It’s one of my most favourite dessert parlours in the entire Bombay. Yes, it is operated from home, which makes it even more personalised and reliable when it comes to taking care and hygiene.
I have ordered the Mango Cream Cake atleast on 4 different occasions, and have had enormous jars; and it’s one of the best mango dessert preparations available. Being passionate about trying & cooking various desserts myself, I can vouch for this one.
I’ll suggest for anyone to surely go for it. Only set back being; its seasonal. But I’m surely looking forward to it this season as well, like all the others.

The Molten Chocolate Jar is one of the best dessert jars I've tasted, very fresh, full of chocolate and not too sweet.
The owner is also very professional and usually, the jars are ready and can be picked up within an hour or so.
It is definitely one of the best gifting options, whatever the ocassion.
Extremely quick and delicious solution to a dessert craving or last minute gifting options. Extremely good for gifting purposes as it comes sealed and packed in presentable jars with a bow.
It's a Jar full of sin and chocolate and flavour.
The jars are reusable and very good quality.

Molten chocolate 🍫- that's been my all time favourite for myself and for gifting. Very pleasing and appealing to the eye and taste. It's delicious with creamy chocolate slightly dark and milk chocolate with a crunchiness breaking the sweetness of the chocolate. It's the most decadent taste.
Red velvet - I'm a big fan of this too. There are very few red velvet cakes and pastries I like in and around the city and this is one of them. Not too sweet not too salty. It's the right taste.
The only little downfall here is they don't home deliver. You have to go and collect it. Otherwise everything works in favour of JAR designs 😁
This is a 'go-to' place for the yummiest cakes! Absolutely delicious and on point with the packaging , quality and variety! They keep adding flavours depending on the season and it's really difficult to pick a favourite as all the flavours are great! ❤.

Ordered it through Scootsy, they're incredibly delicious!! The molten chocolate and red velvet are definitely my favorite. The molten chocolate is superb when heated and have ordered these quite often for gifts also since they do a really nice packaging.

Nishita is the homebaker who bakes these cute yummilicious and scrumptious jar cakes is so sweet and humble , she will make your jar cakes in no time you need to call her 45 mins prior max and she makes the most delicious cakes.. i ordered goeey molten chocolate jar and red velvet cheese from her and it was the best i had in those cute jars with cute little note attached to it
We discovered this place at a flea market and we were instantly impressed and hence wanted to try the cake jars again.
Situated in jvpd this place offers delivery as well. We ordered two cold jars nutella and apple with vanilla custard and one hot jar i.e. molten chocolate.
The cake jars are well layered and has amazing texture. The chocolate and nutella compliments the way your tongue wants it to. The chocolate is rich and smooth. We liked the apple vanilla also it was pretty unique.
The molten jar was the highlight. It felt like having a really well made choco lava.
You should try this place for it's amazing cake jars and it's a pretty good gifting item
The dessert jars they offer are simply blissful. We have tried this place a several times and have always loved it. Our personal favourites are molten chocolate, chocolate fudge and molten baileys jar. The chocolate is rich and each layer in the jar is fresh and moist. The molten baileys jar has just a perfect balance of the liqueur and sweetness. This is one of the must try home-bakers in the city.

In search of a place to satisfy our terrible sweet cravings we ran into this home chef whipping up some lip smacking desserts @ Jar designs.
We ordered the salted caramel, molten baileys and molten chocolate jar.
And they were fantastic, not too sweet and and absolutely light. They will leave you wanting more of them. If you think you'll stop at one spoon you're gonna have to go back on your thoughts. It's just too addictive making us want to lick the jar clean ;p
It is difficult to pick the winner but if we have to then the warm jar of Molten Bailey's is sure to be the one.
But the salted caramel and the molten chocolate are not any less. These notorious jars leave you enchanted, doing more then just satisfying the sweet tooth.
A must try for dessert lovers. :)

I have received jars from this place as gifts several times and they are amazing... Mouthwatering and delicious,just need to be warmed in the microwave and it's ready to devour... It's a good idea as a gifting solution...

Lil Flea introduced me to the Jar Designs. I have been actively following them on Instagram. So when my birthday was nearing, I thought what could be better than a Mango Cake for a May Born Child. And the Mango Cake from their Insta page was The Ideal Choice. A day before, I called Nishita and arranged for a 1.5 kg cake for my birthday. One word- Gorgeous ! Even the non-fruit cake lovers devoured it 2-3 times. I had thought my cake would last atleast till the next day but not even a morsel was left the other day. I still have my birthday cake on my mind. My brother's nearing birthday seems like a good opportunity to sample it again !
P.S. Do have her Jar Cakes. They melt in your mouth. Heavenly !

Molten baileys- amt of baileys very less. Seems like only choc after few bites. Too sweet for us.
Molten coffee- expected bitter coffee punch.. Was okay. Can increase coffee.
Fresh Strawberry - was in season so tried. Was decent. Cake was dry.
Red velvet- most disappointed. It was actually pink velvet, overload of pink colour used..Lot of WHIPPED CREAM passed on as cream cheese. Did not get the cheesy salty flavr of cream cheese much. Very dry crumble. Either ppl who reviewed it was OMG don't know cream cheese or my bad luck.
Value for money- okay.. I might be better off ordering above pastries from BBC or San churros or even 5spice et al...
Overall- i don't see me craving for jar designs again.

