I went unplanned to this dainty looking place situated bang opposite the Borivali West railway station. The location is prime and hence ends up attracting a lot of passers by.
Hungry as hell that I was, out of the varied range of dishes they serve (Check their menu for further details), I tried their punjabi thali which was not just value for money but also finger licking delicious.
Priced decently at Rs. 150/- only, the thali consisted of the following:
Salad, pickle, two veggies (Aloo Palak and mixed veg.), dal, 3 chapattis, rice, cure and a piece of Rasgulla.
The portion size of the veggies and dal was enough to fulfill not just 1 but 2 empty stomachs.
Service was prompt. Ambience was like any typical Udupi restaurant.
If you are fan of fast food then I guess you should visit this place. Opposite to borivali west station it serves you very tasty food and the service is very quick. The rates are pretty reasonable and staff also treats well, so one can afford to go with family. They also have a Franky stall out which is a part of restaurant and provide very tasty frankies. My favorites were pav bhajji, tava pulav and masala dosa. Overall a good place to visit.
This is very near to Borivali Railway Station west. You will get mostly all type of food. This is 5 mins walking distance from borivali station. We ate main course. There is 2 section AC and Non AC. Little bit space constraints. Veg Khima masala we ate and butter naan. This is reasonable not costly. Crowd is like market public.
Best part of this place is that it’s right opposite to railway station & it opens early. Yesterday we had our breakfast here. We had to go to Essel World, but before going to Gorai Ferry, we thought let’s have breakfast & go. So we came to this place for breakfast.
We had here sada dosa, idli, watermelon juice, anar juice & cold coffee.
They serve South Indian dishes with jain sambhar only.
Idli & dosa were good. Juices were good.
Cold coffee was yummy.
Ambience is basic.
Service is good.
It’s light on pocket & was worth visiting.
A small but good vegetarian restaurant near borivali station West side. Have been here for lunch sometimes. The taste is good and the food is freshly prepared. Their roti and sabji options are good. Rice items are also nice

when u are on Borivali station find this place fast service good food best place near by station.Must try pav bhaji and Panneer Pulav.Good Food with great rates.
This is very Good Restaurant near Borivali Railway Station jus near to Borivali Station west. Staff support is very nice polite. Food quality was very nice. Quality was also Good. There are 2 sections in hotel AC and Non AC. AC is upper side. Hotel maintained nicely though small in size. Also one Best think like here that there is now GST on Bill. This is said by owner when we asked for GST Charge for AC sections. May be the prices of items include GST prices and not include in final bill. Whatever we like hotel and prices also reasonable. Must try Restaurant when hungry and late to reach home and if paying by Borivali Station towards home. One think only I don't like is Butter Naan and Kulcha we orderred looking same and also same in taste. Don't know what's happened with making of it. Also checked in bill if the have listened wrongly but in bill it was written naan and Kulcha with different prices. Means Naan and Kulcha you will get same here :P. So I reduce half star in overall ratings. Or else Must visit Restaurant. We orderred Paneer Peshawari main course and Dal Rice there. Quality and quality was awesome for Food items. Recommended to everyone. Thanks hotel manager. We loved your hotel. Keep it up! Soon revisit again.
The place is situated just opp to borivali railway station vry easy to find .All types of food are available .The staff is good and service is vry fast . The food is also good@The Food Therapy™ Aakash Mishra Chiragdutta94
A decent place to visit. Pocket friendly. Good Udupi restaurant. Bit of a conjusted place. A very old restaurant in borivali west. Good place to visit if you have are low on budget.
Tried Pav Bhaji and Idli. Both were quite decent. in a busy crowded road opposite the station this seems to be a fairly good choice. Service was also good.
After a tiring day at Bandra Fair, we went to Borivali for some work and saw this small joint in the vicinity of Borivali Station. Ordered a Special Thali and a Jain thali. The food took a bit of time to arrive but it was very warm.
The Special thali had one Paneer Sabzi (i dnt knw it was a bit sweet but it had something in it at the end which made me have more and more), a mix veg sabzi really tasted like it was made at home amazing, a thick daal which was very warm and it was of perfect consistency as that is how i like my daal, one papad, three butterless rotis(we dnt like tandoor and we eat no/less butter), curd, one sweet (nice and tasty gulab jamun) and a pulao. The pulao was good and very warm. I had too literally blow some air on the food to cool the food down.
The jain thali differed only in sabzis and instead of pulao it had plain steamed rice and rest all were same. It had black eyed peas sabzi and one chana sabzi which was again like a home cooked sabzi.
The best part was that the food was warm and not lukewarm and I was a bit sceptical about my stomach getting bloated after having such a scrumptous meal like at other restaurants. But to my surprise that wasnt the case. A good place to try out their thalis and south Indian cuisine as I was hearing a lot of south indian food being ordered but the place is crammed though with not so comfortable chairs and tables and nothing to talk about their ambiance but I truely enjoyed their special thali and Jain thali. Would love to try their Punjabi thalis (also would click some photoes the next time as we were too tired to take any pics and also the fact that we never thought that this restaurant would be listed on Zomato).
Pros:
1. Good warm food.
2. Nice taste.
3. Not that slower service.
Cons:
1. Ambiance.
2. Seating arrangements.
PS: Zomato, Please update the food menu, as the rates have increased by 10-20 rupees atleast on the thali.
****JAIN FOODIE****
I don't know why it's so under-rated but whenever I have checked in and whatever I have ordered from the menu offered it's always delicious.... If ambience is to be ignored then this place is very much pocket friendly, easily located, tasty to dine in
