Amazing breads, cupcakes and cakes.
I does not visited this place yet.But my mamu brings delicious chocolate brownie modak 😋🤤 from this place for me which were really delicious and blissful.I hope I visit this place soon😁✌️
One of a kind dessert place. Good place to go if u are looking for something different and gourmet sweets for gifting....your gift would definitely stand out amongst the rest. They have a lot of savory options too but their fusion cakes and chochlates deserve a bow.

Love the concept and the style
Of presenting fusion desserts .
Chef ranveer aces the game with bakery as well as confectionary items .
Absolutely love few products that they serve namely the focaccia bread , the double chocolate chip loaf cake , the choco strawberry mousse and the opera pastry .
Would love to see more outlets coming up near by .
English Vinglish by Chef Ranveer Brar is a modern take on classic Indian desserts. It's a small counter at Shree Gangour Sweets in Juhu. They have a wide variety of desserts to choose from. The coffee macaroons and delicious and Orange Blossom is the perfect thing to satisfy one's dessert cravings!
Had happen to try this new dessert joint in In orbit mall on ground floor. From outside the place looked quite fresh hence thought of tasting some. They have unique collection modern pastries with indian touch.
I just tried one yesterday i.e. blueberry baked cheese cake. It was very decadent. I liked the consistency of it and it was a treat to have. Would try out other options too next time and definitely recommend sweet tooth fans out there.

We’d ordered their pineapple halva cake, it’s one of their things to die for. Really delicious and this place brings a modern twist to all the classical Indian sweets. Do try out some of their pastries today.
Late review but had to do it nonetheless .. was looking for something innovative to gift during ganpati apart from regular modaks/mithais .. n landed up at English vinglish . To be honest I was apprehensive on first look since it was a tiny n quiet shop compared to its noisy bustling neighbours but the display attracted me to the shop rite away .. the stuff is a fusion of Indian mithais and I found the hamper which suited my requirement in terms of pricing n sizing to the tee ( the hamper consisting of 1) a box of assorted chocolate-blueberry , orange n pan flavour n cake crumble modak - red velvet / butterscotch etc 2) lavender coated chocolates 3) cashew cookies 4) pizza lavas h) .. the staff was extremely patient n helpful n I landed up tasting their entire shop to meet my exact demands .. the stuff is not like ur regular Indian sweets but some very innovative concepts esp their stuffed dates with nuts.. haven't tried deir pastries yet but will def do it some time soon . My gifting woes r sorted for a while now and u guys will again find me during Diwali figuring out my hampers
English vinglish, I went only because of Celebrity chef,
All the cookies etc,new concept like masala chai, gulab jamun, but too buttery.
Prices are on higher side,so if I have to do cheating in my diet, better to eat the original, spend money, and get the satisfaction,
The staff was helpful, but overall average....
Stumbled upon this place, and so glad I did. Each dessert here is a fusion dessert with a East meets West twist. I tried the Sweet potato + Gulabi Jamun Cheese Cake. Look forward to try some more of their awesome desserts, especially macaroons. Also, the breads & other offerings too, look enticing. Take your pick to experience the awesomeness.
The macaroons are all amazing. Loved the rose and hazelnut flavour.
The Blueberry cheesecake was fabulous !
Loved every bite of it!
Come in here for a quick bite and also lot of options of delicious variety of breads
Went today for a snack break with family and was not very happy with the service they are serving street food (typical Chaat and such items ) at hotel prices with poor service but good taste
This was my second visit to ghanghor and English vinglish both had good food but both time the service was not up to the mark also most of the things are not available and which is let down
The price is little high than the next door competitor Tiwari Bros who are ages old and serve all the chat items
Though this place has variety but lacks fee thinghs
No toilet washroom or even a washbasin
Poorest air-conditioning as they have kept cooling machines inside the restaurant which heats up the temperature and feels like a non AC restaurant
Very few waiters and is almost like a self service Resturant
Coming to food
All items tasted were going good and up to the mark
Dosa pizza was good
Karari Ali Rikki is worth a try
Dahi Puri is also good
Tea is super
Masks milk
All the pastries were good
Will visit again but would like to see some improvement in service and set up
Visited sweets shop in the same area and saw this one and thought of taking a round once. The best part is, it is purely Vegeterian and here go a list of things 😜
Tiramisu, Hazelnut and Orange tea cake, Chatpata Aam,
Chai Coffee Opera, Jangli Chocalate, Oreo Choclate Cupcake
Also took at home following Whole Wheat and Bajra Loaf, Multigrain Bread and also breadsticks and all loved it.
Have visited thrice and every time it is temptious. Lots of varities in desserts, breads, muffins, and more to go.
Thank you Chef Ranveer Brar for sharing and bringing to market such deliciousness. 😍😍😍
We had baked cheese, orange chocolate pastry and chocolate hazelnut cinnamon swirl. Baked cheese was okayish..Didn't like it much but the swirl was fab!!Loved it!
They also have many options in tea cakes worth trying.
So good if you have a sweet tooth. The hazelnut tea cake and the orange pastry were real deal. And the baklava was not disappointing but not very good. The staff is welcoming too. The prices are also good and a nice location in gulmohar road. Thumbs up!
Situated right in between the giants of Indian sweet meat shops, is this perfectly cute lil place, uniquely called english vinglish and for the right reasons. Cos this place serves pastries too but with an Indian touch. Loved the whole feel of the place.....lovely looking, colourful goodies on display.....and even on the shelves either sides. Theere is a Variety of breads n muffins and pastries, tiramisu and mousse....etc etc....the list is endless. They have a beautiful twist in the flavours of pastries which is an inviting factor. Tried a sandesh flavoured cheesecake which was fantastic. Would love to go back and try more.
It's a must try fusion desserts place in juhu. A small neat shop in the line of gangour and other sweet shops. It's a place by chef Ranveer Brar which excels in the designer desserts. The taste, the finish, the quality out here is outstanding. I've tried their cake modaks, red velvet pastry, pineapple halwa with hazelnut creme tart, Khoprapak milk chocolate mille feuille, tea cakes, chocolate pastry, lavasa and amrakhand cheesecake. Apart from amrakhand cheesecake I loved it all!! It is the tastiest ones I've tried. Pricing is a tad bit on the higher side but I love the place!! Try it out!!
Hey guys!
This is definitely the best "Old Fashioned,Dark Chocolate Cake" (With extra bitterness for me) that I've ever tried at EngVing!
There is no doubt that rates of the cakes are on a higher side but they are kinda worth it.
The quality, look, taste all were just right as expected. They need a minimum days times to get your cake in shape.
Just to let everyone know that the cakes here are very very different. It's a combination of Indian desserts with cakes. They blend it so well that you would surely want to take that chance of surprising your friends and family. 😬
I loved it, am sure you will to. 😍

