This place has some good Chinese and North Indian fare. We had loved the Chinese last time we ordered and this time we ordered for some paneer tikkas. The charcoal flavour from the Tandoor is simply wow! I think in this lockdown phase most of the places have shut down the Tandoor due to less manpower but this place is continuously serving some mouth watering food. Paneer tikkas were marinated and grilled to perfection. A must try here .
Was in No mood to cook or eat homemade food thought of browsing options on Zomato and came across Sumeruu. Had heard from my friend about the good delicacies they serve but hadn’t tried. So gave it a shot and ordered for their recommended dishes. I called for bira di murgh tangdi, Jalepenos cheddar chicken, bharwan aloo, and in main course I called for bhatti ka murgh,Mumbai Tariwala and Pad Thai and taftan bread And not even exaggerating the food was out of the world. So scrumptious and yummy that I coudnt stop appreciating after every bite. Highly recommended to everyone in and around to try. Kudos
Really pleased to find a treasure in the delivery places on Zomato this time. We saw the menu and were bowled over with such lovely options. The place serves veg and non veg and Multi cuisines. I saw tempting pictures of the food online and was keen to try a lot of it. But since we were just 2 of us we called for just a Biryani. I wouldn’t call it exactly a Biryani. This was a Subz tehri... more like a pulao with loads of garam masala and aromatic flavours. This came with a vegetable curry and mix veg raita, papad & pickle. The portion is huge and it’s hard to finish this even by 2 people. Hats off to them for serving not just Delectable food but at reasonable prices and in generous portions. It’s a winner for me in all spheres. I’m surely ordering again from here this weekend itself.
Called for food from sumeruu almost 4 times in this last one month and not once has this place let us down. It's got the best tandoori food. The flavors are perfect and the seasoning is extremely delicious. We loved the paneer tikka and tandoori aloo along with their awesome mint and garlic chutneys. I especially order some of the food for their chutneys as they are beyond par. Fantastic taste. Also the veg kolhapuri has a nice smokey flavour and we loved it. I must say its the best place for some of the best food in borivali and dahisar. My favorite for sure as it's rare that I get impressed so easily.
No cooking days means it's summeru time..the food we ordered came in a brown bag with details of our delivery guy mentioned..the food was packed in containers with sling wrap and then covered in silver foil. Kept our food warm and safe.
So we need to order Thai Food i am allowed to order from Summeruu authentic taste and absolute value for money.
Dishes we ordered :
1.Red Thai Curry and Rice
2. Tom Yum Soup
3. Veg Manchow soup
Oh yes and I just love the accompaniments 😋
I was waiting to try something from Sumeruu given the great reviews I’ve heard from few friends. Finally got a chance to order from them for the first time yesterday.
We ordered the following-
1. Chicken Chettinad - It was absolutely delicious. The flavour reminded me of the Chicken Chettinad I had when I traveled to South India.
Rating - 4.5/5
2. Mutton Kadhai- Another delicious Mutton dish
Rating- 4.5/5
We enjoyed these gravy dishes with some naan and Garlic Kulchas.
The staff was extremely courteous. The food was packed well. The overall experience from ordering the food to the takeaway was beyond excellent.
Will definitely order from them next time. I’d highly recommend it.
Overall rating -5/5
P.S- Pounced on the food as soon as we got it. Unfortunately, forgot to click pictures 🙈
My long time favourite ... delighted to have them by our side here in IC... what's even better that it’s a go to place for all mind setups , it’s a reall mood lifter ... only if food is something that lifts your mood though, does the job for me..
What I ordered
Crispy chicken chilly—- hell these guys have got it aptly right... nice juicy from inside and crisp on the outside chicken pieces tossed perfectly in that dark sauce... can’t go wrong!!
GAO ding ki—— just the opposite of the later this one is nice soft and juicy pieces tossed with a mildly flavoured orange sauce made with garlic this goes down reall well with your poison...
Butter chicken ——- perfect not too sweet just a hint of it and the buttery texture with tandoor cooked chicken this dish is to fall in love with...
Taftaan —— this soft bread goes real well with the butter chicken topped with black sesame seeds..
Chicken srilankan curry—- spicy srilankan curry is a yellow Thai curry kinda but with a tinge of spice in it and served with jasmine rice , prawn cracker, and pickle is a tounge tingling experience...
Raan biryani—— now this one here is a only on request dish ... it better of says the owner are ready to accommodate our request... Lamb Leg succulently cooked on tandoor and then made into a biryani which can easily serve 5 a must must try served with raita...
They also serve some really amazing desserts created right out of their kitchen and some ice creams flavours that are out of this world.
The first meal I ordered post lockdown was from Sumeruu, my craving for chicken was satiated when I ordered Chicken Biryani & Gillafi Chicken Seekh and every bite of it was worth every single penny & also the Paneer Makhni and Veg Biryani I ordered was amazing.... The food was packed properly considering all safety and hygiene measures.
Thank you Sumeruu for keeping up to my expectations ❤️
Just stopped by to appreciate how delicious and well packed food was from Sumeruu.
Finger licking and lip smacking Chicken Pot Tikka and Crispy Chicken with Dark Chillies were served with their portion size enough to suffice 2-3 hungry heads!
A big thumbs up to the restaurant for all the preventions they have been taking. From their packaging to their temperature checks to their taste, everything was on point.
