This is my go to restaurant for Desi Chinese. They serve tasty food in no time. I mostly have soups here and their Taste of China Special soup is amazing also the quantity is pretty good for the price.
Tried the tomyum soup. The waiter mentioned it will be spicy. Worth a try. I liked it. Road touch hence noisy. Has a AC seating on 1st floor, not ideal for families to sit there.
Ah,How should I describe this sometimes it really gets difficult to write/blog. This Yellow Thai Curry is just amazing, the vegetables,the creaminess of coconut milk, the balance of flavours; everything is spot on. It’s one of those curries that put on a smile to your face.
This restaurant has never disappointed me, Thierry portions are good, quality of food is hygienic. By far my favourite Indian Chinese place.
You just need to order once from this place and then you will become a fan of the food.. Quatity of the rice is for 3 people!! The best part is the taste and the quality..
They use to serve the best Chicken triple shezwan rice with shezwan sauce and fried noodles.. I have asked them that the taste has changed in the last couple of months and i really hope for them to get the old taste back... Good food with Good Quality and quantity!!

Known mainly for Chinese food, they are the prime servers of Chinese food for those who crave it very often.
Their Chicken Manchow soup & Taste of China Special soup provides the non-veg lovers with some exquisite experience of hot soups, difficult to find elsewhere.
In starters, the most recommended items are Crispy Veg & Paneer Mongolian for veg and Chicken Lillipop, Chicken crispy & Sizzled Chicken for Non-vegetarians.
The best dishes which they serve are the rice. The quantity which they offer will simply blow your mind and it is enough for 3 people. One rice item for 3 people, thats the quantity they provide.

Taste Of China is famous for his very competitive rates and serve origin good quality Chinese, Thai, Indo-Chinese and Oriental cuisine. Ambiance is very different its based on vertical garden (grass) concept and done nicely within very small place and they cleverly part them in both sections A/C and Non-A/C. quality and quantity is perfect as price we paid, very economical, owner and staff very friendly. Nice compact menu with decent service. Ambiance can't attractive you but food taste does.

Chef's Special Rice with lots of fresh vegitable, capsicum, broccoli, egg and roasted chicken pieces less oily and balance spices perfectly cooked and taste fabulous with Shredded Chicken Red Chilly Sauce a very spicy and thick gravy with rice give you smooth touch to every bite. Very clean and good chicken used for gravy it's made gravy more delicious and tastey. We can easily serve this 2/3 with good portion.

Tast of China is a very good restaurant with good quality food and the food is served in huge amount,like my family of 3 can't finish it even after eating so much,the price is decent and even tho there is a lot of food it tastes good.I like to eat a lot and have a huge appetite and hence like to order from here coz we have leftovers (a lot):-p.

I have been visiting this place for a year now. Easy on pocket and delicious Chinese food. My favourite dish here is Prawns Devil, Manchow soup.
Soup here is one of the best I have tasted.
If you want to have rice but you think gravy will be too much then do check their Chef special rice, it is tasty and we didn’t miss gravy with this rice.
Good food, good service, good ambience. Small seatings. No music. Have AC seating and non AC seating also. Normal place to have dinner with friends and family.
We have called and ordered from this place multiple times, the taste and the quality is really nice.. it comes in a huge container which is very filling. A must try is the chicken triple rice!!
The triple chicken rice is a lot of grease with some
Protein and starch. But like all things greasy, does it taste yummy? Oh yes, it does. Are you going to order it again? Yes. Are you going to hate yourself for doing so? Also yes.
Ordered. Got told it would take 35 minutes for delivery. I said "sure"
50 minutes later I call and he's like "the guy is about to leave". And then some excuses about "there aren't enough boys" / "too many orders".
Now I'm not even concerned how the food is. Just be weary when you order.

I'm editing this coz I'm a very cranky soul when I'm hungry. I'm calmer now, and think I should update that the quantity this restaurant serves is INSANE. Even when I was angry, and they finally delivered, and I saw the quantity, I was blown away.
The food is good, and I would definitely order from here again. Of course, I'd order an hour before. 😊
The quantity and quality of the food was awesome the restaurant did delivered the food before the time prescribed.
One of the best places in versova for Chinese food, the staff is friendly and sweet too....tested and tried their chicken triple schezwuan rice umpteen number of times, I give it a 4 out of 5....chicken spring rolls 4.5 out of 5....chicken chilly and Mongolian 4.5 out of 5....value for money, prompt delivery....what more can one ask for....

Ordered food from here many times such as Burnt Garlic Rice, Noodles, Chili Prawns and the taste has been decent. The price is a bit high and they provide the order on time
Ordered for Veg Flat Noodles. It was delivered fast, was huge in quantity and delicious. Special mention for the veggies in it. Thankfully, it was not filled with cabbage and pak Choy like in other places but came with good quantity of mushrooms,broccoli , red capsicum etc. There was also fried noodles with it for the crunchiness. Enjoyed thoroughly.
Must try out Chicken black pepper and Oyster Chilly Noodles, ask them to make spicy.
Quality and quantity are way too good, pretty sure you won't regret this.
Close by Versova metro station with reasonable price considering the location.
The food is very yummy specially thier combo. And i have orderd their burnt garlic rice and hakka noodles. They always serve fresh and less oil food.
Small place, nice decor on the first floor and the chicken yamin rice is a must have here.. Do give that a try specially for the yamin rice which is my personal favourite and you can try the other regular Chinese dishes as well..
Generally the food here is good. The quantity & the pricing is good. My last order was for Chicken Manchow Soup & Chicken Momos. Momos were soft & excellent in Taste. The Soup was not great, with too much of smell. Expected better from Taste of China.
Food is pure restaurant style. You will be getting a perfect indo Chinese cuisine experience for sure. I have ordered multiple times from here and that too in the middle of the night say 12 am. Still food was fresh. If you are on budget this is a good place to visit or order food from.
Amazing food with amazing quantity and ofcourse at an amazing price. The chef special fried rice was great. Crispy chicken and shanghai chicken is a must to try for.

