This place in mira road gives a compete kokani feel. The ambiance is simple with a big drawing based on kokani theme and a fish net decorated on top and light kokani music is played. It is 15-20 mins away from miraroad station. The staff is friendly and well trained. They explained the dishes well. We had a really great experience . The food was amazing and the beverages were unique. We ordered:- 1. Tisrya sukke 2. Kolambi rawa fry 3.surmai tawa fry 4.kokam saar 5.sol kadhi 6.chicken sukke 7.veg special thali 8.promfret rawa fry thali 9.gulab jamun 10. Pan phirni

The place serves Konkani food. They are quite innovative in their dishes and it’s definitely a sea food lover paradise. On that they also have comfortable ambience and great staff, making it a good dining experience. From what i had I would recommend: Stuffed prawns bhavnagri mirchi- they gave a Gujarati hint to this dish and it was crazyy! Phirni: perfect thickness makes you feel good. They also specialies in thali that great of quality, quantity and variety.

Hey All, Had been to this new place near shanti nagar konkan katta. It looks good and nice decor and sitting arrangements. Coming to food I had ordered bombil fry starter, main course mutton sukha and vadai t was awesome, then chicken biryani superb. Pocket friendly. One more they had organised for a bday party which I liked it was decorated with ballons and big family had come. So I like it.

It's a small fish restaurant in the mira road area which is a seafood & non vegetarian paradise. The moment you enter the restaurant you feel that you have been transported to the kokan region with the music that they were playing and the interiors were decorated also with the same theme which was really nice. The staff need to improve a little bit in knowing the menu but apart from that the service was quick. The dishes I tried here were: -Sol Kadhi: Its a coconut milk and kokum flavoured drink. It was really refreshing and tasty. It was the perfect thing to drink before and during the meal. -Tisrya Sukke: Its a dish which has shellfish which is cooked in butter and has fresh coconut and caramelized onions along with the shellfish. It had a great flavour and all the ingredients worked in perfect harmony with each other. It was over before we knew it. -Kolambi rawa fry: It's a dish which has fried prawns coated with rawa and topped with garlic. It's got a crispy exterior coat of rawa and a soft interior. The flavours of the marination is really good and gives it a little spicy after taste which makes you want more. -Prawns stuffed bombil: It has really crispy fried bombil which is stuffed with prawns in a thick green gravy inside which has a lot of flavour. It's the first time I have eaten something like this and I really liked it. -Mutton sagoti sukke: Its a mutton thick gravy which is topped with fresh coconut. The gravy has different spices and has a after taste of coconut which gives it a lot of flavour. I ate it with a rice bhakri because I really like it but you can pair it with chapati or wade as well. -Kharwas: Its a milk based pudding like dessert which is creamy and mostly popular in maharastrian/konkani cuisine. It was the perfect ending to the great meal that I had.

Liked the concept of arranging a sea food festival. The food overall was decent. Fish were frozen ( Can't expect much for an unlimited offer :)) Taste was good. Prawns, Surmai and Bombil tasted good. Solkadi was Excellent!!! Main course Thali was average. Mutton and chicken curries were too heavy on masala. Overall enjoyed the food but definitely room for improvement.

Konkani Katta is one of the best sea food restaurants in the city. I really loved the ambience and the maharashtrian music they played. I ordered masala bhat, chicken sagoti sukke and masala papad. Let me tell you the food was great both quality and quantity wise. The chicken sagoti sukke had the rich coconut taste and was delicious. Masala papad was really tasty. Masala bhat was also tasty and was not that spicy too it was fine. I ended it with gulab Jamun and the gulab Jamun was very very very sweet and delicious Thank you Konkani Katya looking forward to visit here again and again

This outlet is 10min far from station, so this hotel is basically for sea food lovers as it serves the best Sea food dishes. For refreshment we had sol kadhi which was made fresh. For starters we had different type of fish fry , like Rawas rawa fry, pomfret fry , mutthon sukhai, surmai fry. So all the fish was fresh and tasty. So main course we had different type of thalis . Like crab thali , pomfret thali, Bombil thali , Rawas thali. The thali included sol kadhi, chutney ,rice bhakri , rice , fish fry as per the dish, gravy and some onions. We had a great fun dinning here. So good place for familes.

Heaven on Earth !!!! Finding an authentic Konkani style restaurant in Mumbai is a difficult task 😣 Konkani Katta is a place where you'll get your cravings fulfilled for such cuisine πŸ˜‹ In simple terms Konkani Katta is a whole Konkan patch in a nutshell πŸ‘ Visiting once won't be a problem !! The cuisine here is soo rich and excellent that it'll surely make you visit again ✌️ The ambience is not soo appealing but they put all their efforts in making customer happy by the taste and flavour of the cuisine πŸ€— You just order your dish from their menu and they'll bring it in less than five minutes , isn't this cool ? 😍 Now coming towards the food - Suruvat - πŸ πŸ¦πŸ“ ( A Marathi term which means ' Starting With ' ) 1) Chicken Sukkhe - ❀️ Tender pieces of chicken slowly cooked in coconut paste in authentic style flattened my heart ❀️ The gravy was very strong and aromatic while the chicken was juicy and soft πŸ‘ 2) Kothimbir Wadi - It's the authentic starter in Maharashtrian cuisine ✌️ Coriander leaves are mixed with masalas and little bit dough and fried in oil πŸ˜‹ It was served with Mint Chutney and it was a better option than having ketchup Thalis - ( Full course meal in a single plate is known as 'Thali' ) 1) Crab Masala Thali - Fat Crab cooked in their traditional masala gravy and was served with Indian Bread and Fish Gravy as a side and also a salad made from small dried prawns πŸ‘ Basically in thalis you have to choose the bread and the rice plate ⁉️ 2) Surmai Fry Thali - ❀️ In English terms a big slice of King Mackerel fried with masalas !!! Fish was a bomb πŸ”₯ Soft and full of flesh , just a single bone you have to plug and rest all is flesh and masala πŸ˜‹ Just by reading the description your mouth will surely start watering , just think what will be the situation when you yourself will go and eat the rich delicacy πŸ˜‹ Desserts - Now they don't have alot of varieties in desserts but the available desserts are good 1l Gulab Jamun ❀️ 2l Mangane Mangane is a mixture of Sabudana i.e Tapioca Pearls and Channa Dal i.e Black Gram cooked with Saffron Milk and sugar too make it sweet ⁉️ Unique name but usual taste !!! The staff is also kind and helpful πŸ™ The Food , The Ambience , The Staff , The Service everything's amazing no place to give a negative feedback 😣 Thank You For Hosting Us