The place caters with best Chinese and variety of amazing dishes . One of the best place to eat Chinese in suburbs . My favorite is paneer pot noddles I have ever had . They make this specially for us the pot noddles which is not on menu . It has nice tossed noodles and the gravy has nice taste of hunan and exotic vegetables. My personal favorite is burnt garlic rice, veg 65 and bharwan aloo.
The last meal I ate from out before Lockdown was from this joint in IC Colony known as Sumeruu. I had seen it many a times but had not been there to dine in. So around mid March thought of going and eating at this joint. With the perfect ambience to soothing walls to the perfect lighting. Was craving for some good Chinese so gave it a shot and I’m Mind Blown.!!!! From the texture to the flavours to the presentation to the quantity it has aced every taste bud. The Paneer Tossed in Schezwan sauce was lip smacking. I didn’t want it to end as the flavours nd the veggies were blended so well. We also ordered triple schezwan fried rice. They were nice mix of noodles and fried rice with generous amount of gravy and rice which was sufficient for 3 of us. Highly recommend it to everyone to try their hands on the food here. Im in love with the quality the quantity the packaging everything!!! Its gonna be my everytime place from now onwards !!!!!
Ordered food from outside after 6 months and it was worth every wait. The mushroom galouti just melts in your mouth 🤤. And so does the yogurt and cheese kebab. Wanted to have Indian food with my family so hence ordered the Dhaba style paneer alongside with naan.
Great taste and quantity. Loved the quality of the food and the best paneer I've had.
11/10 recommend everyone.

It was my parent’s silver jubilee and Covid 19 definitely ruined all our celebration plans. So we were all already upset. I wanted to atleast get some good food and cake to celebrate at home. So called for delicacies from Sumeruu. I wanted to have an array of food on my table. Ordered for Schezwan Paneer, jalepeno cheddar chicken tikka, Chicken in black bean sauce, Baked mushrooms and Spinach , Mumbai Tariwala, Taftaan and last but not the least Garlic Naan. Our celebrations were definitely made better by Sumeruu. Every dish ordered was worth it. The paneer actually melts in your mouth. The combination of Mumbai tariwala a spicy malwani gravy nd Taftaan is exceptional. The packaging was 5/5. The taste was 5/5. I mean the over all experience made me soo overwhelmed that it actually good a smile to everyone’s face to actually have our hands on perfect food for our perfect day!!!! Also how to forget Sumeruu sent us a brownie complimentary!! A big Thankss to Sumeruu for being an envitable part of our celebration.
Worth every single penny! I have tried multiple restaurants in the northern suburbs but none of them felt enough to come back the next time and try the same dish again, but this restaurant definitely fits the mark if not exceed with flying colours. Will definitely suggest everyone to get their taste buds a fusion spa treatment at this restaurant!
Ordered for a parcel from here today and all I can say is this place has the best food in This part of town. Such perfect flavours and such lovely choice in the menu.
We asked for Tandoori bharwan aloo. They were more than perfect in marination and taste. They sent garlic & mint chutneys with this. We also asked for some Chinese food. A veg schezwan in starters. It was again flawless and cooked well. The sauces tasted well seasoned.
In the mains we tried the fried rice and exotic veg in Hunan gravy. Both were excellent and extremely satisfying.
The parcel was overall very neatly packed and there were hardly any spills and leaks. I must recommend the food here to all and I definitely will be ordering from here soon again
First order placed after lockdown and wowww it was so amazing! First things first, it was very nicely packed and met all the hygiene standards. The food was hot and fresh and yummmmy as always!! The order was customized and it was so well prepared! Lovedddd it!
This was the first time we ordered food post the lockdown. Paneer tikka masala and butter dal tadka.. Both extremely delicious.. Most importantly, there was a sheet of paper that came along with the parcel that mentioned the details of the chef and his body temperature.. Thank you so much..
It's a highly recommended place in respect of Food, Packaging in this covid Pandemic. This is the second restaurant in this covid pandemic I ordered food and I was impressed the way food was packed in proper container.
It was my bday n few guests were at home, even they were surprised to see such a good packaging of food which is more important in these days.
About food after having it from this place I want to taste each single dish. I ordered for Yogurt cheese kabab, honey chilli potato, Malay chopper rice, Nasi gorang. I just can't describe the taste of food in words. Guyzzzz you can order any dish and I assure it's all worth your search, money and time.
I wish I wud knew this place earlier till now I wud have tasted everything's there in menu.
Sumeru keep up the good work 👏👏👏👏
Had ordered food from here for second consecutive time. Well deserved 5 stars for quality of raw materials used, portion size and for taste. Keep
Up the good work 👍🏼
Finger licking good!! Recently ordered food from Sumeruu for a group friend’s so got to taste quite a few dishes on the menu to my surprise every dish indian or chinese was Amazing, from the pot tikka to the chicken lollipops the creamy butter chicken to the chicken chilli every dish was Spot on . We need restaurants like this in I.C Colony. Will definitely visit again. Thanks for the amazing food guys.
It’s located bang opposite the link road and has got this modern industrial/rustic vibe to it in terms of ambience. Sumeruu is a tiny casual dining place that can accommodate 20-25 people at a time and has a well designed, elaborate food menu which really impressed me. They serve Indian and Chinese cuisine and I give a 5/5 for just the presentation of every dish that comes on the table. We ordered Nasi Goreng and Chicken Gao Ding Ki and both were fabulous in terms of taste. The staff is very courteous and service too was quick. Would definitely recommend this place if you looking out for a serene dining experience with your family or bae.
