The definition of Soul is Aleph-The Divine Space. Met my soul, my soulmate, my husband at this cafe. I had a good coffee in the Bombay summer one February of 2018 here. People were friendly, this place sums up what I am. True Bohemia!
I went on an evening meeting at this space. If you want to find a cute little cafe which give your rishikesh or goa vibes. This is the spot you need to be in đ i had ice lemon tea was perfect.

Well the name says it all!!! It actually is a soul place for me and some of my friends.
The menu is restricted but everything I have tried so far is really good. The place has its own vibe and you can easily chill here without keeping any track of time. Plus the staff is extremely helpful and polite.
Once I came here randomly exploring good food and fell in love with this place. I prefer Aleph and would recommend you to try french fries and lemonade.Friendly people around and very good hippie ambience.
An extremely calm and soothing space to spend your evenings. While youâre there, climb straight up to the rooftop. Before even knowing, you would have spent 2-3 hours easy up there. The owner is extremely friendly and nice to chill with.
Really cute cafe that servers delicious tit-bits. Its a perfect place for your gang to chill out with combination of funkiness and cuteness. It has several floors. One of them being the low level sitting area with coolers around.
You can also write or draw anything you like on the wall!
My taste bud delights - nachos, hot chocolate, cranberry juice, cheese omelette , pita bread with hummus.

One of the coolest place to chill. Tasty food and in case you are allergic or don't like certain dressing/veggie they customize it as well. Environment on rooftop is cool and chill. Indoor games can be played and you can also leave some memories behind by painting or scribbling on the walls. Staff is friendly and interactive. Set up is homely with comfortable plus cozy sitting arrangements. Bit over priced. Good to hangout.

*Kiwi crush- was little sweet and was pretty less in accordance with the prizeđđ
*Mac nd cheese burger- amazingly stuffed burger was too high on taste.

Aleph - their tag line is âa divine spaceâ, and what could be more divine than a pure soul.
Exploring the narrow lanes of Janaki Kutir for a photography opportunity, I chanced upon the narrow stairs leading to this cafe. Curiosity got better of me and I climbed up to discover a spartan yet colorful cafe. Though to my surprise, it was totally vacant. As I was exploring the eclectic adornishments on and off the wall, one of the petite hostesses came in and asked if we would like to explore the terrace seating. Terrace seating in Mumbai and that too in December, who says no to that!
The twisted staircase is where Mumbai ended. As soon as we stepped on to the terrace, we were magically transported to cafes from Himachal. Floor seating, graffiti walls, fairy lights and a makeshift kitchen. And no, the cafe isnât trying to have a hippie feel. That is so not in-line with the unpretentious soul that this place is.
And an instant connect happens. Honestly, I could go gaga and write pages on why I loved this place. Because obviously itâs a big thing when you are at a place which feels as if someone is hosting you at their home. But one canât really describe the feeling when the place feels like your home. I got chatty with the owner, Kishen, and his mini-troop of wonderful hostesses. Each of them comes across as an honest host who love the fact that they have guests.
Coming to âlesser importantâ points like food and service; well super fast smiley-faced service of deliciously cooked food. And they have some lovely pink mugs (yeah, I didnât expect me to like pink crockery but here we are!).
Itâs one of those places where you will naturally feel like oscillating between being in your zone and getting to know those around you. If cafes could have a halo, Aleph would definitely have one.
Needless to mention, that I will be a regular here!
PS1: we ordered trio of hummus platter, masala omelette and americano. All fresh and yummy.
PS2: I know this review seems as if I am totally floored, actually no - I am owned by this place. Kishenâs playlist was eerily similar to mine!!!
PS3: How many places do you know where your hosts serves you food with one hand, while the other hand has an unfinished cigarette. Is that a plus? For this kind of feel, a BIG yes!
Tip1: do not expect fancy fine dining experience.
Tip2: do take time out to interact with the hosts.

Great hidden place. Very nice place to hangout. I personally nded up with a friend. Initially waa reluctant but later settled into the cozy corner with the breeze setting in on a december evening.
This place fits the bill. Its a good hangout place when you catch up with friends and want to spend long hours chatting. The food was yumm!!!

Aleph is not a very fancy place if youâre looking for something like that but it has a very good vibe. Especially in the evenings itâs wonderful. They have a terrace sort of a place as well, you can always go up & enjoy the air.
The fries are really good. They provide you with some 3-4 different sauces with it. The food is good too.

