It was absolutely a different experience, Realy taste of South indian food 🤩
The Authentic taste sambhar chutney was cloud 9 totaly..
They have wide varities of dosa & uttapam & idlis which is what they are special for.🍲
I want for a uttapam & veg thali which was too good. I ordered 2 times both the time the service was quick & tasty too🍽️
In uttapam they give 1 Rasam , 1 sambhar & 1 coconut chutney..the flavor and aroma was perfect♨️
Even the thali was having typical south taste..
They provide the perfect quantity & the quality was excellent 😋 which cost Rs 120/- only .
They have simple sitting layout
Ambience is very simple & not to fancy. But I enjoyed the food alot

Ordered Thali which was yummy and worth the money. Even the service was good. You get choice of Tandoori Roti and Poori Which is freshly made to order and served. Thumps up to this restaurant. Will visit again.
One of the Best place to have South Indian Food in Mulund west and their Mysore Masala Dosa is the must try item, all the other items like Dosas, Idli & Uttapam are also good in Taste & Quality.
Amazing south indian food. And they just don't serve just south indian food, they have every cusine you want.
Their pav bhaji is super yummy. We had ordered tomato chilli uttapa and rassam vada. Rasam is just super delicious.
And last , you got to have filter coffe..!! Realy strong and really delicious.

Located in mulund it is a wonderful famous to have amazing food. I was very hungry so I ordered the vegthali.
The thali was just amazing with a wide variety of dishes. The dishes were so tasty that I felt like being there's everyday it was that good.
All the dishes were perfectly cooked and amazing in taste as well. I like the paneer sabji the most among the other sabji.

I just loved this place for the food items they have. Idli can be so yummy never thought before being in this place. I recommend to visit this place for having the best and different kind of south indian food and they also carry other kind of food items except south indian dishes like north indian food and other main course meals. Ambience are great but the service is okay and they dont allow to hangout for too long.
Been here many times now.This is another good addition to the authentic South Indian restaurants in Mulund and this comes at a time when we are seeing other older south Indian restaurants in Mumbai closing and giving way to modern, fast food restaurants.
Overall we had a good experience here and please try their Chettinad style dosa, appam with coconut stew and other signature dishes.
They have also nice fusion dishes like Idli Lollipop!Nice place to recommend for South Indian foodies.

Saw this as it's newly opened and thought of giving it a try once. It is bang opposite Railway Station mulund west so you can't miss it. On your left you can see Mc D. Parking will be a nightmare if you are getting your vehicle. It's a small joint in terms of seating capacity but if you look at the menu and listing of items it will seem endless. This might be one of the chains of Balaji idli house. It is AC and you can see pics on the wall of what you might order if you are not familiar with South Indian dishes. I ordered a rasam which was a lot salty then I expected, had a Paneer cheese kebab, appam with chettinad style subzi and we were quite full for 2 of us. And yes all items you can get in jain. 12 to 4 they have corporate 120 bucks thali too. Definitely a one time visit just to explore and try the long list of items. Food preparation takes time so be patient. Taste wise ok and cannot be compared to Matunga joints. But they will improve slowly I guess. Last thing ask for portion sizes and how many people it would suffice else you will end up with too much food

I've visited this hotel on 16 sep 21. It's a small but very comfortable and having lot seating capacity. Interior is good & attractive. My family visited here and we ordered three dishes. Namely:
1) Steam Idali 60 Rs.
2) Madrasi Fried Idali 160 Rs.
3) Balaji Special Uttapam Platter 225 Rs.
Which of these I loved steam Idali and Uttapam Platter. Idali was so soft ani smells good. It's little bigger size unlike other restaurants Idalies. Taste is too good. It has authentic taste of Kerala. You'll definitely feel like you're sitting in Kerala restaurant and having their spc Idali. Then Uttapam Platter has 9 to 10 small peaces of different Uttapam cuts. You'll get masala Uttapam, Onion Uttapam, Paneer Cheese 🧀 Uttapam etc. Platter has also good taste. Madrasi Fried Idali was not that good. Frankly I don't like it very much. But Sambhar and White coconut chutney was very tasty. You'll get like unlimited Sambhar ani chutney if you ask. Overall very good experience here. Cost wise it's not too costly. I'll suggest you to have at least try for Steam Idali. You'll definitely love it. Thank you😊
Full Marks for their food presentation, Food Was Good and have variety, Tried Kerala Idli here was Very Good to taste.
One of the finest place of you are a south Indian food lover. I always enjoyed the authentic south Indian tea here. It is just near the Mulund railway station near Mc Donald. I visited here 2-3 times and always find the food delicious.
If you are Visiting with family make sure to book a table in advance as there is too much rush during lunch and breakfast time. The waiting is sometimes higher than 30 minutes.
Taste of food is just Wooooowwwwwwww....
Also, its just outside station.
One of the few typical south Indian restaurants in Mumbai.
I would recommend it to everyone.
I've done breakfast in it and I would really like to say that the customer service as well as food of the Balaji Idli House was excellent so I would like to give them 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pudina Idli was quite tasty and fresh. USP :- Mulund finally gets a good, hygienic and comparatively healthy South Indian joint, just bang opposite to the station.

First time I visited this place today ,they had an excellent thalli ,neither oily or with excess oil ,the price is very reasonable .
Well kept clean restaurant
Food is good, has got good varieties but a bit heavy on our pockets. Need to reconsider the price and have parking facilities too.
You can get all south indian tiffin here. Tasty as well.