I visited this place on the New year's Eve. As suggested by my good buddies, this tiny place turned out to be great. Loved chicken popcorn there, fresh and crispy. We also ordered Paneer tandoori starter, dal tadka and chapatis. Taste of the food was amazing. However, the price was a bit deary. On the occasion, the owner also gave us a fresh brownie for the Eve celebration.
I really hope they don't close shop. I've eaten here once bad ordered once and both times I'm impressed. No excess salt, perfect amount of garlic. Although I'd wish they didn't put any food colouring. But the flavours are delightful.

This is a must visit place... Pls don't miss...
They have some really tasty and innovative dishes alongwith the regular stuff.
To start with we had the yakhni shorba... Its was too good.. Not spicy... Kids can have.
Pulled out tandoori chicken salad with papadam... Probably the best chicken salad i have had till date.. Was tangy and spicy... Really different..don't miss
Achari mojito is superb
Buttery chicken with taftan again one of the best i must say...
Srilankan yellow curry with rice is awesome. We opted for the normal basmati rice instead of the sticky Jasmine rice as suggested...
Was too full for deserts... Next time for sure...
Overall best place to have a nice quiet dinner with family...
Went there for dinner w my family, a beautiful fine dine experience, from the soup to the main course everything was just delicious. The achari mojito was the besttt! A must try!
Amazing food, Amazing staff and amazing ambience. Loved the interiors there. Must visit place for everyone
SUMERRU
If you are looking for a Fine-Dine place to have dinner, Sumerru has just the perfect vibe. The ambience of this place is very classic and quiet. We had been here for a Family dinner and everybody loved the food
The Food:
To start with, they served us a complimentary starter which was similar to a Hara Bhara kebab. And after having them, we knew we were not going to be disappointed. They were simple yet small heavenly tikkis served with green chutney.
Yakhni Shorba & Lemon Coriander Soup : The Yakhni was extremely flavorful & also the lemon coriander has the perfect amount of balance of both Lemon and coriander.
Pulled Tandoori Murgh Pappadam : For the salad we decided to try this unique salad. It has veggies murgh tandorri sliced dressed with sort of a tandoor dressing and topped with papad. Was good.
Awadhi Sunheri Macchi : The pomfret was very fresh. The batter in which the fish was fried was not to thick. Highly recommended.
Desi Aranchini in Charcoal Chaap : Deep fired spiced rice bowls topped with a Charcoal masala and Papad. The taste was dense and good.
Srilankan yellow curry with rice : This was our favorite main-course. The Srilankan curry was full of flavors and the Jasmin rice served along with it just added that extra goodness to whole dish. It was accompanied with a prawn cracker. Highly recommended
Bhatti Ka Murgh Biryani : Again our tummies were full, but still could make place for this amazing Biryani. The quantity was great and the Curd raita served along with it went really well with the Biryani. Must try.
Matcha Popsicle with Berry Compote : Never did we imagined a popsicle which was Matcha flavored and we were really excited to try this one. And we bet the popsicle was just too good. It had the perfect amount of Matcha which did not overpowered the creaminess of the popsicle. The flavor of the berry compote served along with it was a little too concentrated for us. We enjoyed the popsicle more without the compote. Again must try this unique dessert.
You must try this place if you want to experience a plethora of flavors in the most unique ways. We have already been here twice and still would not mind going back again ☺️
Visited this place with my family... Quite good experience...Special thanx to Mr Kapil ,who recommended the dishes for us..We Had Jalepeno cheddar chicken and smoked pot chicken tikka for starters...very soft and tender chicken with neatly marinated stuff...in Main course we had Buttery chicken with Taftan ( wud recommend every1 to try their Taftans atleast once )..Icing on the cake was their Achari Mojito, one of its kind and what a beautiful find...Amazing...
Team Sumeru keep up the good work..
We loved the Burhani Ghosht and the Galouti Kebab. Everything was superb right from the ambience to the staff and food .. Keep it up guys....
My first visit to Sumeruu, though long awaited, exceeded expectations. This fine dine restaurant nested in a famous locality (I.C. Colony) in Borivali welcomes you with a minimalistic getup. The owners welcome you with utmost politeness and cater to your every need. Sumeru was a great treat to me and my wife on Valentine's day with a specially arranged cake and a bouquet of flowers organised by them to celebrate the occasion. The food with their subtle quantities and exquisite quality coupled with fine plating of food. Rare dishes on the menu curiously tempt you and they surely live up to what they say. Their varied array and experimentation with ice creams were a first for me and definitely one of a kind. So if you're in and around the colony and want a one of a kind fine dine experience, Sumeruu is definitely one that won't disappoint. Carol Ferraz #Sumeruu #finedine #experience #oneofakind
Sumeruu is a newly opened fine dine restaurant in Dahisar (IC colony). The vibe here is simply amazing and lively. Classy ambiance with grey walls and brown furniture added with yellow lights just makes a perfect place for a peaceful dining experience.
The staff is well trained to be courteous. Really loved the vibe inside.
