Am lover of a good moist not-to-sweet pastry and 'Cakes & Coffee' has the best dark chocolate pastry/cake. Have tried only this one and can't seem to want to order anything else. Definitely getting a dutch truffle cake for my next birthday party

Have tried some cookies too at this place they were really mouth watering though I would say the price of the cakes is a bit on higher end but it's really worth it , and paying for good quality food is not something I would really hesitate .
Presently my recent favourite has been the Belgian chocolate pastries and the blueberry ones .

We have tried that veggie burger that only costs 40 bucks but is really delicious! Replace your aloo tikki with this one as it is soooo good!
Their blueberry cream cake is to die for! They make it fresh as soon as you order. It is super moist and extremely yummy! We highly recommend it!
Unfortunately they have stopped serving macaroons which is so sad as we were looking forward to have some!
The owner is a really nice person and gives you some good suggestions on what to pick if you are confused!

1. Strawberry milkshake: a refreshing drink when looking for a change in your pallette. Creamy, frothy and mildly sugary. Did taste essencey, tho.
2. Dutch truffle pastry: a tad hard, but moist on the inside. Gooey, too. Not too sweet, I like.

Updated 12/26: Have placed a few orders here. Decent variety of cakes that come at a reasonable price. The Ferraro Rocher cake is one of my favourite here.. Will definitely try them again for the next occasion at home..

Pure Belgium Chocolate cake followed by the cheese cake.. simply the best. The cakes are made fresh once you order in 10-20 minutes. Only pastry is sold from the counter.
Ordered cake from here on mom's birthday - her favourite pineapple cake - loved it! The sponge is moist and juicy - and filled with pieces of pineapple. The cream is tasty and has a balanced sweetness to it.
The packing was sturdy and i liked that they gave a knife and 2 candles.
Only thing that would have been better was if they would have called and asked the message to be written on the cake.

So before buying the Belgian Chocolate Cake and eating it, I only knew this place as a bakery in front of the Azad Nagar metro station. The first day I went to book a cake for a friend's birthday, we only came back with the menu brochure. We were seeking for a customized cake which involved a parameter to place order 48 hours prior . Unfortunately we couldn't make it, but now I know where to go when I want it next time! My friend (the birthday boy) who doesn't have a sweet tooth that intense, also couldn't resist from it. He certainly had a Happy Birthday! (Also they have macaroons on the menu.❣️)

1) They Have The Most Delicious Cream I Have Ever Tasted In My Life. I Could Literally Eat The Cream Like Ice Cream There.
2) The Belgium Tasted Like Actual Belgium And Not Just A Mixture. The Aroma Which It Leaves After You Have It Is Just Unbelievable.
3) I Learnt About This New Cake There. It's Called "Tres-Leches-Cake". It Is A Cake Made In Three Kind Of Milks As The Name Says. One Which You Won't Find Anywhere In Mumbai.
Overall It Was Such A Good Experience To Be Here And Knowing That There Is Someone For Their Customers.

The red velvet cake was amazing!!!! The variety of cakes and other stuff is good. Though had to wait 15 minutes but it was worth it. Full value for money.
The walnut brownie is excellent and a must have, as well as the burgers. Nice tidy and cute place. The cakes are very good. Took home a mango delight pastry as well.

Cakes & Coffee is one of the most beautiful dessert parlour I've seen in Veera Desai Road. I had a Belgium Chocolate Cake and chocolate cookies here and God they were amazing. I loved the way they welcome everyone. It feels home. I'm definitely getting my birthday cake from here 😍
What a wonderful experience I had at Happy Birthday Cakes! I wanted to get a photo cake done on short notice and they went out of there way to help me make it a success from designing it to figuring out the flavour. The cake looked incredible and was delicious! Everyone was taking photos of it all night! You can see the passion and love they put into there cake. I'm also obsessed with chocolate chip cookies and I find good ones very difficult to come by in Mumbai. HBC makes them spot on!! SOO Good. I got to try one right out of the oven and ended up taking a whole box home. Super fresh ingredients and super cheap price! Craving more of them as I type this. Thank you for your warm hospitality HBC! Will definitely be recommending you to friends. :)

We (me n my friend) r Engineers from Larsen and Toubro (L&T). Today we had a hectic n tight schedule. We were traveling by metro in the evening. We had some work at Azad Nagar. After completing the stuff we were hungry.
On Zomato we got Happy Birthday Cakes & Coffee. We decided to try it. N fortunately we ended with one of our best decisions. I tell u...We had tried over most of the cake shops in Mumbai but I bet u that u would hardly get cakes (especially) of such quality with reasonable price [most importantly ;-)]
Firstly we ordered #Blueberry-cheese cake#....It was just a banggggg. The taste u might rarely get anywhere. I would also mention that the cream was of very rich (which everyone expect while eating cake)
Next we tried #Death-by-chocolate cake. I say u...When u try this one u will literally die to have once again the same [ as we did :-)] It was just like having a feeling of swimming in the pool of chocolates... Literally we closed our eyes n enjoyed this one
We also had #Belgium-chocolate cake. As we mentioned that we had tried cakes at most of places but I had never found this particular one. So we had this N It was the best one ever tasted. We can't express this in words. I would just say that the taste of chocolate is still in my mouth. It is a must try cake which one would get only here in this shop.
We initially came with thought of having a single cake but ended up having lot many. Moreover we were also not bursted with our pockets. It was not so costly n worth visiting.
The service provided was also very good. Overall it is a must visit place.

