My mom was craving some SHAHI PANEER yesterday so ordered it yesterday alongside TANDOORI ROTI and GARLIC NAAN from here. Very reasonable pricing, fast delivery, extremely good portion, secure packaging, clean and tasty food.ย
Roti and Naan were great as expected, shahi paneer as we all know is on the sweeter side but thankfully here the gravy was creamy but they had not added extra sugar. I find it very irritating when restaurants add extra sugar that makes the gravy cloyingly sweet. Here, shahi paneer was calorific, on the sweeter side, creamy, delicious, LOVED IT.
Would love to reorder again soon :) This is the place that does justice to the concept of delicious and fast everyday food for the masses.

Yeah I visited for marriage nearby hall to this restaurant. As it was Sunday my friend suggested me lets have lunch somewhere out in restaurant. So we visited this place & trust me chicken starters were dam good. Chinese food is awsom at this place. Thums up for shree raj ๐๐๐ป

A quiet place on lbs road, i loved the fast service and the food here. Do try out their dum biryani, and a special mention for the delicious sambhar accompanying the south indian dishes..

Now some may argue the 4 for SHREERAJ as it niether offers great ambience nor great food. If that is the argument then one should know that not all places will be like 5 star hotel. However if you look at this joint as a place where you go for decent pricing , a place where you can have your daily lunch or evening or Morning snacks with extremely well behaved and hospitable staff and at a price which doesn't burn a hole in the pocket, you would change your perception about this place and revise the rating to 4.
The food tastes decent- neither you will not be licking your fingers at the end of meal nor you will complain about the taste. Menu has a good spread though the South Indian and North Indian are best options. If you like your sambhar Karnataka style this is a good place
They have revised their prices on upside . The corporate meal can easily be had 2 times in a 5 work day week.

One of the best place to have veg food in damodar park. We are a regular customer there, starting from south Indian to pulao to pao vaji, misaal pao, paneer recipes everything is grt. Perfect balance of oil and spices in every dish.. Recommend for veg food.

First of all, a shout out to Zomato for providing me the opportunity to review this restaurant with their invitation voucher. Thanks Zomato, this is really appreciated.
Entering the restaurant, the ambience is bright, relaxing and quite soothing. The welcoming attitude of the staff felt really hospitable.
The menu card had a wide variety of items, which are not in accordance with each other, but serve well to people who aren't the single cuisine types.
Our first order was their fresh lime soda and a masala papad. Really nothing to criticize about them, pretty standard in their preparation.
The next order was a paneer tikka dry. We had to wait quite a while for the order, but was the dish worth it ? Probably not. The marination can be improved be heaps and the paneer can be a teensie bit softer. I did like the accompaniment salad tho. Just the right amount of salt and lime. Yum!! (Yes, salad is important for me!). The presentation was spot on, and that's what enhances our pallets to quite a high extent!
Then came our pav bhaji. It was pretty standard, accompanied by the salad and some buttery greasy pavs. Some work can be done on the bhaji, but I really liked the pav, soft and buttery. Awesome!
And finally, welcome the absolute highlight of the meal, the spring dosa!!! Easily the best I have ever had, it was an absolute party for my tongue! Presentation was spot on and the taste was lip smacking!! Can't ask for more.
The chutney and sambar need improvisation, but with that kind of dosa, who need these accompaniments??!
The owner of the restro, Mr shaikh was kind enough to meet us and gather feedback even tho he was in a hurry and busy, which was very hospitable of him.
It feels very nice when the staff isn't arrogant and accept feedbacks for their try for continuous improvement.
Overall, a very nice place for the Udupi and lunch items!!

A fellow foodie and a great friend Parth Viradia received an invite from Zomato along with a voucher to go try out this newly upcoming joint located near R city mall and so off we went to try it out.
Hotel Shree Raj is a quintessential Udipi joint with relatively more than average aesthetic atmosphere. The 4 month old restaurant had a very simple but pleasing ambience. High ceiling and comfortable seating added to the charm. The indoor aura is in a total contrast with what we see from the outside. Another classic Don't judge a book by its cover phenomenon. The staff is cordial too.
After coming inside the restaurant after the long metro travel, we ordered a chickoo milkshake which was unavailable. When we asked for a sweet lime soda instead, we were told that was unavailable as well, which the manager came and corrected, and so we had the soda on our table in 5 minutes. The soda was soothing because of the scorching heat outside, but had average taste. Then arrived our masala papad which was nice and had a lot of masala on it. Liked that one.
Next came the Paneer Tikka dry. The paneer was nice and tender but the marinating had place to improve. But over all it was good.
Cheese pav bhaji came next with plenty of cheese and butter topped on it. It was not something I would recommend, but not something which had flaws either. So that was pretty okay.
What I would recommend there, like in any udipi joint, were the dosas. Dosa was really good, even considering that we ordered it five minutes before their kitchen closed (which is at 4pm). The spring roll was a great fusion of flavours in the mouth and had quite a lot of filling too.
The presentation of all the dishes was pretty good. Mr. Siraj Sheikh is really concerned about the service, and is happy to take a feedback. The place is surely taking baby steps towards being a popular family dine joint, and I'm sure the target will be achieved soon.

Their staff is so cordial that they feel u at home & mainly the manager who lives in orchids(as I know) is so concerned abt his customers that he asks them personally abt their feedback... Well this place had a very average start, food was ok. But this place blew me off, after my last couple of orders.
They have a must try warm hospitality and the Owner Mr. Siraj Shaikh personally talks to customers in the evening s to check if they are happy, and if they have any suggestions.
I thought they were just like any new joint in the neighborhood, but the recent change in their team of chefs, has OUT OF THE WORLD, tastes, my personal favourites and regular orders are, Fried rice with Chana masala,(my fusion secret)
Garlic nan and aloo dum, Hakka noodles and paneer tikka masala.
I order from them atleast 2 times a week and LoVE their food specially because of maintained quality and taste.
Priced moderately easy on the pockets and a meal for 2 lavishly can cost not more than 500 to 600.

I had to write this review. . Well being a non vegetarian I generally like the gravy to be a lil spiced.. so what different could one order in a vegetarian restaurant? So I ordered for Kashmiri kofta (a slight sweet gravy - unlike my usual taste) and butter naan. N I must say it was simply superb... the soft paneer balls melts in the mouth and the silky slight sweet gravy is a delight. Foodgasm totally. I hv ordered it twice since then.

Decently good Veg Restaurant. The ambience is sober , limited seats, but the food taste is awesome, especially south indian and north indian dishes. Caters to home delivery in most offices and residences nearby. Very much a Must Visit place to cater to your hunger pangs. Closed in late afternoon for a couple of hours.