Coming to the food we had,
Achari Mojito: Your traditional lemon mojito with a spoonful of achar (Indian pickle) in it. Super refreshing taste and loved it more and more with every sip. A really fascinating and unique but simple drink.
Smoked Chicken Pot Tikka: Boneless chicken pieces marinated in yellow bland masala and smoked inside a enclosed container and served. The chicken pieces were tender and melted in mouth as soon as you took a bite. The marination felt a bit bland to me as I prefer tikkas which have a spicy marination.
Teen Mushroom Ke Galouti: Soft flat galoutis made up of 3 types of mushroom served over a small roti and with 2 types of chutney. Loved this dish as well.
Red Thai Curry: Thai curry served with jasmine sticky rice. The thai curry had a rich coconut taste to it. Must say that this is the best Thai curry I've had in a long time. The portion size is well over enough for a single person. Must try this dish.
Bhatti ka Murg: Or in other words, chicken tikka masala. The creamiest and flavorful tikka masala I had in my life. We had this curry with tandoor rotis and it felt like heaven.
Cutting Chai & Biscuit ice cream: Ever wondered that you can have a desi cutting chai in the form of an ice cream? No? Well, I had it here. And it tasted exactly the same as a Tapri ki cutting chai. The ice cream had biscuit its inside too. A treat to your taste buds.
Sumeruu is a must try place for all the people who crave for some mouth watering dishes.
Sumeruu an amazing place. The selects in the menu are amazing. Food tastes just as amazing as the presentation done. Highly recommended the variety of home made ice creams after an amazing lunch or dinner.
Chicken multani shorba soup was so authentic and Amazingg
Their yogurt and cheese kebab is to die for❤️❤️❤️
Jalepeno cheddar chicken Tikka is too good.
Chicken 65 was of good quantity
Mumbai tariwala murgh was so authentic and perfect
Taftan bread was so soft and delicious unlike other tandoori rotis
Paani mojito,Salt and spice mocktails, ice tea was just refreshing and amazing
They have a very unique variety of ice cream😍😍
One of the finest dine in place came across in the Borivali I C colony.Good food good ambience everything is perfect.Must try the desert ice creams something different it is.Must visit enjoy 😀
Everything out here is amazing. The food here is particularly to be mentioned. Fusion dishes which actually enhance the flavor of the dishes. Tried the following dishes: Chicken Tariwala: The usually tomato-onion chicken gravy with tons of flavor and really soft chicken and fried pav. Smoked chicken pot Tikka: coal smoked chicken which enhanced the flavor and added the right amount of smokiness. Hara bhara kebabs: Bite sized veg kebabs with 2 amazing chutneys to compliment it Ajneer kulfi falooda: Deconstructed falooda with anjeer sauce. Something I've never tried and I'm not something I'll always order out here The mocktails out here are good and quite unique too. They always give you sweet imli along with the bill which is quite sweet of them
Had a great experience here with pleasure of delicious food courtaeous staff and classy ambience
Sumeru is by far the best Chinese and Indian restaurant i have been too.
Their menu is so simple yet so yummy and tasty. I have never tasted such amazing food.
We had a nice chicken manchow soup. Then we had a indian starter called Smoked chicken pot tikka.
And for main course we had Schezwan triple style.
Food:-5/5
Service:-5/5
Ambiance:-5/5
Very beautiful place with unique interior and authentic food .. surely going to visit again soon !!!
I visited Sumeruu with my closest friends a few hours ago. We loved the Manchow soup, Mumbai Murg Tariwala and Thandai ice cream. They have a well curated menu of Indian and Chinese food. A must visit for all the foodies out there.
A place very new in Dahisar but surely to win heart of food lovers of Dahisar and around Dahisar
SUMERUU
Something about ambience
Very light, subtle with colours
Christmas festive decoration adds colours to decoration
Coming to food
We tried mocktails
Dr Rupas gingerale which is the combination of gingerale, jaljira and mint, awesome, healthy, one must try
Salt and spice , a mocktail prepared with orange juice, chilly and black salt, a great combination to try and treat to tongue coming to starters
Bharwan tandoori aloo
It is tandoori potato shells filled with spiced mix and with mint aioli , very innovative and good starter
Moti malai paneer ke seekh, as the name suggests it is seekh kabab of paneer and very soft, truely worth it
For the main, the combination of sweet and spicy , onion and green chilly kulcha with chui mui ke kabab, strong recommendation for these two and also tried taftan , a roti of Baluchistan province
The food is great combination in flavours of east Asia along with north of India
For deserts, we tried something different unique, chai biscuit icecream, it really tastes like masala wali chai , a cool frozen icecream with tea as taste
Home made kulfi with anjeer falooda, superb in texture with strawberry base and anjeer pulp and hand made kulfi
They also have Chinese ice creams like red chilly bite and caramelised ginger but that’s for next time as ek baar jaane se man nahi bharata
Mr vivek , the manager takes utmost care of all customers and I must compliment Mr Kapil, the owner whom we could meet.
Tempting menu delicious food new variety loved this new place
A hidden gem in Ic colony. A small cozy restaurant perfect for family gathering. Lovely ambience. Below is what we ordered
Sweet corn soup and hot and sour soup. Both tasted well.
Starters - for veg we had cheese and yogurt kebabs. They just yum when it melts in your mouth.
For non veg - we had gillafi chicken and smoked chicken pot tikka. Nicely grilled and good chicken pieces served.
