As soon as you enter this cozy place, a soothing waft if coffee invites you in. Serving beans from India's very own coffee belt in the Nilgiri hills. Well trained staff, more than capable of getting the most from an already excellent product. Loved the vietnamese cold coffee as well as activated charcoal an all time favourite!!!

Tiny, cute, super yummy. We had their Affogato (and it was my first affogato ever) and I have never looked back ever since. Can't wait to go back and taste their other coffees. I wish they had a proper sit-out though but that's not going to stop me from going back for more.
Loved this place since I’m a recent coffee fan. The have great varieties and mixtures of coffee. We tried their Activated charcoal mint mocha ☕️ which is my favourite one here by far.

To fully appreciate the great job that cafés like KC Roasters are doing, one must dive deep into how coffee beans are roasted and the impact on the taste of your cuppa thereon. Took out time to visit KC during a short trip to Bombay only because I was gifted a variety of their coffee (Thalanar) by a cousin. KC roasts their coffee beans quite lightly from what I have tried, and this retains the amazing flavours (and smells) of the bean very well. This is in stark contrast to the big-name coffee places where the coffee beans almost get charred in the process of roasting. Highly impressed with KC’s coffee. Visited just once for a short time, but the time spent here wasn’t enough. But it was enough time spent to win my coffee-loving heart. The next time I am in Bombay, it’s going to be a pilgrimage to this little place that is paradise for coffee-lovers!

Tried their coffee for the first time when I visited Foodhall and really liked it. They have different flavours but my fav is Bombay coffee and Affoggatto.
Koinonia is probably the best coffee you will get in this part of the town! They are roasters and the quality of coffee is top notch! I am a flat white lover and this place is one of the few in Mumbai to offer that. My husband is absolutely crazy about this cafe and drags us there about 4 times on a weekend!

Quaint little coffee shop in the bylanes of Khar ... I’d almost never know it existed if my friend hadn’t introduced me to this place ... All i had was the Salted Caramel Affogato & i was blown ... A must must try for anyone who visits ... I was very intrigued to know that their croissants come all the way from Paris ; Yes Paris you read it right ... Quaint cafe and definitely a hidden gem I have stumbled upon in bandra/khar area for coffee lovers like me. The place is very difficult to find if you are unaware about the locale. Try asking for localites for chuim village (a small lane) and thats where this little cafe exists. Once you enter in, again its a pretty small one but i would say its completely worth visiting the place. I tried their "Ghana iced mocha" (Rating 5/5) and usual "Cold Coffee" (Rating 3.5/5).
I would love to explore more coffee out here sometime soon again.

This is a difficult to find cafe (Chium village in Bandra) with limited seating. The cafe houses their roasting machine and their service staff seemed to be well learned about their coffee.
We had a cappuccino and a cold brew. The taste of the coffee was surreal and genuine.
They are promoting a coffee culture which appeals the adept Coffee lovers.
They source their coffee from various coffee plantations of India and they also sell the beans with the origin label.
I hope they open more cafes in India and make such coffee accessible to many.
I would try my best to define my coffee experience with KC Roasters because it couldn’t be merely described in words. Ordered Flat White and to my surprise, it came extremely well.

Absolutely fantastic coffee. I had a flat white with a chocolate croissant and my cousin had a Vietnamese iced coffee. Both were wonderful.
The only downside is that it is very difficult to locate it and the night that I visited, they had not even kept their sign board lit with lights, so it was even more difficult to locate the place.
Undoubtedly a 5 star place. Located on a secluded street near carter road in Chuim Village. The place is really small and you'll find a very strong coffee aroma when you enter. You may spot some celebrities enjoying their cup of coffee sitting next to you and why not this is a kinda place where everyone wants to be. I just had a double cafe latte because I didn't want to experiment but there are lot of options to opt from. I also got myself a Cold Brew from here as I saw many people buying this. This cold brew is a strong coffee made from 100 % Arabica Coffee steeped overnight which can be consumed in 15 days. Overall it's must visit place if you're a coffee lover and you want some quiet time to enjoy it.
This place serves the Best expresso in town with the authentic Italian way of serving it with a glass of sparkling water which is not experienced anywhere across India! Its a very small place which can be easily missed but I would say “Chhota Packet Bada Dhamaka” ! There’s coffee from various farms and roasted in house and the giant coffee roaster in the center of the place. A must visit place for coffees lovers.
The smell of fresh coffee roasting, and the grinding of coffee beans got my senses to go to another space. We are granola museli and had the famous Australian soy Flat White coffee, which took me straight back to my Australian student days.
I can only speak about their coffee roasts, since i always order their ground coffee only (always takeaway, i have never visited the place). As far as their ground coffee goes, it is excellent. For Anyone who likes to brew their own coffee (in the luxury of their home/ workplace), i would highly recommend Koinonia Coffee. Their local coffees from various parts of South India are excellent. I have tried a lot of their roasts, and each one is unique and full of character.
I would like to request KCR to please introduce South Indian Filter Coffee blends in their menu (higher chicory content) as that would be a highly valuable addition to their menu.
For their ground coffees i would rate this establishment a 4.5/5.

