Amazing place. Ambience gives a very nostalgic vibe. We tried the mutton cutlets and kheema pav. It was absolutely delicious. Very friendly waiter and good service. Overall loved this place. Highly recommend

The pav here hits different. Mutton kheema is tasty, on par with other places in South Mumbai.

The authentic Parsi cuisine is amazing in taste. Huge quantity & quality food. I regularly visit this place as this is near by my work. Also I love the vintage parsi hotel atmosphere/ look. Now they have started using UPI payment service.

A typical Irani cafe that gives a feeling of tranquility in the chaos of Mumbai. Definitely worth a visit for some soulful food served with peaceful vibes. Note: only cash accepted here.

We had a great experience here. The place is clean and the waiter very friendly and helpful. One of the nicest guys that I've come across in this business. Since we weren't too hungry, we got the Veggie cutlets with Chai, a pudding and a flan. Everything was good, but I have to especially mention the Veggie cutlet. It was the best and largest cutlet that I've had in life, without exaggeration. Check this place out if you're in the area, it is a historic one!

The parsi delicacy - chicken Cutlet with gravy is the best dish I ever had and the bread pudding 🍮🤌🏼

You will hardly take 5-7 mins by walk to reach Excelsior once you are out from the subway of CSMT railway station. Visited on a Sunday afternoon and like most of the reviews said, it wasn't crowded at all. After reading a few reviews and watching youtube videos, i had to visit this place, and i will tell you we weren't disappointed. * It had that vintage vibe, was clean and the service was quick with equally humble staff. * We started with their best seller - mutton keema salli with pav. It was really good. * You can also go for their chicken/ mutton cutlet with dry or gravy options. You may want to skip the Chicken Farcha though. * Well they have roti on their menu, but they mostly only serve bread pav and rice with their gravy dishes. * There obviously is the bun maska and chai which is again ordered by most (we did not try this). * Then comes the mostly served and mostly available beverage options- pallonji's raspberry and icecream soda. * The pudding towards the end was sone pe suhaga. Overall, good place, good food, and definitely not pricey. Also, i will surely visit again for the dishes i missed ordering. 🤭

Irani food lovers, do visit this cafe. It serves delicious food. Near to Cst station, walking distance from Oval maidan too. Right opposite Excelsior theatre. Do not forget to carry CASH here, they don't accept cards. Atm is near by. Its non AC. Food is absolutely delicious here, we always hog on mutton kheema pav dry, chicken cutlets, bun masaka chai, dhansak. Reasonable prices. For two u can spend Rs 1000 to 1200 for 2 to 3 food dishes. We are regular visitors here, there is a old pre British historian vibe here. From the wall tiktik clocks to the furniture. Staff work here since many many years now. Parking 4 wheeler could be a issue. Check out the food pics i uploaded. Must visit.

An old restuarant with great food. Looking the restaurant from outside people would hesitate to go in also it was empty the day i visited with my friends. But we went in the waiter was quite knowledgeable and he guided us with the menus we ordered mutton kheema pav and mutton salli (in the picture) the taste was amazing we finished it off and ordered another Persian dish called Mutton Danshak which was also delicious also we ordered icecream soda and caramel. Price was quite reasonable. Good place for perfect food.

A retro place with a laid back atmosphere. Had keema pav, it tasted good but wasn't hot. Irani chai as usual was good. Custard was ok. Overall there was nothing wow about it unlike other Iranian cafes in the city.

If someone is looking for Irani Food then I would like to suggest this place. Keema Paav is Highly Recommended by me. Pudding is the best dessert which I had. The best place to hangout with friends, for corporate gossips.

Old Irani Cafe exactly opposite Excelsior Cinema now known as Mukta Cinema A2 in fort area. Very good Chicken Mayo roll, it was freshly made and of course Chai. Not very crowded in evening. Pay and park service and parking available on weekends mostly.

Iconic place that's more than a century old. Old style basic decor. Parsi food and Raspberry soda are well known. Menu is well priced and portions are large. Good food and happy customers makes it a lively place. Service is polite and professional. They do not accept credit card. Hygiene demands a little more effort.

First of all it is an 103 year old Irani Restaurant founded in 1919.🏨 Kheema Pav was delicious, the pav/bread was so so soft and delicious.❤️🤤. They serve alot quantity in cheap rates. 2 peoples can easily eat in one dish.🥘🍲 Our bill for two people was 1300. Don't try the raspberry soda, it tastes like a cough medicine. Try Mutton and chicken dishes which has an Irani touch in them with thick gravies💯💯. And don't miss the Irani Chai and Bun Muska🤤❤️
