The food here is amazing. Not too spicy. Perfectly cooked. And also, timely service. Most important thing in the food industry is to serve timely and cook it properly. Which the restaurant has served.

Legacy has been around for several years with different names and it being in our neighbourhood it’s a place we just can’t ignore. The staff is nice and friendly and the food taste and its portion in regards to value for money is quite ok. However the quality and taste is not consistent amongst all dishes in the menu. Personally I feel the food standards have fallen lately and the 4 rating is a motivational review as I believe Legacy could do better!

So this eatery keeps changing it's name, which can be confusing. Right now it goes by the name Ramanjaneya which was its original name with legacy of Mumbai in fine print at the bottom. So you are in the right place if Google maps brought you there.
The restaurant is your typical mom and pop favorite, family or group meals sort of a place and the upholstery has become a little old and soiled, but the food is what you should go there for.
This place takes variety very seriously. Their menu includes South Indian, North Indian, Indian Chinese, Italian, Maharashtrian street favorites, Chaat, fast food and a sprinkling of other cuisines.
Over multiple visits we have tried all cuisines and almost everything was par excellence. I was a little disappointed with their Chinese and may not order that again but there is so much else to choose. It's a great place to go in a group that has different choices

For all the vegetarians out there, this is a place you should try which says LEGACY OF MUMBAI. The ambience is all based on the theme, well maintained. The menu card is the real cool stuff. The specialty of a particular area of mumbai is transformed into a dish like what I ordered is the zing in the juhu which is perfect blend of mint and lemon (*goodstuff*). The panner makhani pizza is also good and brings that inner joy. The food is really good. The service is good. A good place to hangout with friends and Ofcourse nice food.

Visited the place during Diwali for lunch and it was packed. Waited almost for an hour and then they placed a few tables in the open area for us. The service was super slow and the servers were too busy with themselves. The only saviour here was food and that is what matters. Even though the food arrived late, the taste was good enough. Started with some steaming hot Idlis and continued with Veg Chilly Milli and Paneer Handi accompanied with Butter Naan. Also had the Paneer Biryani which was quite good.

Finally got an opportunity to visit this place. From outside looks like a common South Indian restaurant but once u step inside u realise the difference. Huge menu card, comfortable seating and ambience. Ordered couple of dosas and tawa mushroom. Dosa is accompanied by 2 chutneys and sambhar. Overall a gr8 vfm place. Need to visit more than once to explore.
This restaurant is perfect for veg lovers... but too much waiting on Saturday nd Sunday.... taste was awesome.... must try cream of mushroom soup.. hot sizzling brownie

I've always been to Legacy of Mumbai during the hunger Strikes in my stomach.
➡️Bhoona Lasooni: It's another name for lasooni palak,perfectly cooked,right amount of garlic,and absolutely delicious in taste.
➡️Farmhouse Pizza: We are always hungry for pizzas, here's one of the best pizzas you can try, right amount of cheese dripping from the pizza makes it more cheesy to eat. And the olives, capsicum,onion make it a perfect combination for the pizza lovers.

One of my favourite go to places for breakfast or lunch. I particularly enjoy their veg sandwich which comes with tempting french fries. Images good service is good food is healthy and good. have tried a lot of dishes from different types of Pav Bhaji to pani puri / South Indian to North Indian. the preparation is really nice. price is slightly higher than the neighbouring restaurant but its value for money. It's usually crowded in the afternoon between 1 to 2. Staff is good but had one or two occasions where I felt they do not care.

I have been going to this space for the past 5 years. It serves an eclectic menus that caters to different palettes on the same table.
South Indian, Italian, North Indian, Chinese, juices, soups, chaat items - I have tried every type of cuisine in this place - each and every dish is YUMMY!
My parents love the onion bhajjiyas while I love the soups and kurkuri bhindi raita. My in-laws love the North Indian food and my husband loves the dal tadka here.
The seating is extremely comfortable, the bigger tables have the corners cut flat making it a child friendly place. You will find a mixed crowd here: families, kitty party crowd, college students, lovers, senior citizens and friends ...it's probably because of the amazing menu and yummy food.
The waiters are alert and extremely friendly with children and adults. They are able to guide on the menu items and suggest based on a sharp gut based judgement of you and your family.
Have reduced one star because of the unclean washrooms. Rest is perfect! If you are looking at an affordable, hygienic and tasty meal in Malad - this is the place to be :).
Unplanned dinner midweek wanted to try a mix of cuisine and decided to drop by here, after passing by number of times from SV Road, but never eating here.

Ordered for the Tomato Soup, Idli, Onion Uttapam, Mix Veg Platter (Indian Tandoor, Continental, Chinese all put together). This was too much an order as well for 5 people to finish.

Food was not at all a prob but ordering was not hassle free. I want to add 4 extra pav with pav bhaji which I wasn’t able to. Then I called up the restaurant person & then selected other options. Nice restaurant. Veg crispy, Paneer sizzler was nice. Amazing service. We celebrated birthdays of two of our friends there. And staff supported well. Appreciate the service given by Kumar Shetty specially. We asked one big bag to carry the cakes. And he made one big bag with material available to him. It was truly out of the way service. He would have simply said it is not available but he took all the efforts to make the customer satisfied. Keep it up.

When I planned to visit here I was a bit tensed as it is located on the busy junction of SV Road. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find valet parking available.
The seating is like any fast food restaurant and the service is pretty fast too. Body temperature was not checked and all the staff was wearing mask incorrectly. On seating we were handed over a bottle of mineral water which they later charged. I am sure regular water is served but we did not bother to check.
I ordered a Sada Mysore dosa which was very tasty and crispy. My friend ordered a Rava Onion Masala dosa. To go with it we ordered a Vegetable manchurian which was excellent. The restaurant not only specialises in Southern India dishes but also of Punjabi, Chinese and continental. This is a vegetarian restaurant
Finally the price is quite budgeted and thus we left with a contended heart without much damage to the pocket.

A perennial favorites for all the vegetarian lovers in Malad. The old shree Ramanjaneya has been reinvented in this new trendy high end restaurant with a touch of Mumbai. The food is excellent at very affordable rates. Their SOMETHING MORE menu is incredible and recommended when you're on a shoestring budget but don't want to compromise on variety.
