I have been to kokan vaibhav on various occasions and also frequently ordered.My favourites are Egg masal,kokani chicken masala,chicken fry.I loved the taste and home like food.Not so oily and coconut based.

I had an amazing experience at this place. It gave a whole new experience in sea food . They have a perfect taste in each and every food stuff they serve here. I firstly ordered kheema tawa masaledaar it was absolutely good in taste one of the best kheema i ever had. I also tried flower batana Rassa which was also good and delicious.
Surmai tawa fry and kala vatana usal took ny dining experience to a whole new level.
I had a proper authentic traditional dining experience here.
Its a must visit place fo sea food other non veg food items.

Kokan Vaibhav- Taste of home!
A small place but fit as per your menu and taste. If your taste buds are craving for 'ghar jaisa khana', so Kokan Vaibhav would be the right choice. I visited it a year back on the occasion of wedding anniversary and really loved Murg ghar jaisa, tandoori and crab! Recently, got a chance to order it for Tandoori Crab 🦀

amazing place to eat sea food the fried pomfret tawa fried prawns will give you a Goan experience .staff is not that trained but the food takes away the staff experience . you can opt for a fish thaali to get a combination of curry fried fish rice & roti which is called bhakri here which is a konkan delicacy. for sea food lovers it's a must go.
Had been there for a family lunch....The good was good speacially the sea food was quite good and fresh ....Would recommend for a person looking for good seafood ...Not forgetting the solkadi😀

Good small place . You will cherish the Jijaji food here . Prawn biryani was amazing . Fish was a bit stale though . Excellent vade n son kaḍi . Cleanliness can be much better . We sat in the ac area - there is a open area also which seems very exciting .
A nice place to have konkan food. Have had dinner with family over here on numerous times. The taste of the food is always nice. Pleasent service tops it up. Different seating are for families and drinkers which is a welcome.

It was a last moment decision to have sea food so this is the first place that popped in my mind. Did pass by this hotel many times but finally ate here today. Orders : a. Surmai and Prawns tawa fry for starters , price 360 /-and 300/- Great taste of Surmai one of the best Surmai I had so far. Prawns was tasty too but felt a bit overpriced considering the quantity I got. b. Paaya Soup: Superb taste and completely value for money. Loved every sip of it. 160/- completely justified.c. Pawns Masala : I asked to make it a bit spicy but the chef was excited with stock of Red chillies so I guess he put a handful of them which made it over spicy but taste wise authentic Malvani with coconut flavour. d. Rice Bhakri 20/- each but not that great. e : Soulkadi : Just great. The food is great and scrumptious but the only drawback is service. Orders take ages to be served.Irritating especially when u have to wait middle of dinner. Overall a good family restaurant for Malvani sea food and yes a must try. Totally recommended , I hope u don't face service issues. Happy eating !!!

I stopped by here with my girlfriend for a silent dinner date. The ground floor restaurant is good to eat and drink. Service is quick. I won't advise to go up at the bar if you have female company with you (this advise was given to me by one of the waiters there). Food and drinks are at reasonable rates
So whenever I feel I need to eat yummmy fish... Malvani cuisine I just walk down here...!!!

This place never disappoints.... I hate the boring ac section as it is monotonous. Bombil fry was super, manchow soup really nice and I always prefer the outer seating arrangement. Decent price tag for such an experience...
Daily fresh catch to choose from, option to sit in open yet comfortable or in the ac section, pay for the fish not for the recipe, reasonable pricing, must haves Surmai Tandoori, Crab Tandoori, Kolbi Bhaat, I'm already their regular.

Got to knw about this place from my husband's friend, being a seafood lover both of us decided to get here for dinner.
Cozy ambience and they have two kind of set up dhaba style in open air and AC restaurant. We sat in the AC restaurant, staffs were kind enough to attend us as soon as we had our seats. We asked the steward to suggest nice konkani style dry fish preparation. He genuinely answered our queries and came with a plate of whl fishes; surmai, surmai slice, aluwa, pomfret. We ordered for Tawa fried whl surmai which came in 15 mins and was yummy 😋
The Masala had a strong malwani flavour, it was very interesting to have a different kind of preparation. Later for maincourse we ordered mutton thali with rice bhakri. I must say that was the best mutton sukkha I ever had 😋
The rice bhakri was too soft. The thali was enough for 2 people. Food was very good but the dessert part was lil disappointing as they didn't had a simple chocolate ice-cream then v had to switch to malai kulfi which was too hard and not so good.
Altogether its a good place for seafood lovers and foodies, not so expensive, value for money
Will be back here with my family next time.

Non veg menu is as always good. This time tried the mutton thali. The sukha mutton in the thali was delicious. Do try their sole/soul curry, you will love it.

One of the good and rare konkani food restaurant to be found in mira road. Must try is their prawns fry.... they will make your taste buds go crazy. Even their chicken n mutton thalis are good. A new addition to their service is they have expanded to another level and they do serve booze out there.

very nice restaurant, kokani as well as Indian, Chinese & tandoori cousin available. taste is superb especially malavani & kokani food is a specialty. location is convenient, ample parking space, easy to locate. it is one of the best family restaurants in Miraroad which don't serve liquor.

The name has changed to Coastal now. And in turn, they've turned around the vibe of the place. Ground floor section is for family/couples. First floor is for just guys. It's completely air conditioned. The food quality however, is the same, which is a good thing. Definitely recommend trying the seafood here
