Very nice ambience and good parsi food.
Love the omlette and tea for light brunch.
Also the dhanshak is good for lunch.
Reasonable prices and good food.
If you're a Parsi, you must visit the Teapot Café. If you aren't a Parsi, you must visit Teapot Café. In my opinion, it is the cutest little café in all of Bombay. Try the Akoori on Toast and the Ultimate Café Burger (it's a chicken cutlet with bacon. AND I LOVE BACON). Wash this down with a nimbu paani, and finish with a slice of Apple Crumble Pie or a delicious Rum Chocolate Mousse. Highly recommend.
The Teapot Cafe at Fort is an authentic breakfast place. The place has dainty ambience and the food is served in vintage cutlery.
This Cafe in Fort serves a variety of tea and coffee.
The managing staff is also quite friendly in nature which has a good impact on the customers.
Overall a cute place for chai lovers.
A perfect hangout hub with a beautiful ambience.
Very friendly staff.
Patent dishes like egg bacon burgers, chicken dhansak and chicken bunny chow are my personal favorites.
As far as seating is concerned you can either opt for couch booths or personal tables.
Lastly location accounts for the 0.5 points lesser rating. It was really hard for us to locate the restaurant. I would recommend using maps.
The highlight of this cafe being that it really is pocket friendly given the humongous amount of serving quantity that it has. We had ordered fries which were really crispy and tasty. The garlic bread and the iced were simple and good. The ginger tea was nice, the ginger surely made its presence felt. The ambience of the cafe is really appealing to the eye. Overall a pretty decent cafe
The meal was great and so was the service. They didn't keep us waiting for the delicious food that was served. Also, we got a complimentary cake which was absolutely scrumptious. Do pay it a visit :)
Amazingly beautiful ambience...d ulimate burger is to die for .d pasta with pesto and grilled chicken was amazing...frm messy fries to thw wide selection of tea in their beautiful dainty cups..grt place to hang out hospitable staff...will be one of my fav places to hang out...
I must be passing this street every second day but never noticed this place.
Just happened to see this place and thought of having a quick bite and coffee. My my was really taken by surprise to see this hidden jewel, a cute little cafe with typical Parsee touch of antique teapots. The owner I'm sure must have travelled the world to collect them. Superb homely ambience with. Comfortable lounge sofa sitting a perfect way to relax with a cup of coffee n sandwich
Completely a value for money cafe, serving some great sandwiches n pastas. Thou I'm not a pasta fan my colleague ordered it and it was super yummy. Really didn't expect this kind super food and thus I call it a hidden Jewell. Will certainly visit frequently and recommend alll.
The salads are very good. Ambience is fantastic.
The quality of rice in the Dhansak was abysmal.
They need to start accepting cards, especially now.
A cute little quirky cafe situated around by lanes of Fort. We visited around luch time and ordered quite a lot from the menu. Their Double Decker meat lovers sandwich is a must have for all the chicken lovers. Char grilled chicken was another star item. Being Parsi owned we even tried Akoori on toast (signature Parsi egg dish) even that was pretty good. I loved the way they served tea in teapots, but they should definitely have more variety of teas. I even loved the hazelnut coffe, it was simply mind blowing.
I have walk passed this tea house, many times in past. Shame I didn't tried earlier. Finally went yesterday, and experienced good food & hospitality.
Loved the decor. Reminds me of those lovely tea houses, I have been in Yorkshire. I was glad to see, tea served in teapot. That's classic!!
Food I had..
3 decker sandwich: To be honest I thought of ordering simple ham & cheese toastie. Buy the gentleman who served me, suggested to try this meaty sandwich and said it's delicious. That's it..orders one straightaway.
Trust me it was delicious. However couldn't finish the whole sandwich. Quite generous portion.
Fresh lime juice: Nice & refreshing.
I will surely come back for some tea & cake.
This place is a hidden jewel. It's located in middle of a chaotic place and you cant locate it easily. It looks like a very small place from outside but it has an average space. I went in the evening around 4:30pm and there were 3-4 people so easily got the seat.
So talking about the ambience, it's really cute with all the teapots and cups decorations. They have books to read so even if you are going alone, you will have a good experience.
What I ordered?
I ordered a masala teapot for 2. The teapots and the cups were really royal so it was fun drinking like that. The tea was amazing.
