I was planning to visit this place before COVID-19 pandemic but unfortunately was unable to go and now by on going situation I finally gave a thought of ordering something from this place to stop my craving 🤤
It is located near National Highway,Ghodbunder Road.
Getting the light on our main focus ' the food ' and menu, they serve very good variations but among all this I ordered Matka Chicken Dum Biryani and Chicken Schezwan Chilly.
Starter Chicken Schezwan Chilly, the chicken was juicy,soft and tender and again the quantity was good. Overall it was a very good dish to start with.
The Matka Biryani, I received it in matka as we can expect it in hotel but it stood out by getting it delivered at home which was good and hot. The best part was the quantity it was more than enough for a two person with a biryanic taste and feel. Aromatic rice, plenty of yummy chicken pieces and the dum masalas werefully justiying the taste of matka biryani.
The packaging was upto the mark.
They also provide COVID protection kit which consist of mask and hand santizer along with the toothpick and mouth freshener which was good complementary content.
The only thing is the price of the food is little higher but I would love to order from this place again❣️
We went to this place for a friend's farewell party. We had an amazing time here. We ordered the chicken tikka handi, butter garlic naans, all our mojitos and drinks, for starters we had crispy chicken, malai tikka
The dhaba feel gives this place and extraordinary touch.
Had full non veg dinner and there chicken handi and bombay duck fish fry both made dinner awsme and they give proper service in ambience of dhaba

A perfect dhaba in the city to have punjabi food at. Mouthwatering perfectly spicy food, punjabi dhaba like ambience, old bollywood songs give an amazing feel to the place. Service is fast, food is too tasty and everytime, my experience has been phenomenal. 5 on 5 to this place. Everybody go visit this
One great place for family dinner! Both veg and non veg dishes of all cuisines are up to the mark and are delicious! My favourite cuisine here is the north Indian cuisine! Chicken and paneer gravies both are delicious here when had with tandoori rotis. For vegetarians, paneer butter masala is a must try.
IT WAS VERY AMAZING I LOVE IT. IF I WILL GET A OPPORTUNITY TO GO SO I WILL GO AND TAKE MY FAVOURITE ITEM IS JALEBI AND DALFRY .
Good quality and tasty mutton bhuna, quantity of mutton was mediocre. For the price they charge they should give more quantity like other restaurants.

It's an amazing place where u can get dhaba feel.
They welcome with their dhols. Perfect for family and friends. Had ordered chole bhature, chana masala, butter roti, kesar jalebi and lassi.
The best part were desserts.
Jalebi were fried to perfection in desi ghee.
Lassi was made in traditional way and served in the same traditional method in a copper glass. Best lassi I had till date. A big thumps up.

This place brings up a perfect vibe of a Dhaba. They have three different types of sitting areas where u can sit, relax and enjoy your time with your friends and family. The decor is in a proper Punjabi style & even there is one guy with a dhol who sings songs as per request. They have cots and pillows which will give you a proper Desi Dhaba feeling. They offer varieties of food, the taste is quite good but not so perfect but yes staff was friendly and service was quick. .
If you wanna have proper Dhaba Feel in the city of dreams then u should visit this place for sure. ❤️

Aweosme place to go with your family and friends, to spend quality time with them. Ambience were mesmerising and the space is utilised perfectly and well decorated. Food was awesome. Overall it was a great experience

such a pure desi dhaba to have food with real dhaba like atmosphere. The cuisines are very delicious and have earthy flavours. The matka biryani is the best and have such a pure essence of biryani in the matka that you can't resist with. Mutton seekh kebab was also very tasty. The mutton was juicy and tendered so nicely which gave it an exotic flavour to it.

Dara's Dhaba is situated in Mira road. The place is known for their Dhaba Theme and their tasty Dhaba style food. Plus it has super cool Ambeince which I loved it!
I went their with my family, since we went on Saturday the place was so crowded!
Talking about their food, I love their food😍 they served some Dhaba style spicy food .
Which includes Indian Veg and non veg, kabab, Drinks, Desserts.
We ordered - the kabab platter as a starters and it was so good coming with a lot of spice in it! For main course we order chicken handi and Butter nan and Roties. And for the dessert we ordered Malai kulfie which is like a hidden dessert the kulfie tastes so good and it tastes like pure milk kulfie. The overall experience was nice would like to go there again.
Also the rates are high on pocket side but worth the money as Decent place to go with your Friends and families to celebrate any occasion.
They even played some live songs which was afcorse Bhanagra. We laughed, danced, eat and enjoy each and every moment there.

From the entrance itself you will get a feel that you have entered a dhaba in Punjab.. they welcome you by playing live dhol and severs pure punjabi food

The hara bhara kebab is fresh and full of fresh flavour...the crunchy coriander and green peas ried and tossed with lemon and herbs are the best

I visit this place more often to their Matka Chicken Biryani (Don't Miss it guys it's mouth watering) and a Crispy Chicken (Must try).

