Garnish peninsula is little expensive but superb for some Occasions. Great place to visit with families. The thing I like about it is there are two seating areas for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I ordered in from here. I have to say the food was really great, we'll cooked and well thought out. Even the ingredients were interesting. The mushroom tikka was stuffed with mustard, it was a very delicious change from the regular preparation. The butter chicken was true Bombay style butter chicken, which was what I wanted. I find sometimes the north Indian style is sweeter, but this was a great combination of flavors. We also got the chicken kebab with the egg or omlette wrapped around it, it was very well prepared and presented but it was a little less tasty than the other two dishes. Overall I highly recommend this place. All the food came with yogurt with cabbage and also with pickles and onions. Good value for money and very delicious food.

A decent family restaurant with good food. The service was a bit delayed maybe cause we were amongst the last ones before it could close. Not a point of great concern but I thought to mention it, the washroom is really congested and the door once opened blocks the path of the kitchen and the dining area.

Garnish and peninsula are two sides of the same coin. Garnish is non veg and peninsula veg. Peninsula serves good udipi fare whether its idli or vada. Their sheera is lipsmacking. And garnish has wonderful chinese. Its a nice place to dine out with family or friends.

Located right opposite the holy Spirit hospital gate, this place has been the go-to for many around this area for years. The food here always has a consistent quality. The quantity offered is also quite good. They have good seating arrangement for going with family.
A nice food place, with quite a good assortment of gastronomic items on display. Service and ambience too is on the better side, improvements any day are welcome
Garnish peninsula is a really nice place for north Indian and Chinese. I tried the fried rice , chicken roghan josh, prawns biryani , chicken mughlai and tandoori and rumali roti from here.
Everything was really nice except the prawns biryani . The prawns were very very small and the biryani was more like a malasa rice filled with masala that tasted noting like biryani masala.(-0.5* cause of this)
One of the few places around that serve a good rumali roti . Both the chicken mughlai and roghan josh were really good. More in favour for the chicken mughlai though.
The chicken fried rice here is really nice too. Had eaten this some time back and it was really tasty.

My favourite is mysore masala dosa ,onion uttappa and paper masala dosa.....

Being around my house this has been one of our without a second thought place to go hav a quick meal. They hav a good family seating area and their pure veg n non veg sections are seperate. I love their pav bhaji n idlis. when it comes to non veg food...the chicken lollipop, chicken tikka masala with butter rotis are something you should try here. The home delivery service is also quite quick.

You know exactly what to expect from these two restaurants. And it actually fulfills your expectations. Yes Garnish and Peninsula are known for Veg and Non.Veg restaurants respectively attached to each other owned by the same owner.
Garnish: The Veg restaurant is typically Udipi style. The ambience is not that great but seating's are quite comfortable outside as well as inside. Its clean and tidy. The Fast food kitchen is located outside just behind the seating area. Sometime it can be choking or irritating due to the smoke or spices coming out while preparing few dishes. But yet it can forgiven once you enjoy your meal.
Its mainly known for its South Indian fast food dishes like Masala Dosa, idli, Vada Sambhar, etc. A good outlet for Morning breakfast and evening tea-time snacks. The Pav-Bhaji is exceptionally good and its worth trying especially the Cheeze Pav Bhaji. All the Dosa items are very good and on par. You can also give a try for Puri-bhaji which is great in taste and worth the money. Main Course dishes are not that great. Of-course mostly the main course dishes are not recommended in most of the Udipi restaurants. But still its not that bad as well. Service is good and quick.
Peninsula: The Non-veg restaurant has a pleasant ambience. Its fully air-conditioned. Comfortable seating arrangement and looks spacious. The Fishes are quite good here especially the fried one as starters. For main course, most of the chicken dishes are very good but they taste almost the same. But little expensive. Doesn't deserve to be priced at that level. Milkshakes and Drinks are something great to try especially the Vanilla Milkshake and Sweet Lime Soda.
Service is quick but seriously one thing is little irritating - the etiquette of the waiters. Most of them are quite rude.
Altogether, its a decent place to enjoy fast food dishes and the best part is its value for money.
Garnish is veg section and peninsula is non veg section.. Pav bhaji is great in veg section and chicken tandoori is mast in penisula... Service is good.. Out side sitting arrangement is difficult... So they should improve it.. Overall good experience....
