Went to the BMC Jumbo Covid Vaccination Center. I went without pre registration. What we require is just a photo and address ifdentity card.. Got into the que. It took 1 3/4 hours to reach the registration counter. Once the registration is done, you are allotted a vaccination counter number. There are plenty of vaccination counters - more than 25. You get the jab and then you have to wait in the observation hall for 30 minutes to see whether you are getting any immediate reaction. It was a Covid Treatment Centre earlier which they have converted to a vaccination center now. I think that it would have taken the same time in other centers also. What one regrets is the non- observation of social distancing at any time and anywhere there and no attempt by the staff to maintain that discipline. What I liked was that almost everyone was wearing face mask . There were a few who were wearing the facemask as a necklace. I think that the staff should fine them on the spot.

Located just inside the city limits, Dahisar is the northernmost neighborhood (and railway station) of Mumbai. Dahisar is the first locality of Mumbai from the north. On the Mumbai Suburban Railway, (which is part of the Indian Western Railway line,) that runs from Churchgate to Virar, Dahisar is immediately north and next to the populous suburb of Borivali, which has a train station of the same name. After Dahisar, when travelling northwards on the Churchgate - Virar Western Railway line the immediate next railway station or stop is Mira Road station. The 'Dahisar Check- Naka' is a toll station at Dahisar (East) that marks the end of Mumbai, on the Western Express Highway. There is a record of continuous habitation since the 1630s, as per parish records of the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Dahisar was originally a part of Thane District; it became a part of Mumbai in the 1956
