It's was late night returning from SUNSET WITH LUCKY ALI concert along with my wife, and I found right resturant for eating authentic veg food preparation of food is like directly from south temples..with good positive vibes, and best quality product..please visit...
Anna rasoi is a small south indian restaurant. Like a typical south indian restaurant but modern in its look and feel. South indian food here is remarkable and must be tried for sure. Looks a little expensive and that's the only reason I didn't rate them a full score.
This place is very near to malad station its 5 mins walking. For all those south Indian food lovers this place is heaven. I mean the food is way beyond delicious.
So we ordered for,
1. Idli manchurian: this was amazing south Indian taste with Chinese is the best combination.
2:schezwan cheese chilli dosa : Gotta love this one, this was so cheesy and dosa was so crispy and yum. Flavours were awesome.
3. Menduwada : not a big fan of menduwada but I love theirs. They were just awesome.
Overall I loved this place. Service is fast, staff is very good. Ambience is small but pretty. I would give 5/5 for food. Must visit this place.🤤
Loved this South Indian restuarant which is just about 10 mins away from malad station. We tried malgapudi dosa, coffee and masala chai, everything was upto to the mark and a must try! Will definitely visit this place again and recommend it for small lunches and brunches with family and friends
Looking for South Indian dishes, Anna Rasoi is the place. This place serves some delicious South Indian dishes which are just finger licking. The place has a comfortable seating with fast service. I had a Mysore Masala Dosa and Cholle Puri. The Masala Mysore Dosa was just pure amazing and was just heaven to the tastebuds. The quantity of the chole puri is also good enough to full your tummy. Overall I had a great experience and looking forward to visit it again.
This was one of the very authentic south Indian food experiencs. I loved filter coffee and raagi dosa. The dosa was served with coconut chatni, rassam and sambhar. Rassam was tangy n sweet in taste. Saambhar too was very well prepared, thick n tasty. Wada rassam was well prepared.
Food was also served in typical south Indian style on banana leaf and in copper utensils. Ambiance was sime yet neat and appreciable
Got delivered my food from this place which is the perfect fix if want to satisfy your tastebuds with awesome South Indian delicacies, to the fullest. Quality and quantity is commendable with pocket friendly prices, what else you need!?

1) Plain Idli - 2 Big idlis with sambaar and green chatney served with them. Delicious max.
2) South Indian style upma - Not a regular upma taste but a lot more than that.
3) Veg Cheese grill sandwich - Regular veggies stuffed sandwich loaded with cheese inside.
4) Filter Coffee - Sip it with your idlis..

Had placed order for 'Anna special Misal Pav' and 'Chole Puri'.
While the 'chole Puri experience was good, 'Misal Pav experience was not so.
There were enough no. of good, fluffy puris served with righr consistency of tasty chole along with lemon pickle.
In 'Misal Pav' 'Misal' appeared like Sambhar with 'Sev'. Could not see any vegetables or pulses.
Also, the packaging was not good, since the 'Misal' liquid had leaked out.
We ordered two rice platters from here and both were very spicy. The Bisibele Bhaat was well cooked but I couldn't taste much other than the chili. The Lemon Rice was slightly milder and cooked with a lot of coconut. The complimentary papad was nice to have.
On the crowded station road in Malad West I explored this authentic South Indian restaurant serving delicious vegetarian South Indian dishes. The ambience designed will give you feel that you are in south India. I was falling short of time to dine in so I ordered. Here is what we ate:
Pesserattu Dosa (5/5) loved every bite of and it and it will make you forget other dosas. And it is extremely healthy as it is made out of lentils and ghee
Pineapple Sheera (5/5): How can miss this. Yes very delicious and so fresh

Very nicely made thin dosa and was crispy so it was really wonderful. Served with sambar and rasam and chutney, it tasted really nice and fresh.

The payassam was perfectly sweet which is a great thing, it was not extra sweet nor less sweet. It had vermicelli and sabudana and was made in coconut, with cloves.
Overall this place is nice if you’re looking for authentic South Indian food.

A small south Indian joint serving various types of Idli, Dosa and Vade with a twist. Authenticity is questionable, taste can improve. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable about the single page menu. Absence of air-conditioning can be a problem during summer afternoon. Reasonably priced with appreciably large portions.
A south Indian outlet close from malad station. Not a very fancy place but not like a Udipi restaurant as well. Around 5-6 tables for seating. The screen keeps showing you the various south Indian dishes in case you unaware of the names.
Had ordered for a filter coffee and a dosa. Both were good in taste.
Have also visited their partner restaurant foodland which is next to it. Both places I felt the service was on a sloppy side. South Indian food has a lot of variety. A lot of variation can be added in their menu.
On second visit ordered their mallipuram dosa which is amazing. Upgraded their rating after this lovely speciality which I tried.
I would suggest every person who is missing "ghar ka khana" should atleast try once for Anna Radio, The food was really very tasty and cooked properly
You will have two vegtables one with gravy and other with dry both vegetables gives a pleasant taste while eating.
Chapatis were very soft and hot so you can enjoy hot food without keeping it in oven again, kudos to the delivery guy.
The packaging was fully covered tightly so you will not find any sign of leakage
Dal was really a DAL with TADKA and very less water.
While having Rice and Dal, you totally feel the food should not end, It was so yummy😋
Lastly the sweet kheer, it seems they have added desi ghee to give it a good taste and once having it you will feel your Dinner is completed.
If you ask for my recommendation, I will surely give 💯 and everyone should try atleast once

Good South Indian Food if you are looking for Authentic South Indian Tasty Tangy Sambhar South style. Rasam is fantastic. It has a lot of different varieties of idlis and dosaa with a twist. If you are in malad do make a visit. Good ambience and Neat n Hygienic See through Kitchen. Must try.

