Real tasty food. Didn't have anything to complain about in anything we ordered. Ordered chicken steamed momos, chicken manchow soup, chicken burnt garlic fried rice and chicken chilli basil gravy. The food was really fresh, lots of egg and chicken in the rice, and the chicken was cooked really well in the gravy dish.
It's just a small place with one table, but recommended.
6th May 2019. Ordered online via Swiggy app: veg meal box that had broccoli, 🥕, mushroom, fried rice, Burmese sauce, crushed peanuts; packed well, delivery before ETA, food was hot and delicious except one stone came while eating so that was disappointing, cut 1 for that.
One night, just before dinner, we had some Chinese cravings and wanted to have a bite of our favourite Indochinese dish - Hakka Noodles. So while checking online for delivery, we came across this new place named 'Downtown China'. For us, this place was unheard of and we decided to experiment. We ended up ordering Veg Schezwan Noodles.
Taste - 5/5 Very tasty & spicy
Quantity - 3.5/5 Decent quantity & was served with extra schezwan sauce
Cost - Around Rs. 180 bucks after some ongoing discounts
Overall pleasantly surprised & satisfied with the noodles. Will reorder someday.
So I finally decided to try out the food at Downtown China.
I ordered for a Chicken Clear Soup, Burnt Garlic Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken In Hunan Sauce along with Crispy Chicken.
Excellent quality and quality, with authentic Indian Chinese Yumminess to it. Full marks to the food.
Highly recommend this place to all food lovers.
The taste is pretty good I've tried decent amount of dishes from their menu.. My favourite among them is chicken chilli basil and burnt garlic rice.

I often order from this restaurant. Portions are decent. Taste & quality is also good. You should try if u love Chinese food. Overall my experience is good.
So here's my woe in life. I love love love Chinese food. Authentic, Desi, all kinds. But I absolutely cannot tolerate spicy food. See how that's a problem? My desi Chinese options are pretty much limited to plain fried rice and hakka noodles, because almost everyone insists on making desi Chinese tongue burning, mouth numbingly spicy.
That's why discovering Downtown China was a joy. Finally..tasty and flavorful food with just the right amount of spice. So far I've ordered in from them twice.. and loved the food both times. I could finally eat schezwan fried rice without tears streaming down my face! I'm looking forward to trying a few more different dishes from here soon. Keep it up guys!

Had paneer chilli,fried rice and spring roll. Spring roll looked a bit burnt but that didn't affect the taste.fried rice had lot of veggies( paid 30 RS extra ) and paneer chilli was amazing. Paneer pieces were very soft. Ordered via zomato and got the delivery well before the expected time. Quantity is less. The rice was very less as compared to the gravy so 1 Portion of gravy is enough for 2 plate of rice if u can adjust.

We tried two types of Momo's, both pan fried.

Both were equally amazing and the pan fried suited it up well.
▪️ Barbeque Chicken wings.

All these appetizers carried the same shade. Fish Chilli was the most amazing item among all these. Barbeque chicken wings were crispy and spicy as well.

Despite of not using using ajinomoto they made the food taste well.
Today I ordered Chicken Thai Red Curry Combo which is very well made as all the flavours blend beautifully with vegetables which are cooked to perfection.
It’s was too spicy, not too sweet, but a perfectly balanced combination of coconut milk, spices,with veggies. I will surely recommend this.

Stopped by at Downtown China for a quick bite during work.
As we were chatting there, got to know that the biggest plus here is that NO MSG and NO AJINO MOTO is used in food here.
The place is tiny and tidy indoors but outdoors are a bit shabby.
We quickly called in for 2 items i.e
Chicken Hot Garlic Meal Combo - This is a basic meal to fill 1 stomach with Rice, Gravy, Kimchi Salad and Spring Rolls.
Fish Meal Box with Oyster Sauce - Well made dish with soft Basa fish pieces.
Overall, the place serves decent food and you can drop by here for some VFM Chinese food when in Mahakali.

By far, one of the best Chinese food places available in Andheri. I'm a regular here and these guys just don't lower the quality benchmark they have set. Lemon Coriander Soup, Pot Rice, different varieties in Meal box, Chicken hakka noodles and many more dishes are yummy.
P.S.: The overall rating of 3.3 absolutely doesn't justify the taste and experience here.
Good chinese food available here. This is a very small outlet hardly 2-3 tables. Food can improve especially pan fried momos they were almost same as steamed. In panfried they should add sauces to the momos and make more tasty. They pan fry it just for the sake of pan frying, it tastes same as steamed momos. Rest all good. Quick service. 👍🏻

This is a newly opened Chinese joint at Mahakali. Decided to try this place out for lunch on a weekday. The restaurant has very limited seating arrangement, not suitable for a groups or families, however it is good for small groups and couples. You can also always opt for a take away or get the food delivered at your place. The place boasts of a menu with ample variety for vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians alike. Among the 3 of us, we ordered for their Chicken Manchow Soup, Prawns Salt n Pepper and Sausge Chicen Fried Rice. One of my friends also ordered a Paneer Hot Garlic Meal Box that came with a choice between Fried Rice or Fried Noodles, Paneer Hot Garlic Sauce, two Spring Rolls and Kimchi Salad. The service was quick and the way the food was presented was also good. Can recommend for Chinese takeaway, home delivery or a quick meal.