We then ordered a corn cheese and mushroom sandwich and a spaghetti with vegetables. They got both the orders together so by the time we finished the sandwich the spaghetti was cold. That's where they can improve by not serving all the items together. The taste of sandwich and spaghetti was great and I didn't hope that it would be so filling so even the quantity was good.
The service is good but they usually don't have many items from the menu.
Overall, had a great experience here and I'm waiting for my next cup of tea at THE TEAPOT CAFE!
First of all, the cafe is very conveniently located with a beautiful ambience. The food is exquisite. Specially the soups. The cheese toast is awesome too. All in all a perfect cafe in town.
Visited this place for another bloggers meet yesterday, this place is simple, sweet and cosy with yummy snacks, desserts and drinks. I relished Veg Rolls, Sandwiches and Cold Coffee which was worth the cost.
This cafe is closed on Sundays and it is shut down by 6p.m from Monday to Saturday.
Just visited the awesome cafe today .a simply sweet place to hang out for semi formal or informal meets .loved the simple decorations and thr homely touch of the place .Thier cold coffee was really good .veg sandwich was also pretty yummy .
The place is little different than the existing and present day cafe. The staff is nice and prompt. The owner has tried to keep it as it must have been for along period of time. The place is not crowded at any time. Seating and decor is comfortable. The price is not very heavy on your pocket. Quality is satisfactory...
Had Been here on a Saturday evening and was quite occupied!
We expected it to be a cute tiny cafe but it turned out to be more like the dining area of someones home! However, the place was cute and the atmosphere was warm ( giving the homely feeling:p)
There was a sofa sitting, one big table and few small ones. The walls were filled with frames and artifacts giving it a proper Parsi touch!
We tried their Hot chocolate with rum and a tiny piece of colourful marshmallow which was quite good, the best part was that the flavor of rum blended very well with the chocolate flavour not making it bitter and then we had their English Tirffel which tasted more like a custard and had mava cake at its base, this was served to us with a slice of chocolate cakes (they had some offer that day) and this cake was WoW for the first few bits but at the latter stage it become an overdose of chocolate and Rum!
The owner was helping us with the order and she seem to be very kind and polite which made us feel very comfortable!
For us it was a one time go place but totally worth it and recommended!
Oh... We love this place.. Its quiet cosy place... Food is also very nice... Infact I have loved the vegetarian food on their card... My friends who have tried their non vegetarian portion have also enjoyed food here..
Nice and calm place. Amazing food and friendly staff. Had planned a surprise anniversary breakfast with the cafe and they absolutely did it more then I expected. Thank you for the complimentary cupcake, it was yummy.
Our favourite place for all sort of foods.
Friendly staff, filling dishes, and absolutely yummy preparation.
This has been our dedicated lunch place for over a month
This place has become kind of a bacon pilgrimage for me and a couple of my friends. The triple decker meat lover's sandwich is my first dish every time I visit. I also had a bacon+egg+cheese burger today along with salami and egg chicken sandwich. The hostess(a sweet and a charming person) suggested that we try out the hot chocolate with marshmallows with a tinge of rum and that was a cherry on top for my complete meatgasmic experience.
A heaven junk foodies.
P.S. Another interesting thing about this cafe is you can add rum to almost any of your mocktail. XD
This is a charming little place near BSE. The kind of place that is so hidden, it can be easily missed. It is a must visit for Tea lovers. Good options for tea and sandwiches, and so reasonably priced.
I tried their Lemon Tea and it was good. The owner, Delna, recommended me to try Kala Khatta which was such a different experience, in a good way. Definitely, going again to try other things on their menu.
And of course, the lovely tea pots and cups make for pretty pictures. Delna is pretty helpful and takes good care of the guests.
The only strange part is the place shuts down by 6.00 pm, so make sure you reach in time and have enough time to enjoy the tea with some good food.
This cafe is very simple and modest, cute little homely place with sweet hostess like Delna.
I am Absolutely happy with the taste of food, amazingly patient staff, Delna was sweet enough to help me select through their various specials of the house.
I went ahead as per her selection and ordered - A bacon, egg and cheese burger 🍔 (The best I've had till date)
- Nimboo Timboo (Barley Lemonade)... Perfect for my taste
- Caramel Custard (Oh my god... Just perfect... Not too sweet.. Not too overpowering taste of Caramel)
Best part of it... Its extremely extremely affordable... I would strongly recommend anyone who is in the area to try the place.
They have now got a new loyal customer.. Thats me.
Keep up the good work and spread the taste.
