It is next to bombay stock exchange, service is pretty nice.the price are affordable. The food is tasty, they ask you to have more of sambar and other sauces, which are tasty too. fried idli, rawa dosa and onion uttapam are best here.
A small eatery in fort which works quite well. Good for pocket friendly south indian snacks. Idli, medu wada, uttappam, rice and several types of dosas. While dosas and wadas were great I didn't like the chutney and sambar much. They were watery which is something I personally don't prefer.
In this places. I had butter vada pav it's was amazing. All variety Of dosa simply Super. Very Low cost in Mumbai with Low cost with Full Of stomach
VADAPAV!! at Jaysnacks. Have heard of national bird, language and tons of such thing but vadapav is the national snack for #mumbaikars 😋. Most preferred in #Breakfast and #Mumbai is the place where one will get tons of varities of #vadapav that one even can't dream of vadapav being served in such unique way and add much flavours to it and this place comes in the race in serving amazing vadapavs. It had perfect #spicy #taste carved in it by heating it along with spices on a burning stove. Soft with crunch outer layer of vadapav had its own charm. Super duper taste. Must must try 💞

Masala idli fry at Jay Snacks, Fort. 🌶
Fluffy and crispy pieces of idli covered in spicy masala, served along with two types of chutneys and a sambhar. We also highly recommend their noodle dosa. 🍜
Pro tip: The orange chutney is to die for. 💫
It's a small roadside joint serving one of the best South Indian food in the area. It's generally crowded but the service is quick. Extremely affordable and the flavours don't let you down. 💰
Looking for some quick bites for breakfast? This is the place you should be at! 🍶
A good option located just behind the famous Dalal street. Although place is small & located @ corner , the delicious South Indian delicacies it serves shouldn't bother much about the shop. One of the best place near BSE to have food & it's pocket friendly too. It has got ample range of dosas to offer.

This place is tucked away in one of the lanes of Fort. Very close to BSE. This place serves a variety of snacks like Idly, Dosas, Vada Pav etc. I visited for a quick bite.
What I ordered-
Idly- Two pieces of Idlis, served with coconut chutney, garlic chutney and sambhar. The Idly was soft and fluffy. I don't like to eat Sambhar so I don't know how that tasted but the coconut chutney was extremely delicious. The chutney has a little bit of a thick consistency and was slightly spicy but this was really good.
Idly Fry- These were small pieces of idly tossed in a chilli/garlic powder, these are then cooked on the tawa with butter and some spices. The final result is some really spicy but delicious idly. These were perfectly crispy. Tasted really good with the coconut chutney. A must try here.
Butter Vada Pav- The Vada Pav is toasted on the tawa with garlic powder and butter. Served along with the coconut chutney. The whole combination is tasty, a little spicy. Again a must try.
The service is fast, though this place can be crowded at times due to the office crowd. The pricing is value for money. I would recommend checking this place out, and would be going back to try some of the dosa varieties.
Located in the lanes behind Bombay stock exchange Jay snacks is a place which serves variety of dosas and south indian food snacks.
Since it was post lunch time I was in mood for eating something light ended up ordering Idli Fry.
Three idlis cut into pieces, covered in gun powder masala warmed on tawa were served along with sambhar, coconut chutney and red chutney.
Going along with the name of the dish I expected the Idli to be crispy but was very soft and average in taste.
However the Sambhar and coconut chutney were delicious.
There is a marble top table set up for the customers to stand and eat.
Nice Street food gem.Next time I will surely try the dosas.

Its a small stall located in one of the lanes behind BSE, opp Bank of Maharashtra.
They serve variety of dosas. But what got my attention was Idli Fry and thought of giving it a try.
Three idlis cut into pieces, covered in some red chilly powder/chutney and simply warmed on the Tawa was served along with coconut chutney, some red chutney and sambhar.
Nowhere it looked like "fried" idli as I expected it to be crispy fried and was very average in taste. However the coconut chutney was thick and delicious. The sambhar was very watery but was weirdly tasty.
Its mostly crowded and there is a marble table put up to stand and eat.
If next time I am around the area then I try the dosas.

