We always order food from here... pocket friendly dishes at very reasonable rates and the quantity is also very good... one thing must try from here is their mutton keema which we order every Sunday morning trust me it’s a must tryyy with pav and the taste is same idk how but I’m having from years n years it’s still the same 👌🏻
This place serves good food in reasonable price. Had randomly went with my work colleagues for breakfast during break hours
Had ordered :
Bheja masala, paya soup, Kheema gotala, and the mutton kichda, Pani kaam chai
Whatever we ordered was amazing and delicious. Only little hygiene should be maintained.
We had an house party and we ordered food from Cafe Tashkend. We ordered chilly chicken, chicken Afghani, crispy chicken and chicken fried rice.
The quantity was worth the money. Pricing was pocket friendly, would love to order from here again.
Cafe tashkend.
Ambience is good. The having AC section. Nice for family restaurants. It's is budget friendly resturent. The mutton Keema is to amazing. Recommend a place.
One of the highest recommends for Mutton Keema with Pav and their special Pani Kum Chai. Trust me, you wouldn't be disappointed. The Keema was cooked with whole Indian spices which was balanced by the right amount of sweetness. I haven't ever had tea as creamy as this.
I had tried the Mutton Biriyani as well which was okay.
If you are in short of money in your feeling hungry then one should definitely go to this cafe. The food over here is really good. One should definitely try out their keema pav and mutton biriyani. Pieces of mutton in Mutton Biryani has really soft and more than enough for one person. It is situated at the s.v road near Honda showroom in Jogeshwari.
Chicken schezwan fried rice from Cafe tashkend.
I have been eating this since I was a child.
They have a good cuisine in their menu.
With very reasonable rates
👍
If you are looking for some pocket friendly non veg meals this place would be prefect in my opinion. Keema and mutton biriyani are my favourite and the tea is also good. Place for seatings are comfortable and quantity is also satisfying.
A Local restaurant with good taste and quite economical. Ordered butter chicken, mutton soup, Butter naan, keema they all were quite good. But the Chai i found out quite good den rest what i have tried till yet.
One of the finest Keema I had was here at Tashkend. It was really great and the place us very pocket friendly. Thumbs up guys. My favorite breakfast destination
Keema pav and chai....
Is my favorite from this place
Social gathering and friendly staff makes this place the most happening spot in the locality
The Chinese items are quite colorful but tasty
Pocket friendly place to hang out.
Located near beherum bhag signal. I just love the chicken crispy from this place. Long chicken pieces with schezwan chutney. And chicken biryani being my fav from this place . I would advice to take a parsel from this place
One shud not miss their mutton kheema one of the best I had in whole bombay something different which is full of flavours little bit on oily side but must try guys
It's all time favorite
Decent place to order fast food especially Chinese food. The mughlai food can be too greasy or not properly cooked at times. Considering the money for the different items, a thought can be given prior to considering alternatives.
'Ek plate keema,Do paav '...d perfect start to a hectic day...A touch ull never find in any restaurant in Mumbai (restricted to keema pav).
Ambience is OK types.
Special Tea ( d waiters do call it as Pecial) is unique and thick
Highly recommend this for tea & keema pav
It is located at behrum bag at sv road jogeshwari. A very small place. But sometimes you get the best food at such places. It has two sections, one is normal one and one is family one.
Chicken tikka and chicken crispy is my fav. One of the best chicken crispy i have tried ever. A must visit outlet. Or else just take away the food.
Location 3/5
Ambiance 2/5
Food 4/5
Overall 3.5/5
Great place to have a breakfast in jogeshwari. If ur alone at your place dont worry for yr break fast. The best outlet is there for your...
Just try mutton kheema, egg bhurchi and for icing on the cake just the special tea..

