Being a Gujarati at heart, it's just normal for me to be on the lookout for the best breakfast joints in the city and you'll agree with me when I say that there's nothing better than a plate of hot and fresh fafdas laced with hing powder paired with crunchy and juicy jalebis and some tea! You do, don't you?!

On my recent visit to Ghatkopar, I checked out this old shop in the area that has been spoken about by many. I was in the mood for a sumptuous breakfast and they definitely know that a way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Got my hands on some delicious FAFDA, JALEBIS, MINI KACHORIS and DAHI KACHORI CHAAT.

I'd be lying if I said that I'd tasted better quality Gujarati snacks and farsan anywhere in Mumbai. You can take home a parcel of your favourite items, or you could just stand and devour it all at the shop, the choice is yours.

They also sell a variety of Indian sweets and snacks that you can probably get your hands on, post your breakfast. I ended my breakfast with a bottle of their prepacked fresh CHHAAS and for someone who doesn't enjoy his chhaas anywhere except home, I loved it.

For everyone who loves their breakfast and is in/around Ghatkopar, I'd recommend Mahavir Sweets And Farsan for all your cravings, sweet and savoury!

Excellent Fafda and Jalebi. All types of Farsan is good. Excellent food quality. Hygiene is up to Mark. Will definitely visit this place again.
