Review of Home Delivery from Iti Restaurant at Palava:
On Sunday we visited friends place and have ordered for Thakur barir Mahabhoj Special package for Sunday lunch at Palava. We were very happy to receive it at home on time as per commitment and they kept us updated on status of order through Sms. We were really impressed and will give them 5 ratings out 5 for managing Free home delivery at Palava.
Food quantity was also sufficient for 3 of us. The package was apt for summer feast, murgir jhaal farezi had a mixed tangy taste and ada mach was so tasty when i had it with rice and sprinkle of gondhoraj lebu. Kumro chingrir chochori tasted amazing blended so well with rice that I kept licking my fingers till the last grub. To add more it would be great if kacha aamer chatni qantity would be little more. We ended the mahabhoj with perfect Kolkata misti chaap sandesh. Thanks iti restaurant for making it possible for the exciting and contended lunch with family on a Sunday afternoon. Once again we give iti 5 ratings out 5 for excellent food & services. Good News for Bengali's staying at Palava, You just need to dial 9821698200 & place your order and rest all will taken care by Iti Restaurant.
Awesome restaurant... Plz একবার ঘুরে আসুন. আমরা যারা প্রবাসে বসে বাঙালি খাবার মিস করি তাদের জন্য এইটা Perfect
Nice food quality... Love bangali food..
Delectable Bengali food that comes in decent quantity. One of the best Bengali restaurants in this area. Not a typical fine dining restaurant, so you should avoid if ambience is what you are looking for. The food was fresh and sumptuously prepared. The service was great as well.
Lovely Food... Very tasty homely food and very satisfying specially for Bengalis... Polite and well behaved staffs... Just the only part is they need to enhance their interior a bit.. The food quality and quantity is just great
Review of Unlimited Buffet at Iti @Rs598/-
In one sentence it’s “Awesome - Value for Money” deal. Started with aamporar shorbot, they prepare it best in mumbai, Luchi with chicken kosha should have been little more thick gravy but taste was really good & had 8 pieces of chicken. Wanted have more chicken but enchor chingri was irresistibly delicious, I guess they get the enchor also from Bengal because have never such a soft & mouth watering before in Mumbai. Katla sorshe get perfectly blended with steam rice & could to have 4 pieces of katla of decent size. Best of all was Nolen gurer payesh - just awesome & already started thinking should we go back tomorrow again! We rate Iti 5 out 5 for their quality, quantity & authenticity’s. Keep the good work going.
Many restaurants claim to give you the feel of authentic Bengali food, but they somehow deviate and get off the mainstream; but since I am from Calcutta, and have visited Iti a few times off late, I can vouch that Iti serves the true Bengali taste, and they are very good at most of the traditional Non Vegetarian dishes they serve...even better is that they keep stock of various items, and are not scared of "stocks going in waste"
Best Bengali Restaurant in Navi Mumbai. Ambience staff music food all was excellent.Overall was a very pleasurable experience. Will surely visit again with family and friends.
Visited Iti during Durga Pujo this year. We ordered from their Pujo special spread and I must tell you everything from the Aloo Poshto to the Kosha Mangsho was finger licking good. We ended the grand meal with the Palm Gur ice cream and it was the best closure to the amazing meal. Definitely a must visit for Bengali cuisine fans. Not fancy ambience, friendly staff and is priced well for the stuff you get. Would definitely go back soon.

My long standing wish of eating at this outlet was fullfilled over the Diwali weekend. Along with my mom and sister i relished crispy hot fish fingers and chicken cutlet dipped in the perfectly zingy kashundi. Followed fluffy soft luchis accompanied by not so impressive mutton kosha. But the ilish in shorshe bata made up for the mutton kosha as after a very long time i had the particular preparation cooked the way bengali moms and grandmoms do at home. The aroma the buttery texture of the fish and the taste was perfectly complemented by the simple steamed rice. And last but not the least the hospitality of the staff at Iti made us feel totally at home.
