One of the oldest hotel around in Mahakali. The food here is good. My personal favourite is the lahsooni prawns. Yummy. The roti’s and naan’s are a bit over-charged. But the home delivery are quite quick. Decent place with separate place for family.
This is a great place to have your food curated with great care .Awesome drinks .Mind u you will not be served duplicate or any other drinks post two or three pegs like in other known big places .In this place a lot of emphasis is placed on the well being of the customer .Mostly South Indian cuisine or ask for special curated dishes by the owner himself hence chances of them going wrong very rare.
My go to place if I'm hungry or just want a quiet drink with buddies. Nothing beats the Burnt garlic noodles and Chicken fried rice here that I always rely on for my late night cravings. The staff here is friendly and that adds up to the overall experience here. So if you're around mahakali this place is a must to go! And also invite me too ;)

This place is really lovely if you and your friends just want to catch up for a few drinks and wanna pass away time. Girls can be here as well but only at the bottom section. The food is surprisingly cooked to perfection and they don't make you wait long. I make it a point that when me and a buddy of mine are free we come here and have a few drinks! The tandoori is a must try from here and the lollipops! The prices are very reasonable if you compare it to the quality of the food! So just give it a try :)

Best place for home delivery if you're a non vegetarian I would suggest you to check this place out as I am in love with the taste of the food out here. Good to hang out place if your with your guy friends would never suggest you to take your family or any girl here as up gain a lot of unwanted attention. Rates are reasonable and quite affordable for the drinks as well. Staff is friendly and quick. Smoking zone should have been added. Ambience is not that great and seats are still the same old wooden ones being used yet but it's a great experience to be here

Hotel Shashikant is one of those places where i usually land up in when i am completely at loggerheads with whatever is cooked in the house(hint: vegan :D) . This also happens to be one of those places in the vicinity of my house, where the fish dishes are rather good. We do tend to order a lot from Shashikant, as their food IS good. However it is not a family restaurant. People will ogle shamelessly if you take a lady or a girl inside. It is indeed uncomfortable for them. That apart, the food is good and the drinks are dirt cheap(Well, in a typical bar like this,it isn't surprising). Some of their best dishes are prawn roasted chili, reshmi kabab, malai chicken kabab, chicken tandoori and bombil fry. Their bombil fry is indeed very good. The quantities are great and everything is easy on the pocket. One of the best things about this place is that it is open till 1 a.m. The waiters are friendly to me as i have been there multiple times,however they can come across as rude occasionally to newcomers as they are always rushing from one end of the restaurant to another. The second floor is a good place to be in as it's rather 'open' and more spacious. Try and avoid the lower floors. Oh and their khicha masala papad is amazing. I did have a bad experience with a waiter recently when on one of the previous visits I forgot to tip him, and he took out all his grudge by being super rude to me the next time. Anway, check this place out if you're low on budget but want some good food. It does make for a decent dine at home experience.

Is it any coincidence that most bars usually serve good food? Well if it is its a relief! The notable items are supreme on sticks, lemon chicken, chicken bhara kabab, grilled fish lemon butter, prawns creole, minestrone soup, chicken garlic sauce, chicken cilantro pepper, seafood butter garlic, malai kabab, achari kabab, banjara kabab, Shashikant spcl chicken and murg malwani. Even the Chinese food is really good. Place is definitely not for family or women. Home orders are delivered in reasonable time. Service is good. Again a bar that serves food that is good value for money. Highly recommended for home orders. All guys gang can visit and party.

I have been ordering from Shashikant for the last seven years . The food quality has always been excellent . the guy on the counter taking orders (presumably the owner) is as suave as ever , and he will always greet you once he gets your name from the address they have saved in their system. Pepper chicken here is one of a kind. And their triple schezwan fried rice is one of the best you will eat anywhere (the chindian version) . The best Part is that they take orders till 12.45 am. Perfect for insomniacs like me. The bar however is not someplace you can sit and have a meal . I did visit to check !

I came for a training in Mumbai, So my co. booked my room in Andheri east Mahakali caves road, after doing so many Permutations and combination and going via Zomato, the first Restaurant it was flashing was this Hotel Shashikant with 3.2 ratings
So I decided to check this out, to my surprise It was a more of a bar than Restaurant
So my advice to fellow zomatians is place a order,
Chicken Biryani's Rice quality was great, also garlic naan and chicken masala was good
So if u r staying in Ginger Hotel where I am staying you can always order from this self service hotel
I'm visiting this place since my childhood. Drinks are priced reasonable. Food is great too (Price as well as quantity). Waiters are just fine. Ambience is good, clean and maintained well. Just that restrooms need attention pertaining to cleanliness and hygiene. Cheers !

My friend and i were looking for a nice shady bar in Andheri. This place did not disappoint. It's got all the trappings of a place that sells cheap alcohol, plus a fantastic AC room. The people who come here are also very chill. I liked the food also. Every alcoholic's comfort food Dal Khichdi is done really well here. Don't forget to ask for roasted papad. Google timings might say this place is open only till 11 pm. But it goes on till the legally allowed 1 am.
Nice place, better than the average bar cum restaurants. Price should be slightly low, however, if that impacts their quality, quantity and service, I wouldn't mind the price. Quick and decent service, comfortable seating and good crowd. Food is tasty, their Indian starters or kebabs are better than their Chinese ones. Overall, a good place to spend time with friends.

It was cool place to hangout with friends. You can't smoke inside but there's a corner outside the hotel for smoking also a tapri side to the hotel. If you ask one of the waiters they can even get you the ciggy for you. Hope you enjoy here🎉
Nice and fine restaurant for lunch and dining on a budget. The restaurant offers wide variety of food. The restaurant has a/c section so if you are looking for cool place for lunch in a hot afternoon this is a good palace to go. The restaurant is in a nice neighbor hood so it is a great place to go with friends.
