This is a shop that's been in Powai hiranandani since the early 90s.. the snack corner has been a favourite with hiranandani residents because of excellence in quality & price, purity of products used and such a delicious taste that's so traditional and authentic... If you love Indian and Bombay snacks , but love hygiene, authentic taste and pocket friendly prices, this is your ideal go to place !
the staff is really warm and the service is always quick apart from the food being always fresh and hygienic !!
I always buy my Indian Sweets from here. They have some delicious Kaala Jamun and Malai Sandwich.
The sweets are always fresh. A little pricey, but excellent taste and quality.
My rating of 4 is only for the taste of the sweets. For service I will give a rating of 1

One of the most reasonable and best shops for Indian sweets. All items are fresh, reasonably priced and are available in all quantities. It's nariyal barfi and 'boondi' ( sweet ) are very nice.
Best Paneer ... Bestest paneer. I asked for mawa (for making Indian sweet) and paneer. It was delivered within 15 minutes and the products were fresh, delicious and top most quality

This is a dairy and sweets shop which also has chaat counter outside. Their pani puris are simply awesome.
The place is clean and hygenic. Even the sweets that they have are good in terms of variety, appearance, taste and price.
Having moved from New Delhi, I found that both packaged paneer and other stuff sold at the grocer to be chewy and of generally low quality.
After some checking around I came across Doodh Sarita. Their paneer and khoya are highly recommended. I bought chocolate chip cookies from here and they were unexpectedly nice.
Dudh sarita is a boon for anytime you are done with all the sassy, multi cuisine restaurants in Powai Area and are craving for some real desi stuff!
This place shells out the best set of savouries and snacks. Their samosas and Kachori are to die for. Haven't really tried any of the sweet stuff here, but would definitely recommend for all else.
I regularly buy paneer from this place. Super creamy and fresh paneer. Sweets are also fresh and yummy. Malai barfi is the best. Go for it on festivals.
For every farewell or bday party at the office, we ordered samosas from here. Always freshly made and tasty. Have tasted pani puri here as well and it is equally good.
The rasgullas which they serve are just awesome and the best that I had in Mumbai. All other chenna mithais are also too gud....same holds for ras malai and jalebiz...I love the moti choor ladoo as well. Over all the sweets are really nice, tasty and fresh and whenever I get a chance to goto powai I do make it a point to have something or the other from here.
I am a Janta Bakery fan for their Samosas....and so, whenever I go to Janta, i buy Dhokla, Cookies and similar stuff too. Convenience sake.
But a few of my Powai friends are Doondh sarita loyalists and so, yesterday, wanted to try out this place for our 4pm snacks carvings. No didn't buy Samosa. But got Dhoklas, Jalebi and some Kaju Katli.
Found it to be just like Janta. Usual stuff here too -- dhoklas, jalebis, samosas, bondas, bread pakora, frankies etc; a whole lot of dry and Bengali sweets, and namkeens in the shop.
Good place. But, i shall stay loyal to Janta!
Not the most hygienic place around but one of the oldest farsaan joints in Powai. The mithais are not exactly the best here because the mawa has been notorious to cause trouble. Nevertheless, mawa troubles India cannot be avoided as the people making it are often into adulteration for lower costs. However, the real winners here are the rasmalai, wada pao and samosas. They are some of the best in Powai and beat K3 hands down. Trupti still has an edge over snack quality, but doodh sarita's rasmalai is just great. Perfectly sweet and balanced with soft, tender and juicy paneer balls and nuts. The Tibbs Frankie outlet outside doodh sarita is an added benefit to make it a quick and cheap snack hub for Powaiites. However, it is not the best place to stand and eat for ladies I have been ogled at almost all the time because of the crowd that patronizes doodh sarita. Best to get a take away.
This is the oldest snacks joint in Juna market and I can swear by thier samosas and thier Jalebis. While the jalebis at Trupti are made in pure ghee and are bliss, somewhere I still like these as I have got used to these and they stay crispy longer.
The mithais and snacks from this place are generally very fresh. Among the chaats the sukha bhel is quite good. But do not try some of the less popular sweets. They are usually dry. Recently, they have even started their own sandwiches and namkeens. Those are quite good too. Overall, a reasonable, decent place to order from.
Any time snacks corner.... v often order in our JLT office. Chat is very nice specially the ragda patice....
I give a 3.5
