We ordered our favorite dish from this place butter chicken and chicken fried rice. Most people must be wondering that this isn't the right combination to have but believe it or not once you have this combination made by Shanghai you will fall in love with it and keep ordering the same.
Butter chicken was mouth watering and not very spicy unlike other outlets that make it spicy.
Chicken fried rice had good chunks of chicken and was juicy and not dry.
Good food with great quantity and nice packaging
Very old restaurant and bar. we used to go at this place on weekend.They have a good space at roof top with dim light with a television.You can enjoy your drinks along with good food.
Always the go-to Place if budget constraints . AC , Non AC and Roof-Top Seating Available . Roof top is preferred everytime . Dim lights gets you that bar feeling . Rooftop is Little noisy place .
The cost for the drinks is reasonable here unlike other bars or pubs . Wide range of food as well . They prepare some good chinese food . The kabeb items are pretty good here as well esp Chi. tandoori . Do try the Cheese Garlic Naan for starts , Fish Platters and Dal Khichdi to end .
Good place to drink with friends on terrace. Best to visit to enjoy drinks with live match. Less load to your pocket ( cost efficient ) NORMAL BAR
If your looking forms cheap place to go after work in this area then this is the best place to go. Food tastes descent and is priced okay.
Service is a little slow but they have a seating area upstairs which is nice if you like to sit in open.
Been their couple of hours before...it's near my house... very nice roof top area.. quite.. & dark light.. good place to chill out with friends..
Service was quick & like to appreciate Mr. Naresh their server personally served us very well, attentive & friendly..
Rates are also very cheap & pocket friendly.. will visit this place again and again.. cheers..

Always went to terrace.. thats the btr place to be.. its quite near to my office so always an option for the late night dinner nd some alcohol.. its an cheap option compared to the other restaurants in line.. staffs very friendly nd quite familiar now :D ..food is quite good too...

Had attended a birthday party here last weekend. Good place for night out with boys gang. Tasty food. If you are seated on the terrace then it's a little too noisy because it's located bang on the heavy traffic Dindoshi main road. Better to sit in AC room if you want quiet surroundings.
We had gone with our family.The food was very delicious. We were rightly guided with the quantity of food for a large group. The prices were affordable and worth.. We all enjoyed a lot. The ambiance was great and the service they provided was awesome.

The best part.. it has a terrace sitting though covered now.
If you stay within Goregaon East & are on a Budget then this place is perfect, Sandwiched between other Bars 🍻 & a Liquor shop you have to negotiate your way through lots of Parked bikes (On the road) ... don't get be fooled by a small entrance...just keep moving inside climb 2 set of stairs and Voila YOU ARE ON TERRACE with plenty of seats ... Which usually fills fast after 9pm a Giant Screen (Projector) will greet you often playing Cricket 🏏 or filmy songs, So this is the best part TERRACE
You find a place to sit ... No assistance offered by the staff.. then your ordeal 😀 starts
Somehow you manage to attract a waiter's attention... He will come n stand... You start to explain your order .. he's just listening... not writing .. will nod while looking around. When you ask.. did you get it 🤘 he says with confidence OFF COURSE 🧐
Then after sometime he reappears clumsyly holding all the drinks in his hands.. yes you heard it right NO TRAY
He starts Putting everything on the table.. you want to help instinctively because of the amount of things he's carrying 😄 and YES you guessed it RIGHT he forgot many other Food items, reluctantly you start sipping your drink focusing on the Cricket playing on the giant projected Screen.
Believe me this happens every time we go there and we go once a week... We tried different waiters but they were all competitive enough to act the same 😉👨🍳🍻
Though i don't drink..i go to give company to my Friends and our group CEO likes to go there only 😉 👨🍳 May be some पिछले जन्म का रिश्ता 😂
Out of 6 We usually go 4 at a time or full house sometimes... Me n one other friend are only Veg in our group ..the other one even don't eat onion garlic..so he often orders for a Onion Garlic free DAL KHICHDI & It's delicious Even Paneer Chilli dry is also great... and as far the other friends enjoy their non veg food it looks Great too .. atleast that's a BIG SAVING GRACE 🙂
Despite our various efforts.. they are not bothered about their SERVICE & why not Because they are still crowded so why bothered 🧐
So guys if you are on a decent budget & want to enjoy terrace sitting and you can bare with their Non-existent Service and the Noise of fellow drinkers then this is the perfect place to head.
And Yes the FOOD IS GOOD

Good ambience of rooftop. And good food and service.
I spent my collage time on Shanghai bar terrace,that time it was amazing place for us,now its Nicely renowated with family section,really nice ambiience,good food,good service,mr Harish served us really nice way.....purane din yaad aa gaye
Excellent service, reasonably priced food. The outdoor section on the 2nd floor is a good place to relax and catch up over few drinks.

After the recent construction it's not open and ventilated but I am sure will get better as they get their open air floor open
Decent food the staff is good to talk to and helps in ordering and suggestions of regular served dishes
Over all the experience is good and I would to love to visit them again to try new dishes..
Very nice atmosphere it's perfect to hangout with frds. And one more thing u should try kalamiri chicken it was awesome 😋😋
It's a bar.. so enjoy here with your friends and colleagues or even bosses!👍 BUT NOT recommended for family getaway.. (well, u can drink there with your dad and bros if u like :P)