(excuse my low quality pics of such amazing quality food)
Teapot cafe is a lovely little cozy place that serves some great tea, cold and hot coffees, sandwiches, burgers and some Parsi dishes as well during lunch and for breakfast. Run by Delna Palia since the last six years, this is one great place to chill out among some lovely teapots and good freshly made food. Closed on Sunday and shuts down by 6 pm.
This cute little cafe is located on the by lanes of Kala Ghoda.
The interiors are beautiful with theme of "Tea Pot". Ambience is nice n cozy.
Went there for evening tea with my friend. Had ordered barbecue chicken sandwich, bread butter toast, omelette n pot of masala tea. Well everything was just awesome.
Very silent n cozy environment, grt place to njoi ur tea n to have long chat..
Must visit place.
Cute little cafe hidden in walls of history. Once inside one is transported to a tea party almost akin to that in Alice in the wonderland. The shades of blue and the comfortable couches give the place a warm, comfortable homely character. The food was yummy. The delivery took little time. Caramel custard is a must have. I went for a late morning breakfast and left satisfied.
Limbo-timboo is a must have.
A nice small place with a good ambience . Options were less on the menu..need to add some more interesting and exciting options.
Hygiene was a little issue. There were insects which was irritating.
Coming on food...we ordered open faced pizza sandwich which was amazing. Pasta arabiatta was okayish. Butterscotch milkshake was good. Caramel custard was not upto the mark.
Do try Hot chocolate marshmallow.
I visited here for a quick lunch, had a burger and waffles. I agree with the food, it was pretty tasty. I enjoyed the burger not very complicated n pretty meaty. The ambience was fine and unlike the other reviews the staff was courteous, I guess they really took the pains to change from the older reviews by people. I like that about cafes if their ready to accept errors n change for the better they often end up growing into very nice cafes.
This cute little cafe is located in the by-lanes of Kala Ghoda. The interiors are done keeping in mind "the tea pot" theme with a variety of ceramic teapots displayed all around the cafe. A table had a books as well for a read. Ambience is nice and cozy.
Food and Beverages: I ordered a barbecue chicken sandwich and a cold coffee which were nice.
Service: The service was quick. However, they are too strict about their timings. A person came in at around 5:45 PM for a coffee and he was declined service and asked to order a take away as they were about to shut at 6. Maybe they should put a board outside saying that they are shut rather than people walking in and they declining service.
Overall a nice cafe for a quick bite.
This is a cute and quiet cafe located in Kala Ghoda! It has an amazing ambience, with great interiors and has an extremely homely feel to it...
We went here for breakfast and called for the masala omelette, toast butter and a tea pot of masala chai.. The omelette was really good, however the toast should have had more butter on it. The tea was decent, though I've had better...
The manager here should be a bit more friendly. We asked him to click a photo for us to which he declined. (Not courteous at all). Was extremely disappointed at this.
Overall, this place deserves full marks for its ambience and the food here is decent too.

The Teapot is a cute little cafe with tasty sandwiches and snacks, milkshakes and drinks. The ambiance, decor, and service reminds me of independent coffee shops in the US fifteen years ago -- the service is friendly and homely, the food is good, and the prices are very reasonable, all with a neighborly feel. It is a "third place", apart from work and home, near to the Fort office crowd, but not pretentious like many of the upstart Kala Ghoda joints a few blocks to its South -- you will leave satisfied, with a smile on your face, and having paid 1/5 of what you would have. Definitely worth a visit.
Hidden in a corner by a humongous tree and right behind the BSE, it is a surprise in every sense. Barely packed with office goers and college kids who turn every food outlet around fort area a horror show for a quiet lunch, the tea pot has mostly continental menu which consists of subs and sandwiches. I had an egg and chicken sandwich which came fresh but a piece of cucumber and tomato each. I would guess a few extra would have made it a nice addition. Surprised to see no servings of potatoes chip which goes well with sandwiches. The ambience is excellent with both retro chairs & tables and a nice little couch to sink into. I would certainly go there again for two things - paprika chicken with mash and Thai rice. Was in a hurry so had to satisfy my palate with just sandwiches. Nice place for quiet coffee and chat.
Small place.
A really cute place to hang out. According to me, a really nice place for brunch.
The service was quick. The food was amazingly tasty.
We ordered a pasta and a chicken burger. The burger was big enough to fill ones stomach and the pasta was filling and amazingly tasty.
