I've always wanted to try the best biriyani and this place is absolutely famous for its rich and authentic Biriyani ❤️. I also had this place in my mind for soo long and now finally it's time to try it out.
Presentation: Really amazed by the looks of the food , mini candles to keep the food warm the biriyani and paneer was already in the piping hot matka. Never seen soo much hot food in my life👍
Things I've tried out
Ulte tawe ka paratha: The paratha was really soft but also with some crispy bits of layer on it. The size of the parath was like more that a 10 inch pizza.
Paneer Nawabi : This was supper delicious a thick gravy and some really big chunks of paneer. The gravy had a bit tangy taste but with the mallai paneer it tasted brilliantly.
*Hyderabadi Biriyani* : The here comes the star performer of the dinner table. Top layer of pleasurable smell of rice was soo good. The the middle layer for masala which taste's heavenly. Then the the best part the chicken tasted soo well and soo tender. I can surely say that I've never tried out such decisions biriyani ever.

A few days back-ordered from this amazing brand which I always prefer whenever a few guests happen to come or whenever I crave for some lip-smacking food.
And I ordered half kg chicken biryani, chicken korma and parathas. The delivery was before the time for this bulk order as well, the packaging was top-notch.
The biryani is sufficient for 2-3 people with an average appetite and thus makes it value for money plus 4 large pieces of chicken which is extremely fresh every time I have tried. Chicken korma is my favourite here as it can go with the parathas as well as the plain rice, it has a mild flavour but really delicious.
The spices were perfectly blended which gave it both aroma and the epic taste. It as never ceased to amaze me.

I had placed an order for Hyderabadi chicken biryani, Chicken Ghee roast and Ulte tawe de Paranthe. The food was really delicious and scrumptious. The Chicken was really very well cooked.
The chicken biryani was Hyderabadi style. The biryani was loaded with loads of chicken pieces. The gravy of biryani was really delicious. The chicken was well marinated. Tasting amazing with Salan and raita.
The chicken ghee roast is best. I really love this dish. Whenever I order chicken biryani I always prefer ordering chicken ghee roast with it. Amazing taste.

Biryani by kilo is a well known delivery outlet in mumbai which specialises in biryani. They have their own delivery app buy also delivery through zomato . So recently i happened to order from the mahakali outlet because its near to my college . The packaging was good and tighty sealed to avoid any spillage of liquid items . The delivery was before time and proper safety measures are been conducted by the brand as i received a message that my order was dispatched from the outlet, the message also contained body temperature of the delivery boy .
Here's list of things i ordered
Hyderabadi chicken biryani: The biryani came in a Matka which was tightly sealed with aata which makes sure that it hasn't been touched and as soon as opened a very delicious fragrance was coming from the briyani. it suffices for 3 people with an average appetite as it provides a lot of rice and 4-5 medium-sized chicken pieces. The best part which I loved is, it wasn't entirely about spices but more about chicken. It was one of the best biryani I have tasted in a while and they provide salan, raita and salad separately to make it a complete meal
chicken 65 : pieces of chicken fried and later tossed with certain spices had a very spicy flavour. The box contained 8 pieces of chicken chilly which was good enough for 3 people when served along with the biryani.
Food was awesome and quantity was decent but presentation was good. Nice place to eat. Will recommend.

The portion of the biryani was half kilograms. Which was enough for two-three peoples and good quantities of chicken were used in it. The taste of the biryani was mind blowing and it was properly cooked in a matka.

Biryani by kilo a well known brand delivering in lockdown keeping all safety measures was something I couldn't resist.
Ordered couple of items last week and got delivery of the product in 40mins which was impressive , would like to add on they also sent a text message with respect to delivery guy body temperature which was again a good thing :)
Placed order for paneer dum Biryani , ulte tawe ka paratha , paneer 65 and phirni for my lunch.
>Hyderabadi Paneer biryani: Packed intact in a clay pot having fine hyderabdi flavor to it was superb indeed. Loved the fragrant rice topped with fried onions and huge pieces of paneer in it having right amount of spices to it.
Enough for 3 pax - half kg.
Biryani was served with mirchi ka salan and raita.
>Paneer 65: tender pieces of fresh cottage cheese having blend of authentic 65 spice with lot of curry leaves to it was a great appetizer.
>Ulte tawe ka paratha: Perfectly soft and not at all chewy. For the price of 60 I would say it was good.
>Phirni: absolutely sinful having perfect balance of sweetness and richness in every bite , absolutely irresistible.