Main course- we had buttery chicken and dhaba paneer. Both are simply finger licking dishes.
Great presentation and variety of dishes. Definitely worth to go back again.
What we ordered:
Crispy chicken with dark chilli - 5/5:
This was basically a combo of chicken chilly and chicken crispy. The chicken was fried to perfection and the sauces were also in the right proportion. It was quite spicy. Try this dish to fulfill your chinese cravings.
Chicken lollipop with sichuan- 5/5 :
There were 6 pieces of lollipop in the dish which were covered with some gravy.
Schezwan triple style - 4/5 :
Like any schezwan triple, it had schezwan rice with noodles and manchurian gravy. The quantity is sufficient for 3. The gravy was a bit sour. All in all, it was good dish but nothing extraordinary about it.
Nasigoreng- 3/5 :
This dish tasted like schezwan fried rice. It is served with some fried chips and a sunny side up egg. The chips taste like dried shrimp. There was nothing different about this dish.
Veg Hara bhara kebab-5/5 :
This was a complimentary dish. We've had a few hara bhara kebabs but this was the best among the list.
Paan mojito-5/5
The varieties of mocktails that they serve is very refreshing, ones that I've never tried before. So we went for these 2 flavours. This drink is literally paan in a mojito. The flavours were so rich and concentrated. Definitely give this a try.
Achari mojito-5/5:
This is the first time, I've tried something like this. If you're a desi and missing some achaariness in the meal then go for this drink :D
Salt and spice-5/5 :
This one was complimentary. This drink was a mixture of chillies and black salt as the name suggests. It was sweet, salty and spicy. All in all, yum!
Sumeruu is a great restaurant to visit with friends and family. It's a small, cozy place with good ambience and great food.
Go fill your hungry souls❤
One of the best places we have visited recently.

Food and mocktails are tasty.
Mocktails-
- Chikkirita- Delicious. Must have!!
- Achari Mojito- Different but we loved it! A very unique twist.
- Iced Tea- Nice
Food-
- Chana Chaat- One of the best chana chaat we have tasted. Spicy but delicious.
- Yunan Style Tomato Soup- Tasty
- Lemon Coriander soup- Perfect
- Bharwan Tandoori Aloo- Tasty and tandppred to perfection.
- Baise in Sichuan - Delicious. The paneer pieces were nice and soft
- Pad Thai Noodles - Okish.. could have been better
- Srilankan Yellow Curry with rice- Delicious. The curry was good.
Desserts-
They have some amazing flavours of homemade icecreams. We tried the Cutting chai biscoot and purani poli flavours and both were good specially the chai biscuit falvpured one.
All in all a good experience.. a must visit place
Great ambience! Great food! Helpful staff!
We dined at Sumeruu restaurant located in Dahisar West. Sumeruu is dedicated to North Indian, Chinese food but with a modern twist without making the food feel gimmicky OR contrived.
The ambiance is classy and comforting. A well stocked and beautifully illuminated bar acts as the centerpiece of the restaurant.
Here's what we had
Oreo Shake : It was delicious thick shake blended with loads of oroe cookies
Virgin Mojito : A perfect refreshing mocktail to start with
Paan Mojito : Mojito given a twist, had the pawn flavours and Paan Masala's in it
Jalapeno Cheddar Chicken Tikka: The chicken was perfectly cooked with loads of flavours and had a thinly slice of jalapeno on top
Wasabi Prawns: Large fried spicy prawns was surely the show stopper of starters.
Loved everything about this dish, including how well the prawns were cooked
Awadhi Sunnehri Macchi : a boneless basa fish fried and cooked well served with sweet and spicy sauce.
Kheema Kaleji Pav: The kaleji kheema together was cooked in indian spices, this was a semi dry preparation served with butter fried pav..
Konkani Jhinga with steam rice: my favorite of the night, here the prawns were cooked in coconut based gravy, A Winner!
Sumeruu is a Indian & continental cuisine fine dining restaurant.
The place has comfortable couch seating.
A place meant for friends and family outing.
They serve refreshing Mocktails too.
Visited this restaurant for a sunday lunch.
We tried,
Jalapeno Cheddar Chicken - deliciously cooked in tandoor, well marinated, served in shots glasses.
Rogan Gosh Mutton Curry with steamed rice - A wholesome amount of well marinated soft meat, cooked in gravy. Loved it with steamed rice.
Drinks we had,
Salt and Spice
Paan Mojito
Both were good.
Desserts we had,
Matcha ice cream served as a kulfi with blueberry popsicles.
The staff was polite and friendly, service was prompt and on time. Had a great time. Would visit again.
Sumeruu is a great place where you can find a culinary combination of Indian and Chinese cuisine. The place is great to chill with friends and family. Food is delightful and they have a huge variety of unique dishes in their menu. Beverage- Achari Mojito Very unique with a tangy taste of achar in Mojito. Chikkirita Milkshake made with chikki, takes you to your childhood. Appetizer- Teen Mushroom ke Galouti Delicious and melt in mouth. Paneer in Dark Chilly Flavourful and must try Mains- Flat rice noodles in sambal oelek (Taste Rating: 8/10) Dessert- Baked rabdi tukda (Taste Rating: 7/10) Appetizing and rich with flavours.
