Gopal Locho's has made it easy for the locho cravers like us & more convenient for us to grab the lochos at anytime we want, rather than going to Surat to eat that kinda taste of locho which is all over available here at Mumbai ... locho is the speciality of Surat but Gopal's Locho has made it possible to get that taste here.
We tried Lasaniya locho & Cheese butter.. both were amazing at it's place but Cheese Locho was more delicious compared to Lasaniya locho.
Lassaniya had a spicy texture more & some what tangy taste... lochos were served with tasty green chutney. It's a small outlet but a kinda comfortable one...Cheese butter no doubt was the best ...Overall we had a nice experience...

My friend who is a gujrati then told me that thus is very famous in surat and you should have it
Tried the normal locho and found it tasty, it was something different for me and i liked it.
We tried the butter locho which was served with green chutney, green chillies and onions which tasted good as a whole.

You can order a traditional locho but if you are a true foodie try their other varieties too

Gopal locho is the place to go for soothing your Soorti Locho craving. Amazing locho, served with delicious chutney. The variety of locho is also splendid and i have tried many of them, they're good but the real taste lies in the regular one. The white dhokla are soft and tasty too. Overall nice experience.

This is a small outlet opposite dmart in mahavir nagar. Ordered the oil locho and the lasuniya locho. Both tasted amazing. The lasuniya locha was topped with cheese along with garlic chutney and sev. Being a gujju, i always look out for gujju foods in my surroundings. Then i came across Gopal Locho. It has variety of lochos. And trying all of them is so exciting as every different flavour has amazing taste. I love being gujju :)
I had the basic locho, was pretty satisfied coz it's the same Surat speciality and the taste, texture is the same.. Would visit again to try other varieties..
Gopal locho is known for its sandwiches and chaats.
The cheese sandwich is its best selling sandwich and that's what i tried and found it really worth every penny.
Order Sev khamani and plain locho.
Both kind of look similar but their taste is very different.
Sev khamani was okayish but locho is amazing.

Getting the exact and the perfect gujarat dish of locha in Mumbai is a bliss. It gives you a typical gujarati feeling in Mumbai. We had the lasaniya locha and loved it.

My favourite is the sour cream and onion locha and butter locha.

I have never tried Locho before and was curious to know what the restaurant had to offer. Another customer in the restaurant recommend that we try. We ordered the Butter Locho. It was scrumptious. I then decided to experiment and try the Italian Locho which was layered with a garlic based sauce and cheese. I loved the food and would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Locho is a specialty of Surat, Gopal’s serves one of the best versions of locho that you will find in Mumbai. And having it close to my work place is even better than that.

It is the most awesome vegetarian find in ages. Cream and onion locho is very creamy, tasty and yummy. It is melt in the mouth. The chutney goes well with it and the onions are just the crunch required in the creaminess of locho. Thanks to Surat for the awesome invention.

It was Sunday morning, and it was a typical Surti breakfast, Locho.
After a great confusion between Italian Locho and Cheese Tandoori Locho, we chose the latter and also Sev Khamni.
Cheese Tandoori Locho was yummy, but the presentation could be improved.
I liked Sev Khamni as well, though I didn't eat much of it
They have a good variety of Lochos. They can also add Jalebi and Fafda to the menu, which will captivate the Gujjus.
I can recommend this place for breakfast or a quick snack, but not for a heavy meal.
I traveled all the way to Kandivali to taste Locho and I wasn't disappointed at all... It's a small place with very few tables to sit so if you are visiting the place with bigger family then you have to wait for some time but the food is worth waiting for.

I had only heard of Locho before, but I got to try for the 1st time at this place, and I'm so so glad that something like this exists!!
The place is tiny with a couple of tables indoor and a couple of tables outdoor.
The service is very quick.
The staff suggested us to try the Cream and Onion Locho and boy oh boy, it was so good!!
Locho is a Gujarati farsan made from Gram flour. In this particular dish, the Locho was topped with liquid cheesy cream, crumpled cream-n-onion Lays chips, some spices, some raw onions rings, sweet green pudina chutney and green chilli achaar.
The overall package was super delicious!
But I wish the quantity was more.
Also, you can buy packets to make Locho at home. I tried it and it was worth every penny.
I shall definitely visit again to try out more items.

Locho is steamed Gujarati Farsan made of gram flour. The dish derives its name from its loose Consistency and irregular shape like dumplings. Here at this place you get to try it in around 15-18 diffrent flavours as per your liking. I tried it in Coconut & Chilly Garlic with Cheese & tastewise it was superb. Apart from Locho they serve Khaman, Dhokla & other Gujrat Farsan Items. Quick service & reasonable rates makes this place a must visit for every Gujrati Food Lover.
Superb locho in mumbai its remind me Surat for this yummy and amezing locho. I dont think that any other place or outlet servers locho in Mumbai.

Amongst the other delicacies on offer, simply love the Green Garlic Locho with the green chillies and chutney they serve. Also try some of its varieties with cheese, its pretty tasty. Give the other fast food a miss and go for the Locha (rolls, pizza, etc.)

This tiny little Surati bistro located just opposite D Mart, Mahavir Nagar is serving Surat's renowned "Locho" with a twist. They serve original as well as fusion Locho. I have tried both of them and I personally liked the original one.
Since the place is too small (There are barely 4 Tables to sit) I recommend for the take away instead of dining.

Went there recently just for the sake of trying the Locho, with minimal expectations. Locho is a native dish to Surat and a favourite with Gujaratis.
We called for White Dhokla and Oil Locho- both were fantastic and above our expectations so much so that we decided to try other dishes as well. We then called for Sev Khamani and Onion and Cream Locho, both were disappointing sadly. Khamani was over sweet and Onion and Cream Locho was simply just a let down in terms of its taste and excessive use of Lays American Cream n Onion Chips. But, I would still won't mind going there again.
The food is delicious. Must visit once in a lifetime. I tried, almost, everything on the menu. The only flip side is that they don't have digital payment option. Cash is so unconformable and undesirable. I request the owner to kindly consider a cashless transaction.

Locho by itself also is quite a delight so that could be tried but the drawback is you have to get 250gms min for plain locho. Other dishes are 100gms so you can try a variety especially with a group :-)