TL;DR - Great co-working space, reasonable menu prices, simple menu. Can spend hours on hand sitting here and working. Great place to hang out with friends, or make a new one. Mia the owner's Dog is around for you to play with. The Rooftop is a great place to relax during the evenings.

Very friendly and co-operative staff. The owner usually hags around and strikes up a conversation with the patrons. Very interesting guy and it was great to hear about his ideas about the place. also his dog Mia is playful, calm and an absolute joy to play with.

Very simple and homely menu. Don't expect anything too fancy, but that's the beauty of Aleph. I tried the Ice tea and the Coffee, which were both pretty great.

I absolutely loved the ambiance. It's a great co-working space and you could spend hours on end here, with a laptop r a book and just get things done. The root pot is a great place to hang out with friends on a cool winter evening. The only complaint/fear I had was the lack of Air Conditioning, but they have plenty of fans and windows, so you almost don't even realize the lack of the AC
Value - 7
Being in co-working space, I usually tend to sit for hours ar hand and that get s a bit expensive at most places. Aleph was great in that sense, as the menu prices aren't Hugh and you could comfortably sit and work while sipping on a tea or snacking for hours, without too much of a dent in your pocket

Comfortable mattresses to chill on, just lay down be lazy and enjoy good food. If you like pets, you are in for a bonus with Mia! Adorable dog.
Unlike the commercial cafes, this one does not make you feel awkward about spending hours and hours. Lay down and read a book, talk to a friend for hours, paint walls or even cook your own food. Don't be surprised if the people around start conversing with you. It is a truly hipster place.
It is located next to prithvi cafe which usually has endless waiting. Head here for a breather instead. Strike a conversation with the owner, interesting fella. Absolutely love his idea behind the cafe.
I wouldn't call the place cheap but it's definitely worth it. Menu isn't expansive but everything we had tasted great. Try eatigo for food discounts here, though even without it, the place is close to perfect.
Didn't really know about this place until I saw one pretty looking cafe when I was walking around Juhu streets.. I came inside and it felt like a home.. It also has membership options wherein you can spend an entire day here working on your laptop with free wifi and complimentary beverages. There is a decent collection of books to choose from if youâre feeling a bit lazy.

If youâre a bohemian decor fan, this is the place for you. Come here with friends to chill or with your book or with your work, you can sit here for hours sipping really nice coffee and still want more. The menu is s little limited at the moment but itâs worth the experience. Surely youâll want to visit again. The ownerâs pet dog also gives ou company and itâs on a terrace so you can smoke as much.

Was out with my niece and she suggested we go to Prithvi for dinner but seeing the crowd she apprehensively suggested this place. A stones throw away on a terrace.
The climb up the stairs is almost a task by itself... narrow tight stairs. Nope.. either someone can go up or someone can come down, you cannot cross each other. That tight.
But once on the terrace it is a different world. You might mistake this place for a hippe joint where you can smoke a joint and spend your afternoon, evening without anyone bothering you, good food and fantastic service to add to it! You would be right about most of it except the joint part. No joints smoking allowed! :(
The rest is absolutely true! Make your own food if you please. The kitchen is right there in open! Or part of it at least. Play your games with friends or just read away your book. No one is going to bother you, unless you choose to do it to yourself!
My every visit to Mumbai has one meal fixed here for sure!

One of the nicest places in town to spend your evening. With the friendliest staff and owner, Kishan. They've got a super energetic puppy to play with, and you can bring your own pet. They serve some great teas and chicken nuggets. The terrace here is the place to be, where you can cozy up comfortably and read a book or work while you eat and drink.

A very chilled out place at Juhu.
You want an unassuming terrace which is a come as you are place. Expect people to be reading, playing a board game, chatting, just doing their own thing. what more you can even paint the walls. I guess it should be a pet friendly place since the owners pet seemed to get quite some attention. We spent some 5 hours lounging getting ourselves more tea and coffee. Now I do think the pricing is higher than what it should be for the place and a pest control to manage the ants will be a good idea especially because there is low seating. Finally, it's s for the hippie in your heart.
Very pretty ambience. Perfect for a laid back day. Games like UNO, Jenga etc. available. I had the chicken fingers along with cold coffee which made for a delicious evening meal.