Had been there just yesterday. Kind of loved the way the food is made , served.. if u look at most of the menu it’s almost been recreated to carry authentic taste with a new fusion . Names of dishes carry their original name with local dialects. Everyone for the staff paid attention the moment u either made visible face changes while tasting the first bite , ready to ask or change or listen to ur views ..awaiting eagerly to visit again
Summeru is newly opened place located in IC Colony, Dahisar West. As far as I know, there are very few place for family get together or family lunch/dinner place in Dahisar. This place does not have big area but can easily accommodate 30-35 people at a time. I was here as they serves very delicious food. Staff is also very attending and polite with the customers. Owner comes personally to attend their customers. That's quite good gesture that I can say. Overall worth to visit.
Lets see what I tried there,
Achari mojito:
It was actually tasted like pickle. They had added pickle gravy into the mojito. It was something unique mojito that I have ever tried.
Mulligatwey:
It was soup, made from mix daal. It was accompanied with plain rice. Somewhere, soup tasted like daal.
After this we had Amuse Bouche, a pallet cleanser. Basically it was deep fried fritters made of mixed veggies. This was also served with red and green chutney.
Tandoori Bharvan Aloo:
Scopped potatoes filled with mix vegetables and cheese. Accompanied by green and red chutneys.
Dahi ke kabab:
Can't get over from this. It was undoubtedly yummy kabab. Soft from inside and crunchy from outside. It was melting in my mouth easily.
They serves Chinese starters too. In Chinese I tried exotic musttom and broccoli in oyster suace. There were mixed vegetables like baby corn, Zucchini, capsicum, Broccoli, button mushrooms tossed in oyster sauce.
Coming towards main course,
Chui moui ke kofte:
It was kofta made of mawa. Soft and sweet in taste. Gravy was also sweet. If you like to have sweet gravy then must try. Along with this I had onion and chilli laccha paratha and olive rosemary paratha.
Tikkhi paneer laukhnowi biryani:
As the name suggests, it was very pungent in taste. Long rice and its aroma was amazing. It was in huge quantity. Enough for 2 people to full their tummy. Served with raita and papad.
In Dessert :
They have Indian as well as Chinese varieties in ice-cream. I picked up Thandai icecream from Indian menu and Gauva chilli ice cream from Chinese menu.
Sumeruu is a newly opened restaurant located near Kanderpada at Dahisar Link Road.
The restaurant serves you variety of dishes in Indian and Asian cuisine.
Visited the restaurant on a Saturday night. The restaurant was fairly crowded. The service was prompt. Absolutely loved the ambience and the food vibes.
We started with Bira Di Murgh Tangdi. 3 juicy chicken drums coated with thick Indian Spices. Served with green chutney. The drums were marinated and grilled to perfection.
Tried my all time favorite. Butter Garlic Prawns. The quantity was quite generous. Good 7-8 pieces of prawns tossed with spring onion, bell pepper, lettuce, burnt garlic in butter garlic sauce. Tasted absolute heaven.
The best one of the day was Stir Fry Crab in Hunan Sauce. Meaty Balls with crab meat shallow fried and tossed in Hunan Sauce was by far one of the best crab appetizer I have eaten in a while.
For refreshments I suggest u guys to try Salt and Spice and Pan Mojito.
Overall it was a lovely experience for me and partner. The hospitality and service was on point. Food was great. Would surely visit again very soon.
Sweet place located in borivali.
Menu is good, also quality of food is amazing.
Really great service.
Must try Peshwari Paneer, Achari mojito
What a beautiful place near Borivali and Dahisar.
Beautiful is the place, beautiful is the food , beautiful is the ambience and beautiful is the service.
The moment you enter the place will give you positive vibes which are necessary for enjoying your meal.
It's a family fine dine with super good menu which shows authenticity in cuisine.
Both vegetarians and non vegetarians will be happy with the menu.
What i loved?
Bira di tangdi (most recommended)
Chicken gao ding ki
Paneer tikka
I tried there homemade ice cream which was fantastic and definitely you all should give it a try.
The thandai homemade ice cream was the best.
Kulfi faluda was not as i expected but still not bad to give a try.
This is a happy place with good food, staff and ambience.
Definitely visiting this place again for another good experience.

Dahisar always required fine dine restaurant, being resident in this side of town, we always felt gap fine dine place.
Sumeruu, finally a place which serves fine dine at its best. An amazing menu set by the team with some of our favorate dishes. Interiors beautifully done with comfortable sofa, the walls and ambiance, truly beautiful and very clean.
The service is truly recommendable, owners meeting and greeting every customer, perfect example of what Hospitality industry is all about.
Coming to Mocktails, Achari Mojito.. a twist on regular with achari flavors infused. Fantastic drink..
Dr. Rupa Ginger Ale, a mix of Ginger ale with jal jeera.. truly healthy and delicious.
A great beginning to our dinner.
Starts with Palate cleanser, some tikki with Sichuan dress, amazing.
For Appetizers, We called for Bharwan Aloo, all time favorate. Fantastic presentation of the dish. Perfectly baked potato with chopped veggies and spices stuffed. Yogurt tandoor marination spot on. A delightful dish.. Highly recommended. We tried the Peshwari Paneer , loved the softness of paneer and charcoal aroma. Marination little light but smokiness of the the dish, just fabulous. Highly Recommended..!!!
