This place is a personal favorite.
My friend recommended this place to me when I asked her for a dessert corner which customises cake long back in 2012.
So my first customised cake was for my brother's 18th birthday which I bought from here and trust me the blind faith was upkeep.
The latest one was for a close friend and I got a picture of F.R.I.E.N.D.S themed collage printed on the yummy rich truffle cake and I'll tell you she wasn't disappointed at all.
So anyone who stays nearby this place should get a customized cake from here, be it any flavor, picture, 3D figures on the cake, they just nail it!! :)

Cakes are really fresh ..the cream and icing they use is so smooth and light. Sugar sweetness is so perfectly balanced...our family is so delighted that we order every single cake from here only.
The most consistent taste of cake can be found here. I just had to mention that I need a green colour cake.. Rest everything waa done by the owners.. They made it above our expectations and it tasted really good.

The ocean is a star shining proudly in the galaxy of more than 14-15 cake shops of Kandivali west from last few years. I still remember the very first birthday of my daughter & we had only two days in hand & no other cake shop was ready to customise 1 kg cake for us. But these guys did it in a very wonderful way, as we expected. Since then its our regular cake shop for every small big occasion. some good flavours from ocean are Rich chocolate, Dutch Chocolate, Tropical delight, Oreo , Ferro rocher etc. I like their Hot Chocolate brownies & chocolate balls too.

Simply love the perfection that they've been maintaining since years now. Whenever there's an ocassion, Ocean's is the first place I go to get the cake. U cannot miss the oreo cookie , death by choclate, kit kat n even the simple dutch choclate flavours. It's Fruit flavours r also good. The blueberry flavour is good too. Although would like to suggest some improvement in the red velvet cake. Their muffins r also very nice. Excellent taste n Good value for money.

This is one of the best cake shops in Borivali-Kandivali . I've tried 2-3 different flavours like chocolate walnut and mocha Oreo. Just loved the taste of it , was not too sweet just perfect taste . Just 1 thing I wanted to state there were a lot of walnuts in it.
Every Bite of Cake served from this store is delicious and exquisite.. Never been disappointed buying cakes from here.. Great work. my favourite mix fruit cake with fresh cream.

Amazing cakes here at the ocean cake shop. Have tried this place very recently on the strong recommendation of a dear foodie friend who knows this place would be worth giving a try. And it surely lived upto my expectations. The best part is they have 3 sizes in cakes ....even a 1/4th kg available. Which is great option. The finishing of the cakes is neat and the hard work put in by these girls, in their art shows immensely in the finished product. Ekta and Gunjan(the owners and the cake Bakers) are most of the times on the shop.
Their cakes are really worth every penny.
And when there is no occasion to have cake, you can always binge on their cake pops and chocolate balls.!
They have photo cakes and custom cake options but inspite of visiting it numerous times, I haven't explored them yet.
Only a problem: there are no pastries.! And also, sometimes, there are no cakes available. So you cannot depend on the availability without ordering in advance. If possible, you should order one day in advance.
My favourite cakes are the chocolate chip cake and the chocolate pebbles cake.
P.s. they also keep the one rupee Pepsi (the one we used to eat outside school.!)

