It was Ganesh visarjan dinner at 11.00 PM in the night. The food and service was good enough to come back again. They serve alcohol as well. U can avoid coming in cars as parking can get tricky

Review – SR Restaurant & Lounge
The credit of finding this location goes to Mr. Rajamouli.. Thanks to Bahubali! :D After watching the majestic movie at Roxy, we were faced with a challenging question as to where to satisfy the ‘majestic hunger’! (After watching the almost 3 hour long movie.. we were really hungry!) So, our quest for locating another place in the near vicinity brought us to this restaurant known as ‘SR Restaurant & Lounge’. Being a Friday evening, I had called the restaurant earlier asking them to book the table and I was responded stating that there wouldn’t be any problem with the tables and the same would be arranged easily. However, when we reached the restaurant (at almost about 10:30 p.m.), the restaurant was almost full and for most of the time, the 5 of us had to be cramped up and seated on a table for 4! Guess the manager had underestimated the popularity of his own restaurant or may be the crowd sentiments to celebrate on a ‘Friday night’!
Even though our table attendant assured us that another table will be arranged shortly, we proceeded with ordering since we were really very hungry:
Drinks -
Classic Fruit Punch – interesting mix and a really refreshing drink!
Starters-
Paneer Butter Garlic – This was something really interesting. The flavor of butter and garlic really complimented the paneer well. A must try I’d say!
Nachos (plain regular nachos) – Another dish well prepared! The cheese sauce in this dish preparation was really well prepared. Also, there was a separate red sauce which was served with this really tasted good with the Nachos!
Hot Sicilian Paneer – Though this dish was suggested to us as a hot favourite at the restaurant, I found it to be a regular paneer dish prepared in the standard red pasta style gravy & herbs. The capsicum was also not well cooked, hence better avoided..
Main course-
Burnt Chilly Garlic Paneer (worth a try!)
Paneer Musselum – (Paneer preparation in red gravy)
Veg Chilly Milly (This dish was recommended to us, but the attendant forgot to mention that it would be very spicy! Made most of the guests finishing their glasses of water bottoms-up!)
Rotis-
Garlic Naan (though we had ordered cheese garlic naan, we were served only with garlic naan. We were billed for the garlic naan with cheese, but on pointing it out to the manager, the same was rectified. However, cheese or not, this is worth trying!)
Onion Kulcha (The onions in the kulcha really stood out.. definitely worth a try!)
Butter Roomali Roti (This received a negative feedback from almost everyone at our table stating the roti was still raw. However, I felt that they had used too much of butter which resulted in the slight rubbery texture to the roti’s!)

Previously know as the Shri Ram restaurant. Went there on a Saturday evening with friends and had a very good experience. Its a small place but very well managed. The manager i guess met us at gate somehow and asked us very pleasing to get in. As well the the service provided by the staff was good. They have a long menu which has various types of cuisines they have a bar too. The food was also delicious we ordered paneer chilly, something like roasted paneer, noodles and The Panipuri Shots. Everything was tasty Panipuri shots were awesome one must try them. One thing which i did not like was the dim light in there had to use the flash to take pics.

Had been here many times. One of best Pav bhaji n tava pulav in mumbai - which is there signature dish. Serves lot of continental n Chinese dishes - but pure veg. Good place to hv small party of 50 person as they have convertible banquet . Also their fusion panir butter pepper garlic is worth trying
I have visited this place since past 25 years. I know it by the name of Shree Ram. We have organized college parties, college birthdays and even reunion get-to-gather. The staff along with the management has always been smiling and welcoming.. I missed the old South India, Fast Food and Pav Bhaji, but the new cuisine is also worth tasting...
Great quality food with pleasant atmosphere. Good surrounding and attractive decor. Suggested to few of my friends who were very pleased with the service. Hoping to experience this pleasure once again.