Tashkend is one of the best restaurants for keema Pav and even chai is also amazing. Ambience wise is ok like 4/10 for girls not the ideal place to dine in.Cost wise like will give 9/10 its value for money 9/10. Service 6/10.
Frequently order mouth watering keema for a lazy Sunday breakfast.... Ask them to serve with Tari (oil) else it tastes dry.... Not very spicy and best enjoyed with the bakery Paav......
One of the best place to have Desi Chinese food and yes fried rice is something epic you won't forget the taste of fried rice od tashkend and yes there is a keema pav ,bun maska for breakfast and tea i have it every day while going to my office its a typical miya bhai style hotel where non veg is tasty af.
If you want to enjoy the meal with family recommendations will be order at home and enjoy the food you will love it.
° LOCATION : On the main S.V road in Jogeshwari West...easy to spot.
° AMBIENCE & SEATING : This is a typical muslim restaurant with value for money delicious food. There's hardly anything about ambience here. Its very simple and seating is divided into 2 sections. One of them is reserved for families.
The café has an atmosphere and crowd in the general section which many people won't find comfortable..so I recommend them to order from home!
Also, there are hardly any options for vegetarians.
FOOD & PRICING : Tashkend gets 4 stars mainly because of their food! Really tasty dishes at such affordable prices. This is the place to order from when you're low on cash.
The quantity is also huge. Tandoors and tikkas are perfectly made. Indo-Chinese food is lip smacking and spicy. Chicken Fried Rice is what I always order.
I love their breakfast menu too. Mutton kheema, mutton bheja and paaya soup! You have to try this.
STAFF & SERVICE : If you stay nearby, there's no minimum order for delivery. The service is fast.
Try Tashkend for its pocket friendly non vegetarian menu!
We always order kheema pav from this restaurant.Nice, delicious minced meat(kheema) with bread(pav) to start ur day with! They have bheja(brain gravy) and paya also which are good.

Jogeshwari West has become my top spot to eat non fancy and pocket friendly food whenever I am in a mood of not spending cash. There are many restaurants who are serving home like food without charging bomb and Hotel Tashkend is one such place which is serving decent food with low prices.
The place is located on the main SV Road and it is easy to locate. The restaurant is spacious with AC and Non AC section.
The menu is huge with Mughlai and Chinese options. Price to quantity ratio is excellent and the service is quick.
My Order was –
1 Chicken 6T5.
1 Veg Kolhapuri.
Tandoori Rotis.
1 Dal Rice.
Chicken 6T5 spelled innovatively had chunky boneless chicken pieces marinated in schezwan sauce. The chicken was tender, fresh and juicy. The base had schezwan sauce made along with onion and capsicum however adding curry leaves to it gave the entire dish a unique aroma. Overall the dish was delicious and I loved eating the chicken.
The next dish was Veg Kolhapuri as I wanted to play safe by not ordering any unknown dishes. The veg Kolhapuri was thick red gravy cooked with all the veggies in it. I like my gravies to be oily hence lot of oil was used. So everyone kindly make a note of this before placing your order. The gravy tasted good not great. The chillies were giving a different kind of flavor hence the dish tasted different from other places where I have tried it so improvement needed.
Tandoori Rotis were nice and fluffy. The dough made was excellent and the rotis were soft. The rotis were also big in size compared to other restaurants.
Dal Rice was normal plain biryani rice topped with dal. This tasted homely and good.
So Café Tashkend is among those places which can be definitely tried if you are running out of cash but still want to eat good food.
Never found this place much attractive until I tasted their so called best "Chicken crispy" and believe me it is really good as suggested by my friends.
From one of the Cafe series in Jogeshwari, it's worth trying
Ambience is okayish bt food is really good
This restro serves the best chicken cripsy .. Those who love spicy food should go n try . The restro doesn't look good .. U should take a parcel .. N u will fall in luv with his chicken cripsy (must try)

We usually order from this place and most varieties of mughlai and Chinese are fairly value for money. Would recommend for a quiet homely meal with family..
Tashkend is by default for us the place for home delivery. Nice mughlai food with good price. Its mutton pulao is highly recommended, its like you will have anywhere else.
Service is fast, be it home delivery or you visit this restaurant. Its a nice irani-type restaurant with waiters and managers working like a family business, quick service and no formality just friendly.
Pani-kum tea is very nice here, I always take double pani kum so i dont have to order it twice.
Paya soup is also one of recommended items.
Try this place if you are around!
A nice place on the way to Jogeshwari, you can stop for a quick breakfast. The service is good,I ordered for an egg white burji and pav,the taste was very nice and the pav was quite filling.order for a kadak chai ( less of milk and more of water)
It is Famous for tea here called as maafak.. open untill midnight people just drink tea a alot at this place.
Food
Nice tandoori chicken.. chana masala..
Chinese chicken fried rice and chicken lollypop
I got a chance to eat their Keema as a friend bought it as a parcel. The keema was tasty but was too oily by my standards. My friends were really gaga about the keem and I think minus the oil it was not that bad.
Would visit the restaurant some day and give other dishes a try.

Went there on a friend's recommendation. Awesome taste but do not expect any kind of ambience at this place. Extremely pocket friendly and satisfying place. Chicken Stick Rice a must try !
Amazing Breaksfast. Not to miss the Brain Masala Fry, Brain Bhurji, Qeema and tha Mutton Paya. Can have with Paratha for better taste. Reasonable rates too.
