Had an event here recently and I couldn't be happier. The owners were a delight and the staff was super helpful and greeted everyone with a smile. Visited the place a month ago. It was packed when I visited the place on Friday evening. The ambiance is wow. The service is cordial. Food is awesome.
Gunpowder fries were awesome. Crispy and delicious. Pizza has its own flavour. Kappa biryani with a perfect feel of mutton was as good as you can ask for. A South Indian touch to their cuisine.

The Chill Maadi cocktail was awesome! Chilli chicken and Nachos were good in quantity for the price. Ambience is chill, staff is hospitable. Could not try the South Indian food as my friend is a 'hater' in their menu terms, will surely try next time I visit.

My most favourite go to hangout bar in the heart of Khar!
The interiors of the bar are very creatively done up with a fun colourful touch of South India. It has an outside space which is surrounded by some cute plants and earthy textured walls and seating. Their inside section is a little more formal and turns into a groovy dance floor as the night proceeds!
As for the delightful cocktails I would recommend
1. Capi Madras (filter coffee flavoured vodka)
2. The Payassam shot is a must try (your Baileys shot couldn’t get better than this )
3. The cinnamon sour
4. The curry martini

This time we tried Mutton ghee roast on the recommendation of the staff. It was really delectable. 😋

The concept of the place is very unique and interesting. As I am very fond of fusion food/drinks, it was a paradise for me.
Everything on the menu has a SamBar twist to it.
We tried-
Dosa Tacos- Couldn’t hold myself back from ordering this. Sounded too tempting! It lived up to my expectations. Was yumm!
Gunpowder Idli- Mini Idlis tossed in gun powder served with chutney. The idlis were very soft and the flavour of the gun powder was on point.
Stuffed mushrooms- I love Mushrooms! I love cheese! Two of my favourites served together. Absolute Delight!
Capi Madras- I am very skeptical when it comes to trying new cocktails as I do not have a palate for strong drinks. But I was sold as soon as I had the first sip of this. It tastes sooooo goood!! If you like coffee, you must try this.
Rasam Mary- Their take on Bloody Mary. It is super spicy but super tasty as well. It makes your lips burn but it’s worth it. It’s an experience.

Randomly discovered this time lace with few friends while looking for a new place to hangout. It's was rainy evening but we decided to sit outside ( it's kinda covered) to enjoy the monsoon. Ambiance was okay but what I liked was food. The mutton masala was amazing rightly spiced and cooked ( yes I have had this as lot of places and trust me most places don't know how to cook it well)
As per my friends beef masala is also gr8 ( though I can't comment personally as not tasted it)

Had gone for marvel fans meet up. Drinks were good and really inexpensive. Nice songs, ambience. Each dish has a little south Indian touch to it so you can expect unexpected.
Been to this place a while back but I must say this place left an impression on my mind.
Love the place, cosy corner, a complete south indian feel in alot of ways... the ashtrays make of coconut shells...the payasam drink with a touch of alcohol is excellent. The food is fab. All staff are very courteous and friendly.

After hearing, a lot of good reviews about this place; we finally visited... In spite of being in the same vicinity of Doolally Khar, somehow we never hit the place and try out its fare... Since it was a Salsa night, the interior sections was choc a block with revellers with their dancing shoes on... We sat in the exterior section and were attended by the crowd favourite waiter Baabu, he recommended absolute rockstar dishes to us; the coorgi pork and the Chicken Sukka with Neer Dosas... Used to be WTF, then Loca Loca and now SamBar. This bar has big shoes to fill, and it does so fairly well. It's a south-indian themed bar with an open-air area, a dance floor and an AC section. It also serves sheesha inside, for those of you who love it. The drinks are averagely priced. Food options are limited, mostly south indian mashups. But they serve appam which is amazing. Make sure to try their different cocktails and mixes. The silly imli is particularly fun. However DO NOT try the paayasam shot.

The place is buzzing with Salsa, Samba, Jazz dancers every Tuesday nights. You can enjoy a drink and either enjoy them dance, or they even help you learn some moves and by the time it's time to go, you're pretty much an amateur who knows their steps. Great place to spend and evening with friends, drinking and Chilling. The food menu is South Indian Fusion, if you don't like that then they also have a haters menu for the people who aren't very open to experimentation which serves the usuals like Chicken Wings, French Fries, and more.
I tried the Chettinad Pizza and it was square shaped and topped with chicken Chettinad, best thing Ive tasted! The dosa tacos were slightly soggy and wouldn't recommend trying them. The cocktails are great, must try if you're a drinker. The dishes have a good portion size for the price, more than that the whole vibe of the place is fun and happening with the waiters dressed in lungis too! Totally worth every penny spent!

4. Santra Tantra
The steward recommended Mysore Passion and Autumn in Ooty but I found it a little sweet. Cinnamon sour and Santra tantra better that way for a whisky cocktail.
I loved the food and the alcohol but the highlight for me was that there were kittens under my table. This place is animal friendly. And the service is great!

Enjoyed an evening here with friends. Had a sangria, a kit Kat shake to drink and ate the appam stew and neer dosa.
The beverages were tasty. The food was good too, but tad bit on the spicier side. All in all, I enjoyed the music and the drinks.
Sam anna you are superb. A very happening place with electrifying music and tasty food to munch on. A good place to dance around and enjoy the spirited music.
This is a pet friendly area and we can take our pets here. For those wanted temporary pets, there are some cats inside who are ready to enjoy some drink with you.

So we didn’t actually eat much. Ordered one starter the Kori Vepudu and honestly we loved it.
Such a refreshing change from the chindianish and nachoish stuff one ends up ordering.
So this place definitely knows their mix-
Utilized the zomato gold here we went in for the
Anna colada- this was amazing! What a perfect concotion to lift your spirits.. you’d keep going back to it! Yup! Well balanced Anna!
Rumbha- this one was good but the cardamom hits you with this weird after taste. I was not a fan of it. But if you love that elaichi flavour definitely go for it!
COST:
1000 bucks for 4 drinks and one starter (zomato gold) so definitely worth the penny!
AMBIENCE and SERVICE:
The space is dim lit and has this whole southy vibes. Roooobaaa colourful.. haha..
Loved that they team was dressed it Lungis! Also they have kittens! I know right! So overall it was pretty nice! Service was quick and they were really good with their recommendations.

I went on a Monday night and thet host a Stand up comedy show every week ob Monday (But, do check before going). It's free to attend and the event is chill. They have chicken kebabs and they've got good amount of cheese in them. The LIIT I ordered was strong and they way I like. Service is a little slow, but it's worth the wait.