Something from Oriental Cusine, we opted for , Paneer Lui So Re. Mashed Paneer Dumplings fried and tossed in garlic basil sauce.
For main we opted for Jaipuri Sabji with Taftaan & Kulcha. Crushed papad with onion gravy and cream and lotnof veggies. Well balanced , aromatic and lovely presentation. Also, not oily, something which we always prefer.
Taftaan, super soft and fluffy bread, just Wow, to describe this bread.
Overall, Sumeruu truly lives upto our expectations. The place has a great vibes, modern ambiance with Amazing food to offer, a must try place..!!
This new place in Dahisar is literally a delight for people staying nearby!
It is one extra ordinary restaurant which caters to all your needs and satisfies you so well :)
This place really serves one of the best north indian and chinese of all the places I've visited off lately!
The place is not that biggie but surely a big delight! 😻
Went here with my mom and sister for lunch today.
For drinks, we ordered:
1. Salt & Spice: It had orange juice, chillies and black salt. A little on the spicier side, this mocktail was a total hit! Black salt gave a very unique taste! 😻
2. Achari Mojito: Refreshing mojito with achari flavour! A little on the tangier and spicier side! Amazing!
For soups and starters we ordered:
1. Tamatar Dhaniya Shorba: Classic Tomato soup with a prominent flavour of dhaniya and full of cream. Aaah.. so goood!
2. Desi Aranchini in Charcoal Chaap: This was a star for me😻 Rice based balls with a classic gravy. This is something you shouldn't miss on!
3. Veg Spring Rolls: These rolls were a little disappointing. Quite average!
For mains, we ordered:
1. Smoky Kolhapuri with Butter Kulcha and Butter Naan: Kolhapuri was just sooo goood 😻 amazing smoky flavour and really delicious gravy! Also kulchas and naans were so soft and buttery. Loved it!
2. Veg Fried Rice: Rice and vegetables were properly cooked and were really good!
For desserts, we ordered:
1. Kaju Kulfi with Anjeer Falooda: It was actually a rose falooda with the pieces of kaju kulfi and topped with real anjeer and its pulp. We all really loved this dessert! So so yumm! 😻
2. Thandai Icecream: This one's really not a miss! 😻
3. Activated Black Charcoal Icecream: Wow 😻
We were by served by Karan. He helped us in ordering some really good things.
This new place surely deserved to be tried! 😻
Amazing service, Friendly and helpful staff, great Menu
One of the best meals I have had in a long long time. It is not only the food but the ambience, the relaxed seating, the crockery, the plating and yes the icing on the cake is the sumptuous and delectable food. The spices are not overbearing, the ingredients used are top quality and fresh. The dishes are not the same boring ones but care has been taken to introduce novel dishes and new flavours which are subtle. The decor is soothing and the service is prompt and with a smile. They have gone for less seating and more space for diners. Enjoyed the meal in a relaxed and calm atmosphere with relatively less noise as compared to similar places. Highly recommended.
Nice ambience i like the twist on achari mojito and gingerale . Dynamite prawn was a downer... but relished the veg 65 and rogan gosh.... the hit was the chai biscuit ice cream for dessert .... more interesting dessert are tempting to come again
Divine orange chicken.... doubt that there is such a dish around....my favourite. Please ignore the tag's. It's Zomato forced options
One more amazing place for non vegetarian cuisine. Great fusion menu if Indian and Chinese cuisine. The ambience too is great.
Great food and Great Service
There are very few restaurants you can come by in Borivali that serves you high quality food. Not just taste but presentation and flavor. Ordered the Chicken in orange jus which had a lovely sweet and spicy flavor. Mains were kheema and pad Thai. Pad Thai was a tad bit spicy but the Kheema was to die for. Naans were excellent but for me the stand out was the Rabdi tukda. Flavorful and oozing with Kesar.
Kudos to Kapil the owner he's doing a fantastic job.
Perfect Family Restaurant
When It comes to good food with good ambience in Dahisar Borivali belt there are hardly any names pop up in your head. This place was much needed with its classy yet modern interiors.
The staff was attentive and knew the menu well , Since it’s a new place Hara bhara kabab was on the house and was good. Ordered Beetroot bhujiya salad which was passable!
We tried the North Indian cuisine from the menu.
The smoked kholapuri was yummy and went well with the taftan bread , yes one of the very few which offer taftan in the menu!
Overall a good place to take your family for lunch\dinner . Only complaint is that the options are limited for vegans, which the owner says would be adding many options in coming days .
The name Sumeru means wonderful, excellent. And this restaurant has kept up to the name.
On our plate:
Smoked chicken pot tikka. I would have liked it more if this wasn’t fried
Butter chicken: You cannot go wrong with this one. We wanted it to be a little spicy and they obliged.
Mumbai tariwala murgh: This is served with Pav and spicy as hell. A must try.
This is the food we had at the restaurant and I also ordered some food at home too, veg Thai green curry and Burhani Ghosth. The Thai curry comes along with an awesome flavoured sticky rice. The curry is not sweet. Most of the Thai curries I have eaten have a sweet taste. This ones fresh and spicy. The mutton dish was cooked to perfection. Succulent pieces of mutton and great flavours. All mutton lovers, this one’s a must try...
Overall... Great food and Value for money.
New place. Superbly done. Lovely menu veg and non veg. Courteous staff.