I had read positive reviews on zomato for this place so I decided to order a cake for my mom's 60th birthday. Had ordered a customised three tier pineapple cake. The cake was amazing visually and taste wise it was like usual pineapple cake you get at most of cake shops. I think their chocolate cakes are tasty next time will try that.I would definitely recommend it especially if you planning for a customised cake.
Had Ordered a personalised cake for a Surprise birthday bash of a friend... The cake was prepared exactly the way I wanted It to be... All The Personalised articles (French Fries, Vada pav, Esbeda Bag) were Beautifully arranged and exceptionally well decorated. It was amazingly yummyyyy. It Added a spark to the entire Party.. And More importantly it brought a smile on the face of the Birthday Girl... This place run by a well co-ordinated family, started few years back in an old dainty building which currently stands renovated. It can be quoted as a successful case of entrepreneurship. My dad brought cake from this place for the very 1st time on my mom's b'day back when it had newly opened; because the baker back then use to immediately bake cakes (which were richly frosted and fluffy)
The chocolate cake is USP.... not that I am complaining about cream cakes. If you are a Mahavir nagar resident you would have definitely had an opportunity to try it. They have sufficient basic varieties...but I do wish they would also start exotic ones like- Tiramisu, Mission impossible, mud cake ...n a lot more!!
They recently started having extra cakes i.e evn if you haven't placed order you can buy one ! Usually one is required to place the order day prior ..and it's open till 10.30 so even if you got late .. one could easily run into this cake-shop.
Also they have non-alcoholic drinks, brownies, cup cakes, ice creams and b'day party stuff.
It's one-stop-shop for b'day parties.
Ever since it opened we have been ordering for b'days & anniversaries... it is recommendable.
PS: This place is vegetarian & they don't have rolls or puffs

I haven't been to this outlet but we called for our friend's birthday cake from this cake shop, reason being this was the only good shop I found on zomato that's in the area and is pure veg too!
We wanted a one and a half kgs red velvet cake that looks like a wedding cake because we had a wedding theme for the birthday (weird I kno :P)
These guys did a brilliant job, not just with the looks of the cake, but also it's taste and quality! White outside, red inside, it was completely lip smacking! Not very sweet, extremely soft, and delectably beautiful, the cake really spoilt my hands and my control over desserts! ;)
I don't know how much it was priced at, but for whatever, it's completely worth it! The next time I'm in kandivli, I'll be coming here for getting more spoilt! :P

I feel it is the best shop for cakes in mahavir nagar locality. I ordered cakes and cupcakes for a party. The taste and presentation is fab. However the delivery time of my cake was 6, but cakes were made available only after 7, which left us waiting at their shop for more than half an hour. Otherwise best shop to order customised cakes.
Pure-veg cakes never tasted so delicious. Also, with other cake shops you might get limited choices when you want your cake to be eggless. This place offers both best taste and large variety.
They don't keep large stocks on them - possibly because they want to serve fresh cakes to their customers. so if possible, try and pre-order your cake.

The number of cake shops in this area are increasing day by day. A total of 10-15 cake shops in this area but simplicity is what that makes this shop special.
This shop is being run by a family with no other branches in Mumbai.It is a small shop with no chairs to sit, it is a take away shop.The best thing I found about this place is that they prepare the whole stuff in the shop.If you are lucky you can see how the lady makes the cake. The place is Hygienic.The family is very courteous and will help to choose your cake.I have been to this place numerous amount of times and is always satisfied with their products.
The pricing of the cakes are very reasonable with no cake charged for more than Rs. 350(500gm).Around 20-30 varieties are available.This includes chocolates, rockers,oreo,fruit cakes.They don't sell pastries instead they have come with new concept of 1/4 Kg cakes. The oreo and kitakt cakes must be tried.

Fresh bakery products are really hard to come across in an area dominated by fast food outlets and cafes. Ocean has been one such store where I've come across really fresh and aptly priced bakery in my own area. I've tried a lot of cakes from ocean and they've hardly disappointed me. Only issue I have with them is the amount of cream they use is a little too much. When you try to pick up the cake slice it falls off often because of the cream. Also, the cream leaves a certain after taste somehow. If they could use little less cream and incorporate more flavour between the cake slabs, they'd be just perfect. But thumbs up to these guys for making fresh and yummy cakes and for pricing them just right!!!

Oceans is one of the best cake shops in the suburbs, which has different varieties and sizes of the cakes available. The best part about the cakes here are that they are indeed very fresh soft and melt in mouth taste. This small cake shop in mahavir nagar also specialise in wild range of customised cakes which is obviously a new and unique way of customer attraction and satisfaction.
Along with it, this cake shop has variety of self made chocolates-slice cakes-pasteries-brownies available; which again makes it a must visit for me.