Have ordered my coffee powder from here. I've tried two different beans. The Marvahulla and the Poabs. Definitely preferred the first one. But now that I've ordered the Poabs I'm kinda trying to make my way through it. Once you've made your bean selection just tell then what machine you're using it for and they freshly grind it accordingly. (And isn't it great that you can make these selections through zomato when you order online.) The coffee seems to be priced pretty decent and has a wonderful aroma. Love that the packs that they fill it in are air tight and do a great job of preserving that wonderful aroma. I've also dug into their Nutella sea salt cookies..which was really good too but maybe not the best I've ever had.
If you're missing your aussie coffee this is the place to go in Mumbai. I had just my regular latte and is was perfect. The coffee is so smooth and not bitter at all. It feels like home. If only it wasn't so far from where I lived I would be here everyday for sure!!!
There is nothing I didn’t like in this cafe... some people call it a small place others call it it expensive and many more. If you are a coffee lover and understand the taste between different kind of brews, just go there and experience it.
It is a very small cafe with 8-10 seating capacity but that is irrelevant when you are selling a product that’s a bomb.
We had 3-4 coffees and just loved them all, their affogatos are the best. Just feel free to talk to cafe guys and they will guide you on everything. If you don’t understand coffee, ask the guys and they will help you with your order.
They are more of a coffee roasters and sellers combined with a cafe, very few places offer that kind of an experience.
Finding the place is a bit tough but google maps do the job. If going by car, park the car on nearby Main Street and take a walk to locate the cafe, that will make your life easier.

Best coffee in India, hands down. I've been going here pretty much since it opened, back in early 2017, and it's the best coffee experience I've had. Everyone from the founders to their barista really knows and loves their coffee, and you can sense that passion every time you visit. Equally, everyone's so friendly, always available for a chat, making the vibe of the place one in which you feel less like a customer and more like someone who's part of the Koinonia squad! Plus, their commitment to promoting the Indian coffee estates they use to source their beans is admirable. If you're a coffee lover, Koinonia is a must visit!

Great place for coffee! I have only been to Koinonia once but have ordered coffee beans twice and absolutely recommend you grab your caffeine there. I’ve had the privilege of tasty all dark and medium roasted coffee beans and I love them all. This is my go to place for my coffee fix. I have even purchased samples as gifts for friends whom have left India for overseas ventures, nothing beats a decent package of decent coffee to remind you of the great times spent in Bollywood. Had heard such rave reviews about the place and since then have been meaning to visit for cuppa. It's a super tiny place but the coffee they serve is amazing. We had a flat white, a cold brew and am espresso amongst the three of them. I loved my cuppa and my friends loved theirs too. Definitely coming back!

This is a quiet, petite cafe tucked away in Chuim village. Actually it is very small. However as you walk in you are greeted by the courteous staff who are eager to take you through their single plantation gourmet coffees. You can either other their standard Americano, latte, cold coffee or indulge in their single plantation coffees. Try it out pour over style. I have tried most of their single plantation coffees and my favourite is poabs. This is a must visit for coffee connoisseurs.

I heard so much about KCR through the grapevine that I decided to met a friend for a catch up out of sheer curiosity. The cappuccino was well made however KCR is just too small barely accommodating a max of five to seven people at a time . I just hope they expand this place as it’s too cramped. A special mention to Novela for her service. It’s nice to see a hostess with the mostest.

A quaint neighborhood with the odour of brewing mocha in the air. The cafe itself, dedicated to indian coffee and its aroma, is a small cozy cafe with very friendly and courteous staff. We ordered coconut milk capachinno, which was a harmonious blend of coconut milk softness and strong enriching flavour of koinonia coffee. The cafe apart from lightning your taste bud and soul also enlighten your brain with knowledge about types of coffee its history and the procedure to make it. Overall, a must hangout for coffee lovers.

If it’s good coffee you’re looking for, this is most certainly the place to visit. It is one of the few places in Bombay that takes it coffee seriously. I like that the beans are sourced from India and processed in that tiny space that can seat no more than seven people comfortably. Don’t even look at the nibbled because they’re unappetising, but with coffee this good - who cares. (P.S: don’t bother self-driving to here because finding a parking spot is next to impossible)
It’s been a while that my husband and I have been buying coffee beans from Koinonia. They have come up with even more varieties without compromising on the quality. Also, if you’re an amateur like me, they actually help you find or prepare coffee that actually suits your tastebuds. I have always been a tea person but they have changed my mind :)
Ever since we discovered this little place in the by lanes of Khar, we frequent at @kcroasters often! It has the best coffee in the city with reasonable pricing! The best part is that they roast their own coffee beans! We have tried a variety of different coffees on various occasions! A speciality brewing revolution is finally shaping up in India. Great coffee that leave a good after taste. Not acidic and value for money. They know their flat white that’s my favourite (Not many coffee places in India are yet familiar with a perfect flat white) Yes, it’s a small place with limited seating and it’s perfect for a quick catch up or coffee on-the-go.
Had the coconut flavoured cold brew but did not like it that much. I enjoy my homemade version far more. The cold brew by itself is really good though. My friends had cappuccino but they were not so happy with the aftertaste of the beans. The croissants were freshly baked and we enjoyed them. The chocolate croissant was delicious but left me wanting because of its littleness. Okayish experience so far.