We a group of office colleagues had been here for a chill time and true to our expectations this place gave us one of the best evenings..we had ordered cheese nachos, paprika potato, a paneer dish and mini potato wadas as starters .. Garlic kulchas were the most amazing ones I ever had.. I could eat then without any accompaniment.. For desserts we had sizzling brownie which stole the show.. Last but definitely not the least the staff was extremely cordial and the service was quick.. They insisted us to twist our legs to their music and it was really worth it.. We danced to our hearts content.. A total value for money place where you can enjoy with friends and family..
We had gone for diwali dinner and got to say had a nice time . From service to food everything was perfect no complains nothing extra ordinary on the platter but the taste of all items from tomato soup to dry Manchurian were perfect in taste... so go with your family and hav a good time with good service and good food.
SR is a small cute place on the SVP road offering north indian food. We went on a sunday night at 8pm..surprsingly there wasnt any waiting as such

Food : Coming over to food, one of the things worth mentioning is their paneer mussalam, it was real delicious. Their rotis were also soft.

Edited review of brownie: alas good things dont last forever. The near perfect brownie which had been the star of my 1st meal here was highly disappointing during the 2nd time here. The size of the brownie was reduced to mere slice of bread!

SR stands for shree ram ( for those who care to know). It's a little place with valet service (which I didn't expect judging from the outside)...A cool lounge for those who wish to chill cum a family restaurant for those who care to dine only...they serve really good food from all the cuisine available in their menu ( indian, fast-food...)... it has an ever friendly staff especially I want to give credit to the lady who manages it (really efficient n warm)... nice place if you are in town n want to chill n dine
It back with SR, have been to this places multiple time but taste remains the same that is superb.

It was My frnds bdae so we opted to go there for lunch. we were 6 people so we requested to provide their inner room only to us and they did that. there were superb lightings too in thae room. they allowed us to decorate the room as well with rose petals infact they helped us to write d bdae guy name with rose petals. Its was a superb amaing surprise for the bdae guy. Jain food was Just Awesome ! Veg.Crispy & Hot Sizzling paneer is a must try ! Music Made our Celebration to the best. I regularly visit SR,all items are very tasty.Pastas,soup,grilled chicken wit soya sauce these guys make the day special every time me and my friend ..i have never found place with service and food elsewhere.

This is located at Prathna Samaj and you can easily miss it. It is a decently made lounge which serves some great Pastas and starters. A few colleagues chose to drop in since they serve alcohol. The food and service is not extra ordinary however it is really cheap and that is why I would visit again if in the vicinity.

The food available here is simply awesome... I went with my family to this place... we didn't order any starters and directly ordered the main course... we ordered the veg kadai and butter rotis for my parents and i must say that the subzi was very delicious having a spicy flavour... but the rotis could have been softer... we also ordered the all veg pizza and the penne pink paprika pasta... both of which had a good taste... the ambience is also good but the service needs to improve...

This place is pretty close to HN reliance hospital where I worked for almost 2 years.
So after a stresfull weekend I along with my colleagues religiously went there for a drink . Their unlimited chaknas always made me repeat my trip here. They usually have 4 varieties of chakna- peanuts, pakoda, masala chana and papad. All the drinks are satisfactory and reasonably priced so they don't burn a hole in your pocket.
Coming to the appetizers following should be definitely tried
1. Chilly Milly kabab
2. Paneer sheikh kabab
3. Paneer hariyali
Main course we had their kaju curry which was delicious, paneer birayani.

Went to this place after several years and a lot has changed in terms of the menu. We were seated upstairs this time as the section below was booked for a private party. Ordered Pani Puri Shots which were nice, the filling was of ragda which I am not very fond of but nevertheless it was good. Broccoli Soup unexpectedly turned out to be nice. Hara Bhara Kebab for starters had eight pieces and tasted fab with the chutney provided. Service is quick and courteous. They serve alcohol too so good place for vegetarians who drink as well.
Amazing place 2 hangout wid friends or family.,. Since m a mother of 2, I preferr a place suitable 4 my kids, and a place where i can chill wid my hubby...

An excellent place to have vegetarian food. Do try their Jalepeno poppers, pav bhaji & sandwiches. The place also serves alcohol. You must pay a visit if you like to have good delicious vegetarian food. One of the best veg restaurants in Mumbai.
