searching for good restaurants near our office ...since we were speaking in Tulu and she heard us 😁
Your search for the best malwani food ends here. Do try their thali's if you're hopping in.
Chinese food was very good, even chicken handi was best
This us non AC hotel n a small place. Highly conjusted. Everything can be tolerated since the food is heart winner. Awesome is not enough to say. It's was mouth watering, yymmyyyyu superb plus cheap. This place is awesome for seafood since it was fresh. My friends ordered veg Chinese n they were upset because that was not good.
Good tasty food (Veg & Non-veg), good service, value for money. Only issue is space. Dining place is hardly 150 sq ft where the tables are crammed. But the food and quality experience more than compensates the feeling.
Tasty food options. This place is small but packs serious punch when it comes to tasty food. You should try lunch thali options specially chicken thali. And once you are done have a glass of solkadi. But the best part comes at the end, this place is so affordable that 4 people can have proper dinner under rs 800.
Itz is small hotel but the food is awesome. I like the food, whatever it may be veg or non-veg. i would suggest the place for nonveg kokani food lovers. Have fish thali and I am sure your taste buds will be happy with the tasty food and tummy with the quantity. Value for money. Must palce to visit.
Hotel Sujay is love. I have been eating at Sujay since 2018, they have been serving great budget friendly food. Taste has been same from last year.
Loved the place. Small but cosy restaurant. Prebooking for tables available. Home food delivery available. Take aways available. No Pay and Park facility. Staff is friendly. Try out the crispy chicken and paneer makhani if looking for class is food.
The best restaurant in dadar and prabhadevi...good .tasty food..value for money...great staff and ow ner..keep it up..