I won't lie the made fresh on order concept and fancy serving felt like gimmicks but man have I never been glad to have been wrong.
Unfortunately I could only try the Veg biryani but the taste says a lot about what to expect from the mutton ones. Had tried the hyderabadi veg biryani which was a bit light to my taste but the quality and effort speak for themselves.
The Biryanis come in a clay pot and with cute lil burners. The only downside is the high prices but given the quality, its easily worth a shot.

What a start to the weekend. It's been ages I've had a really good Biryani. Biryani by Kilo was on my checklist for a very long time. I had ordered the following items over here:-
1. Veg Galouti Kabab - Galouti Kababs just bring perfect spiciness into the dish and it melts so well in your mouth which is just brilliant. Loved this dish very much.
2. 1/2 Kg Hyderabadi Murg Biryani - The dish was prepared and delivered in a special Handi. They have a unique way of serving their Biryani as they provide a small Pot known as Aanch wherein you have to keep the tealight candles inside the Aanch and put your Hyderabadi Murh Biryani Handi on top of the Aanch to heat it roughly for 10 minutes. Loved the fragrance of the dish. Upon opening the lid of the Handi the rice was cooked really well. Fresh ingredients were used and the masala just was top notch. Loved this Authentic Hyderabadi style Biryani concept at BBK. Relished the dish with all my heart.
Overall experience of having Authentic Biryani was just delicious. Also, love how they pack and deliver the food to their customers. It's really amazing. Delivery was smooth as well. Highly recommend everyone to order at BBK.

It was my 3rd order from this outlet Biryani by kilo and we ordered chicken Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, Chicken Ghee roast and Paratha.
The aroma of biryani won our hearts even before i took spoonful of biryani. I must say these people are experts. The Biryani was so flavorful. The Biryani was served biryani curry, Raita and onions. The Chicken ghee roast was just perfect loaded with ghee. Perfectly cooked. The paratha with chicken ghee roast was icing on the cake.
The packaging was so good. The biryani is packed in clay pot. The chicken ghee roast was perfectly packed without leakage.

In recent times when I was at Mumbai for some personal reasons, had tried this place which is located at Mahakali. As can be understood by the name "Biryani By Kilo" is famous for their range of biryanis and mouthwatering kebabs. I have ordered for:
Chicken boneless biryani
Mutton seekh kebab
The food was really amazing and freshly cooked with absolute perfection and authentic flavours and taste. The biryani rice was fine grained and perfect in texture and was rich in flavours. The rice contained soft, tender and juicy pieces of boneless chicken which just literally melted in my mouth after having them. The seekh kebab were also scrumptious and eternal in taste and quality.
So, all along it was a great experience for me to order from this place. In future if I get another chance I will surely reorder from here.
We have ordered BBK Hyderabadi veg biryani using ONDC. The food was piping hot and fresh. May be due to the clay pot. After eating so many biryanis in Mumbai, finally found something close to hyderabadi biryani taste. Definitely worth a try if someone is looking for authentic biryani. Extra points for the candles they sent which turned out to be a candle light dinner for us.
Some points for improvement:
1. Raitha can be thicker ( the one they sent is more like buttermilk)
2. Salan can be more rich. The spice and taste was really good but can be more thick
When we think about celebrations, Biryani By Kilo is always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding, my Veg Hyderabadi Dum Biryani. might have been the best meal I have ever been served. Service was delightful and very professional. 10/10
The Hyderabadi Veg Biryani was absolutely delicious, much better than what I had in Hyderabad so far. The flavours were prominent but not overpowering! Filled with loads of veggies and piping hot, it was truly a treat. The packaging was hygienic, eye catching and very good.

