Jalebi and Papdi is best combination served here for jalebi lover.Jalebi is cooked in pure ghee and cook live in front of us. Every bite u feel the yummy taste it has. Perfect well cooked jalebi for its many years of experience.

Had A Jalebi and Papadi here and both are Excellent in Taste . Raw papaya which was given for Papadi accompaniment was also very nice, fully satisfied.

Was craving for jalebi and browsed through places on zomato and got to know about this place. Delivery as promised was in 29 mins, jalebi was hot, fresh,yummy and crispy. Amazed with the experience!
They serve proper North Indian style jalebis- hot, crispy, thick and made in pure ghee. It's really difficult to find good jalebi in Mumbai, and this is one of the few places that serve it. Tried their papdi too, and its okayish. Go to jalebiwala for a plate of happiness, costing only ₹40 per head.

Born with 32 sweet teeth, Jalebi happens to be my favourite sweet and my mouth salivates as I write this, my senses are thralled by the all permeating smell of pure ghee at Jalebi Wala.
Here's the thing to making PERFECT Jalebi...
1) The batter has to be perfectly fermented. Jalebi MUST be sweet and sour
2) Jalebi is best had crisp (just Jalebi or immersed in a glass of milk as some prefer) and for this it MUST be FRESHLY prepared in pure ghee
Jalebi Wala scores on both points above, no ready stock of Jalebi is kept, even a small plate of 100 gm is ALL made then and there. That's why the jalebis taste SO BLOODY GOOD!!

One of the best place to have Jalebi. I have be eating from this place from a long time but didn't reviewed anytime. Yesterday I took parcel from this place. Same taste as usual.
Right in the money middle of Mahavir Nagar, in the most happening place of Mahavir Nagar. This place serves only Jalebi's and papdi, a delicacy that a typical Gujurati family can vouch for anytime of the day. I went on a Sunday morning and had to wait in a queue for my order and everyone ahead of me had placed orders of 1KG and above. I found the Jalebi's to be decent, the fact they make it fresh in front of you. Comparatively expensive.
Pure ghee, yummy, juicy, mouth watering jalebi and only jalebi. This is the place. If you fan of dhokla, fafda, jalebi you should give this place a try. It's worth it.

It is a small place. They always prepare fresh jalebis. You place the order and the preparations begin. The jalebis are perfectly round spirally shaped , crisp and lip smacking. There is a huge rush on Sunday morning and you might have to wait for hours on Dussehra and other special occasions. They also serve famous Gujarati snack- Papdi.
There is one more branch of this shop next to Sukh Sagar Hotel but i would recommend you this visit this place as their preparation is more clean and Hygienic.

I am not sure how old this place must be but there its the best for the Jalebi. They have opened a few branches and even there the taste is exactly teh same.

The taste is just awesome. I have had jalebi in many neighborhood shops in mahavir nagar and they are all good. But what stands out with Mumba devi jalebi is authentic taste and the thigh layer outside and the softness insite which just melts away. It is amongst the better places on mahavir nagar, slightly expensive but still worth it. Always hot and the staff is also well trained and maintains hygiene...
Awesome Jalebis from one of the oldest Jalebi shops originally from Mumbadevi. They have wonderful service and fresh Jalebis available. Papdi available is thin, which makes it taste & feel great.

This place is apparently a branch of Jalebi shop in Mumbadevi. Though have not tried the jalebis at the original shop, must say that the jalebis at this Mahavir Nagar branch are good. For the quality and taste of the jalebis price of Rs. 500 per kg may be considered reasonable. You can have the jalebis there or have them packed. They pack the jalebis in a cardboard box with plastic coating inside. Don't know if they also had papdi gathiya also earlier, but they have started selling the same along with jalebis. It appears that they procure the papdi from outside unlike the jalebis that are made in front of you. Source of papdi is unknown but quality was ok. Sunday mornings it can get crowded.
This is one of the famous Brand from South Mumbai serving in the western suburbs. The Jalebis are prepared after placing the order and delivered freshly hot. The taste is traditionally great and loved by one and all. As mentioned one has to have patience to wait to get the ordered Jalebis freshly made for them. But I'm dam sure that wait is worth for these Jalebis.
They serve only Papdi and Jalebi and they serve it good. The papdi and jalebi both are delicious. They prepare in real time. It’s better to eat there than take it away because the jalebi is at its best when served hot. One should try this place for garma garm ghee ki jalebi.
