Nice place to relax over drinks & food. Nice ambience as its recently rennovated. Waiters are very friendly, this could be your place if u are a regular drinker

The place is a little crowded because of the bar thing.
They have two sections A/c and Non-A/c. The environment in the A/c section is good as compared to Non-A/c section.
The quality and taste of the food is good.
The price range of the food is a little above normal.
The staff is good and polite and also good at their services.
A pretty decent place to hangout with friends. One time visit is recommended.

The Indo-Chinese food became very popular in the late 90's. Believe it or not this place is one of the oldest hotel in Charkop which started serving Chinese. I remember I celebrated my 8th Bday over here.
Prior to Akhil, there weren't many hotels in Charkop which served Chinese and most of the Charkopeites :P used to go Shri Krishna Fast food in Dhanukar Wadi (Near Mhatre plaza) for Chinese.
As Rishikesh has rightfully placed in his review, this place is no longer a place where you could bring in your family for dinner but more of a place where one can have liquor in addition to food. Hop in, if you enjoy a tandoori or chicken lollypop along with beer, for those who don't drink like me, this place wont offer any value for money.
Hotel Akhil.
Probably the first restaurant of my life i visited since my childhood. Those days it was good for families too. Now only bar, local bar. Food quality is still about avg, not bad. Service is quick. But can't take families there now. Economical option for any time.
Nice small joint! Booze is reasonable, but what works as a surprise is the chef makes some awesome food. I am a fan of the Dal Tadka and rotis also. Totally must visit.
Food is delicious if you are a nonvegetarian you must try dishes here it's very mouthwatering

Loved the food. I love their chicken soup. Every time I come to India I go there, however this time around it was not the same that's why I did give 5 Star. Hopefully next time.
Good food and best service
One of the oldest and famous hotel in the area, not huge but hugely appealing to people who love to drink in old school bars, Akhkl restaurant and bar is a known landmark for people staying nearby and popular name amongst the local. If you want to buy alcohol and shops are closed, you can pay extra and buy it from Akhil bar and restaurant till its open. The food and service is also genuine.