Cutest cafè.
Much amaze.
I really loved this place. Good food and really good beverages. Quiet with very soft and ambient music playing. Played UNO after a millennia. I had a great experience the owner and the staff were kind and hospitable.
Had a great experience here! The decor is really cute and kitschy. Lots of cute and quirky things like the huge mirror inside, the comfy sofas with colorful cushions etc. We ordered four drinks. Iced tea, cold coffee, cold coffee with rum and hot chocolate. I really loved the iced tea because people make it too sweet but that was not the case. We also has two aloo veg patty burgers and they were really fulfilling. The hostess was also very warm and sweet. She even had a conversation with us and that was nice. Overall a great experience. Would definitely visit again!
So after allot of searching we saw this not so alluring place but to our surprise it turned out just fine. Tried the chocolate rum moouse- nice and triple xl sandwich which had cheese chicken salami and cutlet again nice. Extremely pocket friendly and quiet compared to the infamous starbucks which is just close up. Only downfall to it is it shuts by 6 pm
My internship was in Fort, and I was desperately searching for good places to have my lunch. That is when this place came for my rescue. The food is awesome and the ambiance is nice. A good place to be!
The Teapot Cafe is the cutest cafe I have ever been to. It's a Small, homely kind of a place, you would instantly fall in love with...with noticeably interesting crockery. We ordered Lemon tea, Choco shake with marshmallows, Butterscotch milkshake, Open faced pizza sandwich... All of which were just amazing! The waffles we ordered turned out to be pretty soft.. Could be preferably done without. All of this costed us just Rs.490.
Note: They do not take any orders post 5.30pm, so plan your visit accordingly :)
I fell in love with the interior the moment I walked in. It's very cute and comfy. The food is nothing amazing but the books and blue couch and tiny teapots make up for it! Just don't try the Cold coffee, that's all :)
This place was such a lovely find!! Tucked away into the bylanes of Fort, this cute cafe is a hidden treasure. Run by a sweet & chatty, lady, the place is well done up with tea pots and other cute curios all over. The place has a very charming & homely feel to it. The cafe has uno cards, so you can play, unwind & enjoy your food. The owner said we were more than welcome to get our own games & chill at the cafe. Items like pancakes & waffles take time & orders need to be placed in advance. They're very sinful & leave you longing for more. The mains are average, but then it's a cafe & not a restaurant so it's perfectly fine. The veg khaousey was decent. The bacon & cheese burger was pretty good according to my friends. The nimboo timboo, a lemon barley drink is refreshing. The staff is polite. This is a great chilled out place, to hang out with friends & catch up. Coming back again!
This place reminds me of central perk from friends show...not because of the ambience or menu but because it has a homely feeling to it. You can sit here for hours and the food is also extremely cheap..well decorated and the people serving are friendly too :)
A really good place to hangout with friends. Total value for money. We called for the garlic bread, pasta and brownie. Decent quantity and taste. The main sofa seating was the best part about the setting, as it gave the place a cozy look. Would like to visit this place again.
To start with it's a very well made cafe. Really cute interiors with comfy sofas and cute apolstery. It gives you a home like feeling. The food is quite decent too. We had the chocolate Sunday which was not exactly a brownie but a walnut cake topped with melted mousse. Not very great. However the aloo tikka roll was very tasty filled with chutney and mashed potatoes and veggies served in a warm bread. The chicken mayonnaise roll was decent too. A good place to go to for some peace and quiet.
Cosy, comfortable and affordable !! Situated in the bylanes of Fort, its a bit difficult to notice. But once you do, you become a regular. The only sad thing about The Teapot Cafe is that it closes way too early :(
Top rating just for the triple decker sandwich. The best thing in it is the chicken patty. Its worth going there just for thus sandwich total value for money.
Service is nothing to write about.
The tea pot lady(owner) is charming.
The food is great and the ambience even better. The café's homely feel makes you want to sit there for countless hours. Listen to music, or just chat with friends or spend me time, this is one of the ideal places for that. Try the soups, sandwiches and waffles here. Except the slightly slow service, there's nothing more to nitpick on. :) 4.5/5
I absolutely love this place. You could easily miss this cafe amongst the many eating options for office goers in the area. But once you've been here, I assure you, you will come back again.
The bright interiors & the collection of antiques remind you of a cosy Parsi household. You can relax or play Uno while you wait for your food.