As they say, "don't go with the place, go with the taste". Is perfect for this joint.
Located just nest to BSE and bang opposite to Bank of Maharashtra it's a very small joint which many of us may want to miss. But once u test their dosa once u can't just pass by them without having one.
I love their Mysore Masala Dosa, Schezwan Dosa, Rava Masala and of course their butter dipped Masala Vada Pav. They always serve it with two chatnis and one bowl of sambar which is equally good in taste.
Very affordable place but the taste is yum. I recommend this place for ur breakfast.
Happy Eating
Just outside BSE this joint is a small packet with big flavours. Sandwiches, fried rice, dosas, fried idli..you will find most snacks here.
We had Paneer Tikka Masala Dosa and American Chopsuey Dosa. It is the perfect snack- served hot, delicious, just rightly portioned, it is a meal one will savour at the end of tiring work day.
No seating as such, just a couple of benches and that only adds to its charm of being a roadside joint serving super tasty street style food. Pricing is as reasonable as it can get.
Highly recommended if you are in the vicinity.
I had ordered the Mysore masala dosa which was really good and was filling and also ordered one of rice which wasn't great. Bt still place has good food
Situated opposite Bank of Maharashtra near the BSE, this is a small pure veg outlet dishing out some delicious South Indian fare. Right from idli, dosa, uttapa, they even serve butter vada pav and few rice dishes for lunch. You will mostly find people from the neighbouring commercials hovering here for a vfm meal, it's always packed during lunch time. On my first visit I had the Spring Dosa and Rava Masala Dosa, both of which were yummy, more so with their coconut chutney (skip the sambhar). The Spring Dosa doesn't have noodles but veggies like spring onions, carrots and cucumber cooked in a tasty and mildly spicy sauce. On my second visit, I had the Paneer Rice with Papad. Nothing wrong with it but for a mere 30rs there was hardly any paneer in the rice. I therefore suggest that if you do visit, stick to their South Indian stuff. (Their Idli Fry is quite popular and runs out in no time! Gonna go back for trying those!)
Mumbai is a city that gives u so options in terms of street food that ur spoilt for choice .. This particular eatery which is located right outside the Bombay Stock Exchange is one such place which feeds hundreds of hungry souls daily at that too at extremely pocket friendly prices
It has an extensive menu from indi Chinese to dosa's to pulav and is a office goers delight
Of the things I sampled I loved each dish and would totally recommend the
Maska vada Pav
Spring dosa
Rava Mysore dosa
All of them were super yum and the chatni is excellent ..
Totally recommended
Food 4.5/5
Ambience 2/5
Service 4.5/5
Vfm 5/5 ( the cost of the three mentioned items was only ₹ 105 .. Which is a complete steal considering the location )
A small stall with rockbottm priced street food. This is located next to stockexchage adjacent to star cold drinks. Noodle dosa , masala dosa n Mysore masala was great. They do not have sitting as such and one has to stand and hold their plate. Tried paneer pulav item n it was bland. The fried idli was good though. Suggested for office goers. There's a lot of rush between 12:30 to 1:30. It's value for money.
Been there several times it a very small place behind th stock market, u will really be enjoying the snacks here, dosa is great as always and uttappas too must try this place for every southindian fans. Best ever. Heavy crowd in the evening is thr but when u eat it it's worth ur tym.
A place where I hung out and had lunch for like 2 years during my internship. This is a small Food Joint on the busy street of the BSE.
I have always had 2 things here "BUTTER VADA PAV" and "SPRING DOSA".
One of the very few restaurants in Mumbai serving this style of Vada Pav.
The spring dosa is super tasty and spicy. They top it with cucumber and tomato, so if u don't like it order without it. But the red chutney that they use in this dosa, different from the Mysore, is what makes this dosa so special.
Great south Indian food. My personal favorite here is the Cheese Chinese Dosa. Its quite filling and spicy enough to soothe your taste buds. This place accepts delivery. Ideal place for low budgets Snacks and Lunches.
Other things to try here are the Batata Vadas and the Tomato Uttapam and idli fry.
A small road side outlet for southindian food.
Very nice dosa's and too reasonable even.
Love to have palak paneer sada, noodle dosa, spring dosa, wadapav, uttapam and fried idli.
Nice food - snacks
We usually order dosas from here for lunch at office and have not been disappointed till now.
You don't have any place to sit and eat at the outlet if that bothers you.
Just one of the good dosas too have with a difference. 100% vegetarian and a choice for Jain vegetarian as well. From the general masala dosa to the Chinese dosa. You want it you can get it all at jay snacks. You can have your own custom dosa too. All you need to do is go there. How can I forget the butter vada pav! It's pretty awesome.
Awesome South Indian dosa foods with low price
The place was closed since it was Independence Day. I have heard the dosas there are really good. Also liked the fact that they allowed me to take a photograph.
One of the best idli fry served here!
Amazing dosas served over here at reasonable prices.