Limited menu,Spoke to Kapil,he has assured it will be taken care of...as well as the quantity. The reason given is genuine that they are just warming up n new.. Have been promised these things will be dealt with, and am happy with the assurance given.. so looking forward to my next visit.. plz ignore my previous review as it was a mistake.. thankyou Kapil.
P.S. forgot to mention the on the house appetizer the harabhara kebab tiki tasted great with the schezwan sauce 👍
Summeru in is a nice and new outlet opened in Borivali and also very close to station.
They have variety of dishes ranging from Indian to Italian and even Mexican that they serve. We really loved their ambience too!
Started with achari mojito which was a twist with normal mojito! Loved it all right
Dr Rupas gingeale was another great drink. It has got the nice ginger touch to this.
Yogurt and cheese ke kebab was a nice combination of kebab with dahi and cheese and accompanied this by butter roti and naan.
Ordered a ice cream of thandai flavour at the end. Great at the end.
Overview we loved the place and a must recommend
Class apart! The owners really know the art of serving actual quality food. From the simple yet very elegant interiors to the presentation of what they serve is top notch! This is the place to be to suffice all your indian and chinese cravings! They also serve some very interesting Mocktails and their desserts are something that one must never fail to order. Highly recommend the Motichoor ice cream. Looking forward to dine in again very soon! Thanks for the unforgettable hospitality and the very warm welcome that I received.
Sumeruu is a lovely restaurant, great for family dinners or lunches. The quantity is just right.
First visit.
We had the hot & sweet soup which was very balanced. The Taftan (a type of bread) was soft & went very well with the Dhaba-style paneer. The wheat rotis were nice, thin & crispy.
Second visit.
The Wasabi Prawns Koliwada was fresh & crispy served with Wasabi flavored mayo. The Wasabi flavor could've been stronger. The Chilly Coriander stir fry was very nice. Our main course — Bamee Goreng noodles was OK, the sauce could've been more subtle. The mushroom galauti kebab were well made and served with a tiny roti. Overall loved the meal.
They gave us a complimentary appetizer which was a nice gesture. For dessert, we had the Serradura. The salted caramel popcorn icecream was very good, must try.
The service is great, the owner is very accommodating.
This is by far one of the best places in Dahisar West for a superior dining experience. The food is as close to perfection as possible. You can order Chinese, North Indian or anything from the menu, you will not be disappointed. The mocktails are very well prepared and presented. The staff is professional and very accommodating. The chef is kind enough to let patrons taste some complimentary preparations as well.
The only con is that there's no alcohol served here. But, you will hardly miss it because of the sheer quality and quantity of the food on your table.
I recently dined at my favorite restaurant, and the experience was truly exceptional. The menu boasts a diverse range of dishes, each expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. From appetizers to desserts, every bite was a delight. The ambiance is cozy yet elegant, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable meal. The attentive staff and top-notch service added to the overall positive experience. I can confidently say it's a culinary gem worth visiting for anyone seeking delicious and well-presented food.
Hungerpangs on my siblings birthday lead us to this amazing family restaurant in IC colony. Since then we have visited this restaurant several times. The ambience is decent no loud music for a change. The crowd is extremely decent. Polite staff. They always welcome you with a platter of veg Hara bhara kebab 🥙 which i haven't seen others in the vicinity do so. The food portions are amazing. Filling for a family of two. Their nonveg tandoor items are mouth watering. No alcohol but you get good mocktails n homemade ice cream 😎. I am sharing couple of pictures related to the food that i have indulged in at Sumeru.
The food was delicious! More than the non-vegetarian starters we enjoyed the vegetarian starters. They offer good variety in vegetarian food. The sider salad was also too good. In drinks I recommend the Paan mojito! It's a must try. Also the dessert was very good. The salted caramel icecream consistency and taste was heavenly.
The ambience is nice. We had been with our work staff of 10 people and were accomodated comfortably on a table. They gave us a complimentary appetizer too. The only thing that bothered us was the waiting time. The service was too slow although there were only two tables booked in the ambience. For which the manager said in his defence that they make each and every dish fresh so it takes time to serve. When we ordered another paan mojito it took them about 20-30 minutes because they said they have gone out to get the fresh paan😅.
Lovely ambience, courteous staff and amazing food! Must visit place for food lovers since all the dishes served here are so tasty. Weekends are little busy so advance booking is recommended.
Great food with amazing service and a fantastic ambience! No compromise in the taste, quality of ingredients and service. My family and friends are huge fans. Always look forward to the next meal.
Maintaining the quality and taste is always difficult and full marks to Team Sumeruu for being consistent and improving. Anxiously waiting for the Diwali & Christmas specials!
Excellent food, good staff. We ordered
Jalapeno Cheddar Chicken tikka and chicken spring roll for starters and Sri lankan gravy with rice as main course and for dessert it was their "home made" ultra dark chocolate icecream. Each of the dish was 10/10. Prices are fine too.
Sumeruu has got an amazing ambience, excellent service and of course there's finger licking good hot food served.😋
Just love this place for its unique food menu, customer satisfaction, and oh they serve a complementary starter to everyone (missed taking a picture of it😬 because I never got a starter for free before and couldn't wait to taste it😉).
Food ordered was of good quality and quantity for 3 people. Well curated menu. Honey chili potato was really good. The staff is very good and recommend us with good food option.