It was very new for me but as it came I had .In starting I didn't felt this is gonna be spicy but after that having those small red chillies made my taste so spicy but apart from that chicken was so juicy and tender and properly getting the feel of chilli oil and capsicum and green onions stem .Good in taste. But yes it's spicy so caution.
And then at the end when I went to pay the bills that owner offered me ice tea for free.isnt it great m like thank God.finally then my month was settled.

This is a revised review of this outlet. The first order from this place was a tad unsatisfactory in terms of the taste of food. Once I mentioned this on my review, the lady owner, Mrs. Anjana got in touch with us and offered to send the same food again to better our experience. And it did live up to the promise. Downtown china is a new chinese place on the block serving various chinese dishes, tweaked for the Indian Palate. The chicken chilli garlic rice had a wonderful smell of burnt garlic with the right amount of flavours. The chicken pieces in the rice needed better marination though. The chicken 65 was tasty and had all the right ingredients. Hope the restaurant is able to maintain its consistency and it will do just fine. My compliments to the management to be so proactive and concerned about maintaining customer satisfaction. :)

The service is pretty quick and the food is tasty too. I didn't need to add sauce for the Schezwan rice we had ordered. The number of seats is a tad lesser than we would have liked but the courtesy of the staff made up for it. The food was hot and disposable cups, plates and spoons made it a little unorthodox but interesting. Enjoyed the meal here.

Based on my feedback below, the management got in contact and expressed their concern for the same. They sent a fresh order complimentary the next day which rectified the issue and food was good and tasty.

Ordered Chicken crispy and chicken schezwan sauce. Actually wanted to order rice but ordered sauce by mistake. Anyways the taste was not good. Chicken crispy was the worst I have ever had. Soggy, chewey and hardly any chicken in it.

One of the best Chinese I have ever had. This is the place for which I get cravings for. Can go to any outlet for satisfying the taste buds. Barbeque potatoes must have dish.
Visited this new Chinese outlet in Andheri East which has excellent starters in the form of spring rolls, momos and chicken lollipops. Then had some chicken fried rice and chicken black bean sauce which was excellent!
The ambience was excellent as well and the service was prompt.
Also ordered some food for delivery and the quality of it remained impeccable even after delivery.
I visited Downtown China recently and got to enjoy some really tasty food. For starters I ordered a Chicken Manchow Soup and was very pleased with the quantity and proportion. The soup was delicious and is definitely a must have. I ordered a Chicken Spring roll as well and was pleasantly surprised as there were an abundant amount of this mouth watering dish. The spring rolls were filled to the core with chicken and a great variety of veggies. Next I feasted on some absolutely scrumptious Chicken lollipops. The flavour came through in every taste and I highly recommend it. And lastly I enjoyed a great amount of steamed chicken mom's stuffed to the core with a delicious sauce.
For the main course I ate the chicken fried rice and chicken hakka noodles accompanied with chicken in black pepper sauce and loved! Overall the food was really tasty and the proportions were more than enough. Downtown China is definitely a place you must visit.

Finally the best Chinese cuisine has come to my neighbourhood ! The name, Downtown China says it all and the branding just cannot be missed on the street. Standing amidst powerful brands at Mahakali Caves Road, Downtown China serves some mind blowing platter of delicious and mouth watering Chinese dishes. The momos, the appetizers, the soups should never be missed. Fish Teriyaki was super yummy while the egg fried rice and the burnt garlic noodles taste still lingers on. The best part is the absence of ajinomoto from all dishes cooked and this made me feel safe and confident of trying the dishes all the more. The ambience is perfect within the small neighbourhood and the cosy seating inside provides a very special feeling. There are also few seating outside for a bigger group.
A must visit for all Chinese lovers ! And one shall keep ordering and visiting again and again !

If you crave for Street style yummy Chinese, the way most of us like it, only in a much nicer ambience and made in a hygienic kitchen.... Head to this newest outlet from this very famous and award winning brand. I loved the food so much, I had to take away as well. Definitely going back for more!! If you haven't already, go get your Chinese (ajinomoto free)!!!! There's variety, there's taste and there's a touch of 'feel good'... All packed in one!