It's a value for money Chinese place, and pretty much tastes the same like all other restaurants. Home delivery was within the time limit, even on a Sunday night, so brownie points for that! The food was fresh and triple Schezwan rice has now become like a comfort food 😂 probably going to try a few of their different sounding dishes like the noodle in lime sauce next. Hard to deviate from the standard way of ordering Chinese when your parents don't like too much experimentation 😆 the food had been ordered home, hence all photos have been clicked from the box and on the plate (excuse the messy servings - was very very very hungry)

Ordered food at home as we were feeling too lazy to go out and have our dinner..First of all they delivered after 1 hour but thats okay as most of the restaurants take time to deliver...
We ordered Drums of heaven (they weren't properly cooked) Chilli chicken gravy (Was okish in taste,not soo yummy) and Taste of china special non-veg noodles (It was good and the quantity of chicken was very good)
Overall the quantity was for 3-4 people,which means value for meal..

Recently ordered Veg Śźechuan Rice and Panèér Đëvîľ in gravy. Awesome taste and decent quantity and quality. If one want to try sometime unique and different in veg chinese must try food from Taste of China atleast onces and yes last but not the least home delivery always on time and delivery boys are decent.
Excellent food and in copious quantity too. The place has outdoor seating and air conditioning. Home delivery is also available.
The service is great and staff are friendly.
Best place to order food from where the quality and quantity is equally balanced. We ordered fried wantons, crispy potatoes and Hunan chicken... I came to this place with my friends after my college.. This place is quite close to my college.. And it is also below the versova metro station so reaching here is not a problem at all... This place serves one of the best fried wantons... Literally.. I love to eat wantons and this place always cheers my tummy.. Atmosphere is okay.. Its a small place but the staff is really good

Taste was normal. Not spicy nor sweet it was okay as required. I think the chef's special rice was cooked in basil sauce. (Not sure).
Chicken was really soft complimenting the rice.
Had First spoon and confused wheather it was chicken rice or prawns rice. It was that soft and i really liked it.
I am not a chicken lover but my friend doesnt like chinese in veg so had to order in chicken. I always keep chicken pieces in any of the rice aside coz i cant have to much of it. But this time i had all of them leaving not a single piece of chicken in my plate.
Plus point** Served hot. I like hot food only even if my tongue burns *hahaha* but srsly true.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food .. the food here is not the typical indo Chinese u get in other joints .. would highly recommend the chefs special rice , chicken sliced green chilly , chilly oyster noodles and chicken in peanut sauce .. good quantity too

The place needs improvement but the food is really yummy.
We had Chief special rice and the taste of China rice along with some yummy paneer starter.
Location wise it's really good as there is good connectivity metro station being close by.
Costing wise it's really worth for every rupee that u pay.
Service is good and the staff is friendly and helpful.

What a pleasant surprise! Came across this place through Zomato. Ordered home delivery. This spot for Bombay standards are quite pocket friendly and have quality ingredients with great flavour. The hot and sour chicken soup and Chow mein was phenomenal. It's a must try for sure!

Taste of China is one of those hidden restaurants from 7 bungalows that serve food food but often go neglected.
Located in a humble space next to the famous pop Tates, this place serves some good dishes if you are not in the mood to indulge is lavishly prepared dishes.
The menu is quite standard as per what you would find at a Chinese restaurant but what sets it apart is the quality of food and ingredients.
Yamin rice is a good substitute for triple schezwan rice which you can find at every restaurant. Nice garlic base black gravy with rice, and huge chunky pieces of chicken.
Manchow soup is one of best I have had. The texture and consistency is perfect.
Very fried rice was quite ordinary though. Missing a lot of flavor and the special fragrance you get from won tossed food. Paneer chilly was also a little disappointing as it missed the source of chili and also salt was very less.
Overall the food is good but not mind blowing.
You can definitely order if your relaxing at home and don't want to cook.

The food is good n the service is also good, if u have the guy who makes the franky serving u!!! Try the prawns pepper n Thai dish too it's delicious!! The only reason I have given it a rating of 3.5 is cuz they dont accept cards!!!
So, have been ordering food from this places once a while now. Have tried Crunchy chicken and chicken with basil and peanut sauce.. Both the dishes were surprisingly good especially the chicken with lemongrass, basil in peanut sauce definitely a must try... Crunchy chicken was very crunchy ,the portions these guys serve were a lot ,mind you these are only starters.. Definitely trying more stuff from this place .. A hidden gem.

I have went to this place more than 15 times and cant resist myself from goin. Since i luv food and exploring new restaurants, i would say that quantity here is too good and can be compared with 5 spice. Besides quantity, the quality here is excellent. Ambience is ok ok. Service is also pretty good. Some of the must try dishes are: chicken crispy,oyster chilli noodles,paneer manchurian,honkong noodles, chicken pot rice, chicken devil. I heard that Momos here are also very famous although i hav nvr tried it. The best thing is we get dry noodles for timepass which goes well with thier schezwan. The only dish which disappointed me was chinese chopsuey. Rate here is also pretty decent. On Average 150-190rs per dish. This place is best suited for friends group and not a date place to b very precise. This place will help u to know the difference between "indian chinese" food and "chinese" food.

I love this place especially for Special Chowmein dish which is my regular order. The rates are reasonable and the quality is great both when you order at home or have in person. The resturant might be bit congested but its pleasant place and slightly decorated and clean.