Food is Amazing. 5/5
Service is superb.5/5
Hygiene is good.4/5
I must say, other restaurants shoukd learn something from ITI like how to handle customers and serve guests.
This place is so perfect that whenever I crave for fish, I visit ITI.
I have been here 3-4 times in past 6month and ll keep visiting for amazing fish and their kind service.
Trust me I tried to find loopholes but this place didn’t give me a single chance to comment anything negative about.
FOOD-Please check the images as I don’t remember names of dishes as it’s quite difficult to remember for non bengali.😁 Whatever I ate there, I got fan of bengali cuisine.
Service- Amazing Staff. Even big restaurants should take tips from ITI on how to handle customers.
Suggestions- ITI should open few more branches in different areas of city❤️❤️
Visited on 22nd September 2018.
Staff behaviour - Excellent.
Ambience - Good.
Menu card - Excellent. Whoever designed it had put lot of culture and effort.
Food taste - Bengali style.
Starters - Fish fry and Braised cutlet : good but too heavy to finish, please reduce the quantity and price. People would be motivated to move for main course.
Main course - Mutton Kasha authentic. Badly rich and oily with black gravy. Not their fault. This is what we crave for.
Luchi - too good.
Ilish - excellent
Chital - excellent.
Desert - could have been better.
All in all a good Bengali thick fat oily traditional cultural poetic musical cold fishy chicken-ey mutton-ey joint.
Enjoyed.

i ordered 3time my friend and family's really Happy
Went there for Sunday lunch. It is quite far from Thane but the food is yummy and worth visiting for. We ordered their special thhakur Barir Mahabhoj, Every item was awesome. It had aam paana sharbat, bhetki fish fingers, Radhavallabi, kosha mangsho, steam Rice, Prawn malaikari, shukto, fish preparation, chutney and sandesh. We added hilsa Sorse gravy and aalu bhaja to this. The food was enough for 3 persons. Great Taste and service 👌👌
Each dish was show stopper, prompt service and attentive staff added more points.
In all a very good experience. 👍👍👍
We stopped by for dinner around 11pm on a Friday night, and we were the only customers there but the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful right off the bat, from taking our orders to serving our portions and offering finger bowls once we were done. Well-lit place with pleasant Bengali music playing. Decent ambience.
The luchi (puris) arrived fresh and hot, and was light and beautifully puffed, a joy to eat. The aloo posto was good, and the chicken kosha gravy was adequately thick and just the right amount of spice, delightful. The egg and chicken rolls were also quite tasty.
We parcelled chicken biriyani and chicken chaap, and microwaved and are those the next day, so I will review accordingly. Biriyani was quintessential Bengali and satisfying, the chaap less so, as it was a little too sweet for our liking. Overall though, we were quite pleased with our meals and very happy with the service.
Good job.
Authentic Bengali food available here at reasonable prices. I prefer home deliveries as they deliver to all nearby nodes at navi Mumbai. The sitting place is good enough ...the USP is the availability of Bengali food.
They serve authentic Bengali cuisine. Price bit on the higher side, but taste more than complements for that.
The pabda macher jhaal is as good as best Kolkata restaurants.
I am a fan of their fish preparations. Chicken biryani is also finger licking... Though a tad expensive but totally worth it 😊
Had a great dinner with their ‘Jamai shosti’ special menu. The quality was quite good. Food was tasty. The staffs were courteous and very polite. How lovely to find a place in Mumbai where you get pure bengali food.
Prawn to pulao, mutton to misti, ilish to luchi everything was on their menu.
Food- 4/5
Ambience- 3/5
Service- 5/5
Love love love the food! I keep going back to this place for their bhetki paturi and chingri macher malai curry! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, the staff is very sweet and friendly, service is also good!
Sorshe ilish loved it, we ordered through swiggy. Recommended to all Bengali food lovers. Please try.
