The food here was so delicious. Simplicity at its best. They provide thali options too which is a best selling meal. Vegetarian should definitely try.
A decent experience as we visited with a family of 20 people to celebrate a kids birthday and we all loved it, though we selected the upper level for our celebration and the lift wasn’t working which caused a few members discomfort.. it was difficult for them to climb the stairs.. that glitch made me give them 4 stars but the staff was cordial enough to help us with the challenge and made the staff available at our service to provide as much comfort as possible
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The ambiance was truly awesome, creating a perfect atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable time.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vihara Joyfully Vegetarian and was thoroughly impressed by their menu offerings. The Gini Dosa was an absolute delight - crispy, flavorful, and a perfect blend of spices. The Paneer Lapetedar was a creamy, rich dish that melted in the mouth, leaving an exquisite taste. The Chole Baturi was a delicious combination - the fluffy baturi complemented the flavorful chole beautifully.
The Veg Platter was a wholesome treat, offering a variety of delectable vegetarian delights that satisfied every taste bud.
Apart from the delightful menu, the ambiance at Vihara was truly inviting. The serene setting and calming atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing dining experience. The decor exuded warmth and tranquility, making it an ideal place to enjoy a meal and unwind.

I got to know about this restaurant from google maps and because the reviews were great i decided to visit it. I ordered Misal Pav for me and my Mom and also butter idli and Chai for my Mom. The taste of all the above dishes was great, especially the butter idli was really delicious. The service was quick, the staff was really polite and the ambience was great. Although the price of the food was a bit on the higher side , the overall experience was really good. So , i would surely recommend this place if anyone wants to have something light or a breakfast.
I really liked the authenticity of South Indian food they have. And the ambience and service that they have maintained is very impressive. As you enter the place you'll feel the discipline and calmness and very very clean. You'll enjoy the food. A must visit place. And even if you want to organise a proper lunch or dinner for 20-30 people they have ample space.
Whether you're in the mood for a quick snack or a wholesome meal, this place has you covered. The menu offers a wide range of South Indian, Chinese, and North Indian dishes that are simply scrumptious. Every item I tried left me thoroughly impressed. The service is great, and the restaurant's ambience is inviting and clean. The staff is courteous especially Rakesh. I would recommend you try the specials which are displayed across the restaurant.
Additionally, for those who prefer dining at home, the restaurant ensures that the quality and taste of their offerings remain consistent through delivery online platforms.

One of the best sound Indian restaurants discovered in Mumbai! Must visit for the South Indian delicacies apart from North Indian and Chinese food served as well. The taste of dishes makes one feel to have more and the presentation of the food is amazing. Not to miss visiting this place.
In this area, there’s not many places open early for coffee ☕️ or breakfast, vihara is the exception. Friendly service and plenty of options to choose from. The spring dosa was fresh and tasty
The food and service is impeccable. Have been visiting the restaurant for years and can vouch for the amazing food. The pav bhaji served here is the best and a must try.
Our first meal in 2023 in India (and my first in mumbai) and we are thankful to this wonderful restaurant.
Our order comprised of rava dosa, plain oothappam, chole bhatura, and sev puri.
The best chole (chana masala) I have had in my life, very flavorful and thick gravy with soft chana along with very nicely done bhatura.
Same goes for thin and cripsy rava dosa.
Oothappam was also very good.
Quick, friendly and effective service.
Place and service is also hygienic.
So many specials in menu.
We thoroughly enjoyed the place.
Excellent unlimited breakfast served in a brass thali and filter kaapi in a brass tumbler. Truly value for money, the taste of all dishes was excellent. Prompt service, clean relaxed ambience. Valet parking available.

Located in a not so crowded part of Andheri East, this place offers a lot of tasty vegetarian food.
We had a bit of everything we seemed to want from the menu and all of felt good to have.
Joyfully vegetarian indeed!
It's not as expensive as it appears to be, if you sit in the outside seating at least. Best in the evenings. It might get crowded by night.
If you want to experience a soulful Vegetarian meal, Tunga Vihar is the right place. South Indian food is delicious, even North Indian dishes do not disappoint.
