The food here is basically pocket friendly... All this food including 4 cold drinks cost me around 450 rs..
Portion on each dish is only sufficient for 2 people and not beyond that.. 😶😕

NavShakti Family Restaurant is an hidden gem which is located in Chembur at the junction of Sindhi camp. This restaurant serves typical dhabha type food. Navshakti is one of the best place to have punjabi vegetarian dishes. There are many restaurants in the same line of this hotel..if you don't keep your eyes open you will surely miss out this place. They have a healthy seating place.
The food served here is fresh and tasty. I have liked almost every dish from their menu.

These dishes are normal but they taste awesome at this restaurant. The prices of the food available in the menu are very cheap. The food served is of enough quantity that too with good taste.
The little dhaba kind of outlet in the heart of chembur camp area is usually a miss because of its appearance from out side. This is the best place to have dhaba style curries and paneer. Being a pure veg restaurant makes it less of a crowd puller but for a vegen like me it's always a plus point.
Here you get best in class style Thali in 3 different varients, as well the offer a very vast menu of food.
I m a regular to this place since childhood and it has never disappointed me. The food is too good that you end up licking ur fingers and the plate Damm clean. If I had to suggest some good options it will be almost everything.

Located at the junction of Sindhi Camp. Adequate seating place; but because of the location of the restaurant; it gets quite noisy due to the constant honking and traffic just outside the restaurant.
The food though is good and typical Punjabi . Not expensive at all and is quite clean and not as oily as its other counterparts.

If you're on a small budget and looking for some amazing Rajma Chawal or Dal Khichdi, head over to Navshakti. This is a really old place and lacks upkeep, however the food is great. The masalas are used in moderation and blend really well. Navshakti serves authentic punjabi food.
Had visited this place couple of years back. Visited again recently and it has been same. Low pricing, good food. According to me it's the most authentic Punjabi food I have eaten so far in Mumbai. Ambience can be improved though.

Just reviewing this place for the nostalgia. I used to come here during college days for the home-made like food and it was never disappointing.
If you want to have hygienic dhaba style food this is the place to be. They serve only veg food. The guy who owns the place is passionate about food and that is delivered in the taste. Things to try - Rajma (which they claim that it comes from Jammu), bhindi masala are my favourite. You can drink a whole bottle of chaas which is too delicious.
Note: Do not waste the food as the owner gets angry. If you ask for puri he will do mention that eating more oily food is not good for health.
If you have a sudden urge to eat at a truckers Dhaba, head straight to this place. The prices are reasonable and their paneer is out of this world! Try the sarso ka saag and makke ki roti!

The food quality is great and nice tasting too.

Quite a regular visitor of this place. Food is awesome. It is tasty and hygienic. Expect a bit of delay in service as it full during the operations. Parking may be an issue in sometime. Ghee Chapati takes lesser time than ghee roti. You can take food parcels. I also tasted the sweet lassi, which I admit is among the best. Overall an excellent experience in terms of food.

It is a very good place to have your food. If you want some typical food, this will be the best. The taste is like home made food. I just love to have food from here. And the Price is very less, vey cheap and reasonable.
It is Best Restaurants for Vegetarians. I ordered Thali in this 2 roti, 1 Subji, Rice and Dal is include and prize is only 60 rupee.

Place is in chembur near fertilizer colony mono rail station...and near by place is also an Ram Mandir and Kali Mandir ... service is good and food is always best and taste is also as per requirement...there is also an parcel and other services as like thali, special thali system and order basis service provided by this hotel..
One of the finest place in chembur for pure vegetarian food. Whether you are sindhi, punjabi aur marathi you are going to love this place. Please don't miss the masala chass (buttermilk) one of the best in Mumbai. Slow service is biggest issue which you can face at this place.