If there is anyone's birthday its a compulsion to take a jar from here. the lady is very sweet , just make a call 1 hr early and the jar will be ready for you at the house. have tried most of the jars like melted cheese, red velvet , Nutella mousse cake, tiramisu cake, chocolate fudge, chocolate and hazelnut mousse, Oreo mousse. special mention for the red velvet cheese cake. Considering the prices for its 220 and 550gms , its worth every bit and definitely would recommend it to others.

Be it my birthday or my friend's birthday I have been ordering their jars.. And it's always a delight!!My favourite flavours are Molten chocolate and red velvet (to be honest,I'm just hooked on these two so much that I don't try out others)
We ordered for the Molten Chocolate, the red velvet, coffee fudge and Fondue pot . Each jar was distinct and delicious the molten chocolate and fondue pots were our favourite as they were very innovative flavours. All products tasted very fresh and presentation was excellent too .
Had called for the molten chocolate and red velvet jars. And OMG, I couldn't stop eating it. The red velvet was out of the world and just had the perfect level of sweetness. The quality of the ingredients make the product a treat to eat.
It's also a perfect invite or give away gifts. Go ahead and try out any of their flavors. Can't wait to get my hands on the next few flavours.
Woooooooooooooohooooooo!! The best freaking hot jars ever! I don't even have words to express the state of my tongue and stomach right now. Finger licking good. The Hot Chocolate jar and Chocolate and Hazelnut Mousse are to die for. One jar feels insufficient after you take a bite. Must go. Amazing place.

Aaaaaaamaaaazzzing Hott Jars! Visited Mumbai for a short vacation.. Tried out soo many outlets. I had ordered hot jar designs before I left for UK and requested them to pack it accordingly. They froze the Jars and packed it tightly so it dsnt damage. I couldn't wait until I reached home to open my suitcase and try out the hot jar. The coffee flavor was awsum! ! Please try out guys.. Highly recommend for all the chocolate lovers out there!! Yummmmm!

I ordered a mango cream jar for my parents anniversary.. they loved it. My friends have ordered other flavours, even they loved. This one is a perfect value for money place.. as dessert jars at other places are really costly. Looking forward for another occasion so that i get to order a cake from this place.

So.. First things FIRST..The products go EXACTLY by the name.. 'Jar Designs' is really good with how they make their jars look..The lines are really clean and one can actually see the different flavours that layer up!..
My personal favourite is the Molten Chocolate and the Fresh Mango Cream cake...
As I mentioned earlier, the layering is so well done that flavours also layer in your mouth perfectly!..Ver smooth and its hard to believe that EVERYTHING is eggless!!. A good example of seeing and eating with your eyes..

Tempted by the pics, reviews and menu, I visited this place with a friend. Thinking it's a road side thing near mithibai v started searching n ended up at some ones house, yes! But it was easily located.
We were suppose to place an order before going but since it was a weekday we had r hands on choco fudge and molten chocolate. THE BEST THING! WORTH THE PRICE! It was the yummiest desert I have tasted in such a cheap rate.

Best type of desert i have ever had. Got one of the molten choco jar as a gift for a friend and she mustve not even left a part with chocolate. The best part is that it is vegeterian.
So the first time I ordered were the Jars
1) Strawberry Colada
It was really Yumm it had strawberry pieces with the base of a cake & with cream which was a really nice combination. Really liked it!
2) Molten Chocolate
This one was the best especially the molten chocolate

Ever since I came across Jardesign's profile on Instagram, I have been tempted by the delicious cakes and jar desserts that they make.
I recently tried a few flavors on account of my Aunt's birthday. I couldn't think of a better option since she is a sucker for sweets. And the packaging of these cute little jars make them a perfect gifting option too! A layered cake packed into an airtight jar that you can reuse once you’re done devouring its delicious contents.
Here's my take on the 3 flavors that i picked up:
RED VELVET CHEESECAKE - The jar is full of cream cheese and red velvet! Every bit is deliciously sinful and takes you to another world. Made with fresh cream, it tastes the best on the day you buy it. You can keep it in the fridge and it lasts easily for 2-3 days, but I am sure that you would not be able to stop yourself for so long.
STRAWBERRY COLADA - This is another hit, made with fresh strawberries and is one of their best-sellers. Not overtly sweet and tasted absolutely delicious.
MOLTEN CHOCOLATE - This Jar of orgasmic gooey goodness, just hits the spot. Warm it up in the micro for 15 secs and the fudge melts into a smooth chocolatey awesomeness. You can also see all the beautiful layers of chocolate and other layers of the cake through the jar which makes you feel like just having all of it.
I can still vividly recollect the wonderful flavors and just thinking about them is making me salivate.
And the cherry on the cake is the reasonable pricing of these desserts!

I was sent these jar desserts from a friend who intended to place an order for her new born baby. I had originally had a couple of jar desserts from country of origin but they were quite expensive. I was pleasantly surprised to see a much cheaper and reasonable option for the same... cute little almost individual sized portioned jars. Although i didn't care for the paan velvet, its a novelty for the experimenting kind of people. The choco fudge was ok. But the stand out was the red velvet and the molten chocolate... The red velvet especially had a distinct flavour of white chocolate as soon as one opened the jar. The quality of COO may be slightly better but you also pay a considerably higher price for it... so this is a must once try at least.
In a week i have ordered it twice...the best flavour to have is chocolate vanilla and their seasonal rasberries....its too yummieee...now its on my list every time i visit mumbai...

A first tasted this jar of heaven over 6-8 months ago, and I was instantly intoxicated by the awesome taste. Rich, creamy and sinful, each of these flavors are to die for.

I have had the chico vanilla fudge, the salted caramel and the chocolate hazelnut one. Each of them were finished within seconds of opening it.
