Sanjo! This resto is located at the seawoods prime location, its just opposite Seawoods Grand Central Mall (next to naturals).
Its a small restaurant, so dont expect a luxurious Ambience , still it has a decent ambience which has normal sitting plus a separate family ac room upstairs.
Sanjo! Is popularly known in the vicinity for its south indian food. By jus viewing the menu you'll find out the variety of south indian food (kerala food) it has to offer!!!
If you are a non south indian, u'll not understand 70% of the food listed on the menu..one might get confuse what to order but not to worry, the restaurant staff will politely explain the dishes and guide you through!!
Now coming to the food....
We tried 'idiyaapam with Malabar chicken' π
For people who dont knw what Idiyappam is: its a South indian dish. You can say south indian STEAMED RICE NOODLES with a layer of coconut in between.
The idiyaapam and malabar chicken combination was too good!!!
The chicken malabar gravy was aromatically too good had all the south flavours in it!!!π₯π₯π₯ (Note: chicken a non spicy dish, if you crave for something spicy, look for one in the menu or simply ask the staff dey will help you out)
They have many more awesome south indian snacks and mains like parampurri, kozhukattai, neyappam, parotta etc.
Der serve sadhaya on sundays, you can try that too.
If you are craving for authentic South Indian food, den this place is just right for you!!!! Do visit and enjoy the southery Delicacy! π§‘
Kindly note: to serve fresh and good, many items on the menu are specially available at a fixed time of the day. So, prior visiting, kindly confirm the staff if the particular menu item you looking to try der is available or not)

Authentic Kerala comfort food. This is what the tag line of this place should be. It's a gastronomic fairy tale for a newbie exploring food from Kerala. Not an extravagant place and don't expect it to be healthy option if you're looking for traditional stuff. Since it's made with love. Would return again for sure!
Specially for idli. No other South Indian menu available. Very reasonable rates Rs. 10 per idli. Taste is good and service is fast.
There are standing tables. You can stand n eat. No sitting. Recommended if you want to try idlis. They have button masala idlis which comes in 14 small idlis in a plate. And Thatte idli as well.
Button idlis are nice too. They are spread with gun powder and ghee on top.
We are going around 40 kilometers sometimes only for having food from hotel sanjo. We get the real taste of South Indian main course non veg, like kappa and meen mulakitath, poth ularthiyath etc. And it is very near to the railway station. Even it is a small hotel, they provide online purchases through phone pay and card payment options too.. Only one problem is we don't get fresh juice there.
Nice kerala restaurant in Seawoods.
Service here is bit poor. Food tastes awesome.
Fish curries are good here.
Every Sunday u ll get unlimited kerala styled full meals on banana leaf..
It is a good hotel . The food is also good. It would be more good if it was served hot . The Paal chicken curry with porata was amazing. Just give a try
Had ordered 2 chicken gravy (Chettinad & Malabar) along with 15 Parota which was quite good as far as the taste & quality is concerned but the sweet dish Kheer was the one which spoiled the mood altogether (Saviyan Kheer) it was just diluted milk with lot of sugar along with seviyan. Wont recommend this kheer to anyone.
Visit here for authentic Kerala food. You will love it. This place is opp to Seawoods Mall. Parking on street lane adjacent to hotel. Park away and walk to the hotel.
You can get authentic Kerala food here. Try once, you will like it. Its just opposite to seawoods mall. Parking on road side, mostly occupied.
The smell of authentic kerala cuisine peps u as u enter the small but comfortable place ..nothing wow in the atmosphere but for foodies this is a must go mallu restaurant....good porotta , mathi curry and karimeen fry...already full....everytime i am 2km near this place...i feel like visiting ....another visit soon
Food is good but expensive as compared to the quantity served. Have variety of Kerala dishes.. Sadhya is served in banana leaf on Sunday's . Service is good. Quality has reduced compared to previous years.
I visited today looking at the words and reviews. I am so impressed. The eatery is homely and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and attends every table personally. I tried their matthi curry, appam and porota, pazham pori and chai. This is by far the best mallu food I have tried in a long long time. May share one more review this Sunday if the owner calls me for Ela Ada as promised. Thanks a ton for great food and homely treatment.