Non Veg thali -3/5
Kolkatar Biryani-2/5
Star Attraction Sorshe ilish -5/5
Simply awesome...
Other day went with family to iti restaurant, only place with authentic taste of Bengal. Must have Illish Thala truly wonderful serving, steam rice with illish macher tel, followed by Illish macher matha diye mochar ghonto, sona muger dal, postor bora, Barisaler sorshe Illish (mind blowing taste), khejur aamsotter chatni, mist doi & rosogolla. A complete & wholesome serving by courteous staff out there makes you feel you are in Bengal not in navi mumbai. Keep up the good work iti
Just Wow! Started with Daab Mallai Shorbot truly great taste reminded us about Paramount shorbots of college street kolkata, followed by snacks bhetki fish fingers with kasundi, enjoyed bhetki stuffing which was well marinated. Main course must have Thakurbarir Pathar Mangsho & Barisaler Sorshe Illish, awesome & highly recommended, because they bring the Illish from Kolkata. They have just started desserts section named, "Sweet that don't add up to your belly" - tried Nolen Gurer Rosogolla - big size & amazing taste! They also serve misti doi, shor chomchom, nolen gurer chap sandesh & nolen gurer ice cream which are left for next visit. Coming soon....
Great food. The ambience was also nice. Pure bengali atmosphere inside the restaurant. The staffs were very much cooperative and good behaviour. They suggest us our food and really it was great.
First of all! The staff is really polite and well mannered. Secondly, the food is just awesome! Each and every item captures the texture, the spices and the taste perfectly! Really appreciate the authenticity of Bengali food! if you are in town, and looking to try something different! this is a go to place for you! Cheers!
This place is only for proper bengali food fan!!
We started with -
1. Chicken cutlets 4.5/5 ****
2. Mochar chop - 3.5/5
3. Luchi is puri
4. Thakur bator patthar mangsho { chicken curry }
The menu card is a bit difficult to understand. You can take help from them .
Ambience - Family restaurant kolkata style. Simple and green. 4.5/5
We ended our meal with their special ice cream made from jaggery !
Totally recommended ***
The starters are better than the main course.
Great place for nostalgic bengali food , prices are moderate , try the nolen guder ice cream here that is a must have , and they also give pan shots complementart which is basically shots of pan which has great after taste.
Lovely meal, fantastic service. The cholar daal, betki sorse and nollen guur ice cream are must try here. The paan ice cream too is superb. Have completely over eaten. Simply superb.
This review is after numerous visits & take aways from the last 5 years.
Authentic bengali food, Efficient and very nice service staff are the key factors for the high rating.
Have tried almost all the delicacies in their menu. Donot miss shyambazarer mutton kosha..its just too good!
Few issues being as i had already pointed in my review when they had an outlet in vashi is the chairs they use, they are very uncomfortable and it would be great if they can rectify it.
On food front, they need to work hard on chciken kosha and biryani. Biryani has too much of kewra essence which puts you off and the kosha is not exactly the way a chicken kosha should be.
Also the price and portion size donot complement each other..
Overall a must visit place for good bengali food.
Been here for several times. Also ordered food from here. If you want authentic bengali dishes, this is the best place in Mumbai. I have tried other restaurants serving bengali cuisine, but this so far the best. The staffs are cordial and helpful. Only two concerns
1. All items are not available all the time
2. The decor is not grand. But considering the size and age of the restaurant these can be easily overlooked. The budget is also pocket friendly. Overall a great place for bengali cuisine.
Very happy with the quality of food and service.good authentic Bengali food in Navi Mumbai for all of us hungry gluttons who are tired of hostel and mess food. The ilish festival was on and totally loved the kanchalonka ilish and ilish thali. Now on the ambience and decor part, there is scope of improvement, more because Bengal has such rich heritage of art.worth revisiting for such sumptuous robibarer bhoj