I went in to enquire about customised cakes bt the baker said he delivered only within three kilometres. And he even said that for customisation, minimum was two kgs to be ordered. he was good at making conversation, so talked to him for a while. Asked him what cake was he know for and he said it was their pure Belgian chocolate cake. We talked a little more and then when we were almost leaving, he called us back and asked us to wait for a while. He made us taste the flavour. I must say, this is not an experience you normally get. I could see how enthusiastic he was and how proud and confident he was. And now about the taste. it was smoooth and so rich.. literally licked the whole spoon. Chocolate lovers will enjoy this but it might be two filling for others.. and i loved the pink seating 😍

While he was serving at Yari Road, I had a great time with the cheese cakes and the blueberry preparations. As did my family who are quite particular about preparations.
This place is like a hidden jewel. It has lot to offer, from coffees to shakes, cupcakes, pastry, cakes and more. U can try their Belgium cake, death by choco, trimasu, 3 milk cake (Spanish cake), carrot cake and their cheesecakes.
Very regular at this place...small cozy place but outstanding cakes. ...had placed an spl order for philadelphia baked cheesecake. ...I don't think I will eat this cake anywhere else....it's outstanding

Chocolate cakes are one of my food weaknesses and so I keep searching new places to try cakes. This time it was my younger brother’s birthday and with the help of Zomato filters I searched the highest rated cake shop in Andheri West. And then I found ‘Happy Birthday Cakes and Coffee’ among the top 5 highest rated cake shops.
The place is easy to locate as it is situated on the main Veera Desai Road and it is in front of Andheri Sports Complex. The board which they have on their shop is kind of funny as more importance is given to words ‘Cakes & Coffee’ and they have kept Happy Birthday as a logo.
Te place is not so spacious however they have kept 2 chairs and 1 pink sofa so you can sit and eat there. The menu is huge with many options to choose from and price wise its nothing different from other cake shops in Andheri West. The staff is polite and they explain everything about their cake well.
My Order Was –
Half Kg Eggless Chocolate Crunch Cake.
I placed the order 1 day prior and I told them that I want the cake to be fresh. And they nailed it as the moment I saw the cake it was looking bright and freshly made.
Cake cutting and eating done and the tasting part begin. The cake was very soft and moist and indeed super fresh. It had 2 layers of frosting with one layer having cashew in it. I found the frosting uneven and less compared to cake layering. So the cake to frosting ratio was not good. As the name had ‘Crunch’ in it I hardly found the crunch factor in the cake as the cashews used were less. Also as mentioned the caramel crunch used was less again. However the chocolate on the top was above excellent and tasted perfect. The chocolate had perfect texture with no weird after taste once I was done eating.
So after finishing the entire cake did I liked the cake? Well not that much but the chocolate on the top tasted smooth and amazing. Will I try something else or recommend this? Yes obviously as there are so many options to choose from. This time first impression is not the last impression.
The bakery is well maintained nd the owner is so sweet nd helpful in nature.. Even the products are so tempting nd tasty u jst can't eat one.. This shop is all time favourite place for cakes❤️
This places is full of fresh desserts. Cakes to cookies everything and most of the flavours just melt in the mouth. I have had Belguim Chocolate, Blueberry Cheesecake, Mocha Cake, and all of them are sooo so tasty and fresh. Even if you just pick a cake up without ordering before they hand out a fresh one.

Wanted a good dark chocolate cake so I went on to ask for a home delivery. I was suggested to buy the Belgium cake. There were no delivery issues. As suggested the cake was surely dark however a little on the dry side. I expected alot more of the dark chocolate cream on the cake as it was for 450 bucks. Would I buy again? Maybe not cause I would get the same kind of cake in about 50 to 100 bucks less!

I had ordered a vegan black forest cake for the second time. It was so amazing that it was difficult to believe that it was a vegan cake. The gentleman ( owner) was soft spoken and knew what vegan cake was all about. They also have a belgian chocolate pastry which is fabulous. Vegan cakes/ pastries are decently priced.
This is my favorite go to place for pastries & cheesecake. The fruitcakes are amazing and so nicely decorated. Scrumptious & beautiful cupcakes and birthday cakes will make your mouth water😋 Reasonable prices and quick delivery too!