The menu is a combination of parsi and continental cuisine. The soups, subs/sandwiches & breakfast options are value for money and great in taste. Try the 3 Decker Meatlovers Sandwich for that extra dose of meat. Or the Roast Chicken with rice and mashed potatoes. The soups are a quick & healthy option with the office goers and their main course menu is a complete wholesome meal for one.
It is a refreshing change from the regular Udipi & Indian restaurants.
tea pot cafe .. a cute little place owned by a parsi lady :) its a little difficult to locate so look around :P the place is very cozy and comfortable and you can spend hours there eating delicious snacks, food and play UNO.. the tradional parsi cuisine is a must try .. dont forget to have the bacon cheese burger its mouthwatering :D ask for the offer of the day/dish of the day ! they have quite a few good combinations
have fun :D
Superbbb food. Amazing egg dishes. Parsee egg roll is my personal favourite. Try the meatlovers sandwich filled with layers of chicken cutlet, salami, egg and sausage- a must have here. Very good service! Pastas are a little expensive compared to the cost and quantity.
Cutest café i have ever visited..The café is really small but the ambience was really cute and nice..Food is great and the desert is a must have thing. The disappointed thing was waffle. They tasted wierd.Besides this its a great place to chit chat and spend time along with your friends over a cup of coffee and good food..
Unassuming little place with quirky interiors - we made a whistle stop tour and so we could only grab a cold coffee which was quite well-made and refreshing. Prices seemed reasonable too. Will come back to try the breakfast.
Reminds me of the university coffee shops in Albany,NY or Lawrence, KS but who charges for charging your laptop. Don't order for cappuccino, the need to catch up on making it well. Fantastic ambience.
a nice warm and a cozy place to chill in Fort.
great ambiance. Really nice and kind waiters who greet you with a smile.
i tried akuri with toast and it was delicious.
One of the most amazing chicken bacon burger in the city. They serve amazing Pancakes too. Worth a try. Amazing ambience and free wifi also. Work eat and work?
Need a place to just chill and hang out while enjoying some snacks after college? This is the place my dear college wanderers.
It's small, cozy, comfortable and just perfect for a hangout session.
The food is delicious and the ambience of the place is just perfect. The owner makes you feel right at home and the service of the place is commendable.
Yes I agree it does get a little expensive but it's worth going to this place. It literally hooks you to your chair.
Recommendations:
Roast Chicken and Mash Potato, Paprika Chicken and Mash Potato with Toast, Chicken Carbonara Pasta and Cold Coffee.
Small cosy place in a bustling, noisy area. Right opposite to Bombay House. It makes a perfect escape place. Had ordered the rum mousse. And it was sinful! Wasn't real rum the owner told us. But didn't matter as it fixed my mood.
It's a pretty decent place with very limited but decent options of soups and salads and sandwiches..the food here tastes very much like home made food as if your mom or you yourself have attempted at cooking something after reading the recipe..also they take time to serve which is why the feeling of it being cooked in a household kitchen is so strong..portion size is decent and service is also good.
All in all nice little place to go to for a change..
Loved the aura of this place.. feels like second home. Good home made food. Very limited space but worth the wait if u have too. Loved the food and I keep coming back for more. The various teapots of diff size n shapes are worthwhile to be looked at.. making it a different cafe all together
A typical place where food is good. Simple but hygienic and tasty Parsi food. Worth visiting repeatedly
It's a quaint place which takes you away from the hustle bustle outside. The ambiance is cozy and the service, albeit slow, is very personal. Burgers were good and the teapot was great. Mumbai needs more places like this to get back the feeling of Bombay.
A very nice and cosy place. Great for it's quiet and relaxed ambience and great freshly prepared food. Mainly continental with very nice soups and pastas plus yummy desserts.
Go there for a tete a tete or a nice business meeting. You'll enjoy.
However be prepared for SLOW, afterall it's not a fast food joint.
Nice little cozy cafe .. Parsi dishes are a nice try
Cute place, AC and free wifi! Good coffee, and light desserts. Nice ambiance and quiet.
Ideal place to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon..they even have couches :) Comfy feel. Inexpensive and interesting food.
Ordered from here previously and have passed by. Looks really nice. Food was definitely good - interesting sandwiches.
It's a nice little place to hang out with very decent cuisine
Awesome place to hangout. Food is yummy.
A cozy place in fort area.. small dining
Nice place to chill. It is nicely silent for private talks
Cute n cosy place for a weekend coffee date