Recently ordered some Mouthwatering Tasty items from the Mahakali Outlet of Biryani By Kilo, this food chain is very famous for its tasty biryanis and kebabs. They serve fresh and delicious veg and non veg items and ensure max safety.
I ordered :-
▪️Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani - Very Filling and tasty fresh Chicken Biryani along with raita is a great main course option to order and i absolutely loved it. It can easily serve 2 people (1/2kg)
▪️Chicken 65 - The Great Appetizer to order from this amazing place. Huge Chicken pieces grilled and tossed in Chinese sauces was a great starter item i totally enjoyed.
▪️Ulte Tawe ka Parantha - This was a thin yet very huge Paratha which is perfect to have along with chicken gravy or any other gravy.
My Ordering experience from Biryani by Kilo was wonderful and the food was very tasty and fresh. The delivery was done on time and the packaging was perfect. Max safety was observed and it was a zero contact delivery. The best food you can have along with safety in this lockdown! I would highly recommend everyone to order food from here and satisfy your lockdown cravings.

The packaging was spill proof and neatly packed.
Chicken Boneless dum biryani - the biryani was flavourful and was garnished with fried onions. There were big chunks of boneless chicken nicely marinated in the masalas tender enough. Served with raita and salan.
2) chicken ghee roast - perfect for gravy dish with chicken pieces and is spicy perfect to go with dum biryani.
3) phirni - loved the consistency and loved the presentation of it which is served in a matka.

Biryani by Kilo
Biryani by Kilo is the hub of delicious Biryanis in Mumbai with 3 outlets. They have varieties in Biryani. They also have Kebabs, Kormas and Curries with Indian Breads.
As the name suggests they serve Biryani 1 Kg and ½ Kg in sealed earthen clay pot. They expertise in all types of Biryanis, be it Hyderabadi, Lucknowi or Kolkata Biryani. It is not only the biryani was nice with perfect flavors but also the entire experience of heating the Biryani with a small candle that comes along when you are unpacking the pot gives you a more satisfaction. Amazing!!!
Recently I have ordered the food from Andheri East outlet. The food delivery received on time and the food was warm with proper packaging.
What I tried:
Mutton Galouti Kebab: It was juicy, very soft and tender. The chutney comes along with was nice. Perfect in taste and texture was nice. Do try.
Chicken Korma: It was so tasty to be honest. Served in small clay pot. Enough for 2 people. The brown gravy was thick and perfect. A must recommended for Non vegetarian lovers.
Chicken Hyderbadi Biryani: Delicious Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani loaded with spicy marinated chicken, onions and flavorful saffron rice. Very happy to see Biryani was not at oily and hot. Perfect blend of long grain rice, spices and chicken pieces. Good to go to try this one.
Phirni: Not too sweet and consistency was thick. Good to go.
Overall, the food was fresh and piping hot with a good aroma. The quantity was adequate considering the pricing.
In my opinion you can check out this outlet for an Instant delivery of Biryani and Kebabs as well.

It is one of the best birayani s in Mumbai. We tried veg biryani but their non veg biryani is more yummy.
Had one of the best Biryani from BIRYANI BY KILO
They are very famous for their biryani and I have personally tried so many other biryani brands but when I had biryani from Biryani By Kilo it was so amazing in taste I totally fallen in love with their biryani.
I had the following items:-
1:- Murg Hyderabadi Biryani
2:- Chicken Ghee Roast
3:- Chicken Seekh Kebab
4:- Matka Phirni
All the items were good in taste.
Especially that murg Hyderabadi biryani. It was so amazing and it was cooked properly with proper ingredients.
Matka phirni was new for me but it was very good in taste and it is totally different from normal phirni in tastewise.
Even the quality of matka was good and all their matkas were reusable.
And the best part is that during this COVID 19 situation they follow all the guidelines and take precaution as per that.
Overall my experience was good with Biryani By Kilo
I recommend everyone to try Biryani By Kilo and I assure you that you will definitely love their food.

I had heard a lot about this outlet and I thought why not give it a try. This place is really amazing serving Biryani in the best authentic way. The Biryani came in a beautiful Matka and they even offered a very nice aanch to heat it. This place has great options to all the vegetarian as well as non vegetarian.
• Chicken Hyderabadi Biryani:- This came in a sealed matka and they made sure it reached me hot. The Biryani was nice and delicious. Good fluffy rice with nice tender chicken chunks. Came with Salan and was so delish. Totally recommended.
• Matka Phirni:- This had great quantity and it also came in a Matka. The Phirni was absolutely delicious and was so flavourful.