We had been at this restaurant, Its branch of FoodLand since more than 34 years.
It is very nearer to Malad station and S V Road.
This restaurant is based on History and Spiritual.
##Interior
Hotel owner have itself done very fantastic interior, we should look once. At right side they have kept 300 vessels of kadai, tapeli etc etc... Above area is of 2100 vessels, that we should see atleast once.
Flooring is made up of Soil and in summer also you will not feel hot
They are having both AC and non AC sections. Non AC section is pure Sattvik and do not serve Onion & Garlic.
Their Speciality is Thali, a big thali having 13 types of different things and its at very cheaper rate.
They user Pure Ghee and all ingredients from Manglore. You will feel real taste of South Indian dishes.
Coming to the order we did
1. Idli Platter : 5 types of different IDLI's served with Sambhar and Chatni.
We ordered 2 different Platters. Idli are Gunturpodi, Manchurian, Malgapodi, Schezwan, King
Another platter was having Achari, Asian Spicy, Kolhapuri, Barbeque, Butter idli. Its real taste of different idli's. I would recommend to order this platters in your menu.
2. Dosas
# Schezwan Chilli Cheese Dosa: It is having Amazing taste of Sezwan chatni comes with big Dosa. Amazing in taste. I recommend this to menu.
#Mallipuram Dosa : It gives memory of Manglore. Tangy dosa with Mallipuram Chatnis. I recommend this to menu.
These 2 Dosa are combination of spicy and tangy taste, it should be defintely there in our menu
# Pessarattu (moong) Dosa: Its comes with filling of Moong and other ingrediants in Dosa. Its very delicious dosa.
# Nai (Ghee) Roast Dosa: Its like Sada Dosa roasted with pure Ghee. You will feel real taste of Ghee in this Dosa. They uses pure ghee.
3. Cholle Puri: It comes with 5 Puri and Chole. Chole taste is amazing and very good. Little spincy and tangy taste. Preparation of Chole is very good and gravy is very good in taste
4. Bissibele Baath: It served with the fry khichiya papad. Very good taste of Dal Rice in Manglorian style.

Very yummy and mouth tempting Sheera. Made in pure ghee and pure fruits, no assesnse inside.
While you eat, will feel real taste of Fruit and sheera. I definitely recommend this your menu.

"A little South heaven in Mumbai" is what I'd like to call this place. There are many places where I've been and I've loved the food the decor etc.. but very rare places exists that just takes your heart by its presence! Anna rasoi is one such place!
Situated at Malad, this place serves ethnic and the most pure traditional South Indian cuisine to you.
Everything here is conceptualized from the copper glasses and the thalis to the decor of the walls with cutouts of kanjivaram saaree and the vessels used for the walls and the serving of food on banana leaf. Everything has a purpose.
I'm sure you have an idea, about the ambience by now, let's hop on to the food then,
I ordered -
• Idli platter- So as the name says this dish consists of five different types of idlis served with sambar, rasam and chutney. Served at just Rs- 350 that's a great deal! Plus this dish is a must have all their idlis were so soft and tasty, I literally forgot about the chutney. And by the way their chutney as well is thick as we make it at home and unlike the watery ones. *Highly recommended 5/5.
• Bisibele bhaath- I don't want to write about this one, I just want you to taste this dish, and then you'll know why I rated it a five! ;). also it's served with papadam and achar, which also is their in-house made. 5/5
• Pizza Anna dosa- the utterly delicious combo of pizza and dosa. The best of both worlds! 5/5
• Mango sheera- No dessert could be better than this to end an epic south Indian meal. I was full to the core, but still finished it ;) served hot this just slips into the mouth once you take a bite of this little heaven. Made with pure daldha and milk this sheera costs for just around 50-80 Rs.

Though I didn't have dinner, I am writing this coz the owner had treated us with delicacies from this restaurant to their neighbouring restaurant called Foodland. We have been having food in this restaurant since childhood, but it's been couple of years that we didn't visit it. And yesterday when we went there, the owner who is the fourth generation heir to this restaurant business, served us to the best of his ability. He simply amazed us with his food. The food that we had from Anna Rasoi was Idli platter which included 5 flavors - mulgapudi, schezuan, manchurian, one tangy flavored and one typical South Indian flavor, which I forgot the names. But these two were amazing. And these were just five of the fifteen flavors that they have on the Idli platter. He also served us a special chutney, green colored, but amazing sweet and tangy flavor with yogurt in it. Again, not sure about its name. But its an amazing restaurant which is known to be 'Satvik'. A must try if you're in that area. And thanks to the owner for his lovely service.