As a regular visitor @ Gangaur, I couldn't help but visit English Vinglish. The shop is quite elegant and the display of their delicacies ensures that you cannot walk out of the shop without spending a little. I love their innovation and the skill to put together flavors. I had the pineapple and passion fruit cake while there. Was really yum and the passion fruit flavor was simply delightful. Too much white chocolate around it though. Mithai is certainly overpriced and the pricing needs to be looked at considering the sturdy competition all around them. Overall, if you in a mood of having some gourmet mithais and desserts, you won't be disappointed ☺️
Really good concept.... lovely taste... though products have a very short shelf life.... orange hazelnut cake.. the one that made me believe in love in first bite... absolutely amazing.... exotic mismatches... perfect blend if international taste with Indian taste... raspberry chocolate was one of live to have again... perfect macaroons not too sweet and amazing in taste... fresh breads..and variety of breads was confusing as each one was mouthwatering.... but as exotic the combinations are the dishes are equally pricey won't say value for money ... but I'd say must visit once...
I went to gangour for sweets...saw english vinglish and went inside....the different kinds of breads puffs chocolates cookies dates passtries and lots more.....everything was top quality in taste...becuz i litrally tasted lots of sample....also the most unique and imp part is nothing is fried....everything is baked...
Def one time go....
Only 1 thing is want you to improve is the variety.
One of the best places for desserts😍 amazing variety and very unusual combinations. 😋
Sadly no place to sit and enjoy these desserts.
We had the amrakhand cheese cake and old fashioned chocolate pastry both were delicious.😍😍😍😍
Definitely a must try✌️
This is another venture of gongour sweets and with chef ranveer brar's name associated with this venture, the expectations rise above the sky...visited this outlet to truly find an ocean of exquisite and mesmerizing combinations of Indian and European delicacies that would rob you of your visuality and make you bow in awe and admiration. Although a little overly prized but the justification is adequate to negate the concern.... They use real chocolate and premium ingredients to compile their delicacies.....do try their cheese cake with gulab jamun and baklava...simply amazing...moreover they have innovated eggless macaroons that requires a moment of accolades....amazing chocolate preparations...coming to the savouries, they have pav bhaji bread that proves to be their signatures as it requires a refill throughout the day....a place you cannot miss if you are a hard core sweet freak...
Great place for some innovative desserts ... Indian tastes well blended with the authentic dessert flavours ! Must Try their chocolate truffle 👍🏻👌🏻
Price worth the Quality !
A GOOD DESSERT PLACE FINALLY, I LOVE BAKLAVA AND WAS NOT EXPECTING SAME TEST AS OF DUBAI
BUT WAS WRONG TOOK ORANGE AND PISTACHIO BAKLAVA AND IT WAS WOWWWWWW AND NICE
THEN I TRIED THEIR CHOCOLATES RASBERRY AND COFFEE WHICH IS SOFT CENTERED CHOCOLATE
I LOVED THEM NOW THIS PLACE HAS BECOME ONE OF MY REGULAR PLACE TO VISIT JUST MISSED OUT A CUP OF COFFEE HEAR
MUST GO AND TRY SOMETHING NEW
One of a kind place.. gulab jamun cookie, khoprapak pastry is mind blowing.. they even have baked vada pav.. with d same taste... i had tried making whole wheat n bajra sandwich at home, bread bought from their store is very nice... should try..
Truly Indian desi sweets with an foreign twist -- needs a great lot of creativity in the kitchen and chef's mind!! Wish it was priced at a little more decent rate... This is way too expensive. However the quality is really good. We tried quite a few items and all were good. Unfortunately we were so lost in trying the new items, i forgot to click any pics!
Went again and clicked some pics ...
Jus amazing. Gorgeous and lovely looking desserts.
Perfect place to buy cakes and desserts for your loved ones! The muffins are so perfect. Must try!
Well I love Gangour Sweets and this is their new offering right next door... The variety is good and so is the presentation... Pricing is on the higher side and comparatively the quantity is less...
I tried to Chocolate Pastry which was nice and tasty... we took away the banana cake and few breads which were all nice too!
One can try for luxury dessert eating but it will hurt your pockets for sure!
A perfect blend of Indian and exotic deserts.
Personally not a big fan of Indian sweets but this place made me love Amrakhand with it's amrakhand cheese cake and khopra paakh malai barfi. The chocolate cupcake and focaccia bread is one to relish and the dark chocolate sea salt cookies are amazing.
Very good experience. The pastry I had was nice & fresh. The service is also worth appreciation.