Located very close to the highway, this place offers a lot of authentic dishes in the punjabi domain. The non vegetarian food here is fresh as morning. ALCOHOL is also served.
Dara's Dhaba is situated near kashimira highway.
The place is very big and yet it is always crowded on weekends.
It has a proper dhaba type feeling.
The ambience is quite and good.
The food is very delicious.
Their panners are so soft it just melts as soon as it goes in your mouth.
The lassi is the best part over there.
If you go there and don't have their lassi then its all waste.
So you should definitely try their lassi.
I highly recommend this place.

Nice family restaurant on the western express highway just after Dahisar toll plaza. Veg and non veg dishes are equally nice. Can get crowded during weekends. Nice place to take family on special occasion for lunch or dinner. They also serve alcohol

I have been visiting Dara's Dhaba over the past many years, but with flourishing of numerous restaurants around the area, we started trying out different places. Being a pet parent, it is quite difficult to go out to eat as most of the restaurants do not allow pets even though we guaranteed that our laborador won't be an issue at all. Most of the restaurants offer good food but customer satisfaction is what makes a difference. This is where Dara's Dhaba stood out. The manager and staff were courteous and made sure we had a great time (alongwith our pet dog). They also ensured that other customers were not disturbed or bothered by this, by giving us a corner table. Dara's has earned my loyalty for life!! Thank you for giving us a memorable evening. And yes, the ambience and food was amazing (what Dara's always has!!)
Awesome dhaba near the western express highway on ur way to thane or surat this is situated near mira road and a great place to enjoy the ambience and appreciate the food its really amazing how they keep the feel like the dhaba itself but really an amazing experience at the Dara's Dhaba.

The food here was delicious. The tandoori chicken followed by punjabi lassi was to die for. The staff was helpful and gave prompt service. The ambience was homey and cozy and gave a proper dhaba feel
Planned a dinner with a friend's here. There are various seating options. We selected the upper shack area.
The ambience is good and given Dhaba look with table and khaat instead of chairs. Music is ongoing. There's one Dholi who wanders and plays dhol for u. Open area causes mosquito problem, but they have an arrangement of coils.
The food is not purely authentic Punjabi as I had expected it to be.

Try large glass of lassi here. Feels like punjabi. Winter is best time to visit dara's dhaba. This one is landmark dhaba of Mira road. You may get to see tv celebrities often. Late night food. Live dholak...machan sitting place. Its just different wibe.
Had been to this place on weekend, it's an fantastic place for family as well young crowd.
The staff is quite attentive and courteous and attempts to provide best service.
What I liked about Dara's is the Tree House ambience created which gives amazing feeling while dinning in evening. The property is well maintained and is on Miraraod Highway which makes it accessible for foodies to drive through.
The food is also good, we tried Kitcha Papad, Some Chicken and Pahadi Paneer as Starter and Pot Chicken and Veg Biryani.
Descent place to have mini celebration with family and friends.

One of the best place I have visited. The place is very spacious and great . Talking about ambience it has the best ambience, the lightings were perfect very soothing and the surrounding was awesome . The food we tried was just awesome and tasty . Taste was just perfect and great , perfect spicy. Prawns dum biryani was one of the best biryani I have tried . My personal favorite at this place is the Punjabi Lassi , perfect sweet with great thickness . Overall its just great😁

For a Dhaba, the food was not oily at all which it usually is. We had Indian cuisine and since there was not much crowd the service was pretty quick. They also serve alcohol for the ones who want. They have a nice ambiance with cots and cushions to relax and eat

What if I tell you there exists a 'Mini Punjab' in the outskirts of Mumbai! Its true.. Dara’s Dhaba is one such place where you could have this mouth-watering dish called as Banjara Kabab. This place is well known for North Indian and Punjabi cuisine.
Located at the end of Mira-road Highway, it has a typical dhaba style ambience. Other than the normal restaurant area they also have Machans!
If you want to spend quality time.. this seems to be a perfect place.

Daras dhaba is a very old village styled authentic dhaba. Have been here quite a lot of time. Theres an all together a very different feel when you enter here plus the being in open cottage styled place the weather is pretty pleasant. This is a very friendly come family spot to chill. The staff is super courteous and very attentive to every tiny detail to satisfy their guests. Bonus points for hygiene and cleanliness. Washrooms hold some space for improvement. From Price point of view its decently priced.
They have super huge parking space.
So we ordered :-
1) Masala Papad:- Crispy flavorful and perfectly cooked. Most importantly it wasnt oily even after being fried.
2) Cheese tikka: This is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED starter who's a cheese lover. They have complete cheese cubes between slices of tomatoes and capsicum. You have to cut the cheese and eat isn't that amazing coz cheese is something which can't be made in a tikka form but the maintain that size and shape. Its lil stiff feom the outside and totally melts in your mouth. What a brilliant starter.
3) Baby corn tikka :- Brilliant marination and super flavorful. We wanted it to be lil spicey as per our preference.
4) Paneer tikka masala :- We ordered one portion amongst four of us and we were soo full of it. Great quantity and amazing quality. Too goo with flavours and softness of paneer chunks.
5) Cheese naan :- Extremely soft and super cheesy. Have always been a fan of cheese naans and they were super perfect with it.
6) Butter Roti :- another great quality bread on there menu. It was thin enough to chew comfortably..buttery and cooked perfectly.
7) Garlic Naan :- Super garlicky and cooked amazingly. It was super flavorful to have it all alone.
P.S. :- Have heard that they have extremely awesome non-veg food on there menu. So to all the non vegetarians give it a try.

Daras dhabha a very old authentic dhabha . I have been here multiple times , nothing's changed here cos there is no change required. A dhabha should look and feel like one and this place does not disappoint. The food served here is indian, punjabi and chinese . Am always here for the punjabi food and it is very yummy. A classic dhabha. Mind u this place is quite huge and well spread out.
Dara's Dhaba is very close to my heart. For the last 15 years, we are celebrating our family event in their ambiance.
Their Food, Seatings, Services, Dholakiya, etc. are #phenomenal.

I am away from my home for a year now, but once I am back then I am surely going to visit them again with my whole family.
Note: By family I mean, we are people of a combination of 8 families with 32 people.
It's a dhaba.. Feels good when you enter here. Nice family place. Must try butter chicken here. Travelling here is quite uncomfortable but you should try once here.

So we were staying at a hotel in Versova on the highway and didnt have access to good food. Ordered randomly from dara's dhaba and it was a delight. The biryani and the chole were exquisite. Loved the food !
I was here to celebrate one of my friends bday celebration. It's was Saturday evening and the dhaba was almost full by people for weekend celebration. The food they serve have great quality and quantity. We have opted private seating arena which have decent seating style of Punjab with zero bulbs on four corner of the room as well as one Punjabi bhangada singer was also there to entertain crowd. Overall experience was great and will surely recommend this place to my friends and family.
Daras Dhaba, a place where i have very fond memories ... have been going to this place since a decade and it marvels me everytime , the cuisine is authentic Punjabi and dishes like Tandoori Chicken , Chicken reshmi are a delight to eat, the vegetarian dishes like Naram Dil Kebabs, Bhindi Kurmuri are yum too .. the staff is very courteous and fast in service .. the Machan is the place you can go with family as it private and can accomodate large number of people , love the ambience and the decor Its a must go for Roadside Dhaba experience .
Easy to spot from the highway and convenient
I have been there for 3 time with my family, kesar jalebi it's really testy, and chicken so tender, on 31st dec staff dress up in punjabi and play dhol and, my kid liked balloon decorations, we enjoyed a lot.
Place to go for a peace and long hours to sit..... Me and my family don't want cum back from their.... If u want to spend some good quality time tho pllllll go their........ Food is toooo yum.... Their soup starters also their all paneer veg subji...definitely their garma Garam jalebi with Rabdi is literally mouth watering... 😋😋😋😋😋their proper Punjabi lassie..... Highly highly recommend.... Also they have some children play area.... So children can also enjoy.... 😀😀😀😀
Dara's Dhaba is at a prime location on the main road, just after you come down from the Mira Road Flyover while driving from Mumbai. It is a large place with ample parking & can easily accommodate large groups as well. There are 3 distinct seating areas, all with different Dhaba Type ambiance and comfortable as well. They have clean, modern & Air-conditioned Washrooms too, which is very good indeed. They have a full fledged Bar & an Extensive Menu, but would recommend that you stick only to their Chicken or Vegetarian items, as their Mutton & Fish is not very consistent in its freshness. The food is quite good, the service is fairly prompt and their rates are reasonable as well. A nice place to stop at for a meal while driving down on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway.

For pure & perfect Punjabi meal, Dara's dhaaba leaves a promising & fulfilling impression. I had been here long back in the now defunct Shimpoli outlet. I had always wanted to visit this place since this one always takes a big attention, situated adjacent to the Western Express highway.
A proper dhaba style sitting with indoor a/c section available too. They also have their own poultry section to choose from - Bater, chicken & some fishes too.
We started with some chilled Punjabi lassi. Very well prepared, though we didn't like the over-sweetness in it. A bit 'khatta' & this one would have been perfect. Nevermind, the quantity was super good for 2 by 3 proportion.

Sumptuous & fresh would be less to describe this savory tandoor item. Highly Recommended!
Chicken Makhani Punjabi style (half)
Why would you visit a dhaba without ordering the signature Makhani sizzled chicken? Prepared in a tangy & heavily spice laden Punjabi gravy, this one is a sure try for those who prefer a bit of flavour and not just sweetness in the butter chicken.
